A year had passed since Coulson had taken in Khalid. The boy had practical become his world. He had turned his guest room into a bedroom to gift the one year old. He had help from May and Alexis (Khalid's new nanny). The room was painted in red, white and blue. It also had a big star in the middle of it like Coulson's favorite hero. May made a lot of jokes because of it which caused Lexi laugh uncontrollably.
Coulson had also filled the room with different toys for kids Khalid's age. He also placed a bookshelf and filled it with as many children books as he could. Alexis was the one that suggested it as Khalid enjoyed being read to as he fell asleep. Speaking of Alexis, the 25 year old was a blessing. The live-in nanny was not only beautiful ,but she was also smart and very great cook.
Alexis was 5'6 with jade color eyes that only made her tanned skin stand out more. Her silky blond hair falling past her waist. She also had degree in child-care with a minor in psychology. Coulson also found out the hard way about her being a black belt in wushu, but thats a story for another day.
Coulson and the others were celebrating Khalid's. He had a small amount of people over to enjoy some burgers and cake. He turned around to see May talking to Sitwell. Fury was in the corner, watching the everyone with a question eye.Alexis was running around playing with Khalid. He couldn't help but smile at the site of the two.
Alexis looked up and smiled back a Coulson before smiling and waving. She whispered something to Khalid who came running towards Coulson.
"What's up little buddy?", Coulson asked, but what happened next shocked him.
"Dada!", Khalid shouted. This cause Coulson to drop the grill fork.
"What did you say?", Coulson asked in disbelief.
"Dada!",Khalid shouted again, the the child point at Fury, "Fewy!".
Coulson couldn't believe it not only did the kid just called him his dad ,but he also recognized Fury. The kid turn and then pointed at Lexi, "Mama!"
This caused Lexi to spit out the wine she was sipping. Coulson could she her blushing profusely. She came up with her face as red as a tomato.
"Sorry about that Mr. Coulson. He usually just calls me Lexi.", she said with a hint of embarrassment in her voice.
"It's not an issue. He spends most of his time with you anyways. When did he started talking?", explained Coulson.
"Last week, while you where away for work." Alexis explained. Just then, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He spun around to see Fury.
"We need to talk.", said Fury, Coulson could hear that it was an order and not a request. He handed Khalid to Alexis.
"Go to Lexi. Dada will be right back.", Coulson told the child, ruffling his hair earn him a giggle.
He turned and follow Fury into the kitchen, closing the door behind him.
"You letting the kid call you 'Dada' now?", Fury asked, Coulson could hear the sarcasm in his voice.
"Sir, you have to understand, I've had him for a year now. It's not gonna be that hard for the child to grow and attachment.", replied Coulson.
"Well if that's the case, I'm sure i could find someone to relieve you mission with ease. You think i haven't notice you slacking off. Just turning in your reports right before the deadline. Khalid is a distraction for you. He would be better with someone whose not so busy.", Fury stated.
Coulson froze. He could feel his heart starting to break. He tried to open his mouth ,but the words wouldn't come out. It was as if his tongue was glued to the top of his mouth.
Fury continued, "With the kid gone I could finally have my lead agent focusing on his real task, finding who The Dawn is. We have to know what kinda threat we are dealing with. Right now, I need your full undivided attention. As of tomorrow I am relieve of your care and placing him with another agent."
Hearing those words caused something in Coulson to snap. "Your not taking him.", he said thru his teeth.
"Excuse me?", Fury asked, his voice starting to rise.
"I said, your not taking my son!", Coulson yelled.
"Agent Coul-",Fury started to say, but was cut off.
"YOUR NOT TAKING MY SON, NICK!",Coulson bellowed," I WILL NEVER ALLOW IT. EVEN IF I HAVE TO QUIT THE JOB I LOVE SO MUCH! HE IS STAYING WITH ME! EVEN IF I HAVE TO BRING DOWN SHIELD TO DO IT!"
Coulson slammed his fist into the wall. His fist easily going thru it. Fury looked stunned he had never seen Coulson this mad. Coulson pulled his out of the wall and turned to look Fury straight in his eye.
"If more effort from me is what you want, fine! I work twice as hard! But don't you ever in your life think you can come and take him away from me Nick! I will fucking kill you!", Coulson yelled," Now get the hell out of my house. I'll see you at the office on Monday."
This was the first time Coulson had ever felt rage like this. His blood felt like lava underneath his skin. He really wanted to hurt someone right now. Coulson as he was right now was wrath incarnate. The room remained silent for a few minutes.
"Fine, but I'll hold your word Coulson. If the Dawn is after the kid, their gonna be after you too. Believe it or not, I see you as family and want both of you safe. If you want to keep him safe, we have to find them. I'll see you Monday.", Fury said.
Coulson didn't even look up, but he could hear Fury opening the door and leaving. He threw himself in the chair. He stared into space. Unaware of the world around him as he tried to rest his rage. He felt tiny hands gab onto his.
"Dada.", a soft voice said. Coulson looked up and it was Khalid. He smiled at son. Proud to call him that
"Hey little guy! How'd you get in here ?, Coulson asked, picking the boy up in his arms. Just then, Khalid hugged him. He hugged back. Glad knowing he would get to keep his son.
Khalid POV
4 years later...
After my first birthday party, Coulson started coming home less frequently. I mean he is a really cool parent, but after that initial argument with Fury, he buried himself into his work. Sometimes gone months at a time, but he always had a gift for me and one for Alexis. Coulson and her had started dating after my third birthday. It was after I told them my was for them to kiss.
Usually this time of year Coulson would be pretty excited for my birthday ,but this time he was a little distant. He had just come back from and important mission in Asia. I don't know what it was about but he was upset that it didn't go well. He had locked himself in his study every since he came back.
As for me, I was having a hard time using any of the wishes I made. I mean I could sense my chakra ,but I didn't know how to use it. I still didn't see any of the weapons or the hyperbolic time chamber. Did All lie to him about all those wishes?
I was thinking of a way to get my chakra to work for me when I heard a knock on my door. I looked up to see Coulson and Alexis standing there. Coulson had some scrolls in his hands.
"You got a minute champ?", Coulson asked. I could see he was worried.
"Yea, Dad what's up?", I replied. I watched as him and Alexis came and sat in his bed.
"Well, I have three things I need to talk to you about.", Coulson started.
"Is this about me being adopted?",asked Khalid. Coulson had a look of disbelief on his face.
"How did you know?",asked Alexis. She also had a confused look on her face.
"I found a paper in your desk. It says my real mom is Jane Doe and that me real dad is unknown", I explained. Hoping that would work.
"I'll start locking my paper work in the safe.", I sighed mentally and Coulson continued,"What were you looking for anyway?"
"My birthday gift.", I stated blandly. Alexis chuckled softly.
"Well about that this years gift comes from your birth mom.", said Coulson, he placed seven scrolls on bed. "Your mom left you these when she gave you to me. She sacrificed herself just to save you from some very bad people."
"What bad people, Dad?", asked Khalid, curious to know who was after his mother.
"I don't know, Khal. I do know you don't have to worry about them and you know why?", asked Coulson.
"Because you catch bad guys!",Khalid replied excitedly. Khalid scanned over the scrolls. Each scroll had a different label on it in Japanese. For some strange reason he could read it just fine. Genjustu, Taijustu, Ninjustu, Fuinjustu, Weapons, Summonings and Time Chamber. He rubbed his hands over the scrolls.
'That son of a bitch!', Khalid thought. I now realized that All didn't put the knowledge in his head ,but gave me books to learn and study.
"That's right. There was also this letter.", Coulson handed me the letter. I read the letter and flipped over to see if their was any other message ,but none that I could see.
"I just want you to know. That no matter what, you'll always be my son.",said Coulson, rubbing the top of my head.
"I know dad. I love you.", I replied.
"I love you too, son.", said Coulson. He pulled me into a hug that I returned. The hugged for a minute before breaking apart. Alexis then took over the conversation.
"The last thing we have to tell you is that we're getting married and we're also going to adding a next member to our family.", she said softly, her hand drifting to her stomach. She looked me deeply in my eyes.
"I just want you to know that now matter what I will love you no less. You will always be my first baby.", she said, she then leaned over and kissed me on my forehead. I place my hand on her stomach. I was happy that my new family was about to grow.
After that they stayed with me as we talked about what I wanted to do for my birthday. Then they ordered Chinese food and we had a family movie night.
Later that night when he asleep I had a dream. I was once again standing in the black void. There stood All with a wide grin on his face.
"What's up, mortal?", he said, smile never falling.
"You tricked me.", I said making sure to keep my attitude in check. Just in case he brings down that force against me.
"Nah. I didn't you ask for the knowledge. I just didn't give you in they way you were thinking.",All explained, "I came here to tell you how to access the scrolls context. I've been watching you. What you think is your chakra is just your spiritual energy. Don't worry though when you go into the time chamber you'd understand why."
I calmed down a bit. All was right, he did answer my wishes just not how I thought it would be.
All continued,"As for your time chamber, it works similar to that of Dragon Ball Z except you wont age. It will auto replenish any weapons you take into the real world with you or food that you eat. I'll leave the other surprises for when you enter it."
"So what do I have to do?", I asked.
"Just a drop of blood would open them. I advise against letting them see you opening up the scrolls. Coulson might take them to Shield to be studied.", All instructed. He turned to leave.
"Why can I read Japanese?", I asked quickly. All stopped he only looked over his shoulders and spoke.
"So you'll be able to read the books. You can also speak and read any language. It was a bonus gift from me to you. Caio!",All said.
With a snap of a finger I jolted up in my bed. I looked at my Captain America clock. It was only 2 a.m. I quickly got out of my bed and went to my closet where I had placed the scrolls. I took out the one labeled Hyperbolic Time Chamber. I slowly unwrapped it, not wanting to tear it in anyway. Once it was open, I saw how elegant and crisp the calligraphy was on it. I was amazed at how beautiful it was.
Getting over my amazement, I bit deeply into my finger. I raised my hand above the seal and let the blood drip on it. As soon as the blood hit the ink, it started to glow. Soon afterwards I was blinded by the smoke that rose up out of it. Waving the smoke out of my face, I looked down and was shocked.
'What the fuck is this?', I thought.
In front of me was a normal looking wrist watch and a letter. I picked up the letter and began to read.
This may look like a normal watch but it isn't. The buttons on the right to control watch settings. The button on the left transfers you to Time Chamber. I suggest you carry all the justu scrolls in with you!Good luck!

I checked the time on his bed side clock and then synced the time on the watch with it. The secured the watch to my wrist and then pressed the button to the time chamber. He was suddenly engulfed in a bright light. I blinked and was suddenly on a porch staring into what seem to be an endless void.
"Hello!"
I jumped up and spun around. I couldn't believe who it was. An Asian man with his hair pulled into a ponytail, his skin was tanned and he had a scar going across the bridge of his nose. He had one the standard chunin uniform from the show.
"Y-your I-Iruka!", I stammered out. Is this the surprise All was talking about.
"Yes I am! It's time to start your training!", Iruka said with a wide grin on his face. "But first, I have to explain this place. So please come let us sit.",He said gesturing towards a small table. I made way to it and sat down.
"First off, Let me tell you about this place. As you know this is called the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Any food you eat or weapons you take into the real will automatically be replenished. As you know one day in the real world equals a year, but if you spend a hour it would be fifteen days and five hour, one minute equals six hours and one second equals six minutes. There is a new feature that can set up an environments. Such as forest, mountain, lake and so forth." Iruka explained. I check my watch and on saw a that only a second had passed. Iruka continued his speech.
"I am here to only teach you the basics. At every level you will receive a different teacher. I do not know who your teachers will be , I do know that it will be based on the taijustu styles you learn. Also what every amount of ninjustu and genjustu you want to know. Lastly, you must pick a goal. Your goal will be your final challenge for you to become a master Shinobi."
Iruka pushed a piece of paper towards me. Then he started to speak again,"Fill out this paper here. Then we can begin when afterwards. Take your time and think about it. I were you, I would open each of the scrolls and then go from there."
I watched as he left me alone. I thought about everything he had explained and decided to open the scroll one by one. Firstly, I open up the Taijustu scroll, biting into my thumb again and letting the blood drip on the scroll. Smoke exploded in the air. When it cleared, over a thousand books and scrolls laid around. Sighing, I get up to start looking through everything.
Five and a half later I had unseal all the scrolls. I had gone thru each section of Justu. For Taijustu I had books and 4 scrolls in my hand. All three levels of the Konohagakure Taijustu in books. I had Interceptor Fist, Stong Fist, Gentle Fist and Konohagakure Kenjustu in scrolls. To me these where the best in the show. Plus the beginning of the Konohagakure book said 'it maid learning other styles easier.'
In Ninjustu, I picked everything element related including wood. I was gonna master each element. Just like Hashirama Senju, Sasuke Sarutobi and Hiruzen Sarutobi I will be known as a God of Shinobi. I also, got all the medical ninjustu. Tsunade survived being ripped in half, so I thought that would be useful. I also picked up the Scroll of Sealing that contained all the Konohagakure forbidden justu. Especially one that was basically a cheat code.
In Genjustu, I pick up the everything that had to do with the Uchiha family. Through out the show there wasn't a better Genjustu user that Itachi Uchiha. The man who could put you in a genjustu with a point of a finger.
As for his goal, it was simple and easy. Be strong enough to beat the the first four Hokages.
