*Prologue: Rayna's Diary/Evak*

This is my first time writing my story. Where do I start? I suppose I could start off how I become a legend. This is my story: When I was a small cub- I mean, child, me and my family went out to the jungle to camp out in. But that night, we were attacked by a tiger named Shere Khan. He hates humans. He killed my parents and wanted to kill me next, but I ran away. Bagheera was the one who found me and took me to the wolf pack. After speaking for me, I stayed and become the adopted member.
But Shere Khan had been trying to hunt me down. He marked me when I was 7, and that was when I decided to learn how to take care of myself by crafting spears and created some tricks. Akela didn't like the idea of my tricks. It wasn't the wolf way, but they are useful when I gather water and food.
During the Water Truce, Shere Khan promised that he will catch me once more and finish me off after the Peace Rock is gone. Bagheera, Tailsy, and I went off to hide from Shere Khan so my wolf family will be safe. I had quite an adventure. Though I did run into trouble along the way. I met Kaa, the hypnotic snake who wanted me as a meal. Hathi and his elephants who always go out in dawn patrols. Baloo the bear who I helped to get honey for him from the cliffs and taught me the Bare Necessities. The Bandar-Log and their crazy ruler, King Louie, who believe the Red Flower would turn him into human. And then Shivani the Wise who rescued me from the monkeys with Bagheera and Baloo.
I faced Shere Khan and his hyena tribe with fire after I learned he killed my father wolf, Rama. I had to put a stop to him. He had broken the jungle laws and he is no ruler of the jungle. The animals in the jungle call me the Jungle Princess. A savior. I was treated different, but some animals still see me as a threat, a meal, or just weird as usual. After the defeat of Shere Khan, the jungle was at peace. Until one year later, his mate, Shalin had returned to the jungle and wanted revenge. I wasn't alone that time. I had some old and new friends who would help me. I learned that Shalin was captured by hunters years ago and that is why Shere Khan wanted vengeance. Elias told me that Shalin was forced to be a pet to his father before he died after being bitten by a cobra, Naja, and then Elias's uncle took over the throne. That story will be told another time. Elias is happy to be living a normal life in the village and then he met me.
After the crazy adventure of being chased by the dholes, I stopped Shalin. But I felt guilty. It is strange. Shalin was forgiving and...I don't know, I told her that Shere Khan went mad with power and blinded by hatred. And then I am married to Elias. I say goodbye to my friends in the jungle, knowing that I have to live in the village to begin my life anew. It was hard, but I know deep down it was a right decision. I'm not fit to be the queen of the jungle. I'm only a human after all. I could always visit the jungle whenever I wish along with Elias. And now...I am a mother. I have a son who I named Narvi. He is now a year old, and I could see he is starting to become like me. He has been walking around and got into things he shouldn't. When he grows up, he would love the jungle too.
I never felt proud and happier with my life right now. Things couldn't be any better.

Rayna finished writing her entry and closed the book. She smiled to herself. She is 20 years old now. Her hair is in the same length but had some braids and a flower on the back where the braids end. Her bangs are moved to the side, but her scars are still over her eye. The sounds of her son and husband are heard in the other room. Rayna got up and walked out of the room to see them on the floor. Elias laughed as he tried to catch Narvi from walking too fast. Narvi giggled and about to fall towards the ground, but Rayna caught him.

"Slow down, Narvi. You'll get hurt." Rayna told him. Of course, Narvi doesn't understand her. He's only a baby.

"He's gonna be a wild child like you were." Elias joked. Rayna rolled her eyes.

"Can you blame me for being raised by wolves?" She asked.

"No." Elias said as he picked up Narvi. "That reminds me. When was the last time you saw them? You haven't visited the jungle in a long time." Rayna frowned a bit. Elias noticed her expression. "Rayna?"

"I don't need to keep visiting constantly. We have a child to look after." Rayna spoke. "I know I haven't visited since... But if there's something very urgent, I go there."

"No one is stopping you-"

"Elias, it's my choice. I'll visit when I can, but...not now. Narvi needs his mother. I can't just keep disappearing. I can't bring him in the jungle again. Only when Baloo or anyone are with him while I'm there. I don't want any other predator to take Narvi like Shere Khan did. He took away my parents and my father wolf." Rayna caresses her son's cheek. "I do anything to protect my man-cub." She said. Elias chuckled at the nickname.

"Narvi the man-cub." He said.

"Hey, I was the girl-cub at the jungle." Rayna reminded him.

"I know. I'm sorry. But I was thinking that your family and friends might be worried about you." Elias said.

"Bagheera knows I'm in capable hands in this village and moved on. I don't know about Baloo, the cubs, Tailsy, or my wolf family. But I'm sure they know I am happy and have a life. When the time is right, I will visit them again. I just want to stay here with you and Narvi." Rayna held her son in her arms. Narvi smiled up at her and reached for her hair. "Ah, ah. No. My hair is not a toy. Has Meera taught you to grab my hair?" Rayna told him as she brought him into the room. She gave him a handmade stuffed bear Sari made for Narvi since he was born. Narvi held the toy close. Rayna smiled at him. She turned towards the window and see the view of the village and the jungle ahead. "Oh, I'm sorry I haven't visited." Rayna sighed a bit. "This is my life now. One day, I will return."

The boy shot his head up in alarm after he woke up. He is 11 years old with black hair and green eyes. His name is Evak. He is an orphan boy but not an ordinary one. He is born with the ability of seeing visions. Right now, he is on the train heading towards the jungles of India. He looked out the window to see the sunset and the trees.

"How is your nap?" A female voice spoke. Evak turned to see a woman bringing in a plate of a sandwich. "I thought you might be hungry." The woman said. Evak took the sandwich and devoured it. "You're welcome. You know, it could take a day or two to arrive deeper into the jungle. Remember the deal? Samesh will give you his share of the treasure. And you don't have to see us again."

"Samesh is only doing this for himself. You know he's a bad man." Evak spoke.

"He gave you his word. You know where the Golden Tusk is. You saw it in your vision, yes?" The woman asked. "You know what happens if you don't..."

"Why didn't you guys just do it? I robbed you once." Evak asked with a smirk. The woman didn't say anything. She left the boy and locked the door. Evak made a look and put on his white shirt. He had tan shorts on and his brown boots awaiting by his feet. "I gotta steal that map..." He said to himself. "I had a vision of a girl. What was her name? The wolf girl named...Rayna?"
The train continued to follow the tracks through the jungle. The white tiger, Hiro, watched it from the boulder. He has grown quite a bit along with his friends. He lived on his own and had been exploring around the jungle until now he discovered the train. He always wondered what it is.

"That mechanical snake. Where is it going? I must give a word to Chil." Hiro turned away to leave. He hurried through the jungle to find a place to roar to summon Chil. Up in the trees is Evie. She has grown into a beautiful 20 feet boa, but she isn't fully grown yet. Though her coils are thick enough to crush prey. Evie watched her friend run off in a hurry.

"Hiro? What'sss his hurry?" She wondered. "I hope ssssomething hasssn't happened."
