After Itachi left Soifon in the bathroom, the small woman started to get undressed removing her soul reaper uniform she had left her captain coat at home because she didn't want any of the souls here to ask questions about why a captain was here. After she removed her uniform she looked in the mirror to look at her reflection.

Looking down at her stomach as she took off the bandages to see the damage that the hollow had left, her stormy gray eyes looked at the four reddish claw marks running her fingers over the marks they weren't completely healed, due to no one being able to heal.

Thoughts were running through the captain's mind, how could she let her guard down so easily? Shaking her head to clear her thoughts she would think about things later right now she needed to get a shower.

Slowly stepping into the shower she started rinsing off the dirt and the dry blood She let out a soft hum as she started to wash her body she wondered about Itachi.

" Who is he anyway? All I know is he has a strong spirit energy, maybe I can talk him into becoming a soul reaper, he seems strong enough he can take on as a soul reaper!" She whispered closing her eyes as she spoke to herself.

" He showed that he was capable of defending himself and was able to fight off that hollow, but that hollow wasn't nothing!"

Letting out a sigh before getting out of the shower to dry off" We can use a strong soul reaper like him, he can even join either squad two or six!" she thought, she put her clean clothes on once she rebandaged her wound.

After getting dressed and braided her hair back to its normal two braids.

Itachi was in the kitchen helping Evie set up the table" So, is our lady soul reaper going to join us for lunch?" the old woman asked with a soft smile" I don't know probably!" Itachi answered as he turned the stove off and started to fill the plates with food.

The long-haired male set the plates down on the table and set the cups with tea in them beside each plate" She hasn't eaten ever since she got here, so I figured she would be hungry!" He pointed out, Evie nodded in agreement" True!" she said as she set chopsticks and napkins down on the table.

The two chatted with one another as they set the table" Are you going to ask her when she going back home or why she was out here in the Rukon district?" Evie asked as she sat down to eat.

Itachi sat down across from her and gave her a thoughtful look" I'll ask her after lunch, let her eat!" he said as the captain walked into the kitchen once she had finished her shower.

Evie smiled as the young woman walked over to the table her arms crossed over her small chest sitting down between Itachi and Evie" How was your shower?" the old woman asked with a soft smile.

Soifon had just walked in why the two were talking about her on why she was out here in the Rukon district She didn't blame their questions so she did have to explain herself but she didn't need to let them know she was a captain right? But if she wanted Itachi to come and try being a soup reaper she had to let him know who she was.

Picking up her chopsticks before she answered Evie, her stormy gray eyes thoughtful" It was nice, thank you!" she said calmly as she took her first bite of her pasta.

" That's good!" Evie said with a smile and ate her food.

The three of them ate in silence enjoying each other's company. After lunch was done Soifon decided to help Itachi clean up since he and Evie had set up the table so it was only fair the small captain would help clean up.

Soifon and Itachi were doing the dishes in silence, now and then both of them would speak only to see where things go.

After finishing the dishes Soifon was now sitting outside watching Itachi work on the reeds, her gray eyes focused on how he was doing she thought about helping but didn't know if the man would let her.

Itachi looked up from pulling weeds near the end of the sidewalk to see Soifon walking over to him" Is everything okay?" he asked he wondered what she wanted.

The small captain stopped to stand beside the Uchiha and bent down on her knees without answering, and instead of speaking, she started to help him pull the reeds out of the ground.

Itachi watched the small woman start to help him pull the reeds out of the ground" I figured I help you out with the reeds!" Soifon began not looking from her work" If I'm going to stay here for a while I might as well help out instead of sitting in my behind!"

Itachi nodded in understanding as he pulled the reeds as well" I understand but don't overdo it, it's only been four days!" he warned her, The only response he got from her was a grunt.

Back to theSeireitei* Jushiro's P.O.V

Four days had passed since Soifon had been gone and she still hadn't come home yet, which worried Jushirio to no end he knew he shouldn't be too worried the second squad captain could take care of herself, but Yoruichi told the head captain that Soifon would only be gone for a few days which meant she would have been back two days ago.

The white-haired captain let out a sigh' What if she doesn't come back?' he thought with a frown, quickly shaking his head ' No, she won't do that!' he scolded himself.

The thirteenth squad captain took a sip of his tea in deep thought his eyes narrowed when a voice came from behind him" You look like Yachiru stool another one of your fish!" Shunsui remarked once he reached his old friend" Hello to you Shunsui!" Jushiro greeted his best friend with a small smile.

The eighth squad captain grinned at the white-haired man as he sat down in front of him on the other side of the table " You seem down. I mean more than usual! Is something bothering you?" The usual laid-back captain asked looking at Jushiro with concern.

" Is it because of Captain Soifon being gone longer than Yoruichi said she would?" He asked seeing Jushiro tense at his question.

" You can say that! I'm just worried that she won't come back. I might go-" Jushiro began before having a slight coughing fit Shunsui leaned forward to pat his friend on the back" You shouldn't worry, Captain Soifon is a big girl she can take care of herself!" He reassured the white-haired captain.

" I know it's just I'm worried!" Jushiro said with a frown he was worried that something happened especially when Rukia had got some reports of a hollow in the Rukon district, but it was dealt with by a soul reaper but they didn't know who did it.

Shunsui eyed his friend he didn't know why Jushiro was worried about the second squad captain so much unless they had something between the two that nobody knew about.

" Jushiro is there something going on between You and our feisty second squad captain?" The eighth captain asked with a smirk on his face, especially when his friend's eyes grew wide" What do you mean by that? She's a a good captain and a good friend Of course I'll be worried, she was supposed to be back two days ago if not yesterday!" he stammered.

Shunsui looked at him for a bit his brown eyes looking at him " You know Jushuro, I know you pretty well!" he said crossing his arms across his chest" And I know when you are lying! How about you tell me everything that is between you and Soifon? I'm not going to be mad or anything I want to help, and maybe we can figure out where she would be at! But I'm sure she is just enjoying her time off." The dark haired man said.

" And she does deserve a long break!" He chuckled if anyone knew the short-tempered hard hard-working captain of the second division wouldn't relax one bit but he figured someone like Soifon would enjoy some time to herself.

Jushiro listened to his friend talk he knew he has a point he knew Soifon did deserve a long vacation but why did he have this feeling that isn't the case, the talk they had the day before Soifon left bothered him but he shook it off as he hear Shunsui ask him again what his relationship with Soifon was letting out a sigh" I guess I can explain it!" he said.
