Part 1

In front of the entire room, two girls were standing. According to what their teacher had told them, they were both transfer students.

Their names were Sawa Yamauchi and Tokisaki Kurumi.

The first had brown hair, tied in three braids, and red eyes. The second had black hair tied in two pigtails of the same length; her right eye was a deep crimson color, while her left eye was covered by a fringe.

—It's nice to meet you all. —Sawa greeted as he smiled.

—I hope we can get along well in the future. —Kurumi completed what her friend said.

After watching them introduce themselves, the whole class was spellbound by the beauty of the two girls, except for two students; a boy named Itsuka Shido and his best friend, Tobiichi Origami.

—I never imagined we would have new classmates, Itsuka-kun. —Said Origami as she looked at him. —I hope we can get along well with them.

After listening to her, Shido sighed and closed his eyes in defeat. He also wanted to be just as optimistic as Origami, but currently his reputation at school was the worst. Not because of his grades or behavior, but because of various incidents that occurred with the trio of Ai Yamabuki, Mai Hazaruka and Mii Fujibakama.

—Yeah... I hope so, Origami.

[Clap]

Suddenly, there was a soft clapping sound that caught everyone's attention. The one in charge of causing that sound was Tamae Okamine, the teacher in charge of the course, who was standing next to both girls.

—Ok, thank you for your presentations! —After thanking them, she looked around the room and pointed to two seats. —Well then, Tokisaki-san, Yamauchi-san, could you go sit in those empty seats over there?

—Ah, sure Sensei. But first... Could we ask a favor?

Sawa was the one who answered. Kurumi just looked at her new companions, focusing her attention on two, an albino and a blue-haired boy.

—Hm? What is it, Yamauchi-san? If it's something important, go ahead.

After getting permission from his teacher, Sawa turned around and gave a friendly smile to the whole class.

—You see, because of the transfer, we're still unfamiliar with the school. It's okay, even if it's after school, but I wish someone could take us on a tour of the school.

—Oh, right. That's true, Yamauchi-san. Then... the class representative will show you around the school.

After saying those words, Origami tilted her head towards Shido, he looked back at her and nodded. Origami smiled at him and got up from her place and went to her teacher, accompanied by her two new classmates.

Once she was in front of them, she bowed a little and introduced herself.

—My name is Tobiichi Origami. I'm the class representative, I hope we can get along well, Tokisaki-san, Yamauchi-san.

Part 2

School had ended an hour ago and just as promised, Origami was showing Kurumi and Sawa around the school, although... there was a small detail in all that, Shido was accompanying them.

It was already quite common for Shido and Origami to be together. Even the students of the school itself had spread rumors that they were boyfriend and girlfriend, but when someone asked them, they both said that they were just very good friends, which no one believed.

—Itsuka-san... Do you have feelings for Origami-san?

Sawa was the one in charge of asking that question. They had been going around the school together for a long time already. Origami and Shido kept asking them questions, which seemed unfair to Sawa and Kurumi, so they decided to come up with a plan to have some fun.

When Shido heard the question, he stopped in his tracks and was embarrassed, it was totally unexpected from his new classmate.

—H-hah? D-don't you think it's a very sudden question, Yamauchi-san?

—Well, if you feel too uncomfortable, you don't need to answer, Itsuka-san.

Once he finished speaking. Sawa gave a small smile.

When he heard it, Shido sighed in relief. He was lucky that Sawa didn't press the question, at least he respected his decision, unlike most of his companions who asked him the same question.

—Thank you for not insisting, Yamau...

Before he could finish thanking him, a voice very familiar to Shido was heard a few inches away from where he stood.

—I-I w-w-with I-Itsuka-kun? T-that's n-that's not possible, K-Kurumi-san. W-we're just friends.

Shido heard her friend's voice and looked over, encountering a rather strange scene. Origami was covering her completely red face with both hands, while Kurumi was subtly laughing by covering her mouth with one of her hands.

Thanks to that, Shido was able to find out what they both planned during the tour of the school.

—Hey... —Shido said loudly, drawing Kurumi and Sawa's attention. —Was it necessary to ask us that question?

—Ara~Ara, it seems that Shidou-san took our little joke badly.

After saying that, Kurumi walked towards the boy flirtatiously. Shido was surprised to see the way she approached, it was too weird.

—T-Tokisaki-san? W-why are you approaching in such a strange way?

Shido swallowed as he tried to ask her why she was acting so strange, but unfortunately he couldn't get any answer from the girl.

When Kurumi was a step away, a voice interrupted the moment.

—Kurumi-san... I think you shouldn't play that way with Itsuka-san. —Sawa observed the aforementioned, who avoided making eye contact with Kurumi. —You seem to be making him quite uncomfortable.

Hearing what Sawa said, Kurumi stopped walking and looked at her friend with a sad face.

—Mou... You're really boring, Sawa-san. —Kurumi complained as she placed a finger in front of her face. —I just wanted to see how Shidou-san would react in that kind of situation.

[TAP, TAP, TAP, TAP, TAP]

As Kurumi finished speaking, footsteps were heard near them, which caught everyone's attention, including Origami's, who was barely recovering from what had just happened.

Curious to know who it was, they turned to their left, waiting patiently for her arrival. After a few seconds, a girl, apparently fourteen years old, with long blue hair tied in a ponytail with some fringes on both sides of her face, brown eyes and a mole under her left eye, arrived on the scene.

Shido and Origami looked at her, thinking that she was just another student of the school, but when they saw that she wasn't wearing the Raizen High School uniform, they doubted.

On the other hand, Sawa and Kurumi were surprised to see her, they knew who she was, it wasn't the first time they met her.

Kurumi pulled herself together from her astonishment and gave a confident smile.

—Ara~Ara, I thought it would take you longer to find us Mana-san.

Sawa was startled after what her friend said. Before they enrolled in school, they promised not to say anything related to their powers or their enemies. She was about to complain about what she had done, but when she saw what was happening to the girl in front of her, she preferred to keep her complaints to herself.

The girl was staring at a single person, ignoring everyone around her, yes, the only one she was staring at was the boy in the group, Shido Itsuka.

—Nii... sama...

That was the only word that came out of the stranger's mouth, and then she grabbed her head with her right hand and consecutively lost her balance on her legs and fell to the ground unconscious.

Origami momentarily ignored what Mana said and ran to her aid, while Kurumi and Sawa were confused by her words, if they were serious about what she said, Shido was... Her older brother?

Shido didn't move from the place, he didn't understand what was happening, that girl had arrived and the first thing she did was to call him as if she was his little sister.

—Did she call me...? Nii-sama?

Sawa Yamauchi, friend of Tokisaki Kurumi, a girl destined to die at the hands of her best friend. All because the spirit of origin gave her the sephira crystal of Camael and because she was not compatible with it, she fell into madness and shortly after died at the hands of Kurumi.

In this world, the spirit of origin gave the sephira crystal of Camael to other people before meeting Sawa, that event, even if it was minimal, affected the stormy future that awaited Sawa.

The day came... The first spirit took Sawa to the rooftop of a building and offered him Camael's sephira crystal, telling him that with this power he could help people.

Sawa hesitated for a few seconds, but remembering what Kurumi was doing made him lose that doubt. If she could help people alongside her friend, she wouldn't hesitate to accept it.

Once the crystal entered her body, she felt an intense burning inside her, it was as if she was in hell itself and if that wasn't enough, she was starting to lose her mind, she couldn't think clearly, she felt like she was going to die.

Suddenly, he began to levitate, he was no longer aware of what was happening around him, everything was confusing, he thought he had died; accepting that power had been his worst mistake.

The last thing he could hear were the sounds of four gunshots accompanied by a stabbing pain in his abdomen and head, and then everything went dark.

That could have been his end, or rather, it was in the story we all know; however, in this world it did not happen that way.

A few seconds later, he felt a burning sensation again, although, this time it was different, it was as if all the pain he had felt before had disappeared.

When he stopped feeling that sensation, he regained his senses and opened his eyes. To find Kurumi in a strange dress pointing an antique pistol at the woman known as Mio Takamiya.

But before Kurumi could even fire, she fell sideways unconscious. Sawa, not understanding what was happening, tried to ask Mio what was going on, but to his misfortune, she placed her hand on top of his head and everything went black.

In that instant, the story took a completely different turn. Sawa had not died, and although she did not know it yet, she was now the bearer of the angel called Camael.

And she would not be alone, she would have a friend who would accompany her in her strange life. With her help, they would be able to discover the mystery hidden by the woman who gave her powers, because...

They would always be together
