They discover that he and Balinor had links to Nemeth. Agravaine and Morgana plot to kidnap Mithian as well. The resulting adventure turns everything on its head.

This is a fix-it fic to repair this most frustrating and least consistent of all Merlin episodes. Arthur thinks. Merlin hurts. Gwen warms up. Sticks with canon until it can't anymore (due to consistency!) and sends Camelot on a better trajectory. PLENTY of growth, hurt and comfort to go around. Not a reveal.
