Ever since the birth of their beautiful daughter Mimi, Pikachu and Buneary were very busy taking care of their baby. It was tough and scary at times but they pulled through as they both took care of their special pink buneary baby.

Buneary fed her and Pikachu played with her holding her high in the air with his arms and turning her and making her laugh adorably. When little Mimi needed to rest she loved to sleep between the embrace of her parents but usually preferred her mom because of her softer fur.

Thanks to Dawn leaving Buneary with Ash, they could take care of their little daughter, calling her everyday to keep up with things.

But as cute as Mimi was, it also had its downsides when Mimi was crying. Usually she was just hungry, wanted attention or… something more messy… which was always annoying to do especially for Pikachu. But usually Buneary always managed to calm her down thanks to her soft voice and even softer fur making Mimi fall asleep and snuggle into her.

One night though things did not go so smoothly…

During one night it started as usual with Mimi crying, waking the entire house up.

»honey… Mimi is at it again…« Pikachu said still with sleep in his voice and eyes shut.

Buneary sighed and slid out of his embrace »I'm on it…« she said and walked over to Mimi.

Ever since Buneary moved in with Pikachu they used the guest room in Ash's house in Pallet town so they could have their own room. Pikachu needed some time to adjust to the new room since he usually slept with Ash in his room, but that didn't take long.

As for Mimi she was on the other side of the room as she was sleeping on her own sheets they managed to put together for her, while also having her close by if they needed to calm her down like now.

Buneary tried rocking her back and forth but to no avail.

She tried feeding her but Mimi shook her head still crying.

Singing didn't work either and Buneary started to feel desperate and frustrated.

»ugh why won't you stop?« she said to no one in particular.

Pikachu now also jumped out of bed checking in why the crying hasn't stopped yet. »what is it with her tonight?« Pikachu asked with slight concern in his voice.

Buneary turned to him with desperation in her eyes. »I don't know she just won't calm down I tried everything!« Buneary said close to tears herself.

Pikachu looked at his crying daughter and looked at her eyes full of tears. After a moment Pikachu got an idea. »Let me try something« he said to her and extended his arms to her motioning her to give Mimi to him into his arms.

Buneary nodded and did that. »Ok« she said feeling kinda helpless at the moment.

Pikachu held her and rocked her, and then suddenly a large burst of electricity shot out engulfing Mimi and Pikachu whole. »Eeep!« Buneary yelped and hopped out from the lightning, her face shocked (pun not intended) and worried as she saw her two loved ones under the lightning.

The lightning then slowly subsided and so did the crying, now replaced by cute giggling from Mimi. »Phew she has quite the punch« Pikachu grinned.

Buneary was visibly confused. »What did you do?« she asked him tilting her head at him, while he was still holding the pink bunny in his arms.

Pikachu just chuckled. »I have some experience with this matter« he said still grinning.

Buneary was still confused. »Pardon?« she asked.

Pikachu sighed. »Remember when Pachirisu was sick?« he asked her.

Then Buneary's eyes went wide. »Ooooh!« she said remembering now.

Pikachu chuckled. »Silly bunny, but yeah she just needed a little discharge, just like a pichu« he said as he let his daughter nuzzle him.

Buneary giggled and joined in on the nuzzle on his other cheek. »Well she is your daughter after all« she said.

As soon as Buneary said that Mimi laughed out loud and accidentally shot an ice beam into Pikachu's face, freezing his face in place and covering him in ice making Buneary jump.

Pikachu strained a smile under the ice and said, »As you can see she is clearly yours as well« he chuckled or at least tried to.

Meanwhile Mimi was happily snuggling into her father's chest, the young pokémon finally falling asleep again for the night.

Buneary took Mimi from his arms and placed her on her bed they made for her, before going back to Pikachu grabbing his paw and led his frozen face back towards their own bed.

But before they would be out for the night Buneary got on top of Pikachu. »Let me warm you up first…« she said to him, giving him that cheeky look he knew all too well.

This was gonna be a long night.
