Chapter four:

Hikaru stays seated on his bed watching Kaoru move around as he gets ready for his mission. "I wish I was going with you." He turns and pouts causing Kaoru to turn to him.

"You'll get a chance." Kaoru tries to assure him offering his brother a smile as the other turns to him. "Maybe next mission."

"Yeah but the first mission is special. This is your first real mission ever. I wanted to share the moment with you. Not be stuck at home while you're off having your first experience." Hikaru admits and Kaoru comes over to sit next to him on the bed.

"That may be true. But also think about this. Our first mission together will also be special. However it will be harder." He meets his twins gaze. "We will have to balance acting and our skills of being able to pull off the objective. I wouldn't want to ruin it by letting my nerves miss the opportunity to take out the target. I could put us both at risk in such a situation."

Hikaru lets out a breath understanding his brothers worries. "I suppose you're right. And yeah our first mission together will end up being super special anyways." He shared a smile with his twin then they hug. "Good luck out there. I'll stay up until you come home."

"I'll try to make it quick." Kaoru promises.

The two pull away and not a moment after a knock comes to their bedroom door.

"Young master? It's time to leave." A servant calls in.

Kaoru takes a nervous breath and Hikaru gently pats his back encouragingly.

"You've been training for this moment. You're going to do awesome." Hikaru gets an appreciative look from his brother.

Kaoru gets up grabbing the stuff he needs and heads out of the room.

Hikaru stares at the now left open door. "Please do come back." He whispers to no one.

...

Kaoru arrives to the location of his drop off. He was shown on a map where to go from here. He gets out and heads in the direction he knows to go. He uses some stores to guide his way. He goes into an alley sneaking towards the busy lit up nightlife area. He peeks in at it from the darkness of the alley.

The place is full of adults walking around enjoying the nightlife. It even has some slutty or rebellious teens who managed to sneak over here.

Kaoru looks for the tall building he needs to get to. He spots it with its ball on a spear lit up. He just needs to get through the crowds and through the alley on the other side.

The building is right behind some buildings ahead.

Kaoru pulls up the hood of his black hoodie. He steps out keeping his head down and his bag of equipment close.

The bag looks like just a bag to carry work or school equipment, basically looking like just a backpack.

Kaoru pushes his way through the crowd ignoring any drunken swears, or any calls of those looking for a good time. He gets to the alley continuing on. He does make sure to listen for any followers but hears none. He's sure that his hoodie, bag, and his ignoring while keeping his head down helped. He emerges to the next street which isn't as busy though still has some people. He can see the building just across this street that's empty of cars. He doesn't head straight for it. He instead heads around the side of a building beside the target. He was told these cameras are dead, left there just for show, so he can use this area to get around. He makes it around that building and pressing against the wall he sneaks towards the main building.

The cameras have a blind spot allowing access if one keeps against the other building wall.

Kaoru gets to the side door through the blind spot. He ensures that he has his mask on. He gets his gloves on then grabs his lock picking stuff. He picks the lock easily getting it open from tons of practice. He's practiced with so many locks he's sure he could open almost anything. He opens the door slowly while listening for voices. He slips inside holding the door to close it quietly. He's alone in a dimly lit storage area. He keeps his body low as he makes his way through the area. He makes it to a dingy set of stairs that look like they are meant for employees. He doesn't see any cameras so he makes his way up carefully. He needs to get to the third floor as he should be able to find his target there. He is about to get to the third landing when he stops and backs off before he is spotted by a camera. He ducks further down when the door opens with voices coming into the stairway.

"Excellent job sir Johnson. You absolutely floored those Japanese." One voice announces and Kaoru thinks that this is great that his target is coming out to another area.

Kaoru sneaks down the stairs quietly and waits by the door to the second floor.

"Yes well as long as they don't suspect anything then we should be fine. I have to meet a certain someone on the first floor. I want you to go to the second floor and ensure that the business event keeps going well." A gruff man responds sounding to have some accent Kaoru heard in movies as coming from America.

"Can do boss." The other man responds as Kaoru quietly slips past the door to hide in the shadows. A suited man walks right past Kaoru's hiding spot humming a happy go lucky tune to himself.

Kaoru slips out of the shadows going to the first floor once more as he hears the door below shut. He stands by the door for a moment then slowly opens it. He peeks out spotting his target going to behind some boxes. He quietly follows the rather white, almost pale white looking, man with a short hair cut of his grey hair, and expensive business suit. He looks around spotting some boxes he might be able to climb to get a good viewpoint. He carefully climbs on top of those boxes like large steps, before pulling out the silenced pistol from his bag. He aims it at the target who looks back and forth in front of himself.

"Come on. You had better not be late this time." Johnson grumbles crossing his arms over his chest which almost looks funny due to his large build full of muscles.

Kaoru tries to keep his aim on the man's head steady. His finger brushes the trigger when his body starts to hesitate. His mind tells him to take the shot but his body is trying to stop him. His hands shaking a little as he tries to keep focused. He tells himself that this is just like he practiced so many times… However even trying to do this action suddenly feels alien to him. He starts to worry that he might not be able to pull off his first mission after all. He tries to power through telling himself that he needs to do this. He may not get another perfect chance again if he doesn't take the shot. He needs to do this… He has to…
