Hey guys!

Sorry for the wait, but here is the next chapter.

Though it is on the short side, I didn't want to get too far and not be able to stop at a good point.

Cliffhangers are my specialty, after all.

I'll try to make the next chapter a bit longer.

So, without further ado, Let's get on with the show!

"WHAT?!" Doranbolt exclaimed in disbelief. "You can't be serious?!" He continued.

"I'm sorry, but I am." Gemini-Lucy stated coldly.

"Lucy, he's a criminal! You can't seriously think that this is a good idea?" Doranbolt asked.

Gemini-Lucy sighed. They knew this wouldn't go well, but they had their orders. Even though they thought their keyholder was insane at this point. Gemini-Lucy pulled out a gold key and held it in front of her.

"I would much rather prefer to do this the easy way. But if I have to do this the hard way, I have no problem doing so." Gemini-Lucy said.

"Lucy..." Doranbolt stared at her in disbelief. He couldn't believe this was the same Lucy. "I can't just release a criminal." He explained.

Gemini-Lucy nodded with a sigh. "Very well. Just so you know, you've left me no other choice." Gemini-Lucy said as the key glowed. A moment later, a goat-like man with sunglasses appeared next to Gemini-Lucy. "Capricorn, knock him out." They said, stepping back.

Capricorn nodded before launching forward, startling Doranbolt. Doranbolt stumbled backward in shock but didn't have time to act. The next thing he knew, everything went black. Capricorn picked him up and placed him upright against a boulder. He looked back at Gemini-Lucy before disappearing.

Gemini-Lucy sighed. "I wish you would have just done this the easy way." Gemini-Lucy said as their form glowed and changed into the exact copy of Doranbolt. "For the record, I'm sorry about this." Gemini-Doranbolt said before disappearing.

Laxus and the rest of team Fairy Tail followed behind Lucy as they entered the hallway. At the end of the hallway stood First Master Mavis. She looked at Lucy curiously. She couldn't decide whether to say something or let them continue on their way. But she sighed and decided not saying anything wouldn't get any answers to the million questions that were running around in her head.

"Lucy." Mavis called out, causing the group to stop and look at her. Mavis narrowed her eyes at the tired look on Lucy's face. "What's going on? You don't seem like yourself." Mavis commented.

Lucy looked down at the floor. "It's nothing you have to concern yourself about. I need to go speak to Master." Lucy said before walking past her.

Mavis shifted her gaze to Laxus. Laxus shook his head and followed behind Lucy. Mavis sighed before looking at the other three members.

Gajeel sighed. "Don't worry about it. We have it under control." Gajeel said before he and the other two followed behind the two blondes. "I hope." Gajeel muttered under his breath as he passed by Mavis.

That left Mavis even more curious and worried. She sighed and figured to listen in during the conversation with Makarov.

"Sir! What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at the Grand Magic Games with Lieutenant Lahar?" A guard asked, a bit flustered.

Gemini-Doranbolt sighed. "Yes. I'm sorry to barge in like this. But I must see one of the prisoners. It's urgent." They said.

"Do you have the permission form? I'm sorry, but I can't let you through without permission from the higher-ups." The guard said with a sigh.

Gemini-Doranbolt smirked, which confused the guard, but before the guard could say anything, Gemini-Doranbolt swung their arm and hit the guard in the back of his neck, sending him face-first on the ground.

"I'm sorry. But I don't have time to play around." They said as they continued into the building. They looked around until they came upon the cell in question. They looked inside and saw a very confused-looking Cobra. "Is something on my face, Cobra?" They asked with a smirk.

Cobra tilted his head. "You're not Doranbolt, even though you look like him. I don't recognize your scent. Who are you?" Cobra asked with a growl.

Gemini-Doranbolt smirked. "It's so sad you don't recognize me, though I'm not surprised. But enough chit-chat. I need you to come with me. And please don't argue. I've had enough trouble trying even to get here." They sighed in exhaustion.

Cobra growled. "Why should I come with you when I don't even know you?" Cobra asked.

Gemini-Doranbolt shrugged. "I figured you would want to get out of this cell for a while. Plus, I'm only following orders. You're needed for this plan to work, apparently." They said, crossing their arm over their chest. "But if you'd rather the world get destroyed, then so be it." They spoke with a shrug before turning away.

As they started walking, Cobra growled. "Wait!" He called out with a sigh. "Tell me who sent you at least." He asked, getting to his feet.

Gemini-Doranbolt stopped and looked over their shoulder. "You wouldn't believe it even if I told you." They sighed but turned back, opening the cell. "Behave, will you. We don't need any trouble." They said.

Cobra stepped out, holding up his arms. "Like I could with these on." He said, showing the cuffs around his wrists.

"If you behave, I'll have them removed, but for now, they stay on until I'm given further orders." Gemini-Doranbolt said, putting their hand on Cobra's shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah. I get it. But it would be nice to know where we're going." Cobra grumbled as they disappeared.

Lucy and her team walked into the Fairy Tail stands. The look on Makarov's face said it all. He was shocked to see them all there.

"Don't you two have a match to be in?" Makarov asked pointing to Gajeel and Laxus.

Laxus shrugged. "We do, but they're giving us time to collect ourselves. Plus, this couldn't wait, and even though Raven Tail is taken care of, we're still unwilling to let Lucy walk around alone. She's still a walking target." Laxus explained, earning a glare from the petite blonde.

"Thanks for that." Lucy muttered with a roll of her eyes.

"So, what is so important that you're all here?" Makarov asked, his eyes going straight to Lucy. Lucy scratched the back of her head, making Makarov sag in his seat. "I'm not going to like this, am I?" Makarov asked.

"Probably not. But it's what needs to be done. And I'm sorry to put you in this position, but I don't have much choice." Lucy said before she took a deep breath and let it out. She squared her shoulders and held her head high. "I need you to back me on this, especially when shit hits the fan. And you know it will." Lucy said.

Makarov studied Lucy's face before sighing. "What do you need me to do?" Makarov asked, already not liking the sound of it.

"You're going to take Cobra into our custody until this is over." Lucy said with sheer determination.

Everyone around her, including her team, all stared at her with mouths agape.

"Please tell me you're joking." Makarov croaked. When he looked at her eyes, he knew she wasn't. "You're not. You're serious." Makarov said in disbelief. He sighed when she nodded. "Did you clear it with the council?" Makarov asked, already dreading the answer.

But before Lucy could answer, two figures appeared at her side. Lucy looked over at Gemini-Doranbolt and Cobra as they stood there—Cobra, with his eyes wide and mouth agape, staring at Lucy in disbelief.

"Not exactly." Gemini-Doranbolt said with a sigh.

"Doranbolt? But you agreed to do this?" Makarov asked with a tilt of his head. Gemini-Doranbolt sighed before they turned back into their normal selves. "I'll take that as a no, then." Makarov groaned.

"Gemini? How come I didn't recognize your scent?" Cobra asked in confusion.

Gemi and Mini danced around with a giggle. "New master." Gemi said.

"New scent." Mini finished.

"I guess that makes sense." Cobra muttered mainly to himself.

"Please don't call me master." Lucy grumbled.

"How do you expect us to keep him hidden?" Gajeel asked with a growl.

He was itching to pummel the Poison Dragon Slayer. But knew he'd get hell from Lucy if he tried.

Lucy sighed. "Did you guys bring a cloak with you?" Lucy asked the two floating blue creatures.

Gemi shook his head. "No. Virgo can bring one for you when we go back." Gemi said.

Lucy nodded. "Please. If you don't mind asking her." Lucy said.

Gemi and Mini nodded. "Don't worry." Gemi said.

"We'll pass it along." Mini said before the two of them disappeared.

Lucy nodded as she felt her body sag in exhaustion. She had them out too long, and they went too far, which drained her. But she knew she had to concentrate and keep the gate open as long as she possibly could. Laxus stepped up behind and pressed his hand to the small of her back. Lucy leaned back into Laxus as the fatigue started to seep in.

"You need to rest." Laxus growled lowly in her ear.

"I have all day tomorrow to rest. Don't worry about me." Lucy mumbled sleepily.

Cobra tilted his head as his eyes narrowed on her. He could hear everything that was going on in her head and heart. For some reason, he couldn't hear anything from Gemini like he used to be able to.

Cobra sighed. "You realize that your plan solely depends on me cooperating, right?" Cobra asked with a raised eyebrow.

Lucy smiled. "I know." She said softly. "But I'm hoping you'll help us, if not for the sake of the world but for Kinana's sake." Lucy said, her eyes feeling heavy.

Cobra smirked with a snort. "All right, you drive a hard bargain, but I'll help. But can I have these taken off?" Cobra asked, holding up his arms.

Lucy nodded just as a flash of light appeared, leaving behind Loke. He glared at Cobra as he stood protectively between his master and the dragon slayer.

"It's fine, Loke." Lucy said, trying to push away from Laxus, who held her in place by her hip.

Loke sighed. "I know. But I have more power, so I decided to come and bring this." Loke said, holding up a cloak. "And to remove his cuffs." Loke said, moving towards the dragon slayer.

"Please, be nice." Lucy said, sinking back against Laxus again.

Loke looked over his shoulder and smiled. "I'm always nice." Loke said before turning his attention back to Cobra. Loke sighed before removing the cuffs and handing the cloak to him. "Please, for everyone's sake, don't hurt my master." Loke said before stepping back to Lucy's side.

Cobra looked at Lucy, who's eyes were closed, before sighing. "Even if this is temporary, she's safe from me and anyone else who threatens her." Cobra said, rubbing his wrists from where the cuffs were. "After all, she's giving me this chance of a bit of freedom. I owe her." He continued.

"Gajeel and I need to head down to the arena." Laxus said before looking over at Jellal.

Jellal nodded and stepped forward, taking Lucy from Laxus. "I've got her." Jellal said as Laxus laid his coat over her shoulders.

Laxus nodded. "Put that on." Laxus said, pointing to the cloak hanging over Cobra's arm. "Let's go." Laxus said to Gajeel before walking out of the stands.

"Is Lucy all right?" Juvia asked, stepping forward.

"If I had to guess, she's just exhausted, that's all." Jellal said, moving Lucy to his back.

Cobra pulled the hood up over his head. "She's more than just exhausted." Cobra corrected. "She's drained and overwhelmed. She has too much on her mind. It's starting to give me a headache." Cobra grumbled, rubbing his temples.

"What does she have to be overwhelmed about? She won both her matches. She was amazing!" Natsu exclaimed.

Cobra looked around at everyone that was gathered there. He knew the answer to the question before he asked it, but he couldn't help himself.

"They don't know?" Cobra asked as he looked back at Jellal and Mira.

Jellal and Mira shook their heads.

"She didn't tell anyone but me, Laxus, and the master at first." Jellal explained, shifting Lucy so he had a better grip on her.

"We found out by accident. She wasn't planning on telling anyone anything, but we overheard her talking to Libra." Mira added.

"What don't we know?" Natsu asked, scratching his head in confusion.

Cobra sighed. "A lot, apparently." Cobra grumbled. "I can carry her if you want. Considering you have all those staves on your back." Cobra offered reluctantly, seeing how uncomfortable it looked.

Jellal looked over his shoulder at Lucy's sleeping face, shifting her again. He knew Cobra was right, but did he really trust the dragon slayer was the big question.

Natsu growled as Cobra stepped forward. "I'll take her." Natsu said, stepping forward.

Cobra sighed. "I won't hurt her." Cobra grumbled.

Makarov cleared his throat, gaining everyone's attention. "Let Co-" Makarov started until Kinana stepped forward and cleared her throat.

"His name's Erik. I think it would be safer to use that name than the other for now." She said with a smile.

Makarov nodded. "Very well. Erik then. I think Erik should take Lucy and follow Mystogan and Mira for now. Natsu, you stay here. Lucy wanted him here, let her take responsibility for him. For now. I will back her if needed." Makarov said, motioning with his head toward the doorway.

Cobra nodded before stepping forward and taking Lucy from Jellal. Cobra situated Lucy on his back and nodded to Jellal and Mira to lead the way.

"Master! What the hell!?" Natsu ranted as they left the stands.

"You saw into her mind. What are your thoughts?" Jellal asked as they walked down the hallway away from the rest of Fairy Tail.

Cobra thought for a moment, going back through everything he had gathered. Truthfully, he thought it was insane and impossible, but then again, what he saw had him second-guessing.

Cobra sighed. "Honestly, even seeing it, it's hard to believe. But then again, if it's true, she shouldn't be trying to do this on her own. Why hasn't she confided in Natsu? I thought they were close?" Cobra asked, even though he knew why. He wanted to see if she told them. "I'm just curious, that's all." He added.

"She didn't say. She's been solely relying on Laxus and myself." Jellal said.

Cobra nodded. "I see." He said, narrowing his eyes over his shoulder.

He knew he was going to question the girl when she woke up. He just hoped he didn't trigger the other slayer's protective instincts. He felt Laxus would be the biggest problem after hearing his thoughts. The panic in his mind almost made him cringe.

They continued to walk until they came to a door. Mira opened the door, and they walked inside and smiled at the pink-haired healer, who raised an eyebrow at the group who walked in. Watching the one with the cloak carry a passed-out Lucy on his back.

"Now, what did she do?" Porlyusica huffed with her hands on her hips.

"She's just exhausted, nothing serious. We figured to let her sleep here for a bit." Mira answered.

"Why do I find that hard to believe?" Porlyusica mumbled, her eyes narrowing on the cloaked figure. "And who is that?" She asked, pointing an accusing finger at him.

Mira looked at Cobra and giggled. "A friend apparently that Lucy thought we needed," Mira answered.

The healer sighed and pointed to the bed. "Lay her down." She said, turning back to the counter.

Cobra did just that as Jellal covered her with Laxus' coat. Cobra tilted his head as he watched Lucy curl up with the coat, pulling the sides into her and gripping it tightly.

"Do you know what's happening in her head right now?" Jellal whispered.

Cobra nodded. "Wish I didn't." Cobra whispered back.

"I can hear you." Porlyusica said suddenly. "How did you get out of prison?" She asked casually.

"Lucy." Mira said simply.

The healer sighed. "Of course." She said and shook her head, returning to what she was doing.

"What's going on in her head?" Jellal asked in his normal tone.

Cobra sat in the chair by the bed, leaning back with his arms crossed over his chest and ankle resting on his knee. He studied her for a bit, listening to her mind.

Cobra's eyebrow went up as he tilted his head. "She gets kidnapped by the kingdom?" He asked out loud.

Mira's eyes widened. "She what?!" She gasped.

"That's what this other Lucy is saying to her. To watch out for someone named Darton. That he has her arrested for plotting against the kingdom." Cobra explained.

"That's utterly ridiculous." Porlyusica scuffed. "The girl doesn't have a threatening bone in her body." She huffed, busying her hands.

Cobra looked over his shoulder and smirked. He found it amusing that everyone would jump to her defense when something negative was said against her, making him somewhat envious of having friends like that. But she was the one who helped him get out even if he had to go back when all was said and done. He could live with that for a taste of freedom.

"Never said she did. Just saying that's what this person, who is calling herself the future Lucy, is telling the present one. Lucy herself right now is going through ideas. But I think I can help her out with that once she wakes up. One of her ideas seems perfect with a bit of tweaking." Cobra said, turning back to the blonde with a smirk.

"You could come in handy now and then." Jellal muttered.

Cobra shrugged. "I have my moments." Cobra said.

Out in the arena, the four dragon slayers gathered. Laxus and Gajeel stood across from Sting and Rogue. Laxus felt uneasy leaving Lucy with a known criminal, but he had to focus, or this could end badly.

"She'll be fine. Don't worry. No one is going to let anything happen to her."Gajeel muttered next to him.

Laxus sighed. "I know. But I can't help it. Instincts, you know." Laxus said, rolling his shoulders.

Gajeel raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "You've got it bad for her, don't you?" Gajeel chuckled.

"Shut up and let's do this." Laxus growled with a huff.

Gajeel chuckled, shaking his head before returning to the other two slayers.

"You should count yourself lucky that the choice was given to Lucy. Otherwise, you would have been out of the games. None of us would have allowed you guys a second chance. But Lucy? Her middle name is Second Chance." Gajeel said with a roll of his eyes.

"We're grateful, trust me. We owe her for sparing us." Sting said.

"I have a feeling that I wouldn't want to get on her bad side." Rogue mumbled.

Laxus snorted. "No, you really don't." Laxus said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Don't let her sweet smile fool you. Piss her off, and you could find yourself stuck in a wall halfway across the country." Gajeel said with a shiver.

Both Sting and Rogue's eyebrows shot up before looking at each other. They really couldn't believe it, not by looking at her. But they've found out before that looks can be deceiving. They turned their attention back to the other slayers.

Sting sighed. "We were thinking of just surrendering if you guys want. I mean, we owe you guys that much." Sting said, scratching his head.

Gajeel barked out a laugh. "Hell no. I'm not going back out of here without getting a few hits in. Lucy would strangle us." Gajeel said, mumbling the last part.

"Yeah, no. I would rather fight it out and give it our all. Lucy wouldn't want you to do that. She'd want a fair fight. Not really a clean one, but at least a fair one." Laxus said.

Rogue sighed. "Can't we just play poker?" Rogue grumbled under his breath.

"I wouldn't be opposed to it, but honestly, I just want to hit something," Gajeel said with a shrug.

Sting grinned. "All right, let's do this then!" Sting said before launching at Laxus.

And then the fight began.

The room shook as the fight in the arena continued.

"They're really going at it." Mira said with a giggle.

"Did you expect them to sit and play poker? This is Fairy Tail we're talking about. They're reckless and always up for a fight." Jellal said with a smile evident in his voice.

Cobra sat there in the chair, seemingly asleep. He wasn't. He was listening in on Lucy's mind. It started to sound like it was getting intense. The panic he heard grated on his nerves. For some reason, he didn't like that. He bolted up with wide eyes as soon as he heard the whimper that came from the blonde. The other two in the room were on their feet just as fast.

"How do you wake her up? It's not good." Cobra said.

"I got it." Jellal said, walking over and placing his hand on her forehead.

He had to concentrate on entering her mind. But it seemed that there were more barriers to get through this time. But he pushed himself through. He wouldn't let anything happen to Lucy, whether it was a dream or not.

Everything was white. Above, around, and below. Lucy looked around, feeling uneasy. Something wasn't right. However, she couldn't be sure what.

"Now what?" Lucy muttered mainly to herself.

"What are you doing here?" She heard a familiar voice ask from behind her. Lucy turned and looked to see herself staring back at her. A mangled form of herself but herself nonetheless. "You shouldn't be here." She added, looking around nervously.

"Like I had a choice in the matter? Seriously, I would give anything to just sleep without being pulled into wherever this is. You act like I asked for this." Lucy huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

"It shouldn't have brought you here. I don't understand why it did. The time when Darton arrests you is coming closer. You have to be ready." Her dream self said.

"You don't think I know that? I'm thinking of plans, but I'm unsure which would be the best course of action. Isn't it enough that I'm even listening to you? I mean, it's dangerous to break Cobra out of prison, but I did." Lucy snapped, getting highly annoyed.

Dream Lucy's eyes widened. "You did what?! Why did you do that?" She asked.

"That's what I was told to do the last time I was here. Oddly enough, I trust him." Lucy said, mumbling the last part.

"Why would it tell you to get him? I don't get it. It makes no sense. If everything works out like we're planning, there's no risk of Dragons appearing." Dream Lucy said mainly to herself.

Lucy studied her closely. It seemed unreal. Not to mention, if everything she was doing was supposed to stop whatever future from happening, wouldn't her dream/future self look normal, not mangled and worst for wear? She didn't understand. If she was doing all this to change the future, why did it look like it wasn't helping?

"If what I'm doing is supposed to change the future, why hasn't it?" Lucy asked out loud.

"What do you mean? How do you know it's not?" Dream Lucy asked.

"How you look. It changed every dream except for this one and the last one. You still look like hell. Like, nothing I did changed anything." Lucy said, tilting her head slightly. Dream Lucy startled as she took a step back. "Who are you really? Are you the one I was warned about? Rogue, from the future? Or are you someone totally different?" Lucy pressed.

"I'm not! I'm you! Once Eclipse is destroyed, everything will be turned back to normal. Please! I'll be set free of here and be able to go back like this never happened. Please!" Dream Lucy said, lunging at her and grabbing her shirt in her fists.

Dream Lucy looked desperate. Her eyes looked dead and wild. She would never have thought that her eyes would ever look like that. It didn't make any sense.

Lucy grabbed her dream self's wrists and tried to pull her off, but she would budge. She pulled and pulled. She didn't understand why she was acting like this. It was unlike her. Well, more like unlike herself.

"Let go! Stop!" Lucy shouted, trying to get herself free of her dream self's grip.

"You have to stop it! You can't let the dragons come!" Dream Lucy said, shaking Lucy by her shirt.

Lucy ground her teeth, trying to break free, but it seemed impossible. Just then, a hand appeared, grabbing Dream Lucy''s wrists as an arm wrapped around Lucy's waist, pulling them apart.

"Huh? What?" Lucy said before looking over her shoulder to see Jellal's angry face. "Jellal." Lucy whispered in surprise.

"I thought I said to leave her alone." Jellal's tone was low and dark. It sent shivers down Lucy's spine. "We're leaving. And please don't come for her again." Jellal said, pulling Lucy back and away from Dream Lucy.

"No!" Dream Lucy shouted as she jumped toward them.

That's when everything around them faded.

Jellal opened his eyes as he breathed out in relief. He pulled his arm away as Lucy's eyes opened. Lucy sat up and looked around the room. She had to make sure she was actually awake this time.

"Are you okay?" Jellal asked after a moment.

Lucy looked up at him and nodded. "Yes. Thank you." Lucy said with a yawn. "Sorry." Lucy muttered, stretching her arms over her head.

Jellal chuckled. "It's fine. What was it that she wanted this time?" Jellal asked.

"I don't know. She just said I shouldn't have been there. So, I don't know what happened. She just seemed to snap. I don't get it." Lucy said, sagging in exhaustion.

They heard a sigh from across the room. "You need sleep, but it seems your dreams aren't going to let you." Porlyusica said.

"No kidding." Lucy mumbled. Lucy looked back to Jellal. "I think she didn't pull me in this time. Just like last time, I think it was Eclipse itself. Why? I have no idea. But she freaked when I mentioned this one." Lucy said, motioning to the cloaked figure with her thumb.

"She didn't have you spring him from prison?" Jellal asked, shocked.

Lucy shook her head. "No. In fact, she didn't understand why I would, considering we were supposed to be changing the future to stop the dragons from coming." Lucy said, not thinking about anyone else who was in the room until she heard a gasp from across the room. "Oh. Right. Oops." Lucy said, scratching the back of her head.

"Dragons?!" Porlyusica asked as her eyes shot wide.

Lucy sighed. "Yes." Lucy said, not really wanting to explain everything again.

"How are you sure?" The healer asked.

"Honestly? After this dream, I'm not so sure at all." Lucy admitted. Lucy looked over to the window. "How's the battle going?" Lucy asked, changing the subject.

"From what I've gathered, it looks like Laxus and Gajeel are winning." Mira said with a smile.

Lucy nodded. "Good. According to what I was told before, we shouldn't have won all our battles. But we also had Team A: Natsu, Erza, Gray, Me and Wendy. Then we had Team B: you, Jellal as Mystogan, Juvia, Gajeel, and Laxus. Since I took Team A out of the equation, things have been different. Not to mention, I switched Juvia with myself." Lucy explained.

"And you took Raven Tail out as well. You weren't supposed to win that one from what you said." Jellal added.

Lucy shook her head. "No. I was supposed to lose. But that's only because Raven Tail cheated. I didn't let that happen this time. Plus, I didn't use Urano Metria like I should've. I used Grand Chariot." Lucy said.

"And Sema." Jellal growled as he glared at her. "You could have killed yourself using that much magic." Jellal scolded.

"I know, I'm sorry!" Lucy said sheepishly, holding her hand up in surrender.

Jellal sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I don't want you using that much magic again. Pushing yourself will lead to Magic Deficiency Disease." Jellal scolded.

Lucy sighed. "I know. I'm sorry." She said, remembering her mother.

Jellal sighed. "Great, now that is covered. What is your plan for this Darton person?" Jellal asked.

Lucy blinked. "How-" Lucy started but cut her gaze to Cobra and narrowed her eyes at him. "It was you, wasn't it?" Lucy accused.

Cobra snorted. "Who else?" Cobra asked.

Lucy huffed. She found it annoying that he knew everything before she could voice it. She guessed it was par for the course when it came to him.

Lucy sighed. "Honestly, I don't know." Lucy answered, looking back to Jellal.

"I may have an idea of what you can do." Cobra said, gaining four pairs of eyes looking at him.

"What did you have in mind?" Jellal asked.

Cobra smirked, looking at Mira. "I think it would be best for you and the healer here to step out. The fewer people that know, the easier it will be to pull off." Cobra said, motioning with his head toward the door.

Mira sighed while Porlyusica huffed, but they both complied and left the room.

"Was that really necessary?" Jellal asked with narrowed eyes.

Cobra nodded. "Yes. Now, this is what I think we should do..."

So, that's that chapter.

I know it was on the short side, but hey, I can't always write 10k word count chapters every time!

Sorry to keep you waiting, but the updates will be random and at my own pace.

I might update several times in a month, or it may be several months before you get an update.

I have other projects I'm working on, also, so I'm bouncing around with them.

Wherever I have inspiration is what I start to write at that time.

So, I hope you've enjoyed this so far.

Stay tuned!
