All across the ship refugees start to cheer as they realize that the countdown has ended.

Celia: Now what do we do?
Luke: First I'm gonna get on the intercom and tell our guests the good news! Then we have to get to Corusaunt...

Scene 113
On Coruscant; Han and Chewie are blasting at stormtroopers as they advance closer to the main entrance way. Behind them are some walkers as well. Han gets on his comlink to check on Wedge.
Han: Wedge! Wedge we need you! Do you copy!
Cut to:
Wedge: Give me just a minute Admiral Solo...
Wedge has a couple T.I.E.s in his sights. He locks onto one with his targeting computer and blasts the ship to pieces! He fires again and blasts the second down too!
Wedge: All groups! We're all clear! Follow me! (To Han) we're on our way Admiral!
Cut to:
Han: Hurry!
Just then C-3PO, Lando, Kippo, and their troops come from behind.
Lando: (To Han) Are we too late to join the action?
Han: Not at all! I thought you all weren't gonna make it to the party!
Lando: Hey! And miss *these* fireworks!?
Han: Let's hope...if Wedge doesn't make it soon, we're goners!
Just then from the other side comes R2 wicket, Admiral Ackbar and some more troops.
C-3PO: Oh R2! Am I ever glad to see you!
R2 beeps and whistles a happy sounding reply.
C-3PO: I was certain you'd get vaporized out there.
R2 beeps something back.
C-3PO: Who told you I lost my head? I seriously don't know where you get these ideas!
Ackbar: (To Han) How can I help Admiral?
Han: Just protect those doors as long as possible.
A large group of stormtroopers approach closer as Han and the rest fire back intensely. Several republic troopers are shot and the walkers get into range of the doors! They take aim and prepare to fire!
Han: Everyone scatter!
Han, Chewie, Lando, Kippo and the rest jump or run out of the way as huge laser beams come and blow the gates to the capital open! The stormtroopers move is and begin to enter past the wrecked doors.
Han: They're starting to get in!
Just then Wedge and several other fighters come and blast the walkers! Several fighters blasts the stormtroopers as well as Han and the rest cheer.
Cut to:
Wedge: Sorry we're late Admiral!
Cut to:
Han: It's all right now! Now reform and prepare for Thrawn's next wave.
Lando: (To Han) What are you going to do?
Han: Leia should have fired that weapon by now...I'm going to check on her.
Lando: We'll go with you.
Cut to:
Scene 114
Leia and Exodus are exchanging blows. As the master panel shows that it has just finished charging. Exodus's and Leia's blades lock as they push each other's sabers into the railing and cut it apart! Leia almost falls in but regains balance. They trade a couple more blows and their blades lock again. Exodus pushes her back.
Leia: You know you could have killed us all when we were your prisoners.
Exodus: Ah but I needed Skywalker's help. I took advantage of your little crisis, and used him to usher us onto a republic stronghold.
Leia: Why?!
Exodus: For a vital peice of a puzzle that you'll never live to see realized. Not the mention the thousands of citizens that filled my fleet! I have no doubt they'll be grateful enough to serve my cause!
Leia looks over at the computer and ponders if she can make a run for it.
Exodus: You wish to fire your little toy don't you?
Leia rushes towards it hoping for the best when Exodus grabs her with the force and lifts her up in front of him. He begins force choking her as she drops her saber!
Exodus: And now I believe it's time we said goodbye to our dear Chancellor!
Leia gasps for air and seems to be slipping away when all of a sudden Han, Chewie, Lando, and R2 come out of the elevator to help. Exodus loses concentration and drops Leia as Lando, Han, and Chewie try to blast him but he blocks the blasts with his saber with one hand and with another hand activates a switch by the elevator that activates the ray shield around the four of them!
Han: NO!!
Lando: He's got us in a ray shield! There's no way out!
Exodus: Now where were we. Ah yes! The death of Chancellor Solo!
Han: Please Exodus! Don't!
Exodus reaches out and is about to force choke Leia again but she quickly gets up and calls her lightsaber to her and strikes at him. He blocks the blow and they strike at eachother a few more times before locking blades again.
Exodus: You are strong my lady...but I grow tired of this.
Exodus pushes her back with his blade and in a surprise move, pulls his saber apart in the middle revealing that they were two sabers joined in the middle by a strong magnet. Now with two blades he attacks Leia twice as hard! She defends fairly well but is not as skilled as he is. In the middle of a series of strikes and counter strikes, Exodus preforms a dazzling display of sword work were he puts his sword together quickly making it one blade and then pulling it apart making it two. He even switches hands with it making it look like the saber is jumping from hand to hand! This makes it very hard for Leia to defend against and after a few strikes, Exodus disarms her saber and causes it to hit the ground! Exodus takes the opportunity and force pushes her against the wall hard as she screams! He then picks her up by his hand and chokes her as Han looks on in horror!
Han: STOP!!!
Chewie growls as well as everyone looks very concerned. Exodus continues to choke Leia as he looks at Han.
Exodus: Is this the power of the light side? Pathetic!
Exodus throws her to the ground and lifts her again with the force and slams her against the wall again. Leia lays there nearly unconscious.
Exodus: That should subdue you my dear...now...let's deal with that weapon of yours...do you know what hurts more then death Chancellor? It's seeing all that gives you hope...die...
Exodus goes over to the computer panel and pushes some kind of override code. Then he speaks into the receiver.
Exodus: Darth Exodus...override... deactivate!
The lights on the machine make a deactivation noise as the lights change from green to red.
Leia: No!!!
Exodus: There! That's much safer! And now before you die your highness...Let's watch your friends die together!
Exodus makes his way over to Han and the rest as Leia tries to move but can't! She does see her lightsaber however and tries to call it. Exodus goes over near the panel that controls the ray shield and with one hand reaches towards it and with another raises his lightsaber in a striking position as if he is about to turn the forcefield off with the force and strike Han and company with the lightsaber all in one swift motion!
Leia calls her saber to her as Exodus turns the ray shield off and uses the force to hold them in place.
Han: Leia!!!
He's just about to strike the petrified heros when Leia tosses her saber in the air at Exodus and ignites it while using the force and spins it around rapidly in mid air! It chops Exodus saber in two as he looks in disbelief!
Exodus: What have you done!?!?
Han: NOW!!!
Han, Chewie, and Lando raise their blasters and begin firing at Exodus! He deflects several hits with his hands but is overwhelmed. Leia forces her self up and calls her saber again and runs towards Exodus but he force pushes everyone down in a big force blast!
Exodus: Stay back you fools!
Exodus gets on the elevator while they struggle to get back up.
Lando: He's getting away!
Leia falls back to the ground as her strength is gone, so instead of following Exodus, Han, Chewie, and Lando decide to help her up.
Leia: Thanks Han...
Han: Now what do we do? Exodus overrid the controls!
