Falling...I was falling of that I was certain there is no way I wasn't falling. Everything around me felt hot as if I was melting and being submerged into a cool yet burning hot lake, I was certain this was the end. I could feel everything and I could hear everything as well, it was loud too loud. I felt myself sink deeper into my unearthly grave and my eyes grew heavy with each passing second.

"CLOUD!" Tifa?

"CLOUD TALK TO ME MAN!" Barret?

"I'm sorry Cloud I wish I could've done
more. You won't die I refuse to let you die!"

Wait that voice it can't be...Aerith?

"Live my bodyguard you've done enough, live and be free for once. I love you cloud thank you my SOLDIER"

"Wait what do you mean? What's happening to me?" Cloud felt hot he felt as of his body wasn't his own anymore and worst of all he felt a burning liquid fill his lungs making him kick and flail, oxygen he needed. He saw a light and with one las ditch effort to survive he started kicking towards it using all of his last strength and all of his will power he was almost there, as soon as he was close...

*Gasp!* *Cough! cough! cough!"

Cloud lifted his face as quick as possible so he could fill his oxygen deprived lungs with fresh clean air. He almost thought he was a goner. Thank Gaia for his Mako infused anatomy that puddle almost did him in-Wait! Puddle?!

"What the hell?" Cloud look frantically around only to notice he appeared to be in some alley way with only the puddle that was drowning him a few moments ago. This was wrong he knew it, he definitely knew he was with the others at the planets core and this definitely did not look like the planets cores.

"Where am I? This can't be possible!" Cloud was shaken, how does one go from being deep inside a crater to an alley way in Gaia knows where.
Spotting his trustful buster sword he limped towards it and picked it up using it as a crutch due to his wounds that he received while fighting that bastard Sephiroth.

"I have to get out of here. I need to see where in the hell I am, if I'm lucky I'll be able to contact Tifa and the others so cid can pick me up on his high wind." He limped towards what seemed like the end of the alley and towards the light of the streets. As soon as he reached the end he immediately realized that he didn't recognize the area he was in.

"Ok think cloud, maybe this is a city that has never been touched by Shinra, yeah that's got to be it!" Cloud's false provided hope was interrupted when a stranger bumped into him.

"Woah buddy watch it!" The stranger exclaimed. Cloud noticed the stranger had blonde hair, blue eyes and strange markings on his cheek's.

"Sorry I was- that's not important, hey excuse me but what is this City called?" Cloud asked in what he thought was he most calm voice.

"Are you kidding me? Dude everyone knows this is Piltover!" The stranger looked up and down at cloud and took a step back due to noticing his enormous blade. "Hey buddy word of advice I would put that big knife away if I was you. Piltover cops ain't to happy about weapon users nowadays"

"Piltover? Hey what is the closes city to piltover?" Cloud asked in half desperate attempt to learn of his new whereabouts.

"Dude are you high?" Now the stranger was getting on cloud's nerves, he just wanted answers.

"Please just tell" Cloud was close to storming off. The only that stopped him was the fact that he didn't know where he was

"Look man the closest thing is Zaun but we don't go to that side of town of you know what I mean and then there's valorant city which is a few hours on car from here" the stranger explained as much as he could

"Ok do you have a map of or something?since I've never heard of a city named Piltover on Gaia" Cloud noticed the stranger was looking at him as of he'd grown a second head.

"Gaia? Dude you do know the planet is called Runeterra Right?"
"Runeterra" "Runeterra" "Runeterra

"No...your wrong it can't be" Cloud didn't want to believe it, it was a lie maybe these people were hicks who called the planet something else!

" Hey you ok buddy yohoo? The stranger waved his hand in front of cloud only to immediately feel himself get grabbed by the shoulders in a vice grip.

"Show me! Show me a map of the planet now!" Cloud roared the order making the stranger pull out his phone in an effort to look up the planet from orbit.

Clouds eyes widened in horror at what he was shown, his face was always calm and serene, stoic and emotionless but now his eyes were wide and full of horror and fear. Cloud in a fit of shock fell onto his knees and his sword clanked on the ground as he lost his grip on it as well.

"Hey buddy calm down everything gonna be ok, come on I got ya" the stranger tried to help Cloud up but for some reason Cloud wouldn't budge from the ground.

Cloud immediately tried to recover his composure and picked up his blade effortlessly making the strangers eyes widen with surprise as to how a heavy looking weapon was picked up with almost no visible strain.

"Do you need a doctor? Listen I can call the cops if you need help trust me"

Cloud thought on what to answer, best to lay low and keep out of trouble for now. Especially in unknown territory or better said unknown realities.

"Thanks and no thanks. Listen I think I drank to much last night so I'm sorry if I seemed crazy I'm just sobering up now" Cloud lied effortlessly trying to sound as tired as possible.

"You sure bud?" The stranger looked not entirely convinced.

"Yeah don't worry I'll be fine, I live a few blocks from here just 6 minutes away" Cloud hoped this was enough to convince him.

"Well...ok. listen I don't normally do this for strangers since you can't be to careful nowadays but here's my number" the stranger immediately pulled out a note book and wrote a his contact information. "If you need anything tell me, I'm planning on becoming an adventurer so finding lost things is gonna be me specialty or in this case finding some who got lost his way back" the stranger winked at Cloud.

"Somehow I feel like my phone might not work here" Cloud thought with a sweat drop.

"Thank you for you help. My name's cloud by the way Cloud strife"

"Nice to meet ya, my name's Ezreal and good luck to you pal!" With that the now named Ezreal walked away while flashing him a thumbs up.

Cloud started to walk all while noticing he was actually in a market place and that people kept looking weirdly at him. Specifically people kept looking at his eyes and his huge sword on his back .

He kept walking and decided to enter an alley way again. As soon as he was a bit further in he pushed all of his strength into his legs and jumped as high as he could landing on the roof a building. He noticed he could go higher onto Another rooftop and did just that.

As soon as he reached the top his eyes widened in astonishment at seeing what looked like the most clean and advanced city he had ever seen in his life. He couldn't believe it he knew the facts were in his face but he just refused to believe it. What would happen now? Where is Tifa? Where is Barret? Red? Cid? Vincent? Yuffie? Cait sith?

"I refuse to let you die" Aerith! cloud thought

"Just what did you do Aerith? Where have you send me?" Cloud had to act with caution, if he got sent here he could go back it was only a matter of time before he found out how.

Unfortunately the world doesn't work like that, not for anyone and especially not for him.

Looking once more at the view of the city y steeled himself and decided to get to work. First step more information and then he would see what would happen from there. He was a SOLDIER first class...self proclaimed but it didn't matter it's still his title and a SOLDIER never gives up.

"Well here goes nothing, dear Gaia I need some vacations"
