The Dream: Chapter 27

Hiei stormed down the halls of the temple and rounded the corner into the living room to find his sister straddling Kuwabara on the couch, while kissing him with all the passion her body could hold. He felt the dragon pulling at his arm and wanted nothing more than to burn the young human into oblivion. "Yukina." He watched as her body stiffened and she pulled from her boyfriend to look over her shoulder at her enraged brother, "Hi Hiei."

By the time Lilly and Kurama had made their way to the living room, no one was there. "Do you think Hiei incarnated them both?" "No," he sniffed the air once and looked towards the swinging door leading to the kitchen, "they moved to the kitchen." As soon as Lilly pushed through the door, all she heard was screaming and the shear level made her ears hurt; Kurama took a hold of her hand once more and pulled her to the side of the room and dragged her into a seated position on his lap.

"I am going to kill him, now move." "No Hiei please just listen." "No!" "Hey don't yell at my sweet Yukina like that." "I will yell at her if I want to! I am going to kill you."

Lilly and Kurama watched the fight from the comfort of each other's warm embrace, as they both tried not to laugh and have Hiei's rage turned onto them. Yukina was standing in front of the island in the middle of the large kitchen with Kuwabara crouched behind her, effectively hiding from Hiei's gaze when he wanted; Hiei was no more than two feet from Yukina with his sword drawn and the black flame exploding from his arm.

"Hiei just calm down." "No, that human defiled your body." "Hiei don't talk like that. I love him." "Hn. What do you know of love? You are an ice maiden." At his comment, everyone in the room quieted while tears formed in her eyes, "That is not fair, Hiei. I left the ice maidens, because they had nothing but ice in their hearts. I wanted to find love and I did. With Kazuma." "Yeah short stack, who are you to talk about love. Especially to your sister, she is more loving and kind than you could ever be, little hell demon." Once noticing the tears in Yukina's eyes, Kuwabara found his inner strength to stand up to Hiei. He did not care what Hiei thought or how mad he was, no one talked to his girlfriend like that, his code of honor wouldn't allow it.

"Kuwabara you are an idiot, you think you can take me on?" Kuwabara's spirit sword appeared in his hand as he stepped out from behind Yukina, "I like my chances." "Oaf." "Runt." "Idiot." "Annoyance." "Human." "Demon." "Okay stop." Yukina shouted above the boys, it hurt her to see the two men she loved more than anything else fighting like this and resorting to racism was where she drew the line. "Hiei I love Kazuma and yes I moved in with him while you were away, but we had our reasons."

Lilly opened her mental connection with Kurama, "Oh my, she is going to tell him. Do you think we should do something? He might just send this whole place to hell." "Just watch, Hiei might have a temper. But he would never hurt his sister and with you in the room, I doubt he will blow the temple up."

"I'm pregnant with his child." The silence was so still, they could hear the birds chirping from rooms away; Hiei's eyes were drilling right through his sister's as to find the truth. He opened his Jagan eye and looked at her belly; he put his sword away and looked back up at Kuwabara. "I will kill you one day, but not today." "What?" "She is pregnant with twins and I will not take their father way from them before they are born. Yukina I am happy for you, but I will be the one to bring death to the Oaf." "Hey, short stack I'm right here."

"What's with all the short jokes, Hiei is just as tall as Kuwabara now?" "It's an easy way for Kuwabara to get under his skin. Though they might look like enemies, I know they both care about each other deeply on a friendship level."

"Thank you Hiei." She stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his waist as he put one hand on her back and looked down at the top of her head, Twins.

After Yukina pulled out of the hug and the temperature of the room cooled, more people started to pile into the kitchen to help her make breakfast and Kuwabara took this time to corner Hiei. He walked up to him and slung an arm around Hiei's shoulder, while leaning in as to hide his voice from the others in the room. "So Hiei tell me, what's going on with Lilly and Kurama." His eyes drifted towards the couple still sharing a chair at the side of the room, they were whispering to one another and laughing. "I do not know what you are talking about." "Ohh come on man, I know you share a room with Kurama. You have to know something." "Why do you care?" "Lilly is like a baby sister to me, I just want to make sure she knows what she is getting into with Kurama. You know Youko and all." He narrowed his eyes at the slightly taller man, "Yes she knows. Youko has been trainer her for a few days now." "What?" "You were there in the meeting. She wanted Youko to train her." "Well yeah, I just never thought Kurama would allow it. The guy rubs me the wrong way you know?" His sight fell back onto Kurama and he saw his eyes flash silver, and he knew Kurama was allowing Youko more power than he ever should. "Yes."

After detaching himself from the his orange haired friend he walked over to the couple flirting in the corner and grabbed Lilly's arm pulling her away with him. "Hiei? What's going on?" He was silent as he dragged her out of the temple and around the corner, the cool wind bit at her skin and she tried to not shake. Hiei pushed her back to the wall and in one swift move his lips were upon hers, he kissed her with all the rage that was still built up inside of him; Lilly wrapped her legs around his waist once again as she deepened the kiss, allowing his tongue to explore her mouth. She moaned as his lips worked their way to her neck. Behind the couple another stood, his arms crossed with a look of amusement upon his face, "What do you want fox?" Hiei spoke between bites at the young woman's neck. He smiled at the pair before locking eyes with Lilly, "To simply watch," she giggled at him, "That's weird you know that right?" He shrugged at her as Hiei's hands traveled across her body, sliding under her shirt to her breasts. Again she moaned and Hiei felt his rage being overcome by his lust for the young under his strong hold, "Would you like to take this inside?" Hiei glared at his younger friend, but nodded as he flitted back to their shared room; when Lilly opened her eyes once more she was on Kurama's bed with Hiei on top of her.

"Now what?" "You." "Hiei that makes no sense, I'm… I'm not sure I am ready for this yet." "Hn." He pulled back and looked down at her, "Then what are you ready for?" She eyes took in his strong structured face, the way his muscles pulled at his shirt, the way his hands were shaking at the need to touch her once again; she looked to Kurama sitting at the edge of the bed, his softer face, his playful eyes, the way his body sat perfectly still as to not interrupt. "A shower?"

The two men grinned at her as a blush danced across her cheeks, Am I really going to do this? Oh God help me please.
