Chapter 13

Curiosity got the better of him.

So much so, Chusi went on ahead and asked to speak with Toji. "Why are you curious to this?" Yua demanded, as she appeared to have overheard their conversation.

Sukuna merely shrugged. "I like to see my ideas in motion."

"That sounded a lot more creepy than it should have…" she muttered.

"See it as you must, however, I helped spawn this notion, and I am rather pleased to see I can even find ways of bending the rules of this world. Granted, not to MY favor per say, but nonetheless… it's rather satisfying to know I did so without curse energy."

She paused oddly, then a strange look of realization came on her face. "Huh… never thought of it that way… I'll give credit where it's due here." She said in a defeated tone.

"RYOMEN!"

He paused as Chusi called out. She began to wave him over, apparently, they have permission to enter and speak with Toji.

There was something he wanted to ask him anyways.

"Excuse me," He left Yua to visit the odd dragon cooped up in there now.

"Great, what the hell do you want?!"

Sukuna smirked. "It's rather amusing to see that despite you have your teenage child within you… you didn't stick out as much as the brat did with his…"

He was quick to shut up after a firm elbow went into his side. Chusi glared at him for his comment. "What Ryomen meant to say is, is there anything we can do to assist… especially Ryomen."

"Huh?" came out of Toji.

"What?" slipped out of Sukuna.

"Like it or not, the two of you owe that young man a LOT" she decreed. Her gaze shifted to Toji. "YOU are finally acting like a father, the one who has not been in his life and did foolish things to end your own!" then, her gaze shifted to Sukuna. "I am MORE than aware as to what you have done to that child… rest assured, assisting Toji is but a small dent in the debt that you owe to Megumi. Don't forget that. SO, from this moment on, Toji, if you need anything, ask Ryomen." She stated.

There came a smirk over the confident sorcerer killer, but then, he sighed. "Yep, defiantly first circle of hell…"

Chusi on the other hand, excused herself. She was going to test Suguru once more since Sukuna would be busy with Toji.

The moment she left, the two sighed with relief.

"She doesn't know yet, does she?" came out of Toji.

Sukuna, smirked. "Oh, she knows. I don't have to tell her that,"

"To think I did manage to…"

"Don't… remind me," Sukuna muttered.

The incident in question… occurred shortly after Sukuna's revival.

He was paraded around as a pet for a while, however, the knockoff had a brilliant idea he wanted to put into action. So, he brought Sukuna to an open field, and then got Toji. "What's with the monkey?" Sukuna muttered.

"Oh, just a little show I have ALWAYS wanted to watch!" the knockoff said with a smile. "I want to see Toji here… beat the unholy hell out of you!"

"What?!" Toji demanded.

Sukuna snickered. "Really? He has no jujutsu, he is but a heavenly restricted mortal!"

"Keep telling yourself that…" Suiryu said, but suddenly turned to Toji and brought him in close, he stated to whisper in the human's ear. Slowly, his face began to alter and change.

"You shitting me?" he demanded.

Only then, Suiryu put his hand on top of Toji's head. He must have transferred something into his mind, since shortly after, he appeared to be full of rage. "Let me at him!"

"Ah, just a moment, I want to make sure he gets his ass beaten…"

Suiryu approached and gave a rather smug grin. "You… can't use jujutsu to fight him," he simply stated. Sukuna felt the collar on his neck restrict. The order was given. "Just your strength and natural abilities your body has, no jujutsu… this is gonna be good…" He then stepped back as the human warmed up.

"Am I supposed to be scared? Do you not realize knock off my strength is BEYOND ANY human who has possessed heavenly restrictions?!"

"Do I look like I give a shit?" Suiryu snapped back.

He should have known something wasn't right. Then again, he faced this human head on. The strike he endured… would normally kill those who possessed heavenly restrictions, and yet, he got back up instantly.

"HEY!"

Sukuna snapped out of it. Toji was shouting at him and yet appeared rather perplexed. "You thinking about the time I kicked your ass?"

He forced a laugh. "Before I knew you were Lady Tiamat's mate… back when I was arrogant and full of myself?"

"Still are"

"Besides that…" he muttered. "Truth be told, fighting you that day… reminded me of the Toorus. It only struck me now, since as I recall, I have faced others like you. I had a perfect method and knew how much force was needed to destroy that sorcerer… when I used that same method on you… you flinched, but didn't fall like the others."

Toji snorted a laugh. "For real? You do know I got started on training because of a Tooru. Yua's aunt of all things, she nearly adopted me."

"Too bad and also good fortune on your side."

"No shit,"

The two fell silent, Sukuna kept peering at him oddly, as he said before. Despite the fact he holds another within his body, it doesn't quite show on him as it did the brat. His body contains him rather well. "Eyes are up here you perv"

He smirked. "I certainly hope you are going to do what is asked of you, your child is remarkable. And you know how I know that,"

"I still think you need another ass kicking for that!"

"I'll oblige but not in your condition." Sukuna paused oddly. "Why did Lady Tiamat turn you?" he asked out of the blue. "To me, this doesn't seem right… at least… Hm…"

"It's never good when you start thinking."

"It's never good when I have something to consider that doesn't appear right, despite the fact before I could give a damn, but, something… troubles me."

"In short, something bad is coming isn't there?"

"Time will tell, but as Chusi said. I have much to make up for. If you need assistance…"

Toji sighed. "I don't want to be here…" he said begrudgingly. "No offence, this is Tiamat's place. We can't keep hogging it up because it's wide and all that, I want a different place to do this…"

Sukuna paused to his words. "Is that a request?"

"Huh?! What do you mean? You going to build me something else to do this in? I doubt you would even bother to do it!"

He sighed to it all. Of course he had to open his trap.

"So be it, if you need anything, call the brats or their endless family they have running around…" he said.

He left Toji be for the moment, however, Chusi did say he should help out. Not to mention… this is going to be better for Megumi… he does owe that boy so…

"Damn it…" he muttered. "I better make a list…"
