The Knight of Andromeda walked down the well-furnished carpet of the Kiske family manor, his toned arms carrying a tall stack of finished homework books that were reserved for the heir of the family.
Currently, his task was to deliver the books to Ky's office so he could review them to see his son's current progress with his education. After that, Shun would be done for the day.
The green haired teen let out a sigh of relief once his emerald green eyes saw the open door of Ky's office. That was one worry taken care of.
Keeping the stack of books nice and stable against his chest, he walked in.
"Oh! Hello there, Shun!"
Shun craned his head to get a better look at the blue haired matriarch of the Kiske family, who he wasn't expecting to see at this very moment.
Nonetheless, he greeted her with a smile. He loved the warm company the matriarch brought with her. Then again, this was Dizzy he was referring to. It wasn't difficult for anyone to feel warm around her thanks to her angelic personality and soft attitude.
"Hey there Dizzy! I wasn't expecting to see you here!" The young man responded with a small chuckle.
"I could say the same." The matriarch responded with a chuckle of her own. Her warm demeanor quickly changed to concern once she was aware of the young man struggling to carry the tall stack of books.
"Oh, sweetie... let me help you with that."
Not being the type to reject her compassion, Shun complied.
He carefully handed her the stack of books, the matriarch also careful to not topple the wobbling stack.
In a passing moment, the stack was held in the firm grasp of Dizzy's arms before they were placed on the wooden surface of her husband's desk.
"Thank you for the help, Dizzy." The Bronze Saint thanked her with a formal bow. A courteous gesture that she was quick to dismiss.
"It's simply apart of my nature, Shun. I want to help those who need it."
That statement alone was the reason why the citizens of Illyria were glad she was their queen. Her selflessness and compassion would always give this cruel world the hope for a better future.
"You are far too kind, Dizzy."
The only queen of Illyria laughed lightly to the comment she has received various times. "So I've been told."
The Knight of Andromeda let out a light laugh of his own. "Well, I'll be heading back home now. See you tomorrow, Dizzy!" Giving her a goodbye wave, Shun began to make his exit.
"Shun!"
pThe green haired teen halted his movement and turned to hear what Dizzy wanted to ask, only for his eyes to meet her concerned gaze. It made him curious, and a little bit axious, to receive the incoming question.
He did not have to wait long for her to share her current thoughts.
"Have you ate anything today?"
The question caught Shun a bit off guard. His curiosity slowly transitioning to confusion.
Though he didn't let his growing confusion stop him from answering honestly. "I did. After me and Sin finished our fifth book, he insisted that we cook ourselves something for lunch."
"I see..."
The Knight of Andromeda was further confused. It wasn't too hard for him to deduce that Dizzy was contemplating which specific choice was best for this moment. But rather than waiting, he decided that it would be best to clear the fog and get answers.
"Dizzy... is there a reason you're asking me this?"
The matriarch of the Kiske family brought her attention back to him and laid her answer: "It's just... you look a bit thin, Shun."
Naturally, he responded with a look of surprise. "I am?"
Dizzy was not completely wrong about that statement. Shun, compared to the rest of the Saints, had a more thinner physique. Though that did not automatically label him as the weakest.
Everyone who has fought him knew better than to underestimate his combat prowess.
"You haven't taken notice?" The matriarch found it a bit worrying how Shun did not take notice of any possible signs of malnutrition.
"I did. But I'm not bothered by it." The Knight of Andromeda simply shrugged off her worries.
A response that was unacceptable for the Queen of Illyria to hear.
"I hope I don't sound too judgemental when I say this," She then placed a hand on her chest to look more apologetic ",but your thin body worries me."
She was worried that he looked thin? She shouldn't be.
"I don't think I look too thin, Dizzy." Shun retorted.
"That may be true, but as a Queen who cares about the well-being of her people, I kindly suggest that you stay so I can prepare you a dish."
"You don't have to-"
The matriarch rose her hand to silence the young man's denial. "I just want to give you the proper nourishment for your physical health, Shun. That's all."
The Queen of Illyria didn't have to go to such lengths for him, yet she can't stop herself from doing so. And it wasn't due to her genuine kindess, but her motherly instincts demanding that she give the boy a proper meal.
Seeing that Dizzy wasn't going to take no for an answer, and because Shun wasn't the type to reject a person's compassionate offer, the green haired teen accepted with a nod.
"I guess I can stay here for a bit longer. What will you be making?"
"Whatever it is that you want." She offered with her signature warm inducing smile.
