Chapter 60: Culinary Cut Up

Neenah felt she was getting used to her new station in life. She supposed her life could be worse. She slowly realized how big of a bullet she dodged. Yes, she was under Naruto's thumb, but she did not have to pose as a gangster anymore. He had her car, but considering the cops would be looking for it…it being under lock and key was actually for the best, she thought. Given Naruto had plenty of safehouses, most of the time, she was alone to 'enjoy the luxury' of his penthouse, mostly only cleaning after herself. Hell, Naruto even got her cat for her and let Snickerdoodle stay. Neenah wanted to be in Naruto's good graces and came to her own conclusion that she'd do what it takes. Better than being in jail or dead in the gutter, she thought.

Naruto awoke, having stayed at his Eclipse Towers penthouse. Suiko was asleep on his nightstand as the alarm clock blared. He turned it off as he smelled breakfast cooking. He sauntered out to see Neenah with an apron.

"Morning, Papi. I'm making some beef empanadas." She said to him, rather chipperly.

Naruto noticed she was wearing a bit of makeup and moving her waist side to side while cooking.

"Another attempt for your car?" Naruto asked.

"No. It's to keep you from selling it." Neenah said simply as he hurriedly ate. "I realize that getting it back from you isn't exactly a good idea. I used the thing for too many crimes, it's recognizable. It's safe, I'm safe. That's all that matters. Besides, it's better than the alternatives. So…thank you."

"You're welcome." Naruto said before finishing his food. "Either way, I'll be leaving."

Naruto went back to his room to shower and get dress opting to wear a white Base 5 t-shirt under an opened stone colored shirt, a pair of black khaki pants with an orange belt, silver round-toe boots, his Datejust watch, his fingerless gloves, and a pair of steel Rimmers aviators. His phone rang and he looked to see it was Jase calling.

"Jase. Is everything-"

"It is. If anything, it's going to work out better than we hoped. Jakob apparently got the hookup with a friend of mine here in Venturas. Apparently, he saw him and had to hire Jakob. I vouched for him all considering we could use people here. Hope that's not an issue."

"No, that's actually a good thing all things considered. I presume Olga, Ned, and Catrina are going with him…having a small subset in Venturas to help with the casino is good." Naruto said before asking about all the paperwork.

"It's handled. As of today, the heads of Tidal Fox now control Caligula's, main profits split four ways. Nora aided." Jase affirmed.

"And the Italians?" Naruto asked.

"Dealt with it yesterday and the timing was perfect. Considering they were about to reach out to Cripiani, we removed them off the board. There's still Epilogue wanting to work with us. You did talk with them?" Jase said.

"Isaribi and I agreed to it. I'm not going to turn down work that pays…and Isaribi has friends in that group. And when I heard about Toreno…he's better an ally…than an enemy." Naruto remarked. "So how soon are you and Alex coming back to LS?"

"Leaving this morning actually. We're driving back in style. Alex won a 9F Cabrio at the casino today…and I won a Rapid GT. We're packing up and driving to LS. It'll be fun."

"I'll see you back in the office, soon enough." Naruto said before hanging up. "Now what to do today?"

Naruto smirked seeing that before remembering Tiana. He left the apartment, calling BEW for a cab ride. Getting dropped at his West Vinewood warehouse, he went up to the mission marker.

[TP - Snatch Up Some Supply]

Naruto entered the warehouse to see Tiana cleaning up the place as Charlotte was on her phone going through her LifeInvader page.

"T, I said I was sorry." Charlotte said sheepishly.

"You used my cucumber…" Tiana said annoyed.

"My vibrator was broken!" Charlotte admitted before noticing Naruto. "T, Naruto's here."

Tiana put the broom aside.

"About time, boss. I was worried that you were cheesing this." Tiana said as Naruto cracked his knuckles.

"No, I wasn't. I have plenty of things to deal with. So what do you need me to do?" Naruto asked.

"We're going to need a few things. Restaurant supplies, kitchen supplies, foodstock, and cash to get started. We can start with the foodstock and get the kitchen supplies." Tiana affirmed. "There's a Benson with Fridgit livery about to be leaving Popular Street to be due at Raven Slaughterhouse. That truck has high quality Grade A meat. Steal the truck, get it resprayed, and contact me."

Naruto nodded before leaving. With a blip on the map, Naruto noticed a PCJ 600 on the side of the road and he promptly jacked it before racing off for Popular Street.

As Naruto was on route for Popular Street, Isaribi was handling the sale of weed with Jon, Tomoko, and Yara all driving Post-OP Boxvilles.

"So after this, I can join the Blue Banekos." Jon asked.

"Considering the lack of men there, I'm worried about them harassing you a bit." Isaribi said gently.

"I can protect myself. Maybe not as much as you could for me, but still." Jon said, trying to sound tough.

"Cute." Tomoko said before looking at her mini-map. "We're at the place."

They all stopped at the spot which was a house on El Gordo Drive where one could see the lighthouse in the distance. Isaribi got off the van to talk to the buyer.

"Eight bundles of weeds as promised. My money?" She said as the buyer handed her a briefcase. "Good."

The buyer and his associate took the vans off their hands before driving away.

[Sold. 8 Bundles of Weed delivered. +$21,000 +$2,500 Delivery Bonus]

"Here." Isaribi said giving it to Jon. "The three of us already got our pay electronically. This share is for you."

"So am I in?" Jon asked.

"Well, you've earned your 13 patch and your Ace of Spades patch. You need one more to be fully in for the Blue Banekos." Isaribi said as she called for a cab.

"What about going for colored wings?" Yara suggested as Isaribi coughed in response.

"I would like to…but he and I haven't done it yet." Isaribi said sheepishly.

"You could just vouch for him. He's proven himself, plus the other members seem to like him enough." Tomoko said before joking, "You're the president with the final say. I doubt you'll get a protest."

Isaribi sighed.

"I don't want to bend the rules I set in." Isaribi said plainly before coming up with an idea. "Actually, there is a patch he can earn. A Malta Cross for bravery…and if you play your cards right, you'll have your own bike."

"Should have told me that the Raven Slaughterhouse was the front for the Triads. But why were the Koreans there?" Naruto asked as he was now driving the Benson.

"They were going to steal it…and as far as the Triad knows, they succeeded. Did you get it resprayed?" Tiana asked.

"I did." Naruto nodded.

"Excellent. Charlotte is waiting for you at Rob's Liquor in Murrieta Heights." Tiana remarked. "Hand the truck over to her and she'll give your next instruction."

Naruto clicked off his comm link before making the drive to the liquor store. He arrived to find her before getting off the truck.

"Ok, there's a Phantom trailer truck full of restaurant supplies that are supposed to be delivered to a surplus store. The Lost MC are holding it for ransom at a foreclosed farm out in the countryside. Baytree Canyon Road. Kill them all, take the truck, and bring it to the warehouse." Charlotte remarked. "And that'll be it for now."

Charlotte drove away as Naruto hailed a cab. Naruto 'fast traveled' over there to see a complete shit show. The Lost members were already being jumped by Isaribi, Nani, and Jon. BLAM! BLAM! Two Lost members went down with bullets through their backs thanks to Naruto's AP Pistols.

"Damn, you just made my job easier." Naruto said before swapping to his SMG. "Why are you even here?"

"Trying to get him blooded." Isaribi said. "Nani's just here to get back at some chumps who thought she was an easy mark."

While Nani did not have visible patches on her jacket, her indigo denim cut under jacket had her patches on them in display given she wore her jacket open. She had gotten a blue bandana tied around her right arm.

"Nani, behind you!" Jon called out as Nani smashed a bottle into the incoming Lost member.

That member dropped a baseball bat, something she was more than happy to take. Holding it, she felt something, an odd wave of nostalgia that…felt slightly alien to her before snapped out of her 'remembering' to crack a biker with a pop fly.

"Naruto, why are you even here?" Isaribi asked.

"I need to jack that truck. Think you can keep them distracted?" Naruto asked.

"With pleasure." Isaribi said, swapping to her grenades.

Naruto made a run for it, dodging and occasionally tank a shot or two before getting to the trailer truck. He got it and kicked out the Lost biker trying to start it up. Turning the keys, the truck roared to life as Naruto started driving it.

Amoeba by Descendants started blasted as the radio came on and Naruto smirked at the fitting song to come on. He called up Tiana to let her know he's on his way back and that the Lost are being handled. With Naruto in the distance, Isaribi picked off the last of them.

"Not bad, Jon." Isaribi said as Jon sighed in relief. "You earned that patch and you managed to help out your other boss. That warrants another patch. So congrats, you've in the Blue Banekos."

"I'll give you this." Nani said, twirling the bat around. "You proved yourself…not that I doubted you too much. But given you're with the boss…there's a risk of nepotism."

"I care about Jon, but I'm not going to give him a position he can't handle because he's seeing me." Isaribi remarked. "He's earned this at least…"

Jon looked down to see a small metallic Lost MC patch that was cracked and splintered, but still in one piece. He removed it, remembering a bit from what he watched from television, to take as a trophy.

"So I don't have to be a prospect for a year." Jon remarked.

"Actually, it's not all like that on television. If you've hung around the group, getting fully patched could take less than that. Helps if you prove your stones and/or be vouched for. I wanted to vouch for you, but I needed to prove your stones first." Isaribi said gently. "I also brought witnesses to make sure I could vouch without opposition or claims I was giving you special treatment. As for the money, you and Nani can split it…and Jon, take your pick of what bike you want."

Jon was not even too sure at least before looking around. He did not want a Hexer or an Innovation…too many people had him. Nice bikes and all but he wanted something that stood out, and he found it. A black Dinka Thrust. He got it off the ground before getting the key to start it up.

"Choppers weren't ever something I'd prefer…that's more Eric's thing." Jon said, revving it up. "I didn't think the Lost would have sports bikes."

"They usually don't. Probably a prospect's bike." Isaribi said.

Naruto arrived back at the warehouse to see both the Beaufoys there and a few guys there. The place was looking more put together. Tiana immediately had the men unload the truck before coming to talk to Naruto.

"Thank you for your hard work. It's coming together…I already sold the Phantom but we're keeping the Benson. It'll be good to pick up supplies on supply runs." Tiana said as the buyer got in the truck. "And there he goes."

As the truck left the warehouse, Charlotte tossed Tiana the money.

"Had to sell it on the cheap, all things considered." Tiana said before giving Naruto a portion of the cash. "But you should go get lunch. I'll call when I'm ready to continue."

(A/N: After a month and putting time in Maelstrom of Stardew, I'm back to getting to this. Although considering the way I post, it'll be a while before you people even see this chapter. However, there's a reason for Nani getting a baseball and Alex getting a 9F. Aside from the obvious references, it's because I'm actively designing wallpapers for TWG which will be shared on the Ao3 version of this chapter. Sorry FFN readers.)
