Cloud's POV:

"I seriously can't believe the type of cereal this world has" Cloud muttered to himself while shoveling a spoon full of what seemed to be a colorful type of cereal.

As far as he could remember the cereal of his old world was pretty bland and didn't have that much variety. If there was one benefit of being stuck in this world it was the food variety for him.

*Yawn!*

He heard an incredibly long yawn come from behind him, he already knew who it was.

"Morning Cloudy" Seraphine greeted him with that nickname that never failed to make him cringe. "Is there anymore of that left?" She gestured to his bowl.

Swallowing what he had in his mouth he looked at her and couldn't help but give a tiny laugh at her very disheveled morning look, it was...cute in a way.

"Yeah there's still a lot left, and by the way I already fed Bao" Cloud nudged his head towards the cat Seraphine owned. It was still eating it's canned food

"Oh thanks Cloud!" He watched as she grabbed a bowl from her dish rack and then tried to reach for the cereal she kept in one of the top kitchen cupboard's. She couldn't quite reach it which made cloud slightly smirk.

"Here let me help, it's my fault I left it a bit too out of reach for you" Cloud got up his seat and approached Seraphine from behind. He reached for the cereal box and in doing so pressed up against Seraphine making her slightly squeak. "Here, sorry about that I'll leave it closer next time" with that he returned to his seat and resumed eating.

"Th-thank you Cloud" She stammered out and had a faint blush making cloud raise an eyebrow and then shrug his shoulders in dismissal.

"So any plans for today?" Cloud asked.

"Well actually I do have plans" Seraphine proclaimed. "You see I actually want to visit that new mall that just opened up last week, and since yesterday was payday I want to see if I can buy a few things" she smiled sweetly at him.

"Oh...well have fun" Cloud noticed her pouting at him. "What?" Was his intelligent question.

"Don't you want to come with me?" She asked.

"Not really" Cloud answered making her pout even more.

"Well to bad, you!" She pointed a finger directly in his face. "Are coming with me. I need someone to help carry my things"

*Sigh*

"Fine, I don't really mind accompanying you Sera" he finished eating the last bits of his cereal and drank the rest of the flavored milk. "So when are we going?" He asked.

"We're going after I finish my breakfast" she hadn't even filled her bowl with the cereal yet. "You in the meantime should shower, wouldn't wanna go out smelling like death" In actuality he always smelled very good but that wasn't something she wouldn't ever say to his face.

Cloud rolled his eyes. He just got up and headed to his room which Seraphine gave him. He proceeded to pick out his clothes for the day and headed into the shower.

"That feels nice" Cloud thought as warm water hit his body. Back in the slums of Midgar hot water was a luxury and even then the water that came out was slightly brown and not all that clear.

He couldn't help but think back at all the simple things this world had, simple things like hot water or running light which in his old world people fought over even killed. Shaking out of his stupor he decided not to dwell on it, after all that was Gaia and this is Runeterra.

He stopped showering and brushed his teeth. He returned to his room, and started dressing himself in the clothes that he had selected which was a thin dark blue turtle neck sweater, some blue standard jeans and a pair of black sneakers with an odd check mark. Looking at himself in the mirror satisfied, he decided he was set to go.

"Well at least it might be fun" he told his reflection. "It can't be as bad as Tifa's Shopping"

"I was right, this isn't as bad as Tifa's Shopping" Cloud watched as Seraphine purchased what looked like a plushie of some fox women. The plushie was put into a bag and then Seraphine handed said bag to him adding more to the already nine bags he was holding for her."this is worse!" He mentally cried out.

"Come on Cloud!" Seraphine started to drag him to another store making him shiver for what was to come next. "Can you believe this new mall has four levels? I wanna see them all!" Seraphine smiled with joy which only made Cloud look at her with horror.

He noticed she was dragging him towards a toy store which made him look at her with a questioning gaze.

"What? I like collecting things" she said with an embarrassed blush.

"Uh-huh...just know that I won't play tea party with you" Cloud said with a mocking tone.

"Oh you! I don't buy those types of toys" Seraphine blushed even more."I usually buy things that are considered collectibles, like Funko pops"

Cloud had no idea what the hell a Funko pop was. With a shrug of his shoulders he just told her to lead the way.

They eventually ended Seraphines shopping spree which resulted in cloud holding at least 17 bags with different items ranging from clothing to other random things like bracelet's or music related items.

"Wow that was fun!" Seraphine giggled. Which earned her a deadpan look from Cloud. "Oh come on cloud it was fun, too bad we only made it to the second floor there's just too many stores here" she lamented and Cloud sighed in relief.

It wasn't physically taxing not even close thanks to his physiology, but it was mentally exhausting.

"How about we get some food, I heard the food court here has a lot of variety" Seraphines suggestion made Cloud's stomach rumble."someone's hungry~" Seraphine giggled.

"Well can you blame me? We've been here for at least 4 hours" Cloud grumbled out loud.

"Fine, fine let's get some food for the brave mall hero" She dragged Cloud once again linking their arms. If one looked at them they would assume they were a couple. The thought of it made Seraphine blush with glee.

Cloud noticed how they quickly reached the food court and immediately the smell of food reached his nose.

*Growl~*

He turned to his female companion and saw her holding her stomach while sporting an enormous blush across her face.

"I g-guess I'm kinda hungry too heh" Seraphine wryly smiled which earned a smirk from cloud.

"Well it seems I'm not the only one that's hungry" Cloud directed a small amused smile at her.

"Oh shut up!" Seraphine pouted.

Both of them made there way to what seemed like a small burger stand. Both of them ordered a cheeseburger but in Seraphines case her's didn't include pickles.

They both sat down and started to eat, to say cloud was satisfied was an understatement. The food in this world was league's better than the food of his world. It was incredible how good the quality of the meat this world was and to his surprise some of it was considered junk food.

"Mmmm, this is pretty good" Seraphine was enjoying her burger.

"It's pretty damn good" Cloud said after taking another bite of his burger. " Still I prefer the food you make" Cloud said nonchalantly making Seraphine blush.

"Oh th-thank you Cloud that's very sweet of you" Seraphine stuttered.

Both of them enjoyed their meal, Cloud enjoyed it a bit more to the point he finished it instantly. Both of them decided to call it a day and headed home Seraphine decided to help Cloud with the bags but Cloud denied making her smile at him being a gentleman.

"Oh man that was fun!" Seraphine entered her apartment with cloud right behind her. She kicked her shoes off at the entrance and jumped on her couch to lay down.

Cloud's right eye could only twitch at how she acted as if she was the one who carried all the bags the he currently had in his hands.

"You're meaning of fun and mine are completely different" Cloud closed the apartment door and set the bags on the kitchen counter being careful not to drop anything. "All I did was get used as a pack Chocobo"

"A pack Choco-what? Seraphine asked I confusion.

"Shit!" Cloud cursed internally, his exhausted mind made him spit out one of the few phrases he probably shouldn't have muttered out.

He never told Seraphine that he was from a different world just that he was from a different part of "this"world. There was no way she would believe him if he told her that he was some dimensional traveler in fact he could see her just saying yes to everything he would say to avoid provoking someone she could deem unstable.

"It's uh a phrase from my hometown" Cloud manged to say it without stuttering as to sound more convincing.

"Well... that's a wired phrase" Seraphine looked even more confused. "What's a choco-thing?" Cloud sighed at her question.

"In my hometown a Chocobo just means giant bird. They had a belief that it was a giant yellow bird that could be used for many things, one of them was a type of pack mule." He lied expertly.

"Hmm yellow like your hair?" Seraphine asked with a giggle.

It was bullshit how that stupid joke seemed to follow him even here. If there was one thing he wouldn't allow it was that.

"No not like my hair" he said through gritted teeth.

"Well I learned something new about you today" she smiled widely at him.

*Yawn~*

"Well would you look at that it's pretty late already" Seraphine said and cloud looked at the clock mounted on a wall. It read 8:15 p.m.

"I think we should call it a day now" Seraphine jumped from the couch and headed to her room with cloud right behind her since it was literally across from her's. She turned around and surprised Cloud with a hug. "Thank you for putting up with me today Cloud" she said blushing faintly.

"It's fine I had a bit of fun too." He confessed with a smirk.

" You gotta admit we make on helluva team" she lifted her hand in front of his face with in open palm.

Cloud just starred oddly at her hand and then at her not really understanding what she was doing.

"Geez you're supposed to high five me" she pouted. "Here like this" She guided his hand and made him smack her in a high five gesture.

In that moment a certain memory passed through his head making his eyes go wide consuming everything around him. Seraphine's pink hair was replaced with a beautiful silky light brown color, her sapphire eyes were gone and in their place were a pair of beautiful green eyes.

Flashback:

Cloud remembered traveling through the worst parts of the slums Midgar had. He remembered crossing what seemed to be a junkyard and climbing up a ladder to reach the other side of it.

*Huff*

"Look who just arrived" a girl said. She had light brown hair, green eyes and was wearing a pink long dress and a red jacket over it.

"Maybe if you helped I could've cleared those monsters quicker Aerith" Cloud rolled his eyes at her.

"What and take away your moment of saving the damsel in distress? No way" Aerith giggled.

"Besides we make a great team, you the trusty bodyguard and me the innocent princess" She stuck her tongue out at him.

"Whatever" Cloud grumbled.

"Come on don't be like that we've it made this far together!" She lifted her hand right in his face wide open. She noticed Cloud's confused face. "Here like this wierdo!" Aerith grabbed his hand and touched hers in a soft high five.

Cloud felt his heart lightly thump when his hand made contact with Aerith's. He didn't know why but he didn't want to let go.

"See like that" Aerith smiled sweetly at him. The thumping returned in his chest.

Flashback end

"Cloud are you ok?" Seraphine's concerned voice woke him up from his memories.

"Y-yeah...sorry I was just surprised, that's all" he Said. Seraphine noticed his small stutter.

"Ok...well thanks again cloud, I really enjoyed today. Goodnight Cloudy!" she giggled and gave Cloud one last hug before quickly retreating into her room with a huge blush.

Cloud silently turned around and entered his room. He changed into his night clothes, brushed his teeth and finally climbed into his bed. He stared at his rooms ceiling deep in thought, wondering how his friends were doing back in his world. He kept on staring wishing some void would swallow him and spit him back to his old world, of course that was just wishful thinking. Cloud sighed deeply and muttered one last thing before finally succumbing to sleep.

"Goodnight..."
