Okay, everyone, please tell me what you think of this one!

Again the first couple of chapters of each story I write is like a sample to see if you all think it's worth continuing.

If you think it's not, let me know, and I'll take it down.

This one is rated M, just like most of my stories, and yes, there will be Lemons and smut later on.

Not yet, though. In later chapters, there will be some uncomfortable situations that many usually don't like to read about.

But anyway.

I do NOT own Fairy Tail or its characters!

Now on with the show!

Dreams are like a looking glass into the heart and soul.

But what if Dreams were like a Looking Glass into the future?

Could a dream really save people's lives?

Could a dream predict what's to come?

Or is it just that?

Just a Dream.

It was hazy like a thick mist had covered the area. She couldn't see anything beyond her own hand. She walked briefly, only the sound of her boots hitting the white floor. She was getting nowhere, just walking around aimlessly.

"Hello!?" She called out.

All she heard was her echo. It was definitely strange. It felt real but also like a dream.

'Am I dreaming?' She thought to herself.

"I'm sorry to have invaded your mind like this, but I need to speak to you."

The voice she heard was her own, which she found strange. She looked around and saw a dark hooded figure walking toward her.

"Who are you?!" She asked, taking a step back when the figure came into view.

They were wearing a black cloak with white trimming. She watched as they removed the hood, and she couldn't believe her eyes. It was...

'ME?!' She thought to herself.

"I know you may find this odd, but I need you to listen to me." Her dream self said.

"Okay, I think I'm definitely going crazy. I've officially been around Natsu way too long." She muttered to herself.

"If it were only that simple." Her dream self said, shaking her head as tears fell from her eyes.

"Why are you crying?!" She practically shouted.

Her own words echo in the space around them.

"Where I come from, everyone is dead." Her dream self said.

"What do you mean, dead?" She asked, horrified.

"You may not believe me, but I can prove what I'm saying is true." Her dream self said.

"Go on." She said cautiously as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I came here from the future. There is only one way we can change the future I came from." Her dream self said.

"The future?" She asked, confused.

"Yes. Not that far into the future, I might add. After the games ended, Fairy Tail was announced as the winner when." She paused and took a deep breath. "The Dragons attacked." Her dream self said, her voice cold and hard.

"Dragons?!" She shouted. "You can't be serious! The Dragons disappeared years ago! There's no way that Dragons attack! I knew I was crazy, but this really takes the cake!" She ranted, throwing her arms out.

"This is No joke. I'm serious. If you don't believe me, talk to Master about Fairy Tail Team B." Her dream self said, confusing her even more.

"What do you mean, team B?" She asked.

"Master sends a second secret team to the games to ensure Fairy Tail made the final cut." Her dream self said.

"Master wouldn't do that without informing us!" She snapped.

"But yet he does. Ask him about it if you don't believe me. The team consists of Mira, Juvia, Gajeel, Mystogan, and Laxus. Mystogan then gets replaced by Cana." Her dream self said.

"Msytogan? But he's not on Earthland anymore." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest again.

Her dream self shook her head. "Master has Jellal fill in as Mystogan since it was the other Jellal that was originally Mystogan." Her dream self said.

"Okay, say I asked, and he confirmed this. How do I change your future? Our future?" She asked.

"Have master change up the teams, have him switch you with Juvia. Also, you need to train, do NOT rely on Urano Metria. It fails us!" Her dream self said with a sob.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Raven Tail." Her dream self whispered.

"What is Raven Tail?" She asked.

Her dream self looked up at her with hardened eyes. "It's a guild run by Ivan Dreyar. The Master's son. He has one of his members hurt Wendy by draining her magic, don't let anyone, especially her, travel alone. Then we get defeated by another member because they cheat. But we can't prove it. That's where Urano Metria fails. Don't rely on it." Her dream self said with conviction.

"Then what do I use? It's the most powerful spell I know." She said.

She looked in thought. "Jellal. Master's going to have him in the games anyway. Ask Jellal to help you train! Both of you use similar magic. You can learn his." Her dream self said.

"Do you really think he will train me? And what spell?" She asked.

"He will. Have him teach you..." She paused in thought. "Grand Chariot." Her dream self said with a smirk."Oh. Before you wake up, there's a communication Lacrima in your bag. Use it when you're done training." Her dream self said.

"Who do I call? And how is there one in my bag?" She asked.

"Call Laxus, ask him to come and get you..." Her dream self's voice echoed before the dream faded.

Lucy bolted upright, breathing heavily in a panic. The dream felt so real like she was really talking to herself. Which sounded crazy, Right?

'Dragons? Everyone's dead? But how?!' Lucy asked herself internally. 'It couldn't hurt to do as she says. Or I say. I don't know. It confuses me to think about it.' Lucy continued internally as she looked over the hotel room and watched as Erza, Wendy, Levy, and Juvia slept. 'None of them can know.' She finally decided.

Sighing, she stood up and got dressed. She grabbed her bag and headed to the door. She opened the door to step out but stopped and took one more glance back.

"I'm sorry. But I have to do this." She whispered before closing the door behind me.

Now it was time to find Jellal.

Lucy was walking through the forest when she came to the once again broken bridge.

She stared at the other side. "I need to cross!" She said sternly.

And as she had suspected, the bridge began to rebuild itself. She smiled and quickly crossed. She walked some more until she came to a beach that was quite a distance, now that she thought about it.

"Lucy?" Meredy asked in surprise, with a bun sticking out of her mouth, when she spotted the petite blonde come out of the treeline.

"Hey, guys!" Lucy waved as the other two members turned to look at her.

They all sat around a campfire in the middle of the beach. "What can we do for you, Lucy?" Ultear asked with a small smile.

Lucy took a deep breath. "I need to talk to Jellal." She said seriously.

Jellal raised an eyebrow. "I'm listening." He said with a slight tilt of his head.

"I..." Lucy started but cleared her throat to try and sound more serious. "I need your help. I know this may sound crazy, but I need you to believe me." Lucy pleaded.

Jellal looked like he was studying her. "Go on." Jellal pushed with a nod of his head.

"I guess you could say I had a strange dream, and because of that, I have an awful feeling about the upcoming games." Lucy started to say.

"Okay?" Jellal asked, confused. "What does a dream have to do with anything?" He asked.

"You're the only one who has magic similar to mine. And I need more than Urano Metria as a trump card." Lucy swallowed thickly. "Could you train me?" She asked pleadingly.

Jellal's eyes widened as he choked on the drink that he had just taken. "What?!" He asked, eyeing the blonde carefully.

"Please?" Lucy whispered. "I can't let them down. In my dream, I failed them. I can't fail them! Please! Jellal, I need your help!" Her voice was getting louder to almost yelling, but she couldn't stop the tears from flowing as she fell to my knees.

"Why me?!" He asked.

"As I said earlier, you're magic is the most similar to mine. I thought maybe it would be easier to be trained by you." Lucy explained, her fists shaking in the sand.

She didn't know how long everyone sat there. But it felt like forever that Jellal stared at her with wide eyes.

"Why not Jellal?" Ultear asked, looking into her crystal orb with a shrug.

"Would it work?" Jellal asked, looking to Ultear.

Ultear nodded. "She's right. Your magic is the closest to hers." Ultear giggled.

Yes, she actually giggled.

Jellal sighed. "How many days do you have to train?" Jellal asked.

"Maybe a week." Lucy said.

"Alright. But you'll have to stay here until at least the day before unless you learn everything before then. Can you get back all right when we're done?" Jellal asked.

Lucy acted like she was thinking about it. There was no way she could tell him that her supposed future self told her to do all this, especially to call Laxus. Of all people, why Laxus? And would he even do it? Why would he do it? She was just the weak little newbie to him.

Lucy nodded. "Yeah." She said, even though she wasn't sure if Laxus would.

"All right. Let's get started after we eat." Jellal said, moving over to let Lucy sit.

They were almost done eating when Lucy's lacrima comm went off. She had actually forgotten that she had one with her. She picked it up and saw someone she dreaded.

'How the hell did she even know I had one on me?' Lucy asked internally. Lucy gulped. "Hi, Erza!" She said, making sure Jellal and the others couldn't be seen.

"Lucy? Where are you? We've been looking for you everywhere. Natsu and Wendy said they couldn't find your scent anywhere." Erza asked.

"Oh! Uh! Um! Yeah, well, I decided to get some training done, and I want to do it alone. Natsu tends to annoy me when I'm trying to train, so I thought it would be easier to train away from him." Lucy said, then thought about something. "How did you know I have a Lacrima Comm with me?" She asked.

"You left a note saying to contact you on it if we needed you." Erza said, confusing her, but she didn't let it show.

"Oh! Right! I forgot! Okay, well, I got to go. I'll be gone for a while, so don't try looking for me! Bye!" Lucy said before waving to her and cutting the connection before she could respond.

Jellal chuckled. "You didn't tell Erza?" He asked.

Lucy shook my head and sighed. "She would have never let me leave. And she would have most likely followed me here, so I decided to come on my own when they were sleeping. Not to mention she'd be against this." She explained.

"It is Erza." Jellal said with a slight shiver.

"Jellal?" Lucy asked. He hummed his reply. "There's one spell, in particular, I want you to teach me." She said, closing her eyes.

"Which one would that be?" He asked softly.

"Grand Chariot." Lucy answered as she opened her eyes to look him dead in his eyes.

"Are you sure?" He asked. Lucy nodded. "All right. If you're sure, I think you'd be able to learn it." Jellal said reassuringly.

Lucy smiled and nodded. And that's how her training began. It wasn't a walk in the park either. He's even worse than Erza when it comes to training, in her opinion. But she was determined. She needed this!

'I can't let my guild down! I won't let my family down!' Lucy said internally.

It's been a week since Lucy started training with Jellal. And it wasn't easy.

"AGAIN!" Jellal yelled as he came at Lucy.

She attempted to perform Grand Chariot and failed each one.

He swung his punch at her, and she grabbed his wrist as she moved to the outside, where it barely missed her. She pulled his arm forward, flipping herself behind him while bringing him over her shoulder and flinging him across the beach. Using his body as a springboard, she launched herself into the air.

He landed on his feet, but she was gone when he turned back to where she was standing. She watched him look around frantically, trying to find her.

While in the air, she placed both arms on top of each other, with the top hand having only the index and middle fingers spread out. Seven Magic Seals formed in the sky above Jellal and connected, creating a constellation.

"May The Seven Stars Cast Judgement Upon You! Grand Chariot!" Lucy shouted as the seals released the beams of light.

Each Magic Seal released a powerful blast of light onto Jellal, forming the same pattern on the ground before exploding.

Lucy landed after the explosion falling to her hands and knees, panting, trying to catch her breath.

"She did it!" She heard Meredy squeal excitedly.

"She did." Ultear said with a nod, and Lucy could hear the smile in her voice.

Lucy heard coughing, making her turn her head slightly. She saw Jellal with his clothes torn, almost to shreds.

"Impressive." Jellal said with a cough. "Fourth time's the charm, I guess. My question is, when did you have time to write the seals?" Jellal chuckled.

Lucy was just tired. She felt like she got run over by a damn train.

"Thanks." Lucy panted out. "I didn't. Gemini did it for me." She said as sweat dripped off her forehead and nose. Lucy could feel her arms and legs wobble like they were both about to give out on her. But she didn't hit the ground. She felt two pairs of arms around hers as they lifted her and brought her over to sit. "I'm fine. Give me a second, and we can try again." Lucy said weakly as they dragged her.

"No. You rest for now. We both need it." Jellal said as he stood up and walked over to the cave.

"That was great! I didn't think you could do it! Boy, did you prove us all wrong!" Meredy said.

"Not all of us. I knew she would with time." Ultear said.

"Jellal's magic will take more of your own magic to use, though." Meredy said a bit worriedly.

"I know. Only because I'm not used to it, and I don't have that much magic power, to begin with." Lucy said, leaning her head against Meredy's shoulder.

"You tried doing that attack four times before you got it! Jellal can't even use it that many times in a row!" Meredy giggled.

"No, I can't. And I don't recommend using it like that, either. Use it as a last resort, Lucy." Jellal said as he sat down in brand-new clothes.

"Why do you look like Mystogan?" Lucy asked, fighting the urge to close her eyes.

"I'll explain it in the morning. Sleep, Lucy." Jellal chuckled.

Lucy didn't even realize that she did close her eyes because the next thing she knew, she was shaken awake.

"Hm?" Lucy mumbled as she rubbed my eyes.

She was lying on a sleeping mat inside the cave.

"Time to get up! Jellal said you only have two days before the games, so you got to get going." Meredy said with a smile.

Lucy groaned but got up and threw on shorts and a tank top before heading out of the cave.

"You missed your team. They left already." Ultear said, looking like she was out of breath.

"Wait. What?! How?! They weren't leaving until tomorrow!" Lucy asked in shock.

"I went to inform them of you being here since you're Lacrima comm has been going off all day yesterday and this morning, and when I got there, they were gone." Ultear explained.

"Great." Lucy groaned. "I was really hoping I could avoid contacting this person." She grumbled as she pulled out her lacrima comm.

"Who?" Meredy asked curiously.

Lucy took a deep breath before releasing it. She held the lacrima comm in her hand and sent a pulse of magic through it.

"Laxus." Lucy said as the other three around her jaws dropped open while the call connected.

"Lucy?" Evergreen answered, confused as she blinked like she was seeing things.

Lucy gulped. "Hey, Evergreen, is Laxus there?" She asked, nervously scratching the back of her head.

"Uh. Yes. Why?" Evergreen asked with a tilt of her head.

Lucy chewed her bottom lip. "Could I talk to him, please?" Lucy asked, letting her bangs cover her eyes.

Evergreen raised an eyebrow but shrugged. "All right. LAXUS!" Evergreen yelled somewhere behind her.

"What?" Lucy heard an annoyed grunt from the other side.

Evergreen smirked. "You have a call." She giggled as she handed the comm over, sending Lucy a wink.

Lucy was confused until Laxus stepped into view. He looked just as shocked as Evergreen.

"Blondie?" He asked with a raised eyebrow like Evergreen just did.

Lucy sighed, ignoring the dumb nickname. "Hey, Laxus. Um. Could I ask you a favor?" She asked, scratching the back of her head.

"I guess." He said warily. "What is it?" Laxus asked.

Lucy swallowed thickly. "Would you be able to come and get me? Erza, Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Levy, and Wendy all left without me." Lucy said, refusing to meet his gaze.

Lucy was expecting him to laugh and make some rude and snide remarks.

But instead, she heard him sigh. "Show me where you are so I know where I'm teleporting to." He said to her surprise.

"Really!?" Lucy asked excitedly. He nodded. "Oh, Thank you!" Lucy smiled as she stood up to show him the beach she was at, leaving out the three that stood off to the side.

"You're by Akane?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

Lucy nodded. "We decided to go to the beach to train. Long story." She said awkwardly.

He sighed again. "Fine. I'll be there soon." He said before there was a clap of thunder that echoed through the lacrima.

All she saw on the other side were a set of heels walking towards it. "He's so rude." Evergreen grumbled as she picked it up and waved with a smile before the connection was cut.

Before Lucy could even say anything, there was another thunderclap behind her, making her jump and shriek as she fell to the sand. But what was weird was she didn't feel herself hit the ground. Instead, she felt an arm around her waist as she hung in the air.

"I didn't think you'd fall for me that quickly, Blondie." Laxus chuckled, setting her right on her feet.

Lucy glared at him. "You're blonde too, idiot." Lucy grumbled before giggling, shaking her head, and sending him a smile. "Thanks for coming to get me, Laxus." She said gratefully.

"Laxus." Jellal asked, walking over to them.

Laxus looked surprised as he blinked a few times. "Mystogan?" Laxus asked, confused with a slight tilt of his head.

Lucy giggled. "Nope, this is our world's Jellal." She said as Laxus shook his head.

"Okay then. I'm not even going to ask why you're with him." Laxus said with a sigh.

"I would like to speak with your master if I could." Jellal asked calmly.

Laxus nodded. "All right, I don't see why not." Laxus said with a shrug putting his hand on his shoulder.

"I'll meet you both at the games." Jellal said to Ultear and Meredy, who both nodded.

Laxus wrapped his arm around Lucy's waist and pulled her against him. "Is this necessary?" Lucy asked, crossing her arms over her chest as she glared at him.

Laxus just shrugged. "No." He said before the sound of a thunderclap.

Lucy felt like she was flying through the air before her feet hit the ground again. She wobbled slightly as she held her head. She felt a bit dizzy.

"I wonder where Laxus disappeared to." Mira asked out loud.

"Last I saw, he was talking to Lucy." Evergreen said as she filed her nails.

"Lucy? As is our Lucy?" Mira asked, surprised with a certain sparkle in her eyes.

"Don't even think about it, Mira. It's Miss. Lucy, we're talking about. She's got Natsu." Freed said in amusement.

"But they would be so cute." Mira whined with a pout as she sunk down, resting her chin on her crossed arms on the bar.

Makarov raised an eyebrow at the comment as he had his mug to his mouth. "I'd never allow it." Makarov stated before taking a drink.

"Why, master?" Mira asked, confused.

"Because I know my grandson. And like Freed pointed out, this is Lucy you're talking about." Makarov explained.

"You know he's changed." Freed argued.

"That may be true, but I bet he hasn't changed his way with women now, has he?" Makarov asked, putting the mug down on the counter.

"Honestly, I haven't seen him with anyone in a while. And we're with him every day." Evergreen said with a shrug.

"The answer is still no." Makarov stated, closing his eyes only to jump and shriek as he fell to the floor at the sudden sound of a thunderclap and the crash of lightning that landed before him.

"Speak of the devil, and he shall appear!" Cana howled drunkenly, raising her hand with a mug in the air.

Three figures appeared after the lightning disappeared. Laxus held Lucy close, her hand against his chest, gripping his shirt. His other hand was on Mystogan's shoulder?

Everyone blinked and stared at the three newcomers.

"Wow. I don't think I'd ever get used to that." Lucy mumbled with a shake of her head.

"Don't get used to it. I'm not your personal taxi." Laxus said with a smirk.

His tone was playful, which surprised the others around them. Lucy smirked with a raised eyebrow as she looked up at him.

"Well... You do have yellow hair. So that should count." Lucy said in amusement. Laxus playfully glared at her with a growl. Lucy stuck her tongue out at him as she pushed away from him and ran over to her group that was watching with wide eyes. "You Guys! How could you leave me like that?!" Lucy whined.

Makarov jumped back up to the bar and glared at his grandson, but before he could scold him, another voice interrupted him.

"Master Makarov." Jellal bowed in greeting.

Makarov tilted his head slightly. "Jellal, I presume?" Makarov asked.

"Yes, master." Jellal said, sounding slightly nervous.

"Hey, Natsu! Gray just called you a pansy!" Lucy yelled before a brawl broke out between both Gray and Natsu.

Some of the others decided to join while Lucy snickered and snuck back to where Master and Laxus were.

"You don't have to call me Master, you know?" Makarov said with a raised eyebrow.

"I know. But I need to fit the part if I ask this of you." Jellal started before Lucy bounced up to them.

"Ask me what exactly?" Makarov asked.

"Not here." Jellal said, looking around him and noticing Erza occupied with the brawling guild mates.

Makarov nodded. "This way, then." Makarov said as he moved towards an office in the back. Lucy grabbed Laxus' sleeve and pulled him with her as she followed Makarov and Jellal. Makarov stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder. "Lucy? Do you need something, child?" Makarov asked with a raised eyebrow.

The look on Lucy's face was grave and calm, something that Lucy's face hardly ever showed. "I need to speak to you about something." Lucy said coldly.

Again Makarov was surprised for more than one reason.

One, Lucy was serious, and Two, Lucy was also across the bar scolding Gray and Natsu.

Makarov's head swung back and forth in confusion.

Lucy pointed to the other Lucy. "Gemini." Lucy said lowly.

Makarov nodded, still confused but shrugged and continued walking.

"So, what is this all about?" Makarov asked once he was seated and looking at the other three in the office.

"Don't look at me. I have no clue why I was dragged in here." Laxus grumbled, glaring at Lucy, who was staring straight ahead at Makarov.

"I'll get straight to the point then, Master. You're letting Jellal join Fairy Tail in the games as Mystogan." Lucy said sternly, not leaving any room for arguments, surprising both Laxus and Jellal, who was planning on asking to join in the first place.

"And how would you like me to do that if you and your team are going?" Makarov asked.

Lucy smirked. "Don't try to lie to me, Master. You're going to put Mystogan on Fairy Tail Team B, along with Mira, Juvia, Gajeel, and Laxus." Lucy said sweetly, making everyone's, including Jellal's, jaws drop.

"H-H-How!?" Makarov asked, stunned.

"Don't worry about that, master. But you are, and you're also going to do something else." Lucy said, making Makarov raise an eyebrow in question. "You're going to switch Juvia and me." Lucy said.

"WHAT!" All three men shouted at once.

"You heard me. Did I stutter?" Lucy asked as she crossed her arms over her chest and cocked her hip.

"N-N-No. B-B-But..." Makarov tried to come up with a comeback but was coming up blank.

Lucy sighed. "Trust me. Tell Team Natsu that you're sending Juvia with them instead of me. That you don't believe I'm ready." Lucy said.

"Can you explain to me why?" Makarov asked, trying to get a read on what she was thinking.

"If I tell you, would you actually believe me?" Lucy asked.

"Your dream?" Jellal asked, and Lucy nodded.

"What dream?" Makarov asked.

Lucy took a deep breath before letting it out. "About a week ago, I had a strange dream..." Lucy began telling them all about what had happened in her dream.

By the time she stopped talking, everyone was looking at her with disbelief.

"You've got to be crazy if you think Dragons will invade Earthland." Laxus chuckled, shaking his head. But he stopped after looking at her face. 'She's serious.' Laxus thought to himself.

"Okay. Say we believe you. What do you suggest we do?" Makarov asked, stroking his mustache.

"Make the changes I requested." Lucy said with a sigh.

"Are you sure this will be enough to change whatever future you were told about?" Makarov asked.

"That's what she told me." Lucy said.

Laxus sighed. "So, I guess she's on my team, then?" Laxus asked, leaning against the wall.

Makarov nodded. "Looks like it, my boy." Makarov said.

Laxus rolled his eyes. "Great. You do realize Natsu is going to have a fit?" Laxus asked.

"Let me handle Natsu." Lucy started turning towards the door.

"I'll announce it when I'm done here." Makarov said with a sigh.

Lucy nodded before walking out the door, closing it behind her.

"Do you believe her?" Laxus asked.

"It's Lucy. Why would she lie to us?" Makarov asked.

"Master's right, it's Lucy. She doesn't normally lie. Actually, I've never heard or seen her lie in the time I've known her." Jellal said with a shrug.

Laxus sighed. "I guess you have a point." Laxus stated.

"Now, let's get this over with, shall we?" Makarov asked in dread.

Laxus chuckled. "Should I get the fire extinguisher or the hose?" Laxus asked as they walked towards the door.

"Make sure Juvia is nearby." Makarov grumbled, making Laxus snort.

Lucy walked out of the room and down the hall and hid around the corner, watching Gemini Lucy holding up her top.

"Natsu! You idiot! Why would you do that!?" Gemini-Lucy scolded as she stomped away.

"I'm sorry, Luce!" Natsu whined from behind her.

Lucy giggled as Gemini-Lucy walked around the corner and stopped beside her just as the three men exited the office.

"He's a damn menace." Gemini-Lucy growled. "Now we have to change." Gemini-Lucy pouted before changing back into the two blue floating creatures.

Lucy giggled. "I'll go change, and you guys head back. And thank you!" Lucy said with a smile as she waved at them before they disappeared. Lucy sighed. "Now to go find clothes." Lucy grumbled, cursing Natsu as she turned around to head back to the office.

Before she could make it three steps, Virgo appeared with the sound of a doorbell and a flash of light.

"Princess. Gemini told me of your situation, and I have brought you new clothes." Virgo said with a bow holding out a small pile of clothes.

"Thank you, Virgo." Lucy smiled before taking the pile of clothes.

Virgo bowed again before disappearing.

"That must come in handy." Laxus said with a teasing tone.

Lucy rolled her eyes. "It's not like I asked her to. But I guess she likes to be helpful." Lucy said with a shrug before walking back into the office to change.

Makarov eyed the door with a grin on his face. Before he could take a step, Laxus grabbed the back of his coat and dragged him away.

"Don't even think about it, old man." Laxus growled, walking back to where everyone was still laughing, drinking, and brawling again.

"Stick in the mud." Makarov grumbled with his arm crossed over his chest.

Laxus rolled his eyes. "Get over it, you old pervert." Laxus said, depositing him on a stool at the bar.

Jellal stood in the back behind them and chuckled lightly.

"Natsu, you're such a jerk. How could you burn Lucy's clothes like that!?" Lisanna scolded.

"I didn't mean to." Natsu grumbled with a pout.

"How does he not smell the difference between Blondie and the spirit version of her?" Laxus asked, shaking his head.

"You do?" Lucy asked as she came out from the back office, startling him slightly.

She was now dressed in a white pleated skirt and a purple tank with her hair half up in pigtails.

Laxus nodded. "Yeah. They have a metal-like smell to them as well as it's mixed with some fruit." Laxus said with a shrug.

"Didn't know that." Lucy mused. "Has master told them yet?" Lucy asked, taking a seat next to Laxus at the bar.

"The place is still in one piece. What do you think?" Laxus chuckled.

"Great. He could have told them while I was changing. Trust me. I wouldn't have minded one bit." Lucy groaned.

Laxus chuckled. "Nope, he wanted to wait till you were here. He didn't want you to leave him to clean up the mess Natsu makes." Laxus said, leaning back against the bar with his elbows behind him.

"Greeeeaaat." Lucy rolled her eyes.

"Attention, everyone!" Master Makarov yelled as he stood on the bar. Once everyone paused, and the attention was on him, he cleared his throat. "Now, then, I have an announcement. I have chosen the team to go to the games." Makarov gave a pause for effect. He grinned when Laxus rolled his eyes. "The team going is Team Natsu!" Makarov shouted. But before Team Natsu could say anything. "But!" He paused again as team Natsu paused in their celebration. "I'm adding Juvia to your team." Makarov said.

"That'd be too many people, Master." Erza said with a raised eyebrow. "Is she our extra, like a stand-in?" Erza asked.

"No." Makarov said, closing his eyes. "She's replacing Lucy." Makarov said calmly.

As expected, all Hell broke loose.

"You can't be serious! Lucy's part of our team! You can't do that!" Natsu went on a rampage.

Lucy sighed. "I knew this would happen." Lucy muttered to herself.

But of course, Laxus being a dragon slayer, definitely heard her.

"Now, now Natsu, calm down." Makarov tried to calm him, but Natsu wasn't listening.

"How could you replace her!? She's part of our team! She belongs in the games with us!" Natsu continued to rant.

Lucy sighed before she got up and walked over to where Natsu was. She stopped directly in front of him, effectively stopping and silencing him.

"Natsu." Lucy said, stopping in front of him. "It's all right. Don't get mad at Master. It was my idea, actually." Lucy said with a smile confusing everyone in the room. "I told him I think I should sit this one out. I don't think I'm ready, despite all the training that I've done, I don't think I'm ready." Lucy explained.

"But Luce." Natsu whimpered.

"It's fine, Natsu. It was my idea to have Juvia take my place for the games. I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner, but I thought this was best for us to come out on top." Lucy said with a giggle.

"Are you sure about this, Lucy?" Erza asked, eyeing her skeptically.

Lucy nodded. "Yes, I'm very sure." Lucy confirmed firmly.

"Very well. We'll respect your choice." Erza said.

"Thank you, Erza." Lucy smiled before turning back to Natsu. "I'll be there cheering you on!" Lucy said, waving to Natsu, who was being pulled away by Erza.

"We'll be late if we don't move now." Erza said, dragging a dejected Natsu behind her.

Once the group was out of sight and earshot, Lucy sighed in relief.

"Are you sure about this child?" Makarov asked.

"Yes. I couldn't be more sure of something in my life." Lucy said before walking back to the bar stool, she had just left.

"Lucy." Mira called as she approached the bar with a frown. "Why don't you want to join your team?" Mira asked sadly.

"Because I can't." Lucy said, refusing to look at her.

"Master." Mira looked over to the small Fairy Tail master. "You were supposed to have Juvia join us." Mira whispered but trailed off when Lucy giggled.

"I already know about the secret second team that Master is sending." Lucy said with a sad smile.

"How do you know?" Mira gasped.

"I figured it out." Lucy said simply with a shrug. "When do we leave, Master?" Lucy asked, turning slightly in her seat to face him.

Makarov smirked. "In the morning, dear." Makarov said with a chuckle at Mira's shocked face. "Oh! And one more change to the team. Mystogan will be joining your team as well." Makarov added.

"Mystogan? But he's..." Mira trailed off as Mystogan exited the back room. "I'm so confused right now." Mira muttered.

Lucy giggled. "It's all right, Mira, I think everyone will be the same way when we get there, and they see him for themselves." Lucy said, poking Jellal's shoulder. "Even I thought he was an illusion when I first saw him in this outfit." Lucy said, gaining a glare from Jellal.

"I'm starting to think you like poking lions in a cage, Blondie." Laxus teased.

"If you want a lion, I can always call Loke..." Lucy started but was cut off by a flash of light that left behind Loke. "Speak of the devil." Lucy grumbled with a roll of her eyes.

"You called my love?" Loke said as he took her hand, kissing it as he bowed.

However, Lucy looked unamused and pulled her hand away from him. "I didn't, actually. You just happen to be one nosy lion." Lucy said, crossing her arms over her chest.

Loke looked around at the group and raised an eyebrow. The group itself was odd.

You had Mira, Laxus, Master Makarov, Mystogan?, which had him tilting his head slightly when he noticed him, Gajeel in the corner behind them, and then you had his key-holder sitting in the middle.

"Do I want to know why you are here and not with your team?" Loke asked his master.

"Long story. But I'm not going to the games with them. Juvia's taking my place, and I'm going with Team B's group." Lucy said.

"Team B? There's a Team B?" Loke asked.

"Yes. The games allow each guild to enter two teams doubling the chance of the guild being entered into the games." Makarov explained.

"Does Team A, I'm guessing you're calling it, know about Team B?" Loke asked.

Lucy shook her head. "No. Only I knew out of all of them." Lucy said, crossing one leg over the other as she leaned back against the bar on her elbows. "I convinced Master to switch Juvia and me." Lucy added when Loke raised an eyebrow in question.

"Juvia must be over the moon for that." Loke snickered.

Lucy giggled. "Probably, but I doubt Gray is. But he'll get over it. I think he secretly likes her too. But refuses to admit it." Lucy explained.

"This should be interesting to see how well you work with someone other than your team. Considering what everyone's thoughts of you are." Loke said, looking specifically at Laxus.

Laxus wanted to growl and rip his head off, but he sighed and looked away. He hated being reminded of his old self.

"Loke." Lucy said a warning in her tone as she shot a glare at him. "Enough. You know he's not the same as he was then. Leave him be." Lucy scolded.

Loke sighed but smiled adoringly at her. "Of course, Princess." Loke said before disappearing.

Laxus looked at Lucy in shock, and the same went for everyone else. They could tell that she was serious and meant every word. Laxus wanted to say something and thank her for defending him, but he didn't get a chance as she got up and headed for the door.

"I'll meet you all at the Station in the morning!" She called as she waved over her shoulder.

Once she was out the door, Mira turned and glared at the master. "Why would you switch her with Juvia? You've had this planned for weeks." Mira asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"As she said, it was her idea. She has a plan, and none of us had ever doubted her when it came to a plan before, have we?" Makarov asked.

"Well. No, I guess not. But still, Natsu will flip once he sees she's with us and not with them. All of them are going to. Are you sure you want to deal with that?" Mira asked.

"She said she will handle them, and I have faith in her. So should you, my dear." Makarov said, jumping down from the bar. "You all have to be up early so we can catch the train in the morning since the others left earlier." Makarov said before walking out the door.

"Tomorrow then." Jellal said, bowing his head slightly.

Mira and Laxus nodded at him as he, too, left.

"This should be interesting. Bunny won't go down easy, that's for sure." Gajeel chuckled.

"What do you mean?" Laxus asked.

Gajeel looked away and down at the floor. "I know because she never backs down. Even against me, she never did. She took everything I threw at her and still got back up on her feet. I didn't exactly go easy on her, either. Pretty sure I broke a few of her bones, but she never let it show." Gajeel said, remorse lacing his tone.

"Why did Gramps let you join if you did that to one of his children?" Laxus growled.

"I don't think she told him. I heard that old healer tell him there was gravel and nicks in her ribs and spine. He asked her about it, and she said this was from jumping out of the guild towers window." Gajeel explained. "But I know for a fact it was because of what I did to her." Gajeel said but couldn't finish what he was going to say because the next thing he knew, he was across the guild, indented into the wall.

"LAXUS!" Mira shouted as she saw Laxus with his fist stretched out as lightning crackled around it.

Gajeel coughed. "It's fine, demon. I think I deserved that." Gajeel chuckled lightly as he pushed himself out of the wall. "Feel better now?" Gajeel asked.

"No." Laxus growled. "But..." Laxus shook his head before he turned his back to him. "I guess I was no better, considering I almost shattered her after having her turned to stone." Laxus said with a sigh walking towards the door.

Once Laxus walked out, Mira looked at Gajeel, who had a look of guilt on his face. "She forgave you for it, didn't she?" Mira asked sadly. Gajeel nodded. "Without a second thought, am I right?" Mira asked. Again Gajeel nodded. "Then don't worry about it too much. It's Lucy, after all. She'd probably kick you across Magnolia if she heard you dwelling on it." Mira said with a smile.

Gajeel chuckled. "Yeah. She probably would. And those kicks of hers actually hurt." Gajeel joked as he walked over. "You okay heading home? I could walk you." Gajeel asked.

"I'm fine. I have to clean up, and then I'll be heading out. Don't worry about me." Mira said. Gajeel nodded before he left. "What is going on?" Mira asked herself out loud after thinking about everything that had happened today.

Lucy felt like she was floating. She opened her eyes and once again was surrounded by the thick fog.

"Now what?" Lucy whispered.

"The future depends on you." She heard the same voice as her last dream echo.

"I've already figured that out. Care to tell me what else should I do?" Lucy asked.

The figure in the black cloak walked forward, but her hood was already down this time. "The changes you made haven't shown yet, and it's still the same." Dream Lucy said.

"It'll take time. Ironically. Please tell me how everything goes so I know what to expect. The battles, The games, all of it." Lucy asked.

Dream Lucy nodded. "First, there is a maze you have to get through to make it into the games. It's like a trial to see who is worthy of joining the games. Team A made it, but just barely. We came in last place, eighth place. Only eight teams can enter. We are the only Guild that both teams made the final cut." Dream Lucy said.

Lucy nodded. "Alright. And Team B?" Lucy asked.

"The first. Laxus sort of cheats. Though there's no rule against it." Dream Lucy said with a giggle.

"He teleports us, doesn't he?" Lucy asked, shaking her when her dream self nodded.

"Yes. Oh! But you have to warn Wendy not to stray from the group. Raven Tail gets to her and drains her magic to try and get Team A to be disqualified for not having all its members." Dream Lucy said.

"If they do that, how does Team A even make the final cut?" Lucy asked.

"Elfman. He somehow is there and grabs us and helps us make it." Dream Lucy said.

"So Elfman ends up taking Wendy's place, then?" Lucy asked, crossing her arms and leaning back against what seemed to be a wall.

"Yes." Dream Lucy nodded. "The first is a game, It would have Gray and Juvia, but since Juvia is now part of the same team as Gray, she won't be in it. I suggest having Laxus in it. A wizard from Sabertooth is in the first game, and he's a Memory Maker mage. The attack he uses is like nothing anyone has seen. Laxus can adsorb it." Dream Lucy explained.

"How do you know he can?" Lucy asked.

"He does in the final battle, which involves all team members. But by then, both teams are made into one team." Dream Lucy said.

Lucy nodded. "All right, and if Laxus isn't. You said that Juvia was in the first with Gray. What if they put me in?" Lucy asked.

"If that's the case, then they won't have you in the next, which is a battle round where Raven Tail is involved. If I'm right, since you are the one who would normally be in that battle, it might just be Juvia. On the off chance it's not, and they still have you go against her because of the changes you made, you can not, under any circumstances, let the battle drag on. The mage, Flare is her name, uses fire. She also tries to use Asuka as Leverage to get you to submit to her torture. Don't let her! I know Natsu saves her and us so we can use Urano Metria, but it fails us because they cheat. You have to defeat her before that happens. You can't let her do that." Dream Lucy said frantically.

"I won't. I'll warn Master if I have to. I'll do everything I can. If Juvia goes against her, she would win. Water beats Fire every time." Lucy said confidently.

"Not when it comes to Natsu." Dream Lucy reminded her.

"That's because Natsu's not normal." Lucy's sweat dropped.

"No kidding." Dream Lucy giggled. "I'll help you as much as I can. The games won't be easy. Sabertooth and Raven Tail are your biggest problems. But Luckily, Laxus takes care of Raven Tail. But that's not until after Wendy's fight against a mage from Lamia Scale. Her name is Sherria, and she's Sherry's cousin. But she's a Sky God Slayer. She and Wendy's magic are similar. So much so that her match ends in a drawl." Dream Lucy said.

"God Slayer?" Lucy asked with a tilt of her head. "That one guy from Grimoire Heart? The one that Natsu had a hard-time fighting?" Lucy asked.

Dream Lucy nodded. "And she's not the only one. But she is the nicest one. The other God Slayer in the Games belongs to Sabertooth. And he's a match for Laxus to handle. He's a Lightning God Slayer." Dream Lucy explained.

Lucy sighed. "No matter how much Laxus tries to deny it, he's just like Natsu when it comes to a fight. I think it's a Dragon Slayer thing." Lucy muttered.

"Don't ever let him hear you say that." Dream Lucy giggled.

"Trust me. I won't. Not to mention I don't think he's that thrilled I'm on his team. He definitely didn't look happy." Lucy said. "Anything else I should know?" Lucy asked.

Dream Lucy nodded. "I'll show you how it all played out. When you wake up, I'm sorry, but you will have a killer headache." Dream Lucy said.

And just like that, all the images and scenes of the games played through her mind.

Lucy jolted upright as she woke.

Her dream self was right. She did have a killer headache from everything swarming her mind.

Lucy swallowed thickly. It was a lot to take in. She looked out the window and saw the sun was starting to break through the horizon. She knew it was time to get moving.

Not to mention she needed to inform the others of what she knew now.

Okay, there's that one!

I hope it's going well so far!

This one took me a while, considering it's going over the arc of the games.

These are officially all the new stories for the time being unless I think of other ones as time goes on!

And as always, thank you for the support!

I'll do my best to update more often.
