Author's Starting Commentary: Alright, I get it, I had to rewrite the chapter to be longer than I originally wanted it to be, but here you go! A proper prologue!
[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]
A massive whale the size of several cities floated around a massive cavern in pure, utter boredom, as it gazed upon the land above it.
This whale looked like a massive, non-transparent glowing spirit, which it definitely was.
This whale is Ludo-Rathowm, or Rudrasaum. In another term he is simply a Space Whale God.
Suddenly, it moved it's body in annoyance.
"Damnit... this cycle is beginning to be repetitive... I want to see is something different again! This Era is the most boring crap I've ever seen!" Rudrasaum yelled in a state of pure tantrum, scaring the three entities which were floating around it.
There was no reason to guard Rudrasaum as it was a higher entity, a "director" of sorts that has no need of a guardian, yet it still needed to be watched for certain reasons such as the destruction of the continent it had created.
"Would you like to-" One of the entities, an alienlike crustacean with a gold carapace tried to request something to him, yet he was cut off by the angry Whale God.
"Shut up. Be quiet. I'm thinking of a better way, son!" Rudrasaum yelled in the midst of his tantrum, looking around for something...
"Hmph, you three should leave until I tell you to get back here. Destroying my world to create another seems quite boring enough, and I want to be left alone for a moment..." Rudrasaum spoke out, as after a few moments, the three entities are gone.
The Space Whale God sighed in relief, finally gaining alone time in a thousand and several hundred years.
"Now, where were we? I wanted to put something different in the world of living mortals above, so... how about summoning someone from a different world?"
Rudrasaum's pupils shrank in realization and enlightenment as he began to use his space whale powers to look into different universes.
"There's one boy in spiky blonde hair who I'd like to play with, but he's too strong and might not cause too much chaos... no, definitely not him. How about a random JAPANese person? No way, he looks boring. How about I just bring back a certain Archfiend of the past?"
After hours of searching and watching different worlds, counting to a hundred, the easily bored Rudrasaum finally found a certain someone that looked more interesting than the rest.
"A skeleton? He looks like an Archfiend enough, he even has powerful Fiends under his command!" Rudrasaum spoke in pure interest, nodding his head up and down like an excited child.
"I see! I don't know how powerful he is, but the strongest in the world he resides is as powerful as me, and that's scary... I don't wanna have something like that here..." He remarked, before beginning to use whatever he could to displace the scary skeleton, who you know as Momonga or Ainz for short to somewhere up above.
And that is how Momonga arrived to this world, along with his Guild Weapon and World Class Throne. Strangely enough, Momonga put the throne inside his inventory in pure instinct, too.
It's as if there were no restrictions to be placed into him.
Confused, the Overlord began to set out on a journey to know where he actually was, and his journey will be massive.
Untill...
[ ~ Line • Broken ~ ]
"... Miki, where is she..."
A young teenager by the name of Kentarou Ogawa muttered to himself, as he began to walk through a completely unfamiliar forest in search for the girl named Miki.
If you thought he was an otherworldly person, you were actually right, as he was from a war-torn Earth, where he and his girlfriend lived together as simple high school students.
Until that day when a two-faced "Dracula" and his assistant snatched his girlfriend, Miki Kurusu to another world.
In the last moment, he followed then through a portal they made, only to arrive in a forest where he began to look for clues at where Miki is.
He met several people, talked to trees rocks, and rivers (like he normally did in his childhood). But...
He became seriously unlucky when he met "Death". What he thought of as a midboss immediately became like a final boss when the feeling of death engulfed him.
His tall figure already intimidated Kentarou, not to mention his massive purple robes almost covering the skeletal body behind it, and a glowing red crystal orb floating on his abdomen.
Kentarou even had to look up to see "Death" eye-to-eye, and even then, there was nothing but empty eyesockets and red orbs that seemed to stare deep in his soul, reading it as if it was it's judge.
His tall, regal staff floated beside him, too. Kentarou couldn't help but feel like it was completely sentient.
"W-Who are you...?"
Kentarou asked, and due to knowing there was absolutely no way he could damage such a being, it was useless to fight back.
"I..."
It seemed to pause for a moment, before staring deep into his eyes.
"I am Ainz Ooal Gown, an Overlord, the highest of the undead! But you may call me Ainz. State your name, and your intentions."
The moment he introduced himself, Kentarou had to gather up his wits and hastily introduce himself too.
"I'm Kentarou Ogawa, a student! Nice to meet you! I am from another world known as Earth, and I came here to rescue my childhood friend, Miki!"
Once he told him that, Ainz looked to have contemplated what he said, yet suddenly a
his skeletal hand grabbed Kentarou's face.
"[Control Amnesia]" Was the only thing he heard before his consciousness dimmed.
Meanwhile, Ainz is also as confused as him, seeing that Kentarou's world looked very different from his Earth through his memories.
And after a few more seconds of seeing the teenage boy's memories, Ainz had already decided what to do.
Holding the unconscious boy on his large, skeletal arms, Ainz remembered his past as a young little teenager trying his best to live.
He did had a mother who worked hard for his needs, yet later on, she had died due to overexhaustion from work.
Ainz, or Satoru in the past was devastated that time, and he was always longing on how being a teenager would be.
Once he shook himself out of those thoughts, the Overlord took out a ring from his [Inventory] and looked at the three stars engraved on it.
This was a Divine Class Item, also known as [Shooting Stars] , which grants only three wishes, though EXP can still be spent to strengthen those wishes, too. Thankfully he has been grinding really hard on the [Gacha] to obtain dozens of them.
Plus, he still has a lot of extra EXP from all his small adventures grinding for EXP, Gold, and Items in YGGDRASIL. The only problem was it was very useless in other stuff like after death, which kindly reset it.
He doesn't really mind using it now since he hasn't once died for one month straight.
But...
"My current body is fine enough, who knows if there are powerful entities who could kill me if I possess such a boy. So I suppose I'll have to modify his memories a little bit." Ainz said, scratching his bony head, using [Control Amnesia] again to make the boy think that he was just a wandering warrior in heavy, black armor.
Using [Greater Create Item] he equipped himself with the same armor in Kentarou's modified memory.
However...
In another place, tenseness was all that was present, as a somewhat feminine young man knelt towards a two-faced old man, looking haphazardly towards him.
He was Ramon C. Burksham, a Fiend whose clairvoyance surpassed all living in The Continent. The only thing was, he was incredibly enigmatic, and none knew of his
"... Inescapable death approaches you milord! You must make haste in succeeding your position as Archfiend to the girl!"
Ramon's tone was that of great urgency, as if he didn't like what would happen in the future if ever Gai didn't succeed in turning the girl into his successor.
"I see..."
In a few hours, the girl will wake up, but due to the danger that would approach him, he had no other choice. His power was dwindling much quicker than it was supposed to be years ago. Although he was the 6th Archfiend, his life was quite literally, about to be over if he doesn't pass down his title.
And, if he was too late, he actually feared that somebody who has good synergy with his blood would possibly become like the previous, most horrible Archfiend in existence, enslaving the world while he or she ruled over it as the strongest being in the world
That's why haste was needed.
"Send monsters to block their path, he must be slowed down. Perhaps send Gal Monsters to try seducing him, too."
Gai commanded, as Ramon proceeded to follow his commands easily, and he would use his clairvoyance to know what strategies he would use.
Questions arose from his mind as he thought about who this person may be, that boy couldn't be from Dimension 3E2, right? Why does he have a partner with him?

Author's Commentary: I'll just explain what the Rance Series is here. It's basically a game series made by Alicesoft (Maker of Evenicle 1 and 2), and obviously it's an H-JRPG chronicling the Main Protagonist, Rance's adventures.
Be wary that the MC has the mindset of a manchild, and his determination is only fueled by sex and the desire to get a harem for himself AND himself only, some exceptions though, (Literally 75~% of fanfiction is focused on this aspect so... whatever)
But, he's not the worst character in the series actually. Despite that I kinda dislike him, really.
Extra Notes:
Protagonist Race - An alternative name for the race of humans.
Antagonist Race - Monsters, in general. Led by the Archfiend and his/her fiends.
