Once the trio arrived at Sir Pentious's house, Charlie knocked on the door and got an answer from one of the Egg Bois who then ran inside to get his boss.

Charlie made herself take deep breaths and prayed out loud, "God, please, PLEASE, let this work!"

"You'd better!" Husk yelled at the sky.

"Husk, don't yell at God like that," Niffty chided. "That isn't nice!"

"I'm not nice," Husk retorted.

Finally, the door opened with Sir Pentious appearing on the other side.

"What do you want? Are you back here to make me go back to the hotel?" Sir Pentious asked. "I told you I'm not ready."

"That ain't why we're here, snake," said Husk. "We need your help."

"What for?" asked the snake.

"We need your help to fight Alastor," Niffty blurted out.

"What?!" Sir Pentious asked in surprise. "What happened?!"

"He's holding Vaggie captive. Haven't you paid attention to the news?" asked Charlie incredulously.

"I've put off reading my papers lately," Sir Pentious confessed. "I must be more out of the loop than I thought."

"Alastor is forcing Vaggie to marry him today!" cried Charlie. "We're going to crash the wedding, and we need your help! Please!"

"What?!" Sir Pentious asked. "I'm not involved with the hotel right now. Why would I do that?!"

Everyone paused for a second until Husk said, "You'd finally prove yourself as Alastor's number one rival if you did."

Sir Pentious's eyes spread wide open.

Then with only a moment's pause, he threw open the door and said, "Come in."

The quartet followed Sir Pentious into the large manor. They followed him past multiple ornate rooms past multiple Egg Bois occupied with various tasks until they reached his sitting room.

The sitting room contained ornate chairs, floor to ceiling bookshelves with multiple books, a grand piano, and a fireplace that wasn't lit.

"So, about Alastor…" Charlie tried to begin as she tried to sit down.

"Just a moment," Sir Pentious interrupted before calling to his minions. "Bois! We have guests!"

A dozen Egg Bois rushed into the room. They scrambled to light the fireplace, pull chairs out for the trio to sit in, and bring in a cart filled with tea and pastries in the span of about ten seconds.

"Now, you may…is that a pig?!" cried Sir Pentious, finally noticing Fat Nuggets standing next to Niffty.

"Complain about the pig and the deal's off," Husk growled.

Sir Pentious rolled all his eyes and said, "Fine, take a seat."

Everyone took a seat as an Egg Boi ran by with the cart and handed them all cups of tea.

Sir Pentious picked up his cup and stirred it, "So, tell me again. What is it you want to do?"

"We would like you to help us crash Alastor's wedding," Charlie repeated.

Sir Pentious took a sip and asked, "For what purpose? What are you getting out of this again?"

"I'll get to stop him from marrying my girlfriend!" Charlie snapped in frustration. "I told you this already!"

"And they're super-duper in love, so they gotta be together!" Niffty cried.

"Have you tried talking to Vaggie?" Sir Pentious asked. "You could talk to her or talk Alastor out of it."

"Alastor kidnapped Vaggie, you idiot!" Husk snapped. "He has held her captive at his manor and is forcing her to get married today. I've known the bastard for decades. There's no changing Alastor's mind without force in this. Haven't you been paying any attention to anything?"

"Like I said, I haven't been reading my papers," Sir Pentious said with a shrug.

"And the wedding is happening today!" Niffty cried.

Sir Pentious spat out his tea and yelled, "Today?!"

"Yes!" Charlie yelled in exasperation. "And the longer we wait, the less time we have to rescue her. Look, I know we haven't been on the greatest terms since you left the hotel, but we need your help. My dad won't help, and my mother has little say in what he does. You're our last option! You're the only sinner I know who has had the balls to go up against Alastor and lived to tell the tale."

Sir Pentious looked away nervously and said, "The last time I went up against Alastor I lost a lot. I was lucky to get out alive. When I went to the hotel, I did my best to never get on Alastor's bad side for that reason. By going against him like this now, what do I get out of this?"

Husk groaned in frustration and asked, "Are you sure you can live with yourself knowing you missed the opportunity to humiliate your rival in front of all the important people of hell?"

"I have too much to lose!" Sir Pentious fired back.

"And we don't?" Husk retorted.

Before the argument could continue, Charlie looked at Sir Pentious compassionately and said, "We'll help you escape."

Sir Pentious cocked an eyebrow, surprised at her declaration, "Really? Can you manage that? Alastor is dangerous."

"I will make sure that I can keep you out of the line of fire," Charlie promised. "Please?"

"Please help us," Niffty added, begging on her knees in front of him.

Sir Pentious thought for a long moment. It would be a wonderful moment to get back at Alastor, but even more so, Charlie was so sincere and desperate for his help that he couldn't say no.

Sir Pentious then finally answered, "Well, I suppose it would improve my image as a kingpin and future overlord of all the Pride Ring to crash a major overlord's wedding. I've also been eager to get back at Alastor for destroying my airship, refusing to sell me Angel, and for not extending me an invitation to his affairs. I'll do it."

A second later, Charlie had crossed the room, wrapping Sir Pentious in a warm hug, "Wonderful! Thank you! Thank you so much!"

Sir Pentious smiled at the hug but quickly regained his composure, pushed her away, and said, "One more thing, princess, I will require money for my services. Is that understood?"

"Of course, anything you want," Charlie said quickly, pushing the snake demon into the hallway. "Let's just get this show on the road. Now, we need to get on that airship and save Vaggie!"

Niffty grabbed an Egg Boi and yelled in his face, "Bring us to the airship!"

"What they said," Husk added.

"Okay, okay," the Egg Boi said. "Follow us."

The whole group started following the Egg Bois to the hangar while Sir Pentious gathered some of his weapons from another room.

"Wait! We'll need weapons!" Sir Pentious called back to the group. "I've got my armory here. Help me! We'll need all we can get!"

"I hear ya! I'm coming!" Husk replied, flying back to the armory to help Sir Pentious.

"Me too!" Niffty yelled, zooming across the floor behind him.

"I'll help too," Charlie said, following them.

"No," Sir Pentious said, walking past her with weapons while a line of Egg Bois headed towards the armory. "You wait in the ship and make plans."

"But Sir Pentious –…" Sir Pentious cut her off.

"For God's sake, Charlie, you are a princess!" Sir Pentious explained. "Royals don't carry weapons. They have us common soldiers to do that. You have to be a leader. Now, go get in the blimp right now. My Egg Bois and I will get this done."

"Are you sure?" Charlie asked.

"Yes!" Sir Pentious snapped. "Go!"

Charlie smiled and headed to the ship. It was enormous, bigger than the one that attacked the hotel. It had enough room for a sitting area on the lower deck in addition to the upper deck where Sir Pentious was controlling the ship.

Within minutes, everyone and everything was situated on the airship.

"Okie dokie, everybody, are we ready?!" cried Niffty standing on a couch from the sitting area.

The Egg Bois yelled their affirmations to Niffty.

"Hey!" Sir Pentious cried, slithering around the ship to do his pre-flight check. "You only answer to me! Don't respond to her."

"Ease your ego, snake," Husk chided, enjoying a drink from the ship's bar before sitting next to her on the couch. "You ain't in charge here. Charlie is. Are you ready, princess?"

"Yes," Charlie said seriously with a nod. "I'm more than ready. Let's go kick his ass!"

"That's the spirit, darlin'!" Husk cried, picking up a shot and handing it to Charlie. "Take a drink for luck!"

Without hesitation, Charlie took the flask and swallowed a shot of whiskey.

"Scared, huh?" Husk asked with a chuckle.

"Terrified," Charlie admitted before perking up again. "But I'm not backing down. I can't. I must save Vaggie."

"Hold on to that conviction," Husk said. "Against Alastor, you'll need it. But don't worry. We'll get through this. No matter what happens."

"Husk?" Charlie asked, turning to him. "What made you change your mind about coming here? You were so scared before. What changed?"

Husk sighed deeply, "Kid, to tell the truth, I don't completely know myself. I thought about you. I thought about the hotel. I even thought about Angel. Somehow, just from being in the hotel, I feel different. It's hard to explain, but I like my life more now than when I was just running my casino. It somehow feels like there's something more, like it's got something meaningful, something real attached to it that wasn't there before. It makes me feel more alive than I've felt in decades. I want to protect that. I want to keep what you've got going alive, because for all of us who are part of it, it's something I can say is truly good."

Charlie smiled softly and said, "Do you think you're reforming?"

Husk shrugged, "I don't know. I still don't know if it's possible. I just want to keep a good thing going."

"And help Angel?" asked Charlie with an eyebrow raised.

Husk paused and blushed before scoffing and admitting, "Yeah, that too."

"Alright, everyone, we're ready to head out!" yelled Sir Pentious, slithering for the controls.

"Hold on, Vaggie!" Charlie cried. "We're coming."
