Chapter Three: The A's Are Saved
Speedy stood there, with both his Ginzu swords out, and Sundance, with his gun drawn out, ready to fight, then said, "Unless you want to see what kind of things we can do at maximum power, you better indeed call those guards, because after they are done, you two are next!"
Kaval, who did not seem phased by the threat, said, "Forget about it, you shortie. Guards, get them!"
The guards charged at the group, and the Pizza Cats, alongside Princess Vi, Francine, Lucille, and their counterparts from New York, began taking the guards down.
One guard went up to Francine, then made the mistake of then saying, "Hey, you blondie, you don't belong here. You don't suit being here fighting."
Enraged by the insult, Francine shouted, "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?! I HOPE YOUR INSURANCE IS REAL PAID UP… CAUSE YOU ARE DEAD!"
She then took out her frying pan, then swung it real hard at the guard who just insulted her, knocking him out on the spot. She then took care of five more with her fists.
Two more guards insulted Lucille and Lucinda, then regretted it immediately when they both were under missile and minigun fire, also sending another ten guards out the office door.
Princess Vi chased four guards around, whilst also swinging her Naginata, screaming at them, "ONCE I CATCH UP TO YOU IDIOTS, YOU WILL KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE INVOLVED IN A BRAWL, THEN I WILL SEND YOU ALL TO PRISONERS' ISLAND!"
Sundance was surrounded by seven guards, but, being the sharpshooter he was, he shot their guns easily, then knocked them out with a few kicks and punches to the face.
Good Bird then flew up, then unbeknownst to three unlucky guards, he dove at them, easily knocking them out.
A guard then tried dueling Cosmo with his gun, but the swordmaster, with his rapier, easily disarmed him, then proceeded to punch him in the face, knocking him out. Deedee was also involved with another three guards, but then disarmed them easily by breaking their guns with her whip, then gave them a few good kicks to get them down for the count.
Speedy, Polly, and Guido then took care of the last few, by Speedy's shurikens, Polly's heart explosives, and Guido hypnotizing another three. "Hey guys, I don't know if you have heard it yet, but there is only one ticket left to VIP concourse seats to that baseball game, and ya gotta fight for it!" As soon as he said that, the three of them began beating each other up, while Guido was laughing at their expense. He said, "Oh man… they are just as dumb as Ninja Crows can be!" After that was settled, he then set the last few ones on fire with his umbrella, making them run out of the office screaming in pain.
After all was settled, it was just down to the two stupid executives. The group confronted them both, and Speedy came forward and said, "Last chance, you two. You both better make the calls, sell the team, cancel the Las Vegas relocation plans, or you will see what the Pizza Cats can do!"
Being the idiot he was, Fisher responded with, "When would that be, shortie? Before or after that rage inducing wife of yours learns about mouthwash, or those two girls that look as stupid as they are learn what swinging a bat is, or that stupid excuse of a bratty bunny who could be able to blow a roof up with her being so angry all the time?
Polly then shot a stare of death at the two idiots, and Speedy, who hated being teased on how short he was, was fuming. He screamed, "YOU HAVE CROSSED THE LINE NOW, YOU TWO! I HATE BEING TEASED ABOUT MY HEIGHT, AND TO ADD ON TO THAT, YOU EVEN INSULTED POLLY! YOU AREN'T GETTING AWAY WITH THIS, YA HEAR ME?!"
Guido joined in, saying, "That goes with me too, for you insulting Lucille!" Sundance also came in, and said, "Yeah, same here for insulting Lucinda, too!"
Polly then unsheathed her claws, then said, "I hope you remembered to write your will, but I don't think you were smart enough to do so!" Guido then took out his katana, and the three heroes, alongside Speedy's New York counterpart, charged at the two stupid executives, finishing with them being hung by their pants on a rack on a nearby wall.
Speedy then stepped forward again, then said, "Let's do this again. Make those calls, cancel the relocation plans, sell the team, or you are really gonna get it now!" Sundance also joined in, saying, "That goes double with me, too! The baseball world is tired of you two insults to this game ruining the great old American pasttime!"
Fisher and Kaval, still being idiots, then made a real major mistake. The owner said, "Yeah… right, you stupid cat. From what I heard, you were never the nicest to these three." The president then said, "Let's see, you, oh, I don't know… turned against your group with that mouth of yours insulting the shortie's psycho wife's kid, assisted in kidnapping her too, also assisted in stealing Christmas gifts, and upset his friend just for fun. Face it, you are an absolute hypocrite on us. You don't even deserve to be friends with them again, after all you have done."
Everything came back at Sundance. All the times he teamed up with Cheese and insulted the Pizza Cats with that mouth of his he used to have, before he redeemed himself when Cheese kidnapped Polly's sister Sayaka prior to her becoming a Samurai. He ran out the office, with his hands on his face, sobbing out, "I never deserved this job… I never deserved Lucinda… I DON'T DESERVE TO BE A SAMURAI…!"
Speedy, who was now angry seeing a friend of his, who had redeemed himself before, remember all the dark memories of him being with Cheese, then said, "Well then, I guess he's gonna have to see how serious we want him to sell the team. You ready?"
Guido then said, "Ready as you are buddy!" Good Bird also responded, "You bet I am too, Speedy!" Polly then said, "Just give the word!"
At that moment, Speedy crossed his Ginzu swords, raised them up, and cried out, "GET READY FOR THE TRIPLE PLAY SLASH… HIYA!" Polly then took out her kodachi and flute, collecting a firey pink aura around her, then yelled out, "HEARTBREAKER!" Guido then jumped on his umbrella, which collected a blue energy of fire, then he yelled, "AZURE DRAGON FIRE!" Good Bird then aimed his sword at a shelf nearby, charged up his sword, then once fully charged up in a yellow energy, yelled out, "THUNDERBIRD!" The combined attacks from the four heroes caused quite the destruction to both executives' offices.
Speedy then said, "That is how serious we really are. Now make the calls, or you two are next!"
With no other options, the two were forced to give in. "A-alright… you win… just don't cause us any harm!"
The owner then picked up the phone, then called the Major League offices in New York. "Hello, Manfred? Yes, this is John Fisher, A's owner. I have decided to sell the Oakland Athletics, effective immediately. To who, you say? To billionaire Joe Lacob, that is who. Yeah… yeah, goodbye!"
Kaval then had to call up the Vegas Legislature, announcing the cancellation of the relocation plans, alongside the MLB offices.
Both executives said to the group, "There. You all happy now?" Francine stepped up, and said, "Yes, very much happy now." She then pulled a baseball bat she found, wound up like Ichiro Suzuki's pendulum swing, and swung real hard at both of them, knocking them both out right on the spot. Princess Vi then screamed, "GUARDS! TAKE THESE TWO IDIOTIC EXECUTIVES AWAY!" Kiryu stepped up, then said, "Yes, Your Majesty." He, alongside another two of the princess's royal guards, dragged them back to the jet.
Meanwhile, outside the offices, Lucinda was consoling Sundance, who was still crying over him remembering the dark memories of him having teamed up with Cheese, and the fact he constantly kept throwing insults at the Pizza Cats. He said, "Lucinda, those two really were right… I did use to do those things at the Pizza Cats… I know they forgave me when I redeemed myself… but I don't think I can forgive myself for this… I feel like I don't even deserve you…" He broke down once more, and at that moment, Lucinda pulled him closely. She said, "Sundance… that was all in the past now, I am sure they really did forgive you, and so did Deedee and Cosmo. You are better in every single way than those two idiotic executives, and best of all, you managed to redeem yourself to them, and to me too."
Lucinda then pulled Sundance into a hug, and he couldn't help but pull into one of his own. He said, "Lucinda… thanks for renewing my faith in both myself, and to continue my duty with my friends. Speaking of which, here they come, right now."
True to his word, the Samurai Pizza Cats, alongside their friends, and Princess Vi's guards dragging Fisher and Kaval out, came out the office building.
Sundance then approached Speedy, then said to him, "Speedy, I want to thank you for giving me a second chance to be part of my team again, even after all the things I did and said to you all."
Speedy then responded, "No problem, buddy."
Sundance then also said, "Hey Speedy, I have a bit of a surprise planned for you all, as a token of appreciation, but it might take a while to get ready. While I am planning this out, why don't you take these two executives back to Little Tokyo and send them where they belong?"
Speedy then replied, "That sounds about right. I can't wait to see what you have planned, buddy. Anyway, yeah, we really gotta sentence these two idiots to Prisoners' Island. We are just gonna drop you and your team at New York, then we return home."
Sundance then said, "I agree buddy."
After our heroes dropped the New York Pizza Cats back at Manhattan, it was now back to Little Tokyo to give both Fisher and Kaval what they deserve.
Little Tokyo Imperial Palace...
In the throne room, with both Fisher and Kaval in irons, and with the Pizza Cats and their friends attending, including the New York Pizza Cats on video, Princess Vi said, "John Fisher and Dave Kaval, I hereby sentence you both to life on Prisoners' Island for not only denying royal orders from me, but also nearly causing one of the great heroes of Manhattan, Sundance, to doubt himself." Fisher protested with, "You can't do this to both of us, you bratty bunny! This franchise will be ruined without us, and…" The princess immediately cut him off there. "SILENCE! GUARDS, SEND THESE TWO BUFFOONS OUT TO PRISONERS' ISLAND!" At that instant, the two were carried away to a raft in Tokyo Bay, to be sent to Prisoners' Island.
Speedy then gave her tapes of highlights of the A's championship teams back then, then she went to her personal room and began watching them, despite not much knowledge of baseball. "This was how a team was meant to be run!" she said to herself.
Now on Prisoners' Island, the two former executives were grumbling about their fate. They were shot out of their thoughts by another exile, none other than Seymour "Big" Cheese himself, who had been exiled here after his recent plan failed, which was to kidnap Polly and make her relieve her dark memories.
While he was watching a local baseball game in Little Tokyo, unable to take the idea of baseball anymore after what happened, Fisher took the TV, then threw it out the ocean.
Understandably, Cheese was frustrated. "WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?! I WAS TRYING TO WATCH SOME GAMES HERE! ARGHHHHHH!" Cheese was turning red on the face, and Jerry Atric, his assistant, said, "Oh no… Cheesy, please calm down…" At that instant, Cheese blew up, sending Jerry into the sand, and Fisher and Kaval into a tree.
The Pizza Cats, and their friends, have saved the Oakland Athletics from leaving California, and, now with a better owner, a new stadium was inevitable, and the Oakland faithful were as happy as it should be.
