AN: So I've been having trouble with numbers in this Gamer fic so I'm going to tweak the System so that I have an easier time writing it.
Also, you may also have noticed Heliel already has a D on his stats. So does that mean he can already match low-end Servants?
Fuck no!
Heleil's Rank is Mortal, and the rank of the average Heroic Spirit is Immortal, so D stat of Mortal Rank would be absolutely annihilated by the Immortal Rank of D.
So don't say he is already too powerful. In the greater scheme of things, he still has a very long way to go.
Even Snape is in a Higher Rank so despite having a lower rank shown in the first chapter, he could fight against Mages and Vampires if the situation calls for it.
That's all.
I will explain the Rankings more in the chapter.
Destiny versus Luck
The date would have terrified any ordinary person because Myrtle took me to the most haunted place in the castle while bragging to every ghost along the way that she wasn't lonely anymore.
Yay, I'm really popular around ghosts now.
Well, many ghosts were fond of me due to my heritage.
Believe it or not, most old ghosts are blood purists. Curse you, Salazar Slytherin.
And yes, there is racism in the Magical World. While there may not be racism between wizards outside of those who care about blood purity, other magical beings such as Vampires, Werewolves, Veela, Giants, Muggles, and Mages are fair game.
Anyway, after that horrifying date, classes continued, and not a single class was actually useless. I mean, I learned three new charms.
Granted, they were a colour-changing charm, a ground-softening charm, and a water-boiling charm. They may not be considered deadly charms or even jinxes, but they can certainly
prove useful later in life. However they could be used in combat if one was creative enough. For instance, the colour-changing charm could be employed to create distractions or confusion among opponents, potentially allowing for advantageous positioning or escape. The ground-softening charm could be used to destabilise an enemy's footing, making it harder for them to manoeuvre or launch attacks effectively. As for the water-boiling charm, it could be employed to create steam or scalding mist, temporarily obscuring vision or causing discomfort to adversaries.
Do you want to use the Rare Gacha Token?
Yes or No.
Well, that was sudden! I nearly had a heart attack. And wasn't suspicious at all.
And the answer is yes. I had to answer it either way because it won't leave my field of vision even if I closed my eyes.
Randomising Gacha Reward.
System Upgrade Orb received.
It can add different custom patches to your system. By adding these patches you may get different gameplay, rewards, and overall experience.
Okay. I sat on my bed as I held a glowing ball in my hand. It was obviously here to distract me from my thoughts, but why?
Even though it was a distraction, this was a very good distraction. Because unless I hid the orb somewhere, I had to upgrade now because it won't go inside my inventory.
With a big sigh, I threw a glowing orb at the floor from my bed as my room lit up like it was the middle of the day before fading away.

Well, that's terrifying at all. Wonder how expensive good ones are going to be, if this was a cheap update. Anyways, let us not have more reality-shattering revelations for this night and move on. Let's see what the difference is.
Skill Level was changed into Ranks.
Skill Ranks

Thus, they ascend to claim their rightful place on the Throne of Heroes, forever enshrined in the annals of eternal glory.

Supreme Beings who embody the World or Universe. Godlike, their might knows no equal in this realm.
Wow, there are buffs for ranks now? In the past, ranks were just symbolic, but it seems they actually have a purpose now.
This could be problematic for me if I'm still at a low level. For instance, Fleamont Potter should already have a Legendary Rank due to his worldwide fame in the magical community. The same goes for my mother, Dumbledore, and his locked-up lover.
So, even if Fleamont has an E ranked stat, his buff will help him surpass my D rank. Despite having superior stats, his Legendary Rank will give him a boost, even if he isn't the famous "boy who lived" himself, as his story is what is renowned.
Intelligence increased by 1
So I am on the right track. But how do I rank up? I somehow don't think levelling up is going to work since I don't know why I would get legendary by my stats.
I think some feats and requirements need to be fulfilled to rank up.
Intelligence increased by 1
Thank you game for the confirmation.
So let's try this, Status.

That looks much better without the numbers and all, but what the heck happened to my Magic stat?
It's at a C rank, which I'm quite satisfied with, but now I have to accumulate 50 points to upgrade to B? What happens when I reach a B rank? Will I need to gather 100 stat points then?
This is getting tougher by the minute! It feels like the game went from a free trial to a pay-to-play mode.
Ah, screw it. I'm too tired for this right now. I'll examine it more thoroughly tomorrow. I decided as I settled back into my plush bed.
With these thoughts, I closed my eyes. Hope nothing crazy happens for some time.
The Ultimate Luck negated the stipulations of a prophecy.
Oh, fuck you.

British Museum
Clock Tower — Mage Association
In a prestigious hidden campus within the Clock Tower, a woman with brown hair stalked the moonlit hallways.
Despite its entrance located in the public Museum in the heart of London, this entire campus remained hidden from the mundane world, thanks to its powerful wards.
This place served as the main gathering point for the Magi (a group of Mages or Magus) and various research institutions.
Unofficially, she held the position of Vice Director of the Clock Tower, as the whereabouts of Director Zelretch, the old vampire, remained a mystery.
Her name was Barthomeloi Lorelei, undeniably one of the most formidable Mages alive, despite her youth.
No wonder anyone she encountered on her stroll instinctively backed away, combining both fear and respect.
Being able to fight and injure the Leader of Wizard kind, the so-called "second coming of Merlin," during her late teenage years, was a monumental achievement the likes of which hadn't been seen in a century.
She believed she could defeat him now, or at least engage him on equal footing, as her Magecraft had grown more powerful with each passing year. It had been a decade since that fateful day.
She admitted that the Magi's decision to kidnap the so-called Boy Who Lived had been somewhat foolish, but the Old Man didn't have to wreak havoc upon the entire Clock Tower.
In her eyes, the Clock Tower held greater importance than Hogwarts since it was built upon the corpse of the Heavenly Dragon Albion, one of the most magically potent places on the planet.
That night, she truly feared Dumbledore. The only reason she survived was because the Magi had handed over the Potter children to Dumbledore.
And boy, was Dumbledore furious when he saw the Sealing Designation.
Back then, she was merely a child, despite hailing from one of the most prestigious Magi families.
But now, she had grown into a woman, and with each passing day, her Magecraft and knowledge expanded. She was prepared for a second encounter if the situation demanded it.
By the early 2000s, she was confident that she could bring her magecraft near True Magic if she kept progressing like she was now.
With a few years of more experience, she would undoubtedly become a monster among mages.
"El-Melloi," she called out as a blonde man emerged from the other side, freezing in surprise.
By his appearance and attire, he seemed noble, but his character was questionable at times.
"Lady Barthomeloi," the blonde magus bowed respectfully, "I was on my way to your office to escort you. A situation has arisen, Milady."
"Oh?" She locked her gaze with his, causing him to flinch. "It had better be significant. You know how I detest wasting my time with your petty squabbles." Her sneer dripped with contempt.
She had grown tired of these mages squabbling like children when their entire society faced imminent danger.
Have they already forgotten how Voldemort hunted them down? In public. Yes, that Dark Lady was a madwoman, and she clearly had no plans to stay hidden and had made several attempts to invade the sunlit world.
Her followers raped, and pillaged villages and towns, leaving not a soul behind as she performed rituals so sick and dark that they sickened most Magi.
Now that she was gone, Mages were becoming arrogant once again, fighting among their own for fame and money, of all things.
"Yes, Milady, it's another Prophecy, and not a small one at that. Lady Vablatsky has been in a trance for three hours now. We fear it's something significant."
She hummed. Cassy Vablatsky was a wizard Seer, one of the younger members of the Clock Tower. Her dual status as both a wizard and a Seer made her a valuable individual for the Association.
That's why she was protected against all threats, even those from fellow magi within this institution.
They no longer needed wizards for the Sealing Designation. They already had a few, and it wasn't difficult to find a Muggleborn.
"Let's go quickly," she said, hastening her steps. "Last time we found a Prophecy, those fools kidnapped the Potter children and invited Dumbledore's wrath upon us. I don't want to imagine what they might do this time."
After navigating several turns in the hallway, Lorelei burst open the door, causing the mages inside the room to jump out of their seats. She paid them no mind as she stalked towards the only person still seated—a young woman who stared blankly at an empty spot, her normal blue eyes rolled back into her sockets, leaving only eerie white eyes visible.
Lorelei reached out and gently wiped away a small trail of blood from the Seer's nose.
"This is new. She isn't strong enough to verbalise the vision from her Inner Eye," Lorelei deduced, and mages from various factions and families nodded in understanding.
"Should we transfer Prana (a mix of Od and Mana) to her? We were hesitant to touch her, fearing it might cause harm," the Head of House Edelfelt asked, providing an explanation of the situation.
"No need. My Prana would be pure enough to heal her without damaging her core, thanks to my Blueblood (noble blood among mages)," Lorelei ordered, and they all nodded in agreement.
She reached out and placed her hand on the young witch's head, emitting a soft blue light from her hand.
Everyone held their breath as a hiss escaped the Seer's lips, steam clouds exhaling from her lungs.
Then, her mouth began to move.
"In a realm where darkness has long prevailed, A child emerges from a fallen lineage hailed. Born of ancient blood, both fierce and cursed, Unleashing otherworldly power, a force unseen. Within his veins flows a legacy of dread,
A birthright granted, a destiny widespread.
Wielder of might beyond mortal grasp,
Shaping a world where Light and Shadow clasp.
An Heir to a legacy, shadowed and grim,
A choice awaits, a destiny held within.
For this child of power untold,
Capable of shaping a world of silver and gold.
Beware, oh Magical World so vast,
For the one who burns may be the last.
Seek balance amidst the fire's might,
Discover paths unseen, and choose what's right.
The fate of all lies in choices of keen.
In rejecting the demands of Fate's cruel scheme.
Hero or villain, by his own hand.
The world trembles, in hope and dread,
For the son of the serpent that emerges ahead,
Holds the key to weaving a new era's thread."
Everyone processed the words of the Seer as the Magi sucked in deep breaths, silently contemplating the cryptic prophecy. Their eyes glinted, reflecting a mixture of fear, awe, and above all, undeniable interest, as their minds deciphered the enigmatic message.
"That harlot!" Lorelei hissed, her eyes narrowing, causing everyone to tremble in their boots. Her Prana shot out through the roof, shaking everything as if earthquakes were occurring at her whim.
"That monster left her spawn behind! We will not have another mad snake, and if this is anything to go by, he is going to be more powerful than her," she calmly announced, though her tone suggested her mood was greatly soured.
"But why did it take so long for the Seer to see the future, Milady? If the Dark Lady gave birth a few days or weeks before her death, her child should already be at Hogwarts by now," Edward Edelfelt asked and deduced.
Lorelei nodded in acknowledgement.
"The prophecy is eleven years late," a booming voice interrupted, causing everyone to jump as an old-looking man in a black and white suit barged into the room as if he owned it.
"Director," Lorelei gritted her teeth. "And where have you been all this time instead of doing the paperwork you dumped on me?"
"Oh, you know, around," the old vampire spoke in his rich Morgan Freeman voice. "But staying on the subject at hand, that Prophecy should've appeared right alongside the 'boy who lived' nonsense."
"But it got delayed for decades, why?" the Head of House Wotan spoke, prompting the rest of the magi present in the room to begin brainstorming.
Yes, inside this room, only Elite Magus were present, each hailing from prestigious magi families and bloodlines. New generation Magi or backward eastern mages were not allowed to set foot inside.
"Otherworldly power!" Lorelei exclaimed in alarm, causing panic and chatter to erupt among the magi. Otherworldly power meant that it was not produced in their world; it somehow originated from an outside power. Like a certain someone who already possessed otherworldly power—a power connected to the Root of All Things.
"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Zelretch asked before coming to a realisation.
"Oh… you people think it's another True Magic, the birth of a New Magician." He chuckled.
"So it's not true magic, sir?" Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald decided to take a risk and question the mad-looking, chuckling (howling) Vampire.
"I don't know," the Magician answered, abruptly stopping his fit of laughter.
"You don't know?" Lorelei asked in disbelief. How was this possible? This old vampire was supposed to see everything that would happen, could happen, and already happened.
"I know, right?" Zelretch nodded like a whining child. "This Son of Voldemort possesses some kind of power that blocks all precognitive abilities, even mine. Unless I travel to the future or alternate timelines, I can't locate this kid."
"Wait, if he can't be affected by precognition, how in the nine hells did we just hear a prophecy about him?" the Lord of House Orth said, banging his table.
He immediately regretted it as Lorelei glared at him, the old man's anger instantly turning to fear.
"You do have a point," Lorelei admitted, giving the old man a warning gaze that left him as pale as the moon.
"Well, that's why it's one decade late. The world couldn't see his future, but that doesn't mean it can't see the future of those around him and simulate the future based on every ripple this boy causes," Zelretch explained in an understanding tone.
"So, can you bring this boy to the Clock Tower? If he follows in his mother's footsteps, it would be a disaster for all of us," Lorelei asked him, her pleading tone hidden beneath her words, amusing him greatly.
"Sorry, no can do. This boy could be a New Magician, for all we know. He is hidden from everyone like me and the fifth, so it's highly possible that he's a new budding Magician. I don't know about you mages, but I'm not a traitor to my kind. Sorry, but you're all on your own." Without giving anyone a chance to rebuke, he disappeared with a pop, leaving a group of terrified, greedy, and power-hungry mages behind.
"I'm going to kill that vampire," Lorelei swore vengeance as she took deep breaths to calm herself.
"Everyone!" she barked, causing everyone to jump. "Contact our allies in the Wizarding World. I want this boy, dead or alive. He's likely masquerading as the son of some pureblood. Search every known Death Eater family and other families with an eleven-year-old boy. He could be at Hogwarts, Durmstrang, Mahoutokoro, Beauxbatons,Uagadou or any other wizarding school, for all I care. Search everywhere and contact every single ally we have around the globe. This is our top priority. That's an order!"
Everyone gave an alert salute on instinct.
"Understood!!"
Meanwhile, in Hogwarts Castle, a certain seer named Sybill Trelawney also delivered the same prophecy. Unfortunately, no one was there to hear her as she lay in the Medical Wing of the castle, having "unluckily" been hit by a Bludger.
And unbeknownst to anyone, Sybill didn't remember her own prophecy. It was truly unfortunate that the wizards never noticed this critical prophecy.
Even at the Hall of Prophecy in the British Department of Mysteries, a new prophecy went unnoticed among hundreds of others.
Truly, luck was a mysterious thing—the archenemy of destiny, binding fates.
And Ultimate Luck was the king of Luck.

— A Week Later
"Hello, children. Once again, welcome to Muggle Studies," greeted Lily Potter, a beautiful redheaded woman with green eyes, wearing a warm smile on her youthful face.
I resisted the urge to hold up a cheer board with "milf-meter 11/10" written on it. But I doubted my friend Harry beside me would appreciate that. Despite pretending to hate her guts, he was a mama's boy through and through.
"I don't see why we have to take a class about those savages. They don't even have magic to defend themselves," Draco Malfoy opened his mouth, his natural asshole tone on full display, complete with a smug sniff at the end.
"Because those 'savages' destroyed a portion of the Wizarding World during the last World War," Daphne Greengrass replied in the same tone, mockingly.
"Oh, so she speaks?" I gasped in mock surprise. Thankfully, I kept my voice low, and only Harry chuckled softly. "I thought she was just a background character for the show."
"You're terrible, you know that?" he asked, his laughter hushed.
"Well, you're the big bad Slytherin, a real bad influence on a poor Puff like me," I replied in a fake, semi-sad tone.
"Those are just stories, fairy tales. There's no way Muggles were the ones who destroyed those cities in Japan," Draco stubbornly insisted.
"Maybe if you left your daddy's basement and ventured into the real world, you would know," I retorted loudly, causing the whole class to erupt into a giggling mess.
These children were eleven years old. It was too easy.
"Enough," Professor Lily said firmly, silencing the class without raising her voice.
"Even if Mister Malfoy is misinformed, there is no reason to mock fellow students. Five points from Hufflepuff," she stated, holding back a sigh as the entire Hufflepuff group shot me dirty looks.
"Muggles have existed alongside us from the very beginning. At one time, there were no Muggles, Wizards, or mages. We were all humans," she explained, looking at all the students with her green eyes.
"After separating from Muggles centuries ago, they have come a long way. Since they don't possess magic, they started seeking alternative forms of power."
"Did they succeed?" Theodore Nott asked with genuine interest.
"Yes," Professor Lily nodded rather grimly. "First, they discovered energy combustion and electricity. Things quickly escalated from there. Now they have the power of thunder at their fingertips, metal devices that control information and allow them to communicate. And not to mention, they have weaponized it too, warring among themselves."
"That's really hard to believe, professor. No offence," Tracy Davis said, shuddering at the professor's grim tone. Despite being half blood, she never left the magical world. So it sounded too unbelievable for her.
"That's what the rest of the Eastern Wizards said, ignoring the Second World War and hosting a Quidditch World Cup in Nagasaki, Japan. Of course, they didn't even get a chance to comprehend their folly. They were annihilated alongside the city by the greatest superweapon Muggles ever created. It happened suddenly, with no chance to disappear. They simply vanished, leaving only shadows behind," she said in one breath, ignoring or not really caring as some Hufflepuffs began to huddle up, no longer comfortable in class.
Even most of Slytherin seemed disturbed. My twin, on the other hand, was inexplicably excited. Draco clinging to her was quite amusing.
"Anyway, instead of just telling you, I will show you the Muggle world," she announced as the whole class went dark. The lights were switched off, and the windows and door closed.
"Don't panic," she called out as the blackboard in front of us glowed, before showing a view of the Earth from outer space.
"Holy shit, is that a fucking movie projector on our blackboard?"
It appeared to be a documentary, as the camera moved, showcasing satellites and space shuttles floating around Earth.
"This is our world, Earth, Terra, Gaia, whatever you call it. It is our home, and we wizards are not on top. This motion picture was developed by Muggles, with no magic involved. These machines you see floating around our world are Muggle creations. They use them to share information and connect the whole world into one network," she explained, pointing at the satellites.
"While we use birds to send messages, these Muggles can exchange virtual and audio messages in a matter of seconds," she continued.
The camera zoomed in, showing the Space Shuttle more clearly, with a few astronauts floating around in their space suits.
"These are the Space Stations. Muggles have already left the Earth to study. They have even stepped foot on the surface of the Moon."
The class watched in stunned silence as their reality shattered into a million pieces.
Especially the purebloods.
"But why haven't our parents told us about this... sorcery?" Zabini asked incredulously, as all the students nodded in agreement, their eyes glued to the projector and its film.
"No sorcery, all science. Only metal, data, and electricity are involved. Your parents wanted you to see the truth with your own eyes, to cast away any preconceived notions you have about Muggles. They are more dangerous beings than any mage or monster, not because they are powerful, but because they have adapted and evolved without any magic, making them dangerous for all of us. We are just one red button away from losing our planet, so pay attention."
And the class grew even grimmer. Were they really supposed to teach this to first years?
Everyone was sweating as the documentary film zoomed toward the Earth, showing the atmosphere and various cities.
Pureblood children gaped openly as they saw buildings covering the sky, vehicles running everywhere, billboards flashing advertisements. The film ended with a few clips of weaponry and war.
After the projector closed, the classroom brightened as the windows opened, enveloping the class in light.
"So, once again, those who came from the Muggle world know, but for the rest of you who grew up in the Wizarding World, I expect you to conduct your own research before judging our magic-less fellow human community," Lily said, her voice soft. Yet, nobody said anything for a moment as their minds processed what they had just witnessed.
We didn't even realise when the class ended, caught up in the tense situation.
"Did you know about the Nukes?" Harry asked, not bothering to lower his volume.
"Yes, after Japan, every powerful country has their own nukes. I doubt they will use them since it's just for powerplay," I replied, not particularly interested in explaining Muggle politics.
"But damn, teachers are taking class so seriously. I never expected your mom to be so grim until today," I said after Lily left the classroom.
"Still better than Snape's brooding in Potion Class," Harry replied, causing both of us to laugh, earning astonished reactions from the still shocked students.
"Don't you have better things to do than talk behind our teacher's back?" Delphini asked in a condescending tone, though I could sense that she was unhappy.
"Sorry, but I don't filter much when it comes to talking about a Death Eater roaming around children," I said loudly, causing some Slytherins to flinch, some to glare, and some to show interest in the brewing chaos.
"Accuse our teacher one more time, and the result won't be pretty," Theodore Nott said loudly, drawing his wand and pointing it at me.
Soon enough, Crabbe, Goyle, Draco, Corrow, and other children of Death Eaters joined Nott, drawing their wands.
Meanwhile, my twin, Zabini, Greengrass, and Davis remained seated, watching with interest.
My eyes locked with my twin's, and I sensed the unspoken question.
'What will you do now?'
I quickly grabbed Harry's wrist before he could draw his wand.
"Let me handle this, please," I whispered. He was conflicted but nodded in support.
I walked away from the table and stood in front of the aggressive group. Harry stood behind me, unable to see my next move.
My next move had such an effect that all of my attackers nearly face-planted.
"Are you seriously crying?!" Draco asked incredulously before bursting into laughter, quickly followed by everyone in the class.
Their laughter abruptly stopped as Professor McGonagall entered the room. It happened so suddenly that everyone froze in surprise and fear.
The Gryffindor Transfiguration Mistress looked around the room and spotted a crying, wandless Hufflepuff surrounded by a laughing group of Slytherins pointing their wands at him.
"Everyone, drop your wands now!" Professor McGonagall shouted, sounding like an angry, racist American police officer.
"It's not-"
"This is a misunderstanding-"
"Believe us, we-"
"Enough!" she interrupted as she drew her wand. "Now!" she ordered, and everyone dropped their wands as if they were on fire.
She stalked through the classroom like a lioness about to pounce on her prey, and everyone sweated profusely. "Are you okay, Mister Black?"I simply nodded, covering my face and growing a smirk.
"I expected better from you than your predecessors. Yet, it has only been a month, and I have to witness this?" Professor McGonagall asked, her stern gaze causing all the students' feet to fumble in their boots.
"A hundred points from Slytherin, and all of you will be coming to Professor Finch's office with me, now," she said in a chillingly cold tone.
Every Slytherin's face turned crestfallen as the group of idiots who had pointed their wands at me walked fearfully toward Professor McGonagall when she summoned their wands from the ground.
Delphini gathered her courage, trying to stand up and explain the whole situation truthfully.
But her shin collided with the wooden leg of the bench, stunning her for a moment.
Daphne Greengrass also attempted to do the same, but coincidentally inhaled some dust, causing a sudden and uncontrollable sneezing fit.
Her companion Tracy tried next, only to suffer a coughing fit for no apparent reason.
After observing all of this, Blaise Zabini wisely stayed put, not risking anything as he watched the situation passively, like the rest of the Hufflepuff students.
After a few moments, the girls recovered from their unfortunate predicaments. However, it was too late. Professor McGonagall was already leaving the room with the group of offenders, marching toward Professor Finch's office, a place that would undoubtedly be unpleasant for a few Slytherin students.
"How did you know Professor McGonagall was coming?" Harry's question echoed in the silence, stunning the classroom. All eyes turned to me for an answer.
My tear-stained face quickly transformed into an innocent smile as I spoke.
"That's the thing Harry, I didn't know. I just trusted my Luck."
—--666—--
AN: For those who don't know Danganronpa, The Ultimate Luck is just not a title or coincidental event.
Ultimate Luck is a passive talent that literally manipulates reality to suit the wielder's wishes.
Sure it can also be Bad Luck, but it merely looks like Bad Luck while somehow at least minorly benefiting its wielder in the background.
So even if someone tells McGonagall the truth, she would not believe them, or dismiss the whole situation because she thinks she saw the true event from her eyes.
It's not almighty, but Luck is a force of nature.
Anyway, see you in the next chapter.
Bye.
B/N: So…Changes have been made to the System since we discovered how much work it is to have specific numbers even for skills. I personally don't think magic is something that can ever be defined as numbers.
There still might be some flaws in the system that we might not have noticed so if you do find any please let us know in the reviews.
If you do enjoy the story please do Fav/Follow and leave a review.
Constructive Criticism is welcome.
See you guys in the next update.
