My head hurts. More than it ever has. This blistering headache is similar to the times that I went too far into the darkness. Right where even am I? The last thing I remember is disappearing on the beaches of Destiny Islands right after Sora had. My vision is starting to return. That's good but what's with all this noise most worlds don't get this loud. I open my eyes, light blinding me as the tall structure that's giving the large amount of light comes into view. "The Tokyo Tower? Why am I here?" I say to myself as my eyes adjust more, seeing more details about "Home" a convenience store down the street has a different name to the one I'm usually used to seeing. The language is also different, and looks like the language from what was written back in "Scala Ad Caelum."
My mind is racing, where am I? Where should I go? Can I even get back home? Where is Sora!? I have to find information. I can't waste time, while the Keyblade war was over there could still be some threat nearby. So I run down the street going down a few alleyways, ignoring weird looks that people gave me before ending up in front of a bookstore. Seems like in any version of Japan I'm in I just can't get away from bookstores, this one is taller than any I used to visit and has a glass exterior. Entering the attendant greets me, great looks like the translation magic is still working, I give a simple nod back before heading up to the second floor looking for anything that I can understand. Walking across the aisles a book catches my eye the cover looks familiar. Picking it up and inspecting the art and writing the title says "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected." The characters on the cover look similar to both myself and Yukinoshita, turning it over all my thoughts stop "Hachiman Hikigaya is a cynic."
It's me…. I drop the book and rush out of the store as a sense of dread overcomes me. This doesn't make any sense. In this world Hikigaya Hachiman is a fictional character. These thoughts plague my head. Was everything I was fighting to protect fake? Were these last two years worthless? Is everyone safe? Was everything that Xehanort had done, all the pain he's caused just a part of some greater story!? I… I don't know.
Yet all I do know is that somehow both me and Sora are here, he has to be here if this is the "Unreality" that Young Xehanort was talking about. I don't know what road lies ahead but I'll get back. "Afterall. Let my heart be my guiding key."

A man standing on a rooftop not so far away looks down on Hachiman. His facial features are obstructed from the coat he wears yet sounds intrigued all the same. "Seems that you've made it further than I thought. Just like him before you, let's see what you can do." Standing up from the edge facing the moon cupping it in his heart shaped hands "Singularity of Logic."

I saw a tweet a while ago along the lines of "When Sora is out exploring Quadratum and sees a Paopu fruit plushie" with an image of him looking at it through the shop window and it stuck to me. Most of what I wrote here was for fun and not canon to this fanfic, just a thought if I applied this to 8-man after all his development. This is also based on the KH3 secret ending not Re:mind!
Future) Will most likely be updating this once or twice a month until I get to full on divergence i.e the fall of the world to darkness. Afterwards probably a month. Send me High School-ish animes that you potentially want to see this crossover with. (Doesn't have to be with an ability based show i.e MHA,Charlotte, etc.) But mostly anything should be fine! Along with anything Disney that you would've like to see represented in KH or similar media!
Reviews) Sora113 → Thanks again for the review. As you obviously read above I do intend to have his story intertwine later on with Sora's but probably right after the first cutscene of Hollow Bastion or even a tad bit earlier. Definitely have characters from non-represented Disney media to be companions, also just an excuse to watch and re-watch said movies. While I'm not that well versed in FF I'll do my best and try to find characters that would feel right in place in certain worlds!
Hachiman fan → I personally disliked how I ended the last chapter. I knew that I wanted to get something out, but I personally guarantee that I'll go back and edit it to have some more semblance of sense. Once I edit and update it, parentheses will appear here as well as the latest chapter I'm working on! Personally I think the assignment was a reflection of hangouts and times shared with others that was meant to be looked back on, it specifically says so in the LN "Such a Question would require you to reflect on your own experiences" a line which I use but wasn't in the anime. Or rather that's how I decide to look at it. Anyways hope you also stay safe and healthy!
