Hey everyone!
Another round of updates and I need to get writing some more... which I'm about to do as soon as I have uploaded these latest updates. I have no plans to drop the bi-weekly updates. They may not be on assigned days but they will be happening still. I have some time off next month and I'm hoping that when the schools start up again it'll be a bit calmer as well.
Lots of love,

Breaking Traditions – Part 64:
School holidays had arrived and that meant Draco was now home for the summer. He was delighted to be home as that meant he could play with his baby sister. It was also giving the Grandparents a break as well and Lucius and Narcissa were able to do things as well.
Despite Rosalie's birthday being still at least three months away, Narcissa was already starting to think about her daughter's birthday. Lucius had tried to convince her not to start but he knew Narcissa was excited for their daughter's birthday as she had longed for a daughter for so long and now she had one it was hard for her not to start getting excited for her birthday.
Lucius was able to hide the fact that he was starting to get excited about Rosa's birthday.
"You must be starting to get excited about Rosalie's birthday Lucius…" Abraxas spoke as he and Cygnus had joined Lucius for a round of Firewhiskey.
"Of course I'm excited Father. I can just hide it slightly better than my wife," came the reply, "what I am more shocked about is Meredith's return. I had no idea that she was still in touch with mother."
"Your mother has a lot of explaining to do," Abraxas replied, "but I do understand at last the position your sister was put in when she was an Auror in the Second Wizarding War," he said with a sigh, "she was caught in the middle and that is something she should never have been put in," he said.
"We couldn't help what was happening," Lucius said, "it was the side we fell on… or rather you fell on and dragged me with you," he said, earning a sigh from his father.
"Yes. I think I will have to put my hands up on this one and take responsibility as it is my fault rather that you and she were dragged into it," Abraxas spoke before he looked at Cygnus.
"Meredith vanished during the First Wizarding War and we thought wasn't in contact," he explained, "she wasn't happy with Lucius and I being Death Eaters and she went into the Auror side of things and that is something she swore to never forgive us for."
"Obviously she's heard about Rosalie and wants to know her niece," Cygnus spoke, "and, yes it will bring up old feelings, but she's still your daughter and you have to try and build bridges somehow," he said, "Rosalie is the reason she is coming back… but maybe she wishes to mend things with you both or she has decided to forget about it all and just wants to be with her family again. Either way I think you should allow her the chance to see you both have changed," he said.
Silence fell in the study as the men drank and thought before there was a knock on the door and Priscilla walked in.
"Let me guess Meredith appeared in conversation," she said looking at her husband.
"Of course she did Priscilla and you know it. You drop that at Draco's birthday dinner and then nothing for all this time. When were you going to tell me you have been in contact with her all this time?" Abraxas asked as he looked at his wife.
"Well Cissa was told minutes earlier and it didn't seem fair on her to have to keep the secret so I told you," Priscilla said, "she never had a problem with me so she kept in touch with me and knows that has been going on."
"You could have told me sooner," Abraxas said as he looked at his wife, "I would have liked to have known that she was OK and doing well. I haven't heard her name in a while."
"She's been undercover for years but the work is done and she's heard about Rosalie and wants to meet her niece and I said nobody would have an issue with it," Priscilla said, "I hope that is the case," she added with a death stare at her boys who nodded.
"It would be nice to see her again and to clear the air if that's what she needs," Lucius said, "I have missed having my sister around," he said as he bit his lip as he saw Narcissa appear.
"Yes I did know but I also had a feeling your mother would tell you soon enough," she said as she looked at her husband, "she wanted to speak to someone about it and chose me. Now I do hope that, when the time comes, there will be no arguments with her. You are civil and clear the air and then move on. If Mer is anything like her mother then she will not want to leave the Manor once she is here so I will ask for a room to be prepared for her."
"She wants to come as soon as she's back which should be in a couple of weeks," Priscilla said as she remembered the last letter her daughter had sent. "She has to speak to Fudge first and then I shall go and meet her with Cissa and you men will watch Draco and Rosa until our return and she will meet Rosalie and then after that Abraxas and Lucius will talk to her alone. That is the way things will work," she said before leaving with Narcissa.
The men were silent for a few moments after the women had left and Abraxas burst out laughing.
"I think we have been told how things are going to go and I think that we should listen to my wife or else she will get very annoyed fast," he said and Lucius nodded.
"I do not need to be reminded in any way how my mother can be," he said as he thought back to when he was a child, "she was formidable then and she still is now… and that is something that I will not want to annoy at all."
