Chapter Eight

Kim examined a husky as it sat on the examination table. It wagged its tail in excitement as she tried to give it a checkup. She smiled as it started licking her on the face.

"Okay, I need to examine you so calm down please and thank you," she giggled as the dog continued to lick her. When she pulled back the dog let out a yowl of frustration. "Oh I know, you can't keep licking me. It must be so tough."

The dog screamed again. She moved forward and continued examining it. The dog went back to licking her making her laugh. Once she finished she led the dog out to the owner. The owner left, Kim took a towel from the counter.

"That dog loves to give affection," Kim chuckled.

Ron laughed too. "So, you and Shego have any plans Saturday?" he asked.

"I'm not sure what's up?" she asked shrugging.

"Well, Yori is worried that you're not happy about her and I. I made a suggestion that we go to the club on the other side of town. All of us," he spoke.

"I said it was no problem," Kim spoke seeing him nod. "Yeah, I'll mention it to Shego tonight. She might want to bring one other person," she admitted.

"Who?" Ron asked an eyebrow arched.

"Her sister," Kim said making Ron go wide-eyed.

"Shego has a sister?" Ron half shouted in shock.

"Yeah, she's really sweet," Kim said before remembering something. "I'll invite Bonnie too, she doesn't get out much."

"Sounds like a plan," Ron said smiling.

The door opened and a woman walked in carrying a carrier. Inside was a kitten that squealed. Walking over she smiled. Taking the carrier she went back to the examination room thinking about the Saturday to come.

Bonnie walked into the bar with Kim. They got their drinks and sat at their table. It had become a weekly routine for them to go get a few drinks. Since they had restarted their relationship, they had grown close. Bonnie genuinely felt terrible for all the things she had done to Kim in high school. Now, Kim was giving her a second chance.

"Hey Bonnie," Kim said breaking her thoughts.

"Yeah?" Bonnie asked sipping her drink.

"You got any plans Saturday?" Kim ventured.

"Not really, you got something you want to do?" Bonnie asked.

"Well, Ron invited Shego and me to the club across town. Shego will probably invite her sister so I figured I'd invite you so you could have some fun" Kim offered looking to Bonnie.

"Yeah I'd love to," Bonnie said smiling before she replayed the words over. "Wait, Shego has a sister?" she said somewhat shocked.

"Yeah, that's the usual reaction to finding that out," Kim chuckled. "Her name is Destiny and you'll probably get to meet her."

"Destiny, it's got a nice ring to it," Bonnie smiled sipping her drink.

Shego smiled to herself, the idea of going to the club with everyone sounded amazing. There was just one more person she wanted to go with them. Walking into her house she saw Jacob sitting at the island. He was sipping from a glass of water. His nose buried deep into a catalogue. She walked up to stand opposite of him.

"What's up Sam?" he asked, turning the page.

"What are you doing Saturday night?" she asked as he circled an item.

"Not sure yet, probably just relaxing," he answered, glancing up at her.

"Good, everyone is going to the club. You're the last one to invite," she spoke smiling.

He stared at her for a few seconds nodding slightly. "No," he simply said, making her face drop.

"What?" she asked staring at him.

"I don't do clubs," he responded going back to his work.

"Why not?" she inquired.

"Loud, to many people, over priced drinks. Need I go on?" he responded, turning the page.

Shego looked at him dumbfounded as he continued looking. She smiled before leaning forward. "Destiny will be there," she spoke. She watched his eyes lift up to look at her. "I ain't blind, I see how you look at her. Think about it, it might be a chance for you to at least get her number," Shego coaxed watching him.

Jacob inwardly smirked. Sitting back he let out a sigh. He stared at her, her eyebrows arched and a smirk plastered on her face. Slowly he just nodded watching her smile.

"I'll put in a good word for you with my sister then," Shego laughed walking away.

"If you only knew," Jacob murmured, looking back to his catalog.

Shego smiled to herself proud that she was able to convince Jacob to come. She walked outside to see Destiny pull up into their driveway. She smirked slightly as Destiny got out of the car. She walked up to the porch. She gave Shego a hug and smiled at her.

"Well, I convinced Jacob to go too," she stated proudly.

"You did? Good for you. How did you convince him?" Destiny asked, smiling at her.

"I told him you were going," Shego admitted making Destiny smirk. "What? A blind man can see he's got a crush on you."

"Sammy, are you trying to play match maker?" Destiny chuckled bumping her shoulder into her sister's.

"I don't know, everyone else has been finding something to make them happy why not you two?" Shego stated, watching as Destiny just leaned forward onto the bannister.

Destiny smiled glancing to Shego as she leaned up next to her. "How's everything with you and Kim so far?" she asked.

Shego just chuckled glancing over to her. "It's going amazing, I couldn't be happier," Shego declared.

"Good, I'm happy for you sis, that's all I've ever wanted," Destiny said, softly leaning over to her. She rested her head on her shoulder and smiled as they looked out across the snowy landscape. "By the way, you are an ass,"

"Why would you say that dear sister?" Shego spoke, feigning innocence.

"You know damn well why," Destiny chuckled, playfully pushing her.
