Or heck, maybe you can give me an idea for the story as to what you want for the future as I am more than up to the challenge of giving you guys what you want. But for now, I'm going to concentrate on Chapter Five. So, let's get to it my dear readers.
Chapter Five
He decided to go downstairs after all, to bring the plate that their snack was on downstairs so that it wasn't up here; so that the dogs couldn't get at it and make a mess of their clean carpet when they have an adorable son whom they want to keep healthy. And lucky for him, there was nobody down there other than him this time around; and that meant that the didn't need to wear a shirt (he didn't anyways per his beautiful fiancé's request as she wanted to watch him walk around in his boxers). Yes, you heard that right; she wanted to see him walk around his boxers, when she wasn't even downstairs with him. And that was the exact question that Matt posed to her when she told him that was what she wanted, yet he still agreed to do it (taking the risk of running into Anna and Jessica) because Alex wanted to see him walk around their room in his boxers, which is precisely what he's in the midst of doing right now as he walked in to see Alex looking all sexy and comfortable in their bed as expected. "Someone looks comfortable there in bed."
Smiling as she turned her head away from Noah to look at her beautiful fiancé, Alex smiled due to the fact that he was such a hunk. And even better, he was walking around the house exactly like she wanted him to; especially as he made his way over to her and Noah as he wanted to check on both her and their little guy. "Did this little guy wake up?" Alex shook her head as he didn't wake up whatsoever. "No, he stayed asleep and didn't even realize that his daddy was gone; but I did, and I am so glad that he's back, especially after how he just walked into our room and pleased me." Matt smiled as he heard Alex say that before sitting down on the edge of their bed to look down at their son, their beautiful baby boy Noah Matthew Casey; the son who truly was his dream come true, as he's wanted to be a father. But what he never knew was that there was an asterisk to that dream of his, as he didn't just want to be a father; he wanted to be a father with Alex, and only Alex being the beautiful mother of his children. And that's the plan for the future.
He just doesn't know whether they're going to do it with a surrogate again, or whether Alex will get pregnant this time around; not that he cares as they aren't thinking about that right now, as they aren't ready to even think about a second (or third child). But yes, Matt wants to have a big family with at least three children; something that Alex wants as well, with Matt as the father of said children. Still, Alex did decide to mention one of her wishes. "I think next time around, I wouldn't mind being pregnant." Turning his head as he reached for Alex's hand, Matt smiled as he was actually just thinking of that. "Funny enough, I was just thinking of that." Intertwining their fingers, Matt smiled at his beautiful fiancé while making her think that he was going to lean in and kiss her; but the reality was that his attention was going to be staying on Noah right now, as he wanted to look at his adorable son. "I swear, he is just so adorable, and I am so glad that we finally have the family we've always dreamed of." Alex agreed with Matt, smiling at her man.
After all, she felt the same way; as she was thrilled to finally be the mother of Matt's children, a title that she will hold for the rest of her life. "I think we made the right decision to use Jessica for our first child." Matt smiled as he heard Alex say that, while letting go of her hand and moving it to her neck; he then leaned over her and smiled as he proceeded to kiss the woman he loves. "I love the sound of that. Our first child, meaning there are more down the line." Alex was a bit confused as she heard Matt say that, as he should know for a fact that she doesn't just want to have one baby. She wants to have a couple children with him. "Did you really think that I would ever just want to have one child with you Matt?" Matt shook his head, as that most certainly isn't the case. "No, I just didn't want to get into this conversation yet. I mean, we have other stuff to talk about today, which we are going to get to when I'm back in bed." Alex agreed with Matt, as that was the truth; they were going to talk about a bunch of things today, maybe even their wedding.
And while she does know they said that they would wait to talk about it, she can't help but want to talk about it a bit. "Might that even include our wedding?" Matt smiled as he heard Alex say that. "We can talk about it if you want. I just…I thought we'd wait a bit." Alex sighed. "Can we talk about why I want to really start talking now? Maybe we can get onto the same page. I know that things have been crazy with us having just gotten back together a few weeks ago. Then, we went right from dating to engaged and parents. I just think that…" Matt agreed with Alex as he placed his hand on the side of her head, stroking her cheek with his thumb as he could already see what this was doing to her. This was already causing her stress, which is the last thing that he wants the woman he loves to deal with when they have a newborn; regardless of whether she gave birth to said child or not. He wants her to relax as they enjoy the start of this new life that they're starting with each other. So much so, that he decided to grab her water bottle for her.
The water bottle that she always had on her side table, and which she clearly needed to take a sip out of right now. "Here, just take a sip of water and relax for me babe." Seeing Matt hold out her bottle of water, Alex agreed as she grabbed it before going to take a sip like he asked her to do; which most certainly did help her to calm down as it made her concentrate on the task at hand, which was her taking a sip of her water as she sat in their bed…while at the same time, trying not to spill as she didn't want to have a wet bed as she laid down and cuddled up to the man she loves in it. And thankfully, that didn't happen. Rather, things went according to plan; and she finished taking a sip of water, without spilling any water on their bed. "Better?" Alex agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was feeling better, which was another way for him to ask her whether she was relaxed; and luckily, she was relaxed now. She was all relaxed and ready to take it easy as the man she loves holds her close in the comfort of their bed today. "Much better." Matt agreed.
He then grabbed her water bottle for her, closing it on her behalf before sitting it down on her table; that way he knew that it wasn't going to go anywhere other than there. Just like Alex knew that Matt wasn't going anywhere other than getting in bed with her, which is precisely what she wants the man she loves to do; she wants him to get in bed and cuddle up to her as they relax and take it easy with each other…while also talking about their wedding, she hopes at least. "So, are we going to talk about our wedding? Or would you rather we just lay down and watch TV?" Matt smiled as he looked at Alex. "I want to talk about our wedding, as that's a day that I'm already excited for." Alex was surprised as she heard Matt say that, as normally it was the wife who was the most excited for the big day. "Now that's something that surprises me, as it's normally the bride who is the most excited for the wedding." Matt shook his head. "Not this time, as I am excited to finally make you my official Ms. Casey." Alex smiled, loving the sound of that name.
After all, that was what she wanted to be; she wanted to be the Ms. to his Mr. Casey, his wife. That's something that she's dreamed about since they started dating, even if it was in secret. "Honestly, I have been waiting to hear you say that since we started dating; even if we were only dating behind the scenes and nobody but a few close family and friends knew about us." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, smirking as he went to open the covers. "Slip over, I want to get in and be close to both you and Noah as we talk about this." Alex agreed with Matt, as that was something that she wanted to do as well. "Good, because I want that as well. However, I also want to talk about everything that we said that we were going to talk about; up to and including everything that comes to our mind. I want to be here for you babe, now and for the rest of our lives." Matt agreed with Alex, as that was something that he plans on having for the rest of his life; her by his side as they raise their family together as husband and wife. But right now, he wants to cuddle.
He wants to get in bed with his future wife and hold her close to him, as they have this nice conversation that they plan on having with each other. "Ok. We'll talk about all of that and more. Just let me get in bed, you can lay down on my chest, then we'll start talking." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, as that was precisely what she wanted too. "Good, because that's precisely what I want." Matt agreed with his beautiful fiancé, smirking as he got up and proceeded to climb into bed with the woman he can't wait to marry.
Laying down on his back shortly after climbing into bed with the woman he loves, Matt smiled as he looked at Alex while watching her get up off the mattress and crawl over to him; precisely what she just told him she wanted to do as they cuddled up to each other in bed. But if she wanted to cuddle up to him, then she was going to have to do something for him; and that would be to get on top of him and lay down on his chest (which is precisely what Alex is in the midst of doing right now). She's moving to get on top of her man so that they can cuddle up to each other, as they relax and just hold each other close. I mean, what more could a woman ask for than the life that she has now with the man of her dreams; the man she's always wanted to be in an official relationship with. And now, not only is she in an official relationship with said man; but she's also his future wife as they are engaged to be married, something that truly puts a smile on her face every time that she looks at the hand (where she proudly wears her 2-carat diamond engagement ring).
Yes, Matt went all out for her engagement ring, getting her a 2-carat heart-shaped diamond engagement ring; something that she told her best friend that she wanted and later got thanks to her. She just knows it already, as there was no way that Matt was able to find the right ring on his own. He didn't have as much time to do it, yet he somehow found the time to do it with her best friend; and that's something that she will always be grateful for whenever she cuddles up to her man as she is at the moment. Meanwhile, Matt was in the midst of doing something else that she loves, which would be for him to tug the covers up on top of the both of them in the most delicate way possible to make her comfortable, which she most certainly is simply due to the fact that she's currently all cuddled up to the man of her dreams, her future husband, and the father of her child. "God, now this is the life." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, smiling as he put his hand on her back and then ran his fingers up and down her topless body. "Thanks for the no shirt."
Alex agreed with Matt, though it wasn't just for him. "I wanted it too. I wanted to cuddle up to you like this, as it's very comfortable." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case as he turned his head and pressed his lips against her forehead. "That it most certainly is my future Ms. Casey." Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that, as that most certainly is her future title. She is the future Ms. Casey and the only woman who will ever hold that title, a fact of which she's very proud of. "I really like that title, the future Ms. Matthew Casey." Matt smiled as Alex said that, as that was the truth; she's the one and only future Ms. Matthew Casey, his future wife. But right now, they were going to talk about that. "So, listen, you want to talk about that? The fact that you're the future Ms. Casey, and the ceremony that needs to take place so that you can become that officially and legally?" Alex agreed with Matt, as she most certainly did want to talk about their future nuptials. The day where she will become his until death do them part.
Because if there's one more thing that she knows, it's that they're going to be the couple that makes it until then; they are going to be married for the rest of their lives. She can't explain how, but she can just feel in in her bones that's how long the both of them are going to be married. Until the end of their lives, when they die in each other's arms with their many children around them. "I can't wait for that day to happy." Matt agreed with Alex as he stroked her back with his thumb, while also turning his head and kissing the top of her head. "So, do you have any ideas for when you want that ceremony to take place?" Smiling as Matt asked her that question, Alex smirked. "Well, I know that we at least need to wait a year before we get married." Matt truly was shocked as he heard Alex tell him that she wants to wait a year before they get married. "A year?" Alex smiled as she laid her head down on Matt's heart to listen to his heartbeat, while also turning her head and looking at their little boy who was fast asleep in his crib located right next to their bed.
After all, he was the reason why she wanted to wait a year before they get married. "Well, maybe. I was just thinking how adorable it'd be to have Noah be our ring bearer." Matt smiled as he heard Alex say that, while looking at Noah too as he slept in his crib; god, the idea of him being their ring bearer is just so damn adorable. "I think I would really like that, or I can carry him down the aisle; I mean, I would probably keep the wedding ring in my pocket anyways to keep it safe." Alex agreed with her future husband as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Just like you kept my bikini in your swim trunks when we made love to each other in the ocean, while we were on our babymoon vacation in Hawaii on my birthday." Matt smirked. "I still regret not proposing to you then when we were alone after the photoshoot, it would've been incredible had I done it on the beach." Alex agreed with Matt, well aware that was the case as she bent down and kissed his chest. "I know baby, but your proposal yesterday in the hospital when Jess gave birth was beautiful."
Matt smirked as he heard Alex say that, before thinking back to what he said. "God, what did I say again? Was it something like I regret not doing this sooner, and I wish you were the one giving birth; but I said something like I'll never be ashamed of having cheated on Hallie because you're the real love of my life, and the woman I want to be married to. Then I got down on one knee and proposed?" Alex agreed with Matt, as that was the gist of what he said to her when he proposed at the hospital yesterday. But at the end of the day, she was more than happy in the way that things turned out. "The truth was, I'm not sure if I would've been happy if I was pregnant this time around." Matt was surprised as he heard Alex say that, before turning his head and looking at his future wife. "What?" Alex sighed as she looked up at the man of her dreams. "Can I explain myself before you get all mad?" Matt agreed with Alex, as she most certainly could; but to do so, she decided to roll over onto her side. An action that Matt soon did as well.
Rolling over onto his side just like Alex just did, Matt smiled as he got close to the woman he loves before bringing her body against his chest just like it was but this time, they were facing each other which allowed him to stare into her eyes. And damn was that Matt's favorite thing to do. He absolutely loves staring into Alex's eyes, while also having his arm wrapped around her back and his hand on the back of her head/neck, which is precisely how he's in the midst of holding Alex in his arms at the moment. He has her right against his chest, with his arm around her body and his hand on the back of her head. And even better, he knows that Alex loves this feeling as well as she started to kiss him softly the moment he hold her in his arms this way. "God, now this is my favorite way to be hold by you." Matt agreed with Alex as she told him that, well aware that was the case as he took things nice and slow with her in the exact manner in which he wanted her to. He wanted her to take things slow with her, and that's what he's doing right now.
He's doing it both because he wants to, and because Alex wants him to; but most of all, he's doing it as it's the easiest way for him to show the woman of his dreams that he loves her more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Alex agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her, which is something that she most certainly does know. She knows that he loves her, because of how much he's told her and the way that he acts around her. "I know you do, and I am so glad that this is the life that we finally have with each other. But now, you can take it easy and just relax." Matt agreed with Alex, before leaning in and kissing her again. "So, listen, you said that you were going to explain why you wouldn't have been happy to be pregnant this time around with Noah?" Alex sighed, as she knew that she was probably really confusing Matt at the moment. "I know you're probably quite confused as to what I'm trying to say." Matt agreed with Alex as that was exactly how he was feeling at the moment, while also feeling blindsided over this confession.
I mean, wouldn't she have liked to be pregnant with their son if she had a chance to go back? "Alex, I am just confused. I mean, I am not at all thinking that you aren't happy to have Noah in our lives; that's something that I already know you love. But what I am confused about is why you wouldn't go back and chance anything when it comes to whether you getting pregnant rather than us using Jessica. I mean, don't you want that?" Alex sighed as she cuddled up to Matt. "Babe, please listen to me and let me explain." Matt agreed with Alex, letting her do just that for him. "Matt, I love you and I would've always wanted to be pregnant with Noah. But at the time, we were still sneaking around and just…it would've been hard to be pregnant without you by my side. I would've wanted you to be there for the milestones, like the first kick and everything. If I had to feel that by myself…" Matt just agreed with Alex, before moving closer to his future wife and cuddling up to her to give her exactly what she wants right now. His strong arms around her.
It's both what she needs, as well as what she wants when it comes to the comfort that he can give her. "I'm sorry baby. Why didn't you tell me you felt that way?" Alex just took a breath as she wrapped her arms around the man she loves as she held him close. .After which, she leaned back and stared into his eyes. "I didn't want to make you feel guilty for not having ended your engagement before we had a baby." Moving his hand to the side of Alex's face, Matt sighed as he felt his heart break after hearing that; especially since that's exactly how he feels. And now, he needs to tell the woman he loves more than anything that it's how he feels. "Unfortunately, baby, I feel that way already. I hate that I didn't end things with Hallie much sooner as I would much rather be with you than anybody else in the entire world." Alex agreed with Matt as he told her that, before leaning in and kissing the man she loves as they held each other here in the comfort of their bed. And when she says comfort of their bed, she truly means comfort.
And that's due to the fact that she's very comfortable right now. Comfortable as she cuddled up to the man of her dreams, and her future husband; the man she never plans on letting go under the day she dies, which means that he's stuck with her. "I hope you know that you're stuck with me babe as I am not going to be letting you go anytime soon." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I already know that babe. And that's why we need to get back to talking about this timeline. The timeline that we want to follow for the wedding. Are you up to that? Us talking about our future wedding?" Leaning back, Alex smiled as she was more than ready to talk about their future wedding as it was something that she was more than ready to plan. "Are you kidding me? Of course, I'm ready Matt. I want to talk about the day where I make you mine forever. But we also need to talk about a timeline." Matt agreed with Alex. "So, we need to talk about the main question that we both have on our mind right now."
Alex agreed with Matt, but she didn't know the question exactly; so she asked him to tell her the question again. "Which would be…" Matt smiled, before reminding his future wife just what question he was talking about. "What type of ring bearer Noah's going to be. Is he going to be a ring bearer who walks down the aisle? Or is he going to be one who gets carried down the aisle by his daddy?"
