Chapter 23: An Old Times Spar Session

Both Jun and Keiya are present to see both Jin and Rhima are all right after her escape from Kazuya's captivity. Jin looked at Rhima who is still asleep because he couldn't think if Keiya is really her other uncle who had guided her and since he is also half-Japanese just like Lars.

"Can you say something, my son? You look confused after seeing Keiya-san." Jun wondered until Jin barely spills in Filipino language.

"Ikaw tito ni Rhima? Pakiusap? (Are you Rhima's uncle? I want to know?)"

"Marunong ka rin mag Tagalog? (You know how to speak Tagalog?)" Keiya replies as he speaks his native Filipino language and Jin responds by giving him a right little inch between both his index finger and thumb, meaning he learns a little Filipino language when Rhima teaches him during his stay in the real world and much to Jun's surprise and shock as she put both of her hands on her mouth.

"Jin, how did you speak different language?"

"The truth is, mother... that was six months ago. I mastered the English language when I stayed in two years in Brisbane, Australia while mastering Kyokushin Karate. But when I spend my everyday life in Rhima's world, I've barely learn how to speak their native language in Filipino." Jin answered to his mother's question.

"It's okay, Jin. You can freely speak in your language because I was like this when I tried studying Japanese language in Japan." Keiya smiled and convinces him that he can speak what he wants in his language.

"But why are you two doing here? Me and Rhima are waiting for uncle Lars and the others to be fetched here."

"Kazuya-san is already made his move to recapture Rhima-san. Remember what you had faced when he cause a bloody carnage all over the world." Jun warns her son about Kazuya's plan to recapture Rhima.

Jin remembers about how Kazuya had ordered many Jack-7 robots during his bloody carnage to the world while Nina and Jack-8 are leading the invasion. This is also the reason why he sided with Lars and the others to fight them off to save the world.

"Rhima-san had never known about that invasion, mother. She just arrived here and... she already wants to know more about what happened to all of us back then." Jin said telling his mother that Rhima does not know the whole plot incident. "Only I just told her about how Kazuya and I we had fought in a bloody brawl until I lost from him from getting overpowered."

"..."

"It looks like Kazuya had taken over a lot of companies and that includes the Mishima Zaibatsu where there's no leader to take over the company." Keiya said confirming of what Kazuya had done here in their world and soon tells Jin to look after Rhima while they are waiting for Lars and the others to fetch them. "You must look after Rhima while waiting for Lars to fetch you."

"Yeah. I'll look after her."

"Jin, you need to retrain Rhima-san. Just in case if Kazuya would have sent these Jack robots again to get her." Jun said convincing her son to retrain Rhima to fight again in case if Kazuya would send the Jack robots which he calmly nods.

"I would make appearances to protect the both of you."

Both Keiya and Jun disappears in flashes of light as Keiya himself turns back into a strange device and Jin takes it. He sits on the bed while looking at Rhima who is still asleep as he thought while looking at the strange device and the instrumental version of "More Days with You" has been played.

I have to train you again, Rhima-san. Not just how you and Claudio had spar together to see that you are ready to fight against us with devil's blood even the American Wing Chun master tries to test your Wing Chun skills. I just told you a little of what is happening here and now I must tell you more about this whole incident happened to us here at my world. I also wanted to spend more days with you while you're here in my world.

In the wee hours of the night, Kazuya appears in his sleepwear after ordering both Nina and Jack-8 to find Rhima's whereabouts. He open his large walking closet to see his wide collection of sneakers. On his thoughts about how to taunt Hunyo again.

At least I had a collection of sneakers. Hmmm, I guess Hunyo doesn't have any collection stuff from his youth.

The next day, Rhima was done taking the shower and wearing her white long sleeve shirt and her blue gray jeans. She noticed both of Jin's black double-layered jacket and his light gray shirt are still on the bed. As she gets out of the summer cabin, she saw the beautiful sunlight to give the coffee fields a healthy grow until she had seen a huge back and thick nape from a bare muscular figure who stretches his muscles while he wears only both the black pants and boots as well as the two white straps on the right where he is equipped in his left one while wearing his white gauntlets over with red fabric and black gloves. She was curiously asking of who he was.

"Excuse me, I think you left your jacket and shirt on the cabin?"

The bare muscular figure turns out to be Jin as he looked at Rhima while teasing her in a smirk.

"Why Rhima-chan? You don't know it was me trying to warm up to flex my muscles."

Rhima became blushed over his shirtless appearance while angrily reacted due to her cheeks are rosier to see his muscular figure.

"Can't you at least not to show off like that? It's like you were taking gym sessions for more than hours."

"Don't try to be sensitive, Rhima-san. I was asked by my mother and your other uncle to look after you." Jin said with a deep tone of his voice and he became serious to face her. "I guess both the Wing Chun master and Claudio are lucky enough to test your fighting skills. Just like old times when I forcibly taught you how to fight."

"Not you too..." Rhima commented knowing that he wants her to train again and Jin seriously responds to her comments.

"Don't try to be stick in the mud, Rhima-san. I'm serious because not just the soldiers we had fought back there to protect you. I'm gonna retrain you again because we're gonna fight a lot of Jack robots."

"Jack robots?"

"I'm gonna tell you a little bit of what happened here too. The Jack robots are mainly responsible for the world invasion here in my world and both Nina and Jack-8 are leading with them to cause more war damage. The Jack robots I meant about are Jack-7." Jin said telling her about the same incident happened to them.

Rhima eventually realized that Jack-7 is also present. She thought that Jack-7 is just the only one Jack when she plays the seventh game but since she realized they are mass produced to create super soldiers for the war invasion that Kazuya made on the new eighth game.

"Rhima-san... while we waited for Lars to fetch us. I'm going to spar with you to see if you're ready to face a lot of difficult battles. It's not going to be easy." Jin said convincing Rhima to spar with him as he goes on his fighting stance while he taunts her. "Just think of me as my father Kazuya if he tried to fight you."

Rhima sighs because she was their main target for their cause and knowing that Kazuya would even wanted to fight her as she goes in her fighting stance as she tells him.

"You left me with no choice but to spar with you. My dad always wanted me as his sparring partner on his spare time."

With the song "Euro 2005" has been played, both exchanging their blows and Rhima knows that Jin became much stronger than the last time. Jin executes his 893P which happens to be his Heat Burst. Rhima blocks it while sensing his powerful prowess.

"You put yourself in a Heat state?"

"Just like last night, I showed my new moves to you. I think I might get overwhelm you first." Jin smirked and he tried to knock her with his Awakened Power Stance which he trips her with his Spinning Demon.

Rhima noticed his eyes are glowing in red while he's in that state. They continue to exchange their blows as Jin's Heat finally wore off. Azucena arrives in a different outfit to prepare her leave in Italy later afternoon and to her surprise, both of them are sparring together. She was excitedly decided to bring them some breakfast and coffee and darts off.

"Seems like you keep using your devil powers whenever you execute a lot of your moves." Rhima taunts him about how he executed his moves when using his devil powers only for Jin to scold her.

"Don't predict about how I'm using my devil powers on you. I'm not like you who is very smart enough to know what I'm capable of. I do this because it's for your own good. If he tried to fight you like I did to you now, I knew you can."

Rhima finally displays her powers in a shades of blue aura, thanks to Claudio's teachings and knowing that it was her mind and intelligence is the root cause of unleashing her powers. Jin sees her power and soon demonstrates his devil powers by forming devil markings on his forehead and a one red and black shadowed wing appear at the right side of his back. With this, both eventually clashes with both of their fists as it flashes in white.

At the real world, Hunyo was waiting for his companions outside of the hotel and was swept by strong winds, sensing their powerful force as he thought.

I got swept by strong winds? Is it from a powerful force?

After the match, Jin remains standing and was revealed to have won by beating Rhima in a sparring match and Rhima was on the ground in exhaustion.

"I tried so hard to beat you..."

"Don't say that, Rhima-san..." Jin said and finally sits down in exhaustion, knowing she had almost beat him. "You almost got me back there."

Rhima quickly gets up and to see him tired and exhausted and tells him.

"But you beat me fair and square, Jin."

"I can't forget what you did to me before. You almost broke my teeth from your strong punches after I almost killed you by my Rage Art to forcibly expose your male disguise." Jin complained about Rhima's strong punches to make her laugh over his complain. "I was just trying to enlighten you, that's all."

Rhima smiles at him since he just tried to enlighten the mood and he stands up to get close to her while he kneels and grabs both of her hands.

"Rhima, I already found the right place to finish your mission. It was either in Claudio's territory or in my home island at Yakushima. That way, we can't be trace by any Jack robots to get you."

"..."

"Rhima, I wanted to spend more days with you while you're here at my world. I do this because I still have feelings with you. Ever since we got separated, I felt so broken and I always missed you. Bothering you living at your world, is my own mistake." Jin said finally admits that he still have feelings for her and Rhima understands him until Azucena arrives to see them.

"Hey two lovebirds! I brought some two clubhouse deluxe and my signature coffee!"

Rhima knows how touchable Jin is to her, she quickly pushes his hands away comically while the back of his hands lands on his chest, hurting him, as if nothing happens between them and apologize.

"Sorry, Azucena... Jin and I were not a couple of some sort."

Azucena smiles after finally served their breakfast and she waved goodbye to them and leave. Jin clutches his chest after getting hit from the metallic studs of his white gauntlets after Rhima pushes both of his hands away.

"Oww... Rhima-san." Jin said while clutching his chest and Rhima gives him a clubhouse deluxe while apologizing for pushing him as she whispers in a apologetic manner.

"Sorry for the push, I don't want if other people would see us getting close."

"Oh okay... and thanks for the sandwich. I'm hungry..." Jin whispered in retort and finally eats the sandwich.

Three hours later, Rhima receives a call from her uncle Roderick as the voice turns out to be Lars who borrows Roderick's cellphone.

"Lars... did you finally detect us? I already put my GPS."

"Yeah... we had found you and Jin at the outskirts of Duomo di Sirio. We're on our way. And Rhima, we can't go back to the rebel base right now. We're going to the United Nations and I managed to contact Raven last night to see us there."

"All right..." Rhima said before hanging up as Jin fixes his gauntlets after he finally put his jacket and shirt back on.

"Is that Lars?"

"Yes... they're on the way to fetch us." Rhima said confirming about Lars and tells Jin. "Looks like he's been in contact with Raven and the UN. How come that be?"

"His rebel group and the UN are teaming up to stop Kazuya back then. That is where Kazuya had started his bloody carnage after seeing the UN are finally decided to take an opposition against him." Jin explained to her and decided to leave the cabin. "We need to go."

Rhima nods to go with him and they leave the summer cabin after spending a night.

Back at the rebel base, Xiaoyu and Asuka arrive just in time to find Jin since he's been sided with Lars.

"Man, it's full of tanks... where are they?"

"Kinda reminds me of what happened when these robots begins to attack me at the Yakushima Island to find Jin." Xiaoyu said remembering the times of how she had fought all of the Jack-7 robots as Hwoarang arrives to see them.

"If you wanna find Kazama, he's with the rebel leader looking for Rhima's whereabouts."

"Hwoarang!"

"Hey, sucker! I know you hang out with Rhima somewhere." Asuka said trying to point index finger over Hwoarang which he shrugs.

"Don't get too pissy, I rescued Rhima from that bloody asshole when she had left me and Jin when we fought."

"Hwoarang... I wanted to apologize to Jin about my awful behavior. Do you know where he is?" Xiaoyu asked Hwoarang where Jin is which he sighs while shaking his head.

"I don't think it's not Kazama, Xiaoyu. You better apologize to Rhima since you fought her personally because of your liking to him and that leads to her capture by their enemies like those Jack-7's."

"You mean that Rhima person..." Xiaoyu ponders about his word as Hwoarang sneers at her.

"Do you know why Kazama likes Rhima more than you? This is your lacking. Rhima is more rational to anybody else even in her everyday life and this is why I learned a lot from her when we stayed at their world."

Asuka listens to Hwoarang's lecture to Xiaoyu until a siamese cat showing off to see them.

"That cat?"

"Oh Salt! There you are!" Emilie de Rochefort appears to find her pet siamese cat Salt and noticed her rival Asuka was with both Xiaoyu and Hwoarang. "What a pleasant surprise, Asuka Kazama! You even brought those two with you."

"Not you again... I was only accompany Xiaoyu for my relative search." Asuka reacted angrily over their brief reunion and Lili offers them.

"If you want to find that certain person, my private jet can take you in."

Leroy also appears to see them and became an acquaintance to Lili due to them as pet lovers.

"We need to join forces to protect the young lady from that trash's hands. Which is why the rebels are going to the United Nations for her protection."

"Okay, rich brat... we're going to UN to find Kazama and the rebel leader. At least, Xiaoyu, Asuka and the old dreadlock geezer is here." Hwoarang convinces Lili to borrow their private jet to find Jin and Lars which Lili accepts.

"Sure, be my guest."

Trivia:

*The way Jin speaks barely in Filipino language is based on Japanese actor and comedian Jacky Woo who is known to play the main villain on Filipino comedy films such as Iskul Bukol: The Ungasis and Escaleras Adventure 21 years later and Beauty and the Bestie.

*Kazuya reveals his wide collection of sneakers which was also seen from the release trailer.

*Jin fights in shirtless while wearing his gauntlets, pants and boots from his main outfit in Tekken 8 where he and his Kazuya had fought without the top of their outfits during the release trailer.

*Raven was mentioned by Lars during this chapter and he was revealed to be the one who spoke to him on his phone in Chapter 21. This is due to his playable appearance in the game.

*Emilie de Rochefort makes an appearance for this chapter since Xiaoyu, Hwoarang, Asuka and Leroy had decided to travel in UN using her private jet from her family.
