With the help of Jackie, he gives his daughter a normal, human upbringing as best he can. He never tells her about the other half of her heritage, but 16 yrs later he realises that the time has come to tell her the truth.

The Doctor visits a grave ever so often, of a certain Clara Oswald he just can't seem to put his finger on who she is, but perhaps this young woman could provide insight.
