Next day, in the morning:
The train finally makes it the the station and in the Land of Fire.
After they pack their bags and walk off the bus, Gon yawns and stretches his arms, "Boy, did I sleep!"
"I'll admit as well, that was some good sleeping." Killua stretches as well.
"It was great that the train had separate rooms." Wendy says while holding carla in her arms.
"That was the great part, cause sleeping with them would of felt weird." Carla mutters, while looking at them, especially killua.
"Huh?" Killua turns to carla, "Something wrong, cat?"
"Hmph, forget about it." Carla scoffs and turns her head, which gives Killua a tick mark.
"Now, now." Gon calms him down.
"You too, carla." Wendy calms her down too, "We should go and get some breakfast before heading to the leaf village."
"I agree, cause I'm starving." Gon pats his stomach before they head out.
Later on in a nearby restaurant, while they're eating:
"I wonder what these ninja guys are gonna be like." Gon speaks up, "They sound like they do cool things.
"I'll say." Wendy speaks up too, "They probably use something that's similar to Nen and Magic."
"I think so too, but what type is really the question..." Killua adds, "But who nows, they probably have aura below or equal to ours and they'll likely only rely on tricks, I mean... ninja's do that."
"Let's not be cocky, We don't really know that." Carla speaks up, "They could surprise us with whatever they have."
"That's why I said 'who knows' cat." Killua tells her, "Can't you listen?"
"Excuse me?" Carla rebukes.
"Not now, guys." Wendy calms them down while Gon just eats and watches.
"Hmph!" Killua and Carla turn from each other, while Wendy sighs at there arguing.
After Gon gulps his food down, "True, We don't really know what type of aura they have and we can't let our guards down since it's exam. So I say you both are right." He then eats again.
"I agree." Wendy nods, "You both have good points. No need to argue."
Even though she said that, Killua and Carla still find each other with bad attitudes and turn away from the other.
5 minutes later, they finish they're breakfast and head back out.
"We're almost to the leaf village." Gon reads the map, "It's not that far away now."
"That's a relief." Wendy sighs before they keep moving.
After 20 minutes:
They are now at the leaf villages gate.
"Wow! so this is the leaf village? So cool!" Gon says excitedly.
"What scenery..." Wendy excitedly says as well.
"This really does look like an actual ninja village." Killua is a little amazed.
"The gate is huge and looks a little old." Carla observes, "Let's stay alert when we go in."
"Huh? Why?" Gon doesn't get it.
"Well, it is our first time coming to a ninja village, so it is best to observe our surroundings." Killua tells him.
"For once, we actually agree." Carla says.
"Guess so." Killua replied.
"It's true that we should stay together, but it still wouldn't hurt to explore this place since we'll be staying here for the exam." Wendy explains.
"She's right." Gon nod and grins, "Let's ease up on the seriousness and have some fun. We're in a ninja village after all."
"Hmmm, fine." Carla sighs.
"It won't be that bad, so why not." Killua tags along and they make their way through the gate.
While going in, they see two joinin guards on the side of the gate.
"Hey there, can we help you three?" The two joinins(Izuma and Kotetsu) come to them in a good manner.
"We're hear on a job request to take the chunin exam." Wendy explains and gon shows them the paper, to which they looked over and signed.
"Alright, then you guys are free to go." Izuma approves.
"And also, you guys are new, here's a map to guide you around the village." Kotetsu hands to Gon.
"Perfect, thanks a lot." Gon takes it and they continue on their way.
While looking around:
As they walk in the crowd, They saw a lot of cool colored ornaments around the village shops as they walked through, which Gon and Wendy beam at.
"I'm already liking this place!" Gon excitedly beams.
"Wow!" Wendy beans as well, while holding carla.
"A lot of people here." Killua looks around before eyeing a shop, "That shop looks like it has tons of sweets." He smirks dramatically, "Just my style."
"Uh-oh, it's his sweet tooth." Gon sweat-drops.
"Oh please, I'm not going anywhere without tasting something sweet." Killua insists.
"That's all? how childish." Carla mutters.
"We could go in and see what different types they have." Wendy doesn't mind.
"You too?" Carla is a little surprised.
"See? Wendy gets me." Killua is happy to here that.
"Don't worry, I was joking when I said that. I don't mind having any either." Gon assures, "So lets swoop in there and see what they have." They proceed into the shop.
"Welcome." The staff waves and they wave back.
They then start to explore some aisles and see different colorful and stylish type of sweets, much to there amazement, especially killua.
"This is what I'm talking about!" Killua beams at the candy site.
"That one is real pretty." Wendy eyes a mixed purple and pink diamond one.
"It sure does." Carla agrees.
"Look over!" Gon points, "Now these ones look tasty." He eyes a huge colorful circle size lollipop.
"Good eye!" Killua beams, so does wendy.
"Let's just get what we laid our eyes on." Carla suggested.
"That's a great idea!" Wendy happily agrees, so does the boys.
After picking the sweets they want and out of shop:
"Now this is more like it." Killua says while eating some chocolate as they walk around.
"So gooood!!" Both gon and wendy bliss at their pick.
"I concur." Carla finds hers good as well.
After they finish and save the rest for later:
"Now, what other shop should we explore next?" Gon looks around.
"I have no clue." Killua replies.
"They all look very interesting." Wendy says.
"Are you guys forgetting about our objective? No way." Carla says otherwise and reminds them.
"Don't worry, cat, we haven't forgotten anything. Besides, stop being in such a rush." Killua looks over at carla, "It ain't like you're taking the exam. You're only with us just because."
"You little brat. I'm with you guys for a good reason, and that's to look after wendy." Carla rebukes, "While I do trust Gon with her, I definitely can't trust you."
"I don't care for your trust." Killua sighs, "What an uptight cat, even Happy is never like this. I enjoy him way more compared to you."
"Stop comparing us!" Carla demands.
"I just did." Killua smirks mischievously, sticks his tongue out at her.
"Both of you stop it!" Wendy halts them.
"When will you two ever get along?" Gon questions.
"Hmph!" Killua and Carla turn from each other.
Gon and Wendy can only sighs at their argument as they keep on walking.
"Oh yeah, Killua, do you mind checking the map?" Wendy asks.
"Sure thing." Killua takes it out of his bag and does so, "The hokages mansion is close."
"So we're almost there, huh." Gon gets it.l but is still enjoying himself.
"Finally." Carla is relieved.
A few minutes later:
"This mansion is huge." Killua views as they stare at the building.
"It sure is." Gon agrees.
"This hokage is the village head after all." Wendy nods.
"Let's go on and go in." Carla suggested.
They then run into two joinin, who decide to lead them to the office.
In the office:
They walk in and talk with the third hokage on taking the exam via job request and he approves.
10 minutes later:
After walking out of the office and back outside, "Well, that talk didn't take long." Killua says with hands in pocket.
Gon smiles, "He reminds me of Netero-San." He refers to third hokage.
"I thought the same." Wendy nods.
"You guys also didn't have to prove anything to be fit for it." Carla added.
"Except he said that one of the higher up jonin or whatever their called, will be supervising us throughout the exam." Killua states.
"Being supervised by a ninja sounds amazing." Gon grins.
"You'll say anything's amazing." Carla sweat-drops.
"We should of asked him what type of aura that they use." Wendy says, "There has to be some type they use."
"I agree. But I'm sure the supervised we're getting will explaining all that to us." Killua assures
"Your probably right." Wendy agrees.
"Yeah, I think so too." Gon adds, "Anyway, now that we're approved, let's explore this village a bit more." He raises a fist, and they agree, and carla doesn't mind it this time.
