Chapter 338: Aftermath, Recovery and Results...
(August 26. Royal Woods Hospital. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
A day has gone by since the whole incident with Chandler's attack and attempted murder onto Lincoln. Right now, we see Luna and Michelle Lewis, both in the room of Lincoln and looking onto his unconscious form.
He has a lot of cuts and bruises on his face, and body. They had to perform surgery on his back which took some damage, and then to his broken right arm and right leg. That means he will be confined to a wheel chair once he is discharged, and the doctor told them that once he wakes up then he'll be discharged the following day.
They are glad he is alright, and he took all those hits too and managed to survive the attack from Chandler. As for Chandler McCann, he is gone for good. After the fall, impalement, and the blast. His remains were found, and are going to be disposed of for good. At least, he's gone and no longer going to return.
The loud sisters were already there the previous day, and they plan to visit again today. But Rita and Lynnard didn't come, now they do wanna see how Lincoln is doing but they are aware that they are banned from the hospital after what happened with Leni and the tumors she had, and when Lincoln was hospitalized last year. (Luna Rock n' Not.)
So, Lori is notifying Lynnard and Rita of the state Lincoln is in. They even notified their friends, and both Jordan Rosato and Sam Sharp went to go and see him and they both broke down in tears to see Lincoln in that state, and same with Luna and Michelle. Luna and Michelle on the other hand, haven't left his side after the surgery and they refuse to.
They didn't wanna leave him alone, and are in deep concern about the way he has been and unable to wake up, and they pray for him to get well soon.
Luna goes closer, and she holds her brother's hand and she whispers. "I'm sorry... I wish we were there sooner... You wouldn't have to be here and be... Linc, I'm so sorry. I love you so much, baby brother. Please... Come back to us..."
Michelle goes over, and she hugs Luna, and she hugs her back. "Calm down. This was not your fault, this was all Chandler's fault, and he's gone now for good. That means Lincoln is safe and sound, and that little bastard is never ever coming back. Everything is alright Lunes, because what matters is that Lincoln is alive and still breathing."
Luna continues to shed some tears, and stays in this embrace with Michelle Lewis, but then the moment is broken when they hear groaning and they look to Lincoln in shock, he's awake!
"Ow. What the heck?" Lincoln covers his eyes. "Oh, why is it so bright?" He then smells the air. "Wait, am I in the hospital again?"
"Lincoln!" Luna goes over, and she gently hugs her brother, and he hugs her too. He recalls what had happened, and is in tears. Michelle also has tears, and she hugs them both.
The door opens, and the loud girls, along with Jordan and Sam arrive, and they are surprised to see Lincoln is awake. "Lincoln!"
But before they head over and hug him, Michelle stops them. "Stop, and brakes on!" they all stop. "Take it easy on him, alright?" They all nod, and they get a chance to hug Lincoln and he hugs them back.
Lincoln does embrace Jordan and they share a small kiss, and are glad to be still together again. They then depart from this small romantic moment, and then Lincoln looks to himself, and the state he is in and then he asks. "So, what's gonna happen to me now?"
Luna then explains. "Little brother, you took a major beating and survived. Your back is healed up, but the right leg and right arm need some time to heal. Sorry, but you will be on a wheel chair for the time being. But, you might be alright before the final day of the month."
Leni then speaks. "And since you're awake and alright again, that means tomorrow you can leave the hospital."
Lincoln sighs in relief, but then something else comes to his mind and then he asks. "And Chandler?"
Michelle sighs, and she calms down and explains. "Dead. Chandler was beaten up, and then pushed by Annabelle C. McCann, and he fell off the cliff, impaled by sharp rocks at the bottom, and then that airship guy dropped a bomb on him... Honestly, that last part is something we did not see coming."
Lynn Jr smirks. "Annabelle told me, that it felt good to give Chandler what he deserved, but she didn't think the bomb thing was part of it and thought it was kinda unnecessary. At least Chandler is gone for good." She then has an idea. 'Annabelle, you and I are going on another awesome date again, after what you did to help save my little bro.'
Lincoln is happy to know this, and then he has another hug with Luna and Michelle. A Family hug of their own. This makes the others happy, and this moment is so touching that Lori and Leni snap some photos of this, and make sure that everyone knows that Lincoln is awake, and alright again.
(Back at the Loud House.)
We see Lynnard pacing back and forth in the living room, and Rita in tears and she sighs and both are waiting for the call of what is Lincoln's current condition. Both are fuming with rage after what Chandler did to Lincoln, but both are happy that Chandler is dead, and they feel like finding Chandler's former parents, and giving them a beating.
Then, Lynnard sees his phone ring, and Rita goes over and they see the photo of Lincoln awake and well, and hugging Luna and Michelle. This makes them sigh in relief, but it hurts for them since Lincoln will be on a wheel chair for the time being.
Lynnard then sees the deep concern from his wife and he asks. "Rita, hun... Are you alright?"
Rita nods, and she wipes away her tears and then she calms down. "Once Lincoln's out of the hospital... We need to have a family meeting, and that also includes Luna, Lincoln and Michelle Lewis...i wanna fix this, and make things right...But, for what is truly for the better."
This makes Lynnard feel hopeful, because it means... Rita is now seeing the error of her ways and seeing what is truly important and what matters most.
A/N: At least he's alive and well, but soon once he is discharged from the hospital, then they will have to have a big meeting and talk with everyone else back at the Loud House. I hope that you guys enjoyed reading this new chapter.
