Hey everyone another chapter and like a ball my mind just keeps rolling right along. If I stop I'll loose all momentum. So I've been working nonstop making chapters and writing this story. I genuinely want to cover all the characters and build up everything to come including the future stories that will be tied to this one. So for now, a new chapter that will shed a little bit more light onto the characters in this story. Please enjoy and if possible leave a comment. Thanks.

Rated M for strong graphic violence, strong sexual content, and strong language.

Chapter Two

Shego's nose twitched at the aromas of cooking meat. Her eyes slowly opened, staring up at the ceiling of the living room. Looking to her right she saw her bottle of whiskey and glass sitting on the coffee table. A blanket had been placed over her in her sleep. Sitting up with a groan she squinted in the morning light. The sizzling meat and popping eggs caught her attention.

"Morning," Jacob spoke as he worked the spatula in the pan.

"Morning," she groaned rubbing the heal of her hand against her forehead. "Didn't you sleep last night?"

"What makes you think that?" he asked adding some splashes of worcestershire sauce into the pan.

"Because I don't remember covering myself with a blanket last night," she commented standing up.

"Yeah, bad dreams. Came out to get some water, saw you passed out on the couch," he replied, watching her as she sat across from him at the island in the kitchen.

"Thanks," she spoke.

Jacob responded with a nod before sliding a cup of coffee across the counter to her. She nodded and picked up the mug. Taking a sip her face curled at the bitter taste. He just chuckled as he sipped his own coffee.

"I don't know how you drink coffee like that," she grumbled, spooning sugar into her mug.

"Years of practice," was his response as he placed a lid over the pans. "I set out some tenderloin for you and your sister tonight," he spoke pointing at the fridge.

"Thank you," she said sitting back. "Still don't know what to think about her coming back into my life," she spoke with a sigh.

Jacob sipped on his coffee and stared at her. He just nodded slightly and shrugged. "If I had a chance to rebuild a relationship with my sister I'd do it," he spoke plainly. "Hell, I'd jump at it," he finished turning to the cabinet. Taking two plates down he loaded potatoes, eggs, and cuts of deer meat onto the plates. He slid hers across the counter in front of her. He sat a knife and fork in her hand before looking to his own plate. "That's not all that's bugging you is it?" he inquired cutting into the meat.

"We're not getting into it," she responded eating some meat.

"I see the way you stare at that picture," he challenged pointing at the picture of Kim and Shego.

"That's not any of your damned business," she spoke, glaring up at him.

"Look Sam, I'm your friend, not your shrink. I'm just trying to help," he simply shrugged.

She nodded and looked down to her plate. "Thanks for breakfast," she spoke taking a sip of her coffee.

He raised his mug and smiled to her. "I'll make myself scarce tonight. That'll give you and your sister time together," he finished watching her nod.

Shego finished her food and sat the plate in the dish washer. She waited until he was done and started the dishes. Jacob left and went to his room. Coming back out he was carrying his shotgun and some camouflage. She nodded to him as he walked out into the garage.

She knew he would be duck hunting until the evening. Giving her plenty of time to prepare for her sister. She opened the fridge to see the meat sitting on a plate. Next to it was a bottle of wine. She smirked at seeing it, knowing Jacob got it for them.

She looked at the picture of her and Kim. Did she really stare at it as much as he claimed? Was she getting easy to read? She shook her head before walking towards the bathroom. With a few hours to kill before Destiny arrived, she would use the time to get cleaned up.

Kim tried to examine a cat. It hissed at her as she gripped it by the scruff of its neck. The animal needed its shots and this was the animal she hated giving shots to. Pinning the cat under her arm she carefully inserted the needle in and gave the cat its shot.

Once done she placed it back into its carrier and smiled. The cat took a swipe at her from within the carrier making her laugh. She passed it over to the owner who thanked her and walked out of the room. Turning she walked over to the cabinet and paused looking at the image of her and Shego.

Her mind had been a jumble of emotions since the invasion. She was second guessing herself about Ron. She admitted he did nothing wrong. This was something that had been apart of her since high school. She had always felt differently watching the other girls change in the locker room.

"KP," Ron called breaking her thoughts.

"Yeah, sorry next patient ready?" she asked.

"Yeah, you okay? You've been rather distant lately," he ventured, watching her.

"Yeah, we'll talk about it later," she spoke tenderly. She smiled as a dog was led in by its owner.

The day passed rather quickly without incident. Kim closed up the shop, flipping the sign to closed. She turned to see Ron waiting on her. She took a deep breath as she placed her hands on her hips.

"We need to talk," she spoke her voice tender.

Shego sat the sizzling skillet on the table with a pot of potatoes and another with corn. The plates were sat out and ready to go. The knock came from the door pulling her attention. Walking up to the door she let out an apprehensive breath. Slowly, opening the door she saw Destiny standing there.

Her sister smiled and she ushered her in. She walked with her over to the table. Sitting across from her she offered a sheepish smile. "There's deer tenderloin, potatoes, corn, and homemade gravy" Shego explained pointing to everything on the table.

"Wow, you picked up cooking?" Destiny asked taking some of the meat.

"Yeah, but this was all Jacob's recipes he taught me. His family's recipe," she said shrugging.

Destiny cut into the piece of meat. Sampling it she smiled brightly. "Well done sis," she praised her.

Shego smiled with a nod as she started eating her own pieces of meat. Reaching forward she sipped from her glass of wine. "I want to be straight forward and honest with you," Shego spoke taking a moment between bites.

"By all means," Destiny spoke taking her glass of wine.

"I am truly glad you decided to come back into my life. You were the only one of the family who didn't try to tell me what to do or how to be. I want you to know I don't blame you for leaving. I understand why you did it," Shego explained her eyes locked with her older sister.

Destiny lowered her head, her eyes closing. "It means a lot to hear you say that," Destiny paused fighting back her emotions. She hadn't expected to hear that from Shego. She truly thought there would be a lot of swearing and yelling, maybe even things being thrown. "I blame myself for how you turned out. I know me being around kept you on a straight path. I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to get out of there."

It was Shego's turn to lower her head. She moved some kernels of corn around on her plate with a sigh. "I did enjoy stealing and being a bad guy. Part of that was because it was a blatant 'Fuck You' to our parents and brothers." Her head lifted up to Destiny who was listening to her. "I already had enough problems with them wanting me to be the perfect hero. Wanting me to be the perfect woman. Wanting me to like men," she trailed off, remembering Destiny didn't know this fact about her.

"So you're a lesbian?" Destiny inquired sitting back. She smirked slightly. "I guess that's why Jacob isn't your type."

Shego chuckled taking her glass and sipping from it. "Yeah," she trailed off tapping the side of her glass.

"Sammy," Destiny started using her nickname for her sister. Hearing that caused Shego to tense up. She remembered the last time she heard that name. It was the night Destiny left leaving her to deal with their parents and brothers alone. "I'm moving to Upperton," Destiny announced causing Shego's head to snap up and look at her. "I can't do a good job being part of your life again if I live in Austin, can I?"

A smile moved across Shego's face. "When I chose to start my life over I wasn't expecting it to go like this," Shego admitted watching Destiny crane her eyebrow.

"How did you expect it to go?" Destiny inquired eating her potatoes.

"No clue, but, restarting my relationship with my sister has to be the best thing," Shego admitted shrugging.

There was a clatter that came from the garage. They both turned to the door. Getting up they walked to the door. Opening it they saw Jacob standing over a table. There were several ducks and a few geese laid out on the table. He was singing and dancing, in his own world as he started cleaning the birds.

"I see you got some," Shego called gaining his attention.

"Yeah, three mallards, two black ducks, and three speckled belly geese," he called back to her still focused on the birds. "Is your sister gone, I don't want to interrupt," he called. There was a brief giggle making him stop. He turned to see Destiny standing next to Shego. "Well shit," he mumbled. "How much did you see?"

"Enough to know you sing off key and have no rhythm," Destiny giggled making him lower his head. "At least you know how to cook. You got that going for you," she called making his face light up slightly.

"Okay, that's enough," Shego spoke closing the door.

"He's quite the character," Destiny spoke watching as her sister looked back to her.

"You have no idea," Shego responded walking back towards the table Destiny following her.

"So, anyone got your eye," Destiny ventured as they sat back down.

Shego paused, her mind thinking of Kim. However her sister was sitting across from her. That thought gave her hope that she might have a chance with her. However, the last she knew she was still with Stoppable. "One person, it won't matter anyway."

"Why do you say that?" Destiny questioned, gently probing.

"Because she has someone," she spoke, the words painful at the thought. Taking a sip of her wine she cut another piece of meat. "Let's change the subject."

Destiny watched Shego closely, studying her expression. She nodded, trying not to upset her. Nodding she obliged her sister's request and proceeded to tell her what her life was like over the past ten years. All the while, trying to figure out as much as she could about this mysterious woman who had caught her sister's eye.

"You're breaking up with me?" Ron asked, his voice low, pain in it.

Kim sighed, her head lowered pain in her voice. "Yes Ron, but, I need you to know and understand it is because of nothing you did. You were a wonderful boyfriend. Any woman would be lucky to have you. It's just, it's hard to explain."

"Please tell me, what's going on?" Ron ventured.

"Ron I've been suppressing feelings for a long time. Since high school and I can't anymore. Ron I'm attracted to women," she spoke watching him nod slightly.

He sat back in his chair, thinking about her words. He mowed everything over in his head, clinging onto every word she had spoke. Slowly he got up and crossed the room towards her. He watched her lower her head finding it hard to look at him. Slowly he pulled her into a hug shocking her. "KP, it's more important to me if you are happy. If you being happy means you are attracted to women than that's what's important. You will always be my best friend. I'd rather maintain a friendship with you than have you feel like you need to be with me out of some obligation."

"Ron," she cried, feeling him hug her tighter.

"It's okay KP, I promise," he reassured her.

She pulled back and felt him brush a tear away from her eye. He offered her a smile before kissing her forehead. "I'll see you tomorrow for my shift," he spoke smiling at her.

Kim watched him leave, her thoughts on how well he took the news. She breathed out a collective sigh of relief. She hadn't been expecting him to take that so well. She wiped the tears away from her eyes. Grabbing her coat she walked outside, pausing to lock the door. She found her thoughts going to a certain black-haired woman. Now she just needed to find her.
