In which Asuka is in the right place, at the wrong time. Some things are different, while some things remain the same.

Shinji is failing class and Hikari volunteers to tutor him. What starts as simple instruction turns into more as Hikari gets to know Shinji better... but the closer Hikari gets, the more danger she brings to both of them.

The Hedgehog's Dilemma dictates that despite the intention of a reciprocal relationship, it may not occur for reasons that two individuals cannot avoid. Despite good will, human intimacy cannot occur without substantial mutual harm, and what results is cautious behavior and weak relationships. (Warning: VERY slow fic. Asuka gets brushed off by Rei Ayanami at school. But while she sees it as odd, she does not take the refusal lying down – instead, she concocts a plan and executes it. This is a short, mostly-friendship-with-confused-feelings, lighthearted A/R story. It happens during early days of Asuka's presence, around episodes 9. & 10.

After the Third Impact, Asuka returned to Germany while Shinji remained in New Tokyo-3, each struggling with coming to terms with the trauma they experienced. Years later, after settling into fulfilling careers, the two reconnect when Asuka makes her return to New Tokyo-3 for business.

The Fourth Child was found while most of Nerv was dealing with the Eighth Angel. Said Child has a few discipline problems, very excitable, and now has to be dealt with. Eva/Eiken/Prison School multi-crossover.

During a test with the MAGI connected to a dummy Eva, the nano machine angel Iruel invaded NERV and began to overtake the lifeless bodies. It was smart, adaptable, but in the end defeated. After Yui's disappearance, Gendo tries to abandon Shinji, only for Shinji to be taken in by Naoko and Ritsuko Akagi. Now that Shinji has a mother, what does the future hold for them? A rewrite of the original Maternal Programming.

The world burned in the fires of the second impact, but this time around SEELE isn't the only one who knows the truth. The angels aren't NERV's biggest threat. Mankind will live on, no matter how many will have to die to make it so. No matter what has to be done. And our cast? They find themselves pawns in a war they didn't sign up for.

After an argument leads to Shinji hurting Asuka by shoving her…she finds out that she actually likes it…

Fifteen years after Second Impact, Japan faces its deepest conflict. NERV, its newest militaristic organization, drafts young soldiers at the age of 14 to combat the mysterious organization SEELE and their super soldiers; the Angels. Shinji Ikari is taken from his mundane existence back home and is confronted with the horrors of war as he learns to come to terms with his existence.

Shinji takes just the slightest different action when Asuka offers a kiss... and everything changes. Suddenly, they're no longer alone, and begin becoming stronger than they've ever been before. And from their new bond changes start to ripple out. The Angel War and the plans of SEELE and NERV will never be the same.
