SECOND FIRST TIMES
"Unintelligible speaking was the first thing I heard as my consciousness was brought into a state of existence into a world for the first or I guess my second time, hearing sounds which my fresh newborn eardrums couldn't properly pick up as my eyes in similar condition could detect light but not properly capture the images they were seeing making everything appear blurry. I started exploring with my other senses with my heightened infant sense of smell and touch feeling what felt like a large warm hand holding my tiny ones and the smell of antiseptic and sweat in the air as a thought came to me, " How do I know what those are? " as a wave of memories flooded my mind a slight headache coming with them as everything went black.
When I woke up again I heard a voice as I came to, "...come see our baby Shin."
I heard the rustling of my blanket as I felt myself be lifted into another set of arms as I tried to take a look at the features of the person who picked me up taking a look at the person as they brought me closer to their face allowing my developing eyes to take in their features.
I watched as his eyes morphed from black to blood red with three comma like marks surrounding his pupils my baby eyes widened in surprise and glee as I raised my hands towards his face moving my fingers in a grabbing motion as I grabbed one of his bangs giggling as I felt him with my own hands, feeling that he was real as the realization dawned on me that the events that had lead me to this point in my new life, my old body's death, my time in the void and circumstances of reincarnation were all real. My infant eyes watering with tears of joy as I giggled while the man who I could tell was my father laughed and said," Now that's my little ball of sunshine.
I'll soon be heading out for some groceries so can you keep your mother safe until I come back."
I tried to reply but my lack of teeth and current lack of muscle memory for speech all that came out was a clumsy line of excited babbling which he simply smiled in response to.
I was handed to my mother as I got the chance to take a good look at her face seeing a beautiful heart shaped face with soft facial features and fair olive skin which made her vibrant red hair and purple eyes stand out in an appealing contrast.
Her demeanor made approachable by the gentle smile on her lips and love in her eyes for me her newborn son.
She played with me for a bit by tickling I and using baby talk which somehow managed to make a matured mind like mine tingle with amusement at the juvenile attempt at comedy.
I made my decision at that moment to go through with what I had planned for myself in order to truly start my new life, my genesis so to speak and I initiated it by feigning sleep with the action's deceitful property boosted by my childish innocence.
I was moved to my crib which happened to be right beside the bed she was currently laying on to rest.
As I closed my eyes to feign sleep I used [Cyber Mind] to quickly help me sort through my memories and arrange them according to relevance. Only then did I test it as I said some words within my mind. "Nirvana System, can I make my third wish?"
I didn't hear anything and reluctantly opened my eyes to see a one word reply on a message window, YES.
I smiled my toothless smile as I prepared to make my third wish. It was going to be a wish which would separate my sentimental memories and experience from the pure information contained in them, meaning I would have all the knowledge of my past life bit wouldn't have any of the emotions attached to them. The joys and pain related to those moments would be gone leaving behind pure knowledge for the new me to use in my rise to the top. It would help since I won't have to be faking my emotions most of the time since I won't have any attachments to my last life along with having It would also allow me to adapt easier bit at the risk of losing some emotional maturity leaving me at the emotional maturity of a teenager at most bit I knew it would not be for long since I would have to grow up fast when I became a shinobi.
I steeled myself and said the words I had been preparing myself to speak within my mind, "I wish to have all sentiment and emotion separated from my past life's memories and have the remaining information ingrained into my body and mind."
My mind went blank as I spaced out and in that moment I was truly reborn. It was my genesis.
I smiled as the light returned to my eyes with much more than a little excitement being barely contained in my body as a tiny giggle escaped my lips I decided to check my status window as I made a mental command to summon it taking a look at my stats and levels.

I started thinking of a training plan to best improve myself in my current state as I closed my eye and making a mental overview of my current situation , "I am currently a baby so I can't start any physical training except regaining simple motor functions and motions like crawling, walking and later running. I also have to learn how to speak and write again along with training the skills that I can work with right now which is mainly my mental skills so by order of priority I'll go through the steps to regain my mobility which will be easier with my muscle memory downloaded into my body's cells as a result of my wish and train skills like [APPRAISE] and grind [IMPERIUM] by using it to improve my body's capabilities as much as I can. I can decide how to advance from that point on." I decided my next course of action with an extensive mental monologue and opened my eyes to start of my training when I saw another message window.

I read the quest alert and didn't know whether to be happy or annoyed as I looked at the high risk high reward first quest I received from the system and clicked the rewards and penalty too see their descriptions, after all having a healthy amount of paranoia is something any shinobi hopeful like me should have.

I looked at the only flaw on the list with an unholy determination in my eyes glad that my parents were out of the way right now as I gave the mental command to accept the quest, starting the grueling journey to achieve success. I first rolled unto my belly trying to lift myself up with my tiny arms and after a couple of minutes of flopping around like a dying fish I had enough grip and had practiced the motion well enough to get on my hands and knees the soft material of my crib's mattress sinking in according to my movement as I made a sad attempt at crawling and after a few more minutes of trying to crawl I realized something. Babies at my age have still developing skeletal muscle at this point in our lives and with the cartilage which made up most of the material which acted as my bones being that much more flexible than adult bones along with the joints which held them being a bit unsteady. Even with my constant floundering which counted as exercise by baby standards I might not be able to get all the bonus rewards at my current rate. I stopped my little training montage and decided to try something which could help my current situation. I called out the skill's name within the confines of my mind, " [IMPERIUM]! " I felt the skill activate sensing every cell within my infant body as I used [CYBER MIND] to pull to the forefront of my mind all the knowledge I had on the intricacies of the human body specifically infants. I already knew what I wanted to do but was scanning through my mind using [CYBER MIND] to make sure memory wasn't failing me since what I was about to do was a sort of skill based medical procedure which I had cooked up with the [IMPERIUM] skill in mind. I had come up with it when I created my game and had done research using high tech computer simulations to simulate each possibility to my theories to perfect it. A set of internal surgery-like procedures based around [IMPERIUM] to enhance a person's body as safely as possible, of course there were some that were risks which also produced great rewards in return but what I was about to do with my skills was to simply accelerate my growth just enough that I would be in the beginning stages of being a toddler, at least my muscular and skeletal systems along with my senses.
I wanted to allow my teeth to grow normally and allow me to continue feeding like a normal baby, the same could be said for my hair as I wasn't sure how even shinobi parents would react to their baby having such as a sudden, noticeable growth spurt. My weight wouldn't be much of a problem since my skill would be using my stored up baby fat and the cells which would be replaced during apoptosis for the growth to happen smoothly so all I had to do was to wait for a good to carry out the procedure.
I heard the door to the room my mother and I were currently in click as it was unlocked and opened by my father who had returned from his grocery run. I decided to put a stop to my little sleeping act and let out a line of nonsensical baby babble to attract my father's attention quieting down when I saw him look down at me from his in proportion to mine towering height, smiling down to me as he spoke in a calm yet amused voice, "You seem rather energetic today, do you want to do a little exploring?" I responded by getting into my crawling posture and crawling towards him on the mattress of my sizable crib with fluid and practiced motions smiling as I noticed the surprised look on his face which turned to a classic Uchiha smirk filled with pride as he spoke," You are developing faster than a child your age should that is a sign of early talent. I guess that shows that you have strong blood flowing through your veins."
He lets a small laugh escape his lips as he continues to speak," Grow up well and become strong so that you can take care of yourself my little dragon. Soar above all and show them what a true Uchiha is." I looked at the man who I had come to acknowledge as my father, looking into his eyes with a curious expression as I tilted my head. My thoughts on his statement reflected by expression as I wondered why he was so interested in my potential strength and it seemed like he read my thoughts as he spoke," Tatsu my little boy, at this time you are the only one I this to. Our clan is getting slow suppressed by the village and is losing its relevance, I hope that you can become strong not only for us but for the rest of our clan to show the village that the Uchiha clan is still the clan that fans the flames of the Land of Fire and in turn Konoha."
I was impressed but also unnerved at the intensity with which he spoke those words, impressed because of how accurate his statement was considering the fact that the Uchiha Massacre came as a result of the circumstances he spoke of along with some other factors but also unnerved because he spoke like he expected me to understand his words perfectly which I did but he shouldn't be able to tell that I could understand could he.
He took me on a tour of our apartment which he stated during our trek that it was a two bedroom apartment which we were renting temporarily until my mother could fully recover from childbirth and I was determined to be strong enough to travel.
He then sent me back to my crib, placing me in with my toys surrounding me. I feigned sleep while focusing my senses within myself observing my body's functions and checking one last time to see if the procedure I was getting ready to use would have enough resources in my body that I could access in order to safely finish the procedure. I heard a slight shifting of bed sheets signaling to me that my father was going to sleep.
I called on my skills [IMPERIUM] and [CYBER MIND] to start the process. The first skill to allow for control of my cells to initiate growth and the latter to take control of the process so I wouldn't have to consciously do it. I felt a numb yet discomforting feeling within my body but with the assistance of [GAMER'S MIND] I didn't show any outward reaction to the drastic change happening within my body and decided to use a method I remember my past self using before doing things that required a lot of concentration or just needed to calm himself, meditation is something I had made a habit of in my past life and decided to try in this one.
I calmed myself with my eyes closed and drowned out my surroundings focusing on my breathing I kept this up for a while sinking into the depths of my consciousness as I felt something within myself which felt like a wispy ball of energy which I couldn't completely comprehend. I tried probing it with my mind to little success as I felt it under layers of mental barriers which seemed to restrict it, acting like an elastic membrane which held it within. This brought only one word coming to mind, chakra.
I could attempt to unlock it but not only would it take an amount of time and concentration which I wouldn't be able to achieve with my parents constantly around me. I could be sure my chakra's release would be noticed by my parents especially my father with his Sharingan eyes and decided that it would be best for me to complete my current quest and train using the rewards to prepare myself physically before learning chakra based techniques. After that last string of thoughts was completed I let my mind slip into a state of sleep knowing that the following days after I woke up again would be full of excitement.
NEXT MORNING
I woke up the next day to a beautiful morning seeing the light streaming through the flowing curtains? Wait I can see perfectly again. The realization hit me like a tailed beast bomb when I realized that I could see perfectly again I got up to my feet in joy and realized that the use of my skill had gone off without a hitch feeling how solid my internal structure, my bones and muscles felt. I looked at myself realizing that I had grown a few inches in the process meaning had grown to the size of a toddler on the shorter end of the spectrum and I naturally did what any logical person would do in my situation, abuse my abilities as much as I could to my heart's content. I activated [APPRAISE] to take a look at the objects around me in the room which I could see with good clarity now with only few standing out like:

This world's language sounds similar to Japanese so I've been able to understand what I've heard of it so far and the characters of their written language is also similar so I've managed to use my past life's knowledge to get by but you can't be too prepared.
I was brought out of my thoughts immediately at the sound of an opening door seeing my father walked into the room. I took a few unsteady steps since I was still adapting to this new form to get to the bars of my crib. I then poked my face over the top of the railing to get a better view and activated [APPRAISE] with him as my target.

" It seems that even with her red hair and fuuinjutsu skills my mother considers herself to be more of a Senju than an Uzumaki if her name is any indication but she still considers herself to be a member of the ruined village in the Land of Whirlpools and I wonder what exactly the title my father has [MASTER OF THE SHARINGAN] means but it seems I'll have to level up my [APPRAISE] to see more but since he is a jounin it will be harder for me to keep secrets around him. I'll also have to get information on the current state of the Elemental Nations to plan with more certainty. I can tell from the fact that my father is moving around outside the village without being on a mission that the Kyuubi Attack hasn't happened since the village would call back all able-bodied shinobi since it will be in a state of lockdown after that. I have to prepare as much as I can so that I can at least run when it happens. I'll also have toeat soon the backlash of my procedure should come soon." after Tatsu finished his legendary inner monologue something happened. He felt it happen and his father heard it, a monstrous growl unleashed by his stomach. He panicked and did the first thing that came to mind and let out a wailing baby's cry to diffuse the awkward atmosphere that was created when we both stared at each other after my little incident.
My mother woke up and took me into her arms trying to soothe me as she put me to her breast to allow me to feed," Hush my little dragon, you must've been hungry." She noticed the change in my appearance and turned to my father to speak," Darling what happened to our baby?"
He looked at me as I started feeding noticing the changes in my body structure," I noticed that he was developing quickly, both physically and mentally but didn't think much of it since children born to shinobi families tend to develop a lot faster than normal ones especially the ones with special traits or talent.
Himiko replied," Even by shinobi standards this growth is too rapid. Do you think it could be a mutation due to our blood mixing?"
"It is possible but we should just pay attention to his development for now and try not to worry because in the end I think his rapid development is more of a boon to him than a disadvantage."
"Ok! We will do that and besides this will allow us to return to your village soon. I hope our son will be able to grow up safely and have a happy childhood especially with the relationship you have with your clan."
"You don't have to worry about that and even if they try something…" he moves closer and sits beside my mother putting his left arm on here shoulder and caresses my growing hair and activates his fully matured sharingan "I will show them what an angry Uchiha is capable of."
I pulled my head back from my mother's breast, satisfied with my meal as I listened to my parents continue on with their small talk and decided it was time to try something. I started to stand on the bed with both my parents watching me, I got let out a giggle of satisfaction from watching their calm expressions change to shocked ones as I stood upright and took a few steps on the bed before losing my balance and belly flopping on the bed. My mother moved with energy that I didn't expect grabbing me and hugging me as she stood up and spun with me in her arms and turned to my father and spoke." Did you see that Shin! Our little baby is already taking his first steps."
"Yes I did! It seems our little dragon is a fast learner just like I thought he was." My father said.
"It seems like we'll have to expect surprises like this daily, first the sudden growth and walking. Who knows he might start talking soon?" he continued.
I looked at them and smiled since I got the reaction I wanted. It's going to be an exciting couple of days.

I'm sure you might have noticed the inconsistencies in the MC's behaviour from a rational and meticulous planner to a person who displays childish tendencies.
His wish removed most of the emotional maturity he has but the memories from his last life act as a template to act more mature but his childish mind even with his past life's memories can still take irrational decisions and display instinctive reactions and behaviours like babies crying to communicate due to his lost emotional maturity. He made the third wish to allow him to interact with people without faking his emotions as much, he will still act a little manipulative to get the results he wants and doesn't have as much of a challenge and thrill-seeking streak. The reason will be explained in later chapters.
