Monday rolled around and we were back at school in the morning. Jiro stayed by my side until we arrived at my class for some reason, before running off to her own class. The people that were already present waved at me and I smiled back before taking my seat.

Before long, more people started showing up, Tsunotori being one of them. The horse girl decided to ask me if I would summon my monsters today to which I said yes. Today I decided that I would be summoning [Outstanding Dog Mary], [Cloudian Smoke Ball], [Marshmacaron] and [Melffy Fenny]. I also decided that Decoy would be joining us today, so he could continue getting used to the other students.

Instantly, Mary bounded over to Tsunotori, she must have something about her that attracts the dog monsters, every single one has instantly gone to her without fail. Smoke Ball started floating in the air above our heads and landed on Tsuburaba's desk. Marshmacaron ended up going to Honenuki, squishing itself small and compact while the softening boy rubbed its body. Fenny raced around the classroom, going under desks, jumping on desks before it landed on Kendo's desk and sat down with a 'meow'. Decoy continued to grasp the back of my uniform, still shaking in fear of the other students, though not as much as he was when I started bringing him out.

Vlad walked into the room soon a few minutes later, walking up to the podium and doing the roll before going over a few notices. "Alright, I just want to welcome everyone back. As much as I would like to keep you all relaxing though, there is something that everyone needs to focus on." We all held our breath at hearing what the hero had to say. "The Sports Festival is approaching and you all need to get ready for it."

Some of us cheered in excitement, though some of us were less than enthusiastic about the event. Awase held up his hand to question the teacher. "Sir, is it really okay to hold an event like this right after the villain attack?" Some of the students nodded their heads at his question while Vlad sighed.

"Apparently, we are holding the event to show that the villain attack didn't affect us. Don't worry though, the security of this year's festival will be greater than any previous years." The alleviated some of their concerns, though some still seemed worried. "To prepare for the festival, some of your heroic classes will be turned into training periods. You can use the gyms on campus to train your quirk or spar."

We nodded our heads in understanding as the bell for classes to start rang. I didn't pay attention to the lessons though, figuring I could just switch to a smarter transformation to help me finish the work the teachers gave us for homework. Instead, I was thinking about what monsters I should summon during the festival, or if I should even summon any at all.

I thought about it some more and then decided that I would be summoning some monsters, but the monster I would summon would be so overwhelmingly powerful that no one would be able to match their strength. Otherwise, I would just use monsters whose abilities were suitable for my opponent. But to choose the best monsters for that, I needed to know the quirks of the other hero class.

When lunch rolled around, I walked up to Kendo to do something that was probably long overdue. "Hey Kendo, I was thinking that we should probably introduce ourselves to the other reps for class 1-A. Maybe we could say hi to the rest of their class as well." I didn't tell her that I would be activating one of the cards I hadn't revealed to the world yet, [The Eye Of Truth].

The card would allow me to go into the mind of the person I was targeting and read some of their thoughts without their knowing. Though I had to keep eye contact for that to work, it should give me enough time to get a catalogue of their quirks.

"That sounds like a great idea, let's grab our food and then we can go introduce ourselves." Kendo agreed with me, happy that I was going to do something that seemed pretty class rep-ish. We took her suggestion and ordered our food, leaving it with out class while we went to introduce ourselves to the other hero class.

It took a while to figure out who was from the other hero course class, but eventually we found a table with some of the students from the class. Sitting at the table were two boys and two girls, A spiky, red-head guy, a boy with straight black hair and weird elbows, a pink skinned girl with horns and Jiro.

"Hey there, are you guys in the hero course?" I spoke first, grabbing their attention with my question. Red hair smiled at me as he answered the question.

"Heck yeah we are, we're from 1-A!" I looked him in the eye as he spoke, using the ability of [The Eye Of Truth] to search his mind for his quirk. Turns out he has a hardening quirk similar to Tetsutetsu, though it doesn't give him resistance to the elements. "Names Kirishima, are you guys in 1-B or something?"

"Yup, we're the reps for class 1-B and we decided that we should introduce ourselves to our sister class." Kendo answered the question as I was looking the other students in the eyes to figure out what their quirks were. The girl with pink skin can secrete acid from her body, the other boy can shoot tape from his weird elbows, I already knew Jiro's quirk, so I didn't bother reading her mind. "I'm Kendo and this is Clay."

"That's really manly of you. This is Sero, Ashido and Jiro." Kirishima pointed to everyone as he introduced them, the others giving waves to us while Jiro was giving me a suspicious gaze. I didn't bother returning the gaze and just continued the conversation with Kirishima.

"Hey Kirishima, can you introduce us to the rest of your class? We want to introduce ourselves to the reps of your class." Kirishima instantly agreed, not suspecting anything amiss. He got up from his table and began guiding me and Kendo towards the people in his class. I used my ability to gather information about their quirks and saved it for later, I could make a plan to deal with them when I got home.

Finally, we met the vice rep of class 1-A, a tall girl with an ample body, long black haired tied into a ponytail, sitting down with a boy with hair split down the middle in red and white. The boy had heterochromatic eyes, being blue and grey with a burn over his blue eye. He didn't bother giving us a meagre passing glance, but that was enough for me to use my quirk and figure out his own.

"Hello there, my name is Momo Yaoyorozu and I am the vice rep for class 1-A. Is there anything I can help you with?" She stood up and bowed as she introduced herself, very formal.

"Nah, we're just introducing ourselves. Anyway, I hope we can be on friendly terms from now on." With a short wave we moved over to the next group of 1-A students, and then I saw someone that I was really hoping not to see again. It was the boy who lectured us about having Fluffal Cat out in the cafeteria.

The boy stiffened up seeing me approaching his table as I sighed in annoyance. It took a moment to realize that I hadn't met the class rep and that this was the last table of 1-A students, I internally prayed that he wasn't the rep of their class.

"And this here is the class rep of 1-A, Iida." I sighed in disappointment as Kirishima introduced the rep of their class.

In the end I decided to suck it up and deal with it, I had a mission to do and I was going to finish it damnit. Kendo introduced us to Iida while I looked at the other two at the table, the girl who looked like Komori with blushes on her cheeks and the boy who nearly had a heart attack from meeting Kuriboh.

The girls quirk was cool, simple but pretty powerful, the ability to make anything weightless and devoid of gravity. I took note of it and turned to the green haired boy, reading his mind to find what his quirk was. It took a bit to find for some reason, though eventually I found it, a stockpiling quirk that increased his strength. After finding the quirk and noting what its effects were, I was suddenly struck by a force in my mind that ejected me from the boys mind.

I was shocked but didn't let it show on my face, it wouldn't look good if the class rep was snooping into peoples minds now would it. I pushed my shock aside, leaving the strange event for later while I turned to Iida and investigated what his quirk was. Regular superspeed, engines in his legs, nothing super impressive.

"Might I inquire what this is about, why is it that you are introducing yourself to us now?" Iida shot me a glare that I returned, not backing away from the staring contest.

"We're all in the hero course, we need to be acquainted if we are to work together in the future." I gave an excuse that would be believable before taking my leave from the table with Kendo by my side. It was only when we got back to our own table with our class that Kendo questioned me.

"So, you want to tell me why you actually had us go to every single student in the other class?" I wasn't surprised that Kendo had picked up on something, she was smart after all and observant enough.

"I needed to figure out what all their quirks were for the Sports Festival, we need every advantage we can get if we're going to make it to the last event." I admitted what I had done without shame, the other students at the table giving me nods of understanding or head shakes of disapproval.

"And how did you even figure out their quirks, you didn't ask a single one of them what their quirks were." Kendo was one of the people who gave a nod of understanding, agreeing that we should take every advantage we could get.

"I have the ability to read minds, I just haven't told anyone." One of my eyes glowed golden and tattoos that looked like the card art appeared on my face. "I don't just have to take the ability of monsters, it's just that they're the most compatible with me."

The others nodded their heads, expecting me to have some crazy abilities that I hadn't shown yet. In the end they figured I would just be able to do everything everyone could do to some ability.

When lunch ended, we were given a gym period so we could begin training for the Sports Festival, and I ended up using it to write down the quirks of everyone in class 1-A and possible counters to their quirks.

Yuga Aoyama, Quirk: Naval Laser. Possible counters: Mirror monsters that can reflect the laser back at him. [Mirror Resonator], [Fiend's Mirror], [Mirror Ladybug]. Mirror force/wall is also an option.

Mina Ashido, Quirk: Acid. Possible counters: Blow the acid away with wind, monsters like [Elemental Hero Great Tornado], [Wynn The Wind Charmer]. [Windstorm Of Etagua] and [Dust Tornado] are also options.

Tsuyu Asui, Quirk: Frog. Possible counters: Dry the girl out or force her into hibernation. Fire monsters or ice monsters like [Elemental Hero Heat] or [Cryomancer Of The Ice Barrier].

Rikido Sato, Quirk: Sugar Rush. Possible counters: Basic strength enhancer, outlast the time limit and opponent will tire himself out. Monsters to assist, [Destiny Hero - Dasher], any monster capable of flight.

Mezo Shoji, Quirk: Dupli-Arms. Possible counters: Mild strength enhancement without a time limit, stealth is ineffecting and restraining is unlikely to capture all arms at once. Instead, overpower opponent. Monsters to assist, [Elementa Hero Gaia], [Number 51: Finisher The Strong Arm].

Kyoka Jiro, Quirk: Earphone Jack. Possible counters: Not skilled in close quarter combat, overwhelm with physical strength. Abrupt loud noises stun opponent. Monsters to assist, Symphonic monsters, [Elemental Hero Solid Soldier].

Hanta Sero, Quirk: Tape. Possible counters: Heat will burn tape, while icing will make it fragile. Also, it's tape, just, it's tape. Monsters to assist, [Elemental Hero Heat], [Elemental Hero Ice Edge].

Fumikage Tokoyami, Quirk: Dark Shadow. Possible counters: Light seems to pacify the sentient quirk, opponent also isn't skilled at close combat, too reliant on quirk. Monsters to assist, [Elemental hero Voltic], [Elemental Hero Flash], [Elemental Hero Sparkman].

Shoto Todoroki, Quirk: Half-Cold, Half-Hot. Possible counters: While going through mind, discovered that opponent doesn't use fire while in combat. If true, monsters to assist, [Elemental Hero Nova Master]. If false, monsters to assist, [Frost And Flame Dragon].

Toru Hagakure, Quirk: Invisibility. Possible counters: Invisible but still has a body. Simply overpower while using spell [Fish Sonar] or trap [The Eye Of Truth] to maintain lock on position.

Katsuki Bakugo, Quirk: Explosion. Possible counters: Restrain as soon as possible, longer fights go on the stronger the explosions will become. Monsters to assist, [Holding Arms], [Holding Legs].

Izuku Midoriya, Quirk: Super Strength. Possible counters: Strongest strength enhancer in their class, avoid being hit by direct attack if possible while restraining. Monsters to assist, [Millenium Shield], [Holding Arms].

Minoru Mineta, Quirk: Pop-Off. Possible counters: Don't allow opponent to spread too many orbs and bounce off to gain speed. Melt any that come in contact with body. Monsters to assist, [Elemental Hero Great Tornado], [Elemental Hero Heat].

Momo Yaoyorozu, Quirk: Creation. Possible counters: Unclear how opponent will use quirk, overwhelm and restrain as soon as possible. Monsters to assist, [Destiny Hero – Double Dude], [Holding Arms].

After finishing writing down the quirks of the other hero class, I decided that I should maybe get in some practice with the monsters or abilities. Also, doing this practice would help his classmates as well to deal with overwhelming opponents.

"Hey Kendo! Come over here and help me practice for a bit." I called for Kendo who was attacking a punching bag with her quirk. She raced over at my call, all too eager to help me with my practice. "Alright, I need you to attack me with all you've got, use your quirk or any technique you need."

Kendo nodded her head before getting into a fighting stance. I gave her the signal to attack, motioning her forward with my hand as I prepared to summon one of my monsters. Kendo charged forward, going for a jumping kick at my head while I moved my head to the side, Kendo recovering and going for a palm strike at my chest. I moved to the side, getting out of the range of Kendo's enlarged fist before summoning the monster I wanted to, [Holding Arms], into my fist before charging at Kendo and latching the monster onto her arm.

The monster sprung to life, glowing as it danced around and moved itself to attach itself onto Kendo's other arm. When the martial artist moved her arm away to stop the monster from reaching, it did something that we weren't expecting, extending itself to be long enough to reach her wrist. When it finally attached after a moment, it shrunk back down to a size where it restricted her hands before glowing from its centre eye. Kendo's enlarged hands shrunk back down to a normal size, much to the girls shock.

"Why can't I activate my quirk?!" Kendo began freaking out, yelling loud enough for some of the other students to take notice and wonder what was happening. When some of them came to inspect what was happening, they were alarmed to find Kendo in cuffs, though far more alarmed when they learned she couldn't use her quirk.

"Don't worry, it isn't gone permanently." I walked up to Kendo who was frantically waving her arms around with Holding Arms still attached to her. "The monster that I just attached to you has the ability to negate the effects other monsters, or in the case of people, their quirks. As soon as Holding Arms is removed, you'll have your quirk back." I unclasped Holding Arms from Kendo, allowing her to use her quirk once again.

"That is so weird, I heard that the 1-A homeroom teacher is able to disable quirks, I wonder if it is anything like that." I shrugged my shoulders, not really sure how it felt. Instead, I signalled for Kendo to attack me again, this time I fused with [Destiny Hero – Double Dude] to get used to being in two bodies at once.

I gained a top hat and a scarf that covered my mouth on one body, a cane in hand which I twirled around like I had been using a cane for most of my life. My other body had grown in size, reaching monstrous proportions. His clothes had ripped as he gained a bunch of mass, his hair growing longer in the span of seconds, reaching the base of his back.

I tried moving around in my body, feeling no different from any other time I was moving my body. In fact, I felt even better than usual because I was using a monster. My other body was fine as well, I didn't share any of my senses with it like I thought it would and it acted independently of me, though still it followed my orders. With everything sorted Kendo charged at me, the body with the cane, and prepared another kick to the face. However, the other me stepped in her way, taking the hit while not moving an inch.

The other me slapped Kendo aside, the vice rep repositioning herself in the air to land on her feet, while I moved forward with my cane in hand. I reared my cane back and brought it down like a sword, forcing Kendo to take another step back. My clone roared and charged at Kendo as well, forcing the girl to use her quirk to hold him off and allowing me to get close and wack her in the head with my cane.

Kendo flopped to the ground, groaning in pain and rubbing the back of her head where I hit. The other me stopped attacking, standing still like a statue while I walked over to my vice to give her a hand.

"You alright Kendo? Sorry about hitting you so hard." I offered her my hand and she accepted, allowing me to pull her to her feet as she patted herself down.

"No problem, at least it was you and not a villain." She chuckled at her own joke while others gave her dry looks. "Too soon?" The classmates that were watching us all sighed, shaking their heads.

"Well, I'm glad you think that way. Now, let's get back to training, I want to make sure I know exactly how to counter 1-A in case we go up against them in the final round of the Sports Festival." The others all nodded their heads, passing around the notebook with the quirks of the sister class and trying to think of ways they could counter them with their own quirks.

Two weeks passed by like this, having hero training some days while other days were free gym periods. In the time I had managed to think of what I would be doing in the sports festival, what monsters I would be using and what counters I would use on the other hero course students.

Now, we stood in the waiting room of the stadium on the day of the festival with a roaring crowd outside ready to watch us beat up other students. Weird how that's just a normal thing. Everyone was pretty nervous as they waited, some sweating bullets while others were just shivering a bit. I realized that I needed to do something to calm everyone down, otherwise we wouldn't perform as well as we should've.

"Alright 1-B, I can see that some of you are nervous for what's ahead of you, but I just want to remind you, we're the hero class that was attacked by villains and survived. We all deserve to be here, no matter what anyone else says, and we're going to give it our all to make sure everyone damn well remembers it." Everyone cheered at my speech, being pumped up now instead of nervous. "Now let's get out there and show them what we're made of!"

"WILL CLASS 1-B PLEASE MAKE THEIR WAY INTO THE STADIUM." An electronic voice said over a speaker, calling us to the hallway that would take us into the big stadium. Me and Kendo took the lead, being the rep and vice rep with everyone else in their seating arrangement. We waited for the green light to appear before walking in, watching the red light in anticipation for the start of the next step in our hero careers.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IT'S TIME FOR THE SPORTS FESTIVAL TO BEGIN. IT'S THE FRESHMAN STAGE AND THE STUDENTS ARE MAKING THEIR ENTRY NOW! PLEASE WELCOME, THE RISING STARS FROM THE HERO COURSE, CLASS 1-A!" The crowd cheered in excitement seeing the students walk out into the stadium.

"AND WE CAN'T FORGET, ALSO FROM THE HERO COURSE, CLASS 1-B!" The red light that we were all looking at turned green and we began our march to the open field. For some reason the crowd didn't cheer as loud as when class 1-A came into the arena. We expected to be cheered for because we survived a villain attack, but it turns out the school had covered the attack up and the police didn't mention the event at all. There were rumours but that was it.

Also, from previous years of the sports festival, it was clear that most of the big shots had come from class 1-A, they usually had the strongest quirks in the class after all. Because of this, many people didn't bother looking too hard at the rest of the classes.

"AND FOLLOWING CLASS B, HERE COME CLASSES C, D, AND E FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL EDUCATION! AND NOW HERE ARE CLASSES F, G, AND H OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SUPPORT, FOLLOWED BY CLASSES I, J, AND K FROM THE BUSINESS DEPARTMENT!" The excitement was pretty much non-existent for the other courses, causing some of the students in those classes to mutter their disapproval and annoyance.

"Why does it seem like no one is going to take us seriously?" Kendo whispered this to me as we walked to the stage in the field. I nodded my head, thinking that everyone must believe 1-A was the top brass, but we would show them that 1-B is better than them all.
