Chapter 26 Nothing to Regret

Izzy's POV

As I was in studio A dancing by myself alone, I just wanted to have some time to myself for a bit.

I was in the middle of dancing dusk till dawn. I saw Jake sitting on the chair and started to smile at me.

"Hi Jake." I said.

"Hey, my beautiful girlfriend in the world." Jake exclaimed.

"Jake I'm your only girlfriend in the world." I told him as I face palm myself.

"Anyway, so are you ready for regionals Izzy?" Jake wanted to know.

"Yeah, I guess." I answered.

"Izzy, are you nervous?" Jake wanted to know as I just shrugged my shoulders.

"I wish I had time to be nervous." I told him.

Jake's POV

"Listen, can we talk?" I asked.

"Sure, what is it on?" Izzy exclaimed.

"I want to talk about our future and when we will have our first child. I mean, what if you get pregnant during Nationals and what that tear the team apart?" I asked.

"Well Jake, to be honest with you I don't know when we're going to have our first child. And I guess my other thoughts would be that it won't tear the team apart. You know why because they will understand." Izzy exclaimed.

That's when all the girls and the boys as well.

We all just begin talking, that's when Peter Pan came running in with four boxes, and began to speak.

"Guys! Our customers are here." Peter said.

"Costumes!" Finn said.

We all walked over to the four boxes.

"Oh yeah!" Stormy exclaimed with excitement.

"Oh yeah!" Stormy said.

"Here check!" Peter said while passing the first box to Stormy.

"Whoo hoo!" Stormy exclaimed.

As stormy held the box in her hand, Pirate Princess opened it.

That's when the Pirate Princess took out a hat from the box.

"Oh." Pirate Princess said.

"What is that?" Owlette wanted to know.

"This is not what we ordered." Owlette exclaimed.

"Hold on, hold on maybe it's just that box." Peter said.

I then opened the next box and pulled out an elephant costume.

"It's an elephant costume." Bart said.

Peter goes into the box and pulls out the elephant costume.

"What kind of world are we living in?" Peter exclaimed.

I began to drop the costume and started to say this... "These aren't our costumes!" I told them.

"Look, I'm going to go make some calls okay? Put those back." Peter explained as we started to play costumes back inside the box and he left to go back into his office.

"Like what is this? Regionals are only a few days away, and we still haven't had a dress rehearsal. We are in so much trouble." Izzy wanted to know as he was holding the elephant and body costume.

"Come on guys." I told them.

Izzy's POV

Then someone's phone started to ring. I begin to hear it as I went to go into it.

"Hello? Stormy's phone." I said.

"Okay! Bye!" I explained as I hung up the phone.

I began to walk up to my best friend stormy and hugged her.

"Stormy congratulations!" I said.

"On what?" Stormy wanted to know as she was confused.

"I can't believe it!" I exclaimed while everyone started to look over.

"You're going to guest star on a TV show!" I told her.

"What?!" Pirate Princess said shocked.

"What?!" Owlette also said.

That's when I grabbed stormy's hand and pulled her over to the group.

"Yeah! Guys, guys!" I said.

"No way!" Finn exclaimed.

"Stormy got the part!" I told them.

"She actually got the part." I said

"Wow!" Finn exclaimed.

We all started to applause to her.

I hugged her.

Stormy's POV

"Yeah I got to roll on a TV show, but they are filming the same weekend as regionals." I told everyone as they were shocked.

"Well you have to come to Regionals. I mean we've worked so hard and you're part of the team." Owlette exclaimed.

"All right guys." I said as I walked away.

Jake's POV

As Izzy and I were in Peter's office, we were waiting to hear about the costumes from Peter.

"OKay, thanks bye." Peter told the company and hung up.

"So?" Izzy said.

"It's a studio in Blackpool, they've shipped the costumes but i don't know if they'll make it in time." Peter said as I just sighed frustrated.

'We just have to cross our fingers." Peter exclaimed.

"Fine." I said but my girlfriend Izzy interrupted me.

"That's not good enough!" Izzy told him.

"Izzy, there's nothing we can do about it okay? We just need to hope the costumes make it. Peter said.

"Let's just make our routine way more than solid let's make it amazing!" I exclaimed.

"Knowing that we might not have the best costumes, we'll just make them work harder as dancers." I said

Look, we've seen how top regionals and Nationals are on TV. The costumes are spectacular." Izzy pointed out.

"And I'm sorry, but a good routine's not going to cut it." Izzy explained.

"We'll be fine okay? The costumes will come." Peter told us.

"All right." I answered.

"Yeah, all right Peter." Izzy exclaimed with a sigh.

That's when I started to put my hands on Izzy's shoulder.

"Ready to go?" I want to know from my girlfriend.

"Not really." Izzy said as we left Peter's office.

Izzy's POV

It was just Izzy and I inside Studio A. It was just ourselves alone.

"Jake, we can just sit around and hoping that the costumes will come. I mean we got to do something and trust me that won't work if we just sit around and do nothing by waiting." I told him.

"I know I agree we have to find new costumes. Because this elephant costume is really disturbing. I mean, what if our kids sees me wearing this?" Jake asked.

"Oh come on Jake, I bet you will look handsome in that elephant costume." I joked as Jake placed it back in the box.

"I was just kidding." I told him.

"The costume cupboard! There has to be something." Jake said.

"But what's in there?" I asked.

"Just tons and tons of costumes." Jake answered.

"! It'll work! It'll work!" Jake told me.

Stormy's POV

"Oh hey Izzy, here's your juice." I said while handing her a cup of juice.

"Aww, stormy that's so sweet of you thank you." Izzy thanked me.

"Well let's just say I think of you as my real big sister I told her.

That's when everyone in studio A was sitting down.

"Put your juice is down, take off your shoes, and follow us." Jake told us.

"But Jake we just got our juice...and." Bart was about to finish as Izzy and Jake interrupted him.

"HURRY!" They both yelled.

"It's more important than your juice." Jake exclaimed as we all got up and followed Jake and Izzy.

But as I was about to follow the rest of the troop, Peter knocks on the window to me in motions me to come into his office. And I know exactly why Peter is calling me into his office. He's going to ask me if I'm going to go to Regionals, or if I'm going to take the TV role. And I am worried that Peter's going to influence my decision or not and I don't want it to be the wrong one. I really don't.

"Storms, I can't tell you what to do okay? This is your decision or I can say is that your team needs you." Peter said.

"I know." I whispered.

"Okay well then you have a decision to make." Peter exclaimed.

"Okay." I told him.

Jake's POV

As Bart ran into Studio B along with me Izzy and the rest of the gang, I started to speak.

"There had to be something in here somewhere." I said.

"Right in here, right in here." Izzy exclaimed.

"Good eye, Iz!" I exclaimed as a history on the cheek.

But that's when but comes running out of the closet with the chicken head on his head and says this...

"The chicken head, Burk, Burk!" Bart explained as we all laughed along with Stormy.

"Oh no! It's the chicken bird!" Finn said.

And then we all continue to laugh apart from Owlette who was not having it.

Izzy and I started to pull out the rack with the costumes on.

"All right guys!" I said.

We're bringing everyone to Studio B that's where the costumes are kept.

Finn and Owlette, then open another closet and found more costumes.

"Flittering feathers, guys come check this out." Owlette exclaimed.

"Yeah guys look at this, we found more costumes. That will be five bucks please." Finn said.

"Finn, stop it just stop. Misty told him.

"Here is the five bucks you wanted." Bart told him.

"Give me that!" I said while snatching it out of his hand.

"Finn, you have to be the white rabbit!" I told him.

"Moo!" Finn refused.

"No, farm animal sounds mister." I said while everyone else began to put on the costumes.

As I looked around I saw everyone dancing in their costumes.

"There's absolutely no way this costume to work for the competition. I mean they're ridiculous they don't match they don't even fit. I don't know but it was really fun to dress up.

Izzy's POV

Back in Studio A, Finn began to do a backflip.

"Oh!" We all exclaimed as we all then laughed.

That's when all of a sudden Lisa came walking in holding words of shopping bags.

"Hey guys! I got costumes!" Lisa told us .

"Oh! Nice hat!" Finn complemented.

"I'm really excited to try on these costumes Lisa brought." I exclaimed.

Maybe it's a hope that will have costumes for regionals

"All right everybody let's start the music and start rehearsing our costume rehearsal." Jake told them.

All of the costumes that Lisa brought over start to fall off. Even though the costumes are falling off, and nearly everyone is tripping all over the costumes. They all end up laughing while dancing.

Jake's POV

"Okay no, these costumes are not working! Because of one thing, they keep going off. And to be honest we don't want the audience laughing at us." I reminded them.

"But Jake can't just see we're trying?" Bart asked while still laughing.

"You know what everyone just take five. I need a break." I exclaimed.

Izzy's POV

"Jake sweetie take all the time you need to take your break all right I got this." I told him as he turned around and smiled.

"Now what was I? We're going to have to try something else." I told them.

"I'm sorry you guys, but I tried." Lisa apologized.

"It's okay Lisa we forgive you." Bart exclaimed.

"That's all right lisa, a big round of applause from Lisa!" Finn said as we all clap our hands.

"Thanks Lisa!" Stormy thanked her as Jake came back from his break.

"All right, Troupe A, to whoever picks up the most clothes go!" Jake told them as everybody was rushing around to pick up the clothes.

"Hey Jake can I talk to you outside in the hallway while they pick up the clothes?" I asked.

"Yeah. I do need to talk to you." Jake answered.

Jake's POV

"So Jake, is everything okay?" Because you've been off lately what's up?" Izzy exclaimed.

"It's just that regionals is just a few days away, and we're running out of time Iz!" I told her.

"I know Jake I'm feeling the same way, I'm nervous about everything else. What if we don't win?" Izzy wanted to know.

"Hey what's going on here?" Peter asked.

"Peter, has the costumes come in yet?" I asked.

"No, I'm sorry it hasn't come in yet. I'm still checking the tracker on my phone." Peter exclaimed.

"Ugh, do they not understand that regionals is a few days away? We need those costumes or else we are going to look like a wreck out there." Jake told him.

"I promise I'll let you guys know when it arrives just stay strong." Peter told us.

"Stay strong? STAY STRONG!" Jake yelled.

"Okay Jake you need to take a break in the cafeteria." I told my boyfriend as I looked at Peter.

"And I thought I was the only one that yelled at people." I thought to myself.

Jake's POV

"That was too funny." I exclaimed.

"I thought the costumes would work, but sadly it didn't look what I did to my wing I ripped it." Owlette told us.

"If you want, I can sew it back on for you." Bart offered.

"Do you even know how to sew?" Owlette asked.

"Yeah Lisa taught me." Bart answered.

"Guys why do we make a new routine for the clothes that we do have now?" Finn suggested.

"We can pull it off, right Jake and Izzy?" Lisa wanted to know.

"We definitely can pull it off right guys?" Finn wanted to know.

Everyone starts talking at once, the team began is fighting.

"We can make a whole new routine!" Lisa shouted.

"Hey! If I hear one more word about costumes you guys are cleaning all of the mirrors in this place. You guys need to stop worrying about this. We just had a good time at the party! And here you guys again talking about costumes and worrying about it! If I were you I would shut your mouths." Peter told us.

"Are we going to win regionals in garbage bags." Peter exclaimed.

"Your job is not to worry about this, it's mine. I will fix this I will find the costumes. You guys worry about the dance got it!" Peter said.

"Thanks Peter, sorry." We all apologized and thanked him.

"Good, if you need me I'll be in my office. I don't want to hear any yelling in here or arguing. Or even fighting. Because if I hear any of those things again, I won't permanently pick you out of The regionals." Peter reminded us.

"Ye, yes sir." We all said in fear.

Izzy's POV

Once we all got up on the floor, Jake and I turned to face each other.

"Well?" Jake asked as he r shared a hug. But that's turned it turned into a group with everyone else.

"Oh." Both Jake and I exclaimed.

John's POV

As I inside Studio A alone dancing a solo by myself, stormy walked in, as I stopped it was just weird. All of a sudden these feelings for Stormy...rushed into me.

I finally finished the dancing as Stormy walked over to me.

"Hey!" Stormy said.

"Hey." I answered back.

Awkward silence started to happen between us.

"Can, can I talk to you?" Stormy asked a little nervous.

"About what?" I wanted to know.

"I just thought you should know that I still do like you and I want to be with you." Stormy told me as I was shocked to hear what she just said, as I was now out of breath.

"Why are you doing this to me and Cubby?" I exclaimed.

"Stormy, I asked you over and over again. I tried... And you just ignore me, and went back to Cubby." I explained.

"I'm sorry john, I really am." Stormy said.

"Well...I've moved on." I said.

"Really?" Stormy was shocked.

"Yeah." I told her.

"I'm sorry. But I don't think we can be together." I said.

Stormy's POV

Now I don't know what to do, I like both boys John Darling, and Cubby Andrews. Started to walk into the studio.

I have to focus on regionals...and more on and be strong.

"Attention everyone, stormy has something to tell you guys and I think it's important." Peter said.

"Okay, as you all may know I had to decide on two things one was to go to Regionals with all of you, or do that TV role. So, I thought about my decisions really hard last night and my answer is...

"I'm sorry...but I'm coming to regionals." I told my team as everyone falls down to the floor in fake shock and then they get up cheering as they all hug me.

My team is so important to me and being in trouble and going to Regionals is something I dreamed of since I was a little a little kid to be exact. And now, my dream has become a reality.

This is maybe the only chance that I can get.

"Regionals! Regionals!" We all cheered together.

"Let's go spread out here we go!" Peter exclaimed.

Jake's POV

"Uh, Peter, where are the costumes?" I asked.

"They're in the mail they're on their way, everything's great!" Peter exclaimed.

We all cheered.

Stormy's POV

That's when Peter Pan turn down the music and we all begin to do the regionals dance. We worked so hard and I feel like we're ready to go.
