The Dream: Chapter 23
"Concentrate." Shallow breathing was all that was heard in the second story meditation room, it was a few hours past noon and Lilly had been meditating since she woke with Youko constantly telling her to 'concentrate.' "Concentrate flower." Her eyes snapped open, "That's enough Youko how can I fucking concentrate when all you keep doing is talking to me every freaking second. I'm not use to this so just back the fuck off." Silence, finally. Wait, Youko is never silent. Damn fox loves to hear his own voice. With that thought passing through her head, she turned around to see what he was doing; instead Lilly's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. "Hi…Hiei?" Without another thought, she jumped from her position on the hard floor and ran over towards the open window, bounding over the coffee table in her way and flung herself into his body. Her arms were wrapped tight around his neck and her face deep into the crock of his shoulder, while he only had one arm loosely wrapped around her torso. The force of her running did not cause Hiei to budge from his seated spot. "Hiei. I've missed you. Thank god you are alright." "Hn." She pulled from his embrace and looked into his crimson eyes, a small smile upon her face, and her right hand arching backwards. *Smack* She slapped him with such force, he flew from the windowsill and fell the two stories down to the ground; leaning over the edge of the window. "That's what you get for not telling me who you were, you fucking irritating ass." Her eyes shifted to Kurama sitting on the couch; she smirked as she told him she was done meditating and left the room.
"The hell was that?" "Lilly was happy to see you it seems." "Hn. Bitch flower." They exchanged looks. "Fox, what did you tell her while I was gone." And Kurama told Hiei everything that had happened over the past month while he was away in Demon World. "You told her WHAT?" "She needed to know, you said it yourself Hiei." "Hn. Now it might be different. Touya came back with me and he found out some information that is… disturbing." "I see, well Koenma will be here later on and we will see what he found out as well."
Walking down the long halls of the temple, Lilly for the life of her could not pin point Touya's energy. Damn Youko and over working me with his stupid meditation. "Ohh Rinku. Have you seen Tou?" "Yeah now that you mention it. Touya and Jin went up to the roof, I think they are still up there." Ending with his childish laugh, "Everything okay?" "Yeah of course, I just wanted to see him and see how he was after all that time in Demon World." "Ohh Lilly, we told you not to worry. Touya is a lot stronger than he looks and he looks okay to me." "Thanks Rinku, remember Koenma is coming over later. Don't want to miss the show off give his big speech." Rinku laughed once more, before continuing to the kitchen.
Lilly had made her way up to the roof and was slowly walking across the four story building (Yeah Genkai upgraded the temple, exciting), "Touya…Jin…" "Over here Lilly."
After finding them, she again raced into Touya's arms crying over how much she missed him. "I am fine. Stop worrying." "I know just…" At this point Jin couldn't stop his laughing and had flung himself onto the hugging friends, effectively rolling them from the roof. Touya looked at the ground fast approaching as if it was a fly fluttering in front of his face, but before they hit the ground a gust of wind held them a few inches from impact. "Jin?" "Oy not my wind!" His eyes turned to a giggling Lilly.
"I finally found my power Tou, you have to see."
