Author's note:
Here is the next chapter of Days Of Shadows Past.
Set in 1521-1522.
I lost the desire to write for the past four or five years. I had part of this chapter written shortly after I upload the last chapter so long ago and had some problem with my mental health issues that left me bored writing from long ago.
I do still read stories here and on other websites where people post their fan-made stories.
I have also gotten into other fandoms and playing videos games in the past few years.
I still have a plan for this story and I'm still reading books about this time period about the Tudors and the others family from this era.
I hope you enjoy my new chapter.
More crossover with Truth in Lies & Shattered Time.
Dance of A Queen
Mary Tudor walked towards a picture that was on the wall waiting for it to start to move.
"Princess" Mary T whispered the secret password has the portrait opened to allow her enter to the hidden room that she was living in right now.
"Welcome back Mary." a voice whispered back.
"Anne, Mary. How have you been?" Mary Tudor asked with a laugh.
"Good." Mary B answered with a smile.
"I'm having a good time reading this book about magic." Anne said very softly.
"I'm glad my dear friends" Mary T said with a laugh.
"I'm glad that you are safe." Mary B said softly.
"I'm so glad that my dear friends and ladies were able to come here with me." Mary T said with a huge smile on her face.
Anne was so glad that she was safe here, her beloved sister was here and they had made some new friends here.
"But you know in the end, we still need to leave here." Mary T said with a sigh.
"I know. But let's learn has much has we are able to before we need to leave here to be safe again in the muggle world where magic isn't real." Anne said quietly.
For the next seven years, Anne learn has much about Magic has she could and mourn when first Mary Tudor left to reenter the muggle world first then it was Mary Boleyn turn it's was finally her own turn.
For Mary Boleyn, she was safe from the court of England.
For Mary Tudor, it was the place to put her plans into place and to bonds with her dear sisters.
But they all would forget what had happen between them.
For Anne, going from England to the Netherlands then France was different than begin sent away to a magical school when she had found out she, her sister Mary and the Princess Mary were all Witches.
With what would happen in here later life, she had blocked all happy memories of her life has a witch to be a normal girl who feel in love with the King Of England.
Who would kill her but her daughter would be the greatest monarch England would ever know.
Her blood would be well spent to protect her dear child.
This is how her dreams would always end for her.
Elizabeth I Of England.
The last Tudor ruler of England.
Gloriana.
Good Queen Bess.
The Virgin Queen.
Her beloved daughter.
Her beloved heart.
The one good thing in her life from her marriage.
Her legacy.
Anne Boleyn dance for her King, all the while a look of fear appear on her elder sister's face.
"Please be safe, Anne." Mary thought in fear.
"You dance well, Lady Boleyn." Henry Tudor said softly.
"Thank you, Your Majesty." Anne said very softly from her curtsy.
"See you and your sister again soon, Lady Boleyn." Henry said before leaving Anne alone.
Anne walked close to her sister before collapsing on the ground in fear.
"Are you okay, little sister?" Mary asked softly.
"I'm fine but I can't believe I actually had to dance with the King of England." Anne said very softly.
"It's all right Anne, has long has we are at court we must pretend to enjoy being around the king and that's all we can do to be same." Mary said with a sigh before she hugged her sister.
"It's okay Anne. I'm here now." Mary said softly has she rubbed her sister's back.
Anne just clasping tightly to her sister without a word.
Both were hiding in the shadows so most people watch where the King went after his dance with Anne Boleyn.
Anne stared blankly ahead, no sounds coming out of her at all.
Mary led her sister to their seats well Anne still hadn't said a word.
"Do you want to retire for the night?" Mary asked softly.
Anne just nodded her head.
With a sigh, Mary stood up with her sister still clinging to her tightly.
Both walked out of the room quietly without a sound and retire to the room both shared has ladies-in-waiting to the Queen right now.
Both hope for good dreams tonight and no more drama for the next week.
That was all they could hope for.
George watch his sisters talk together after Anne had been forced to dance with the King.
With a sigh, George brought the cup of wine to his mouth has he took a sip before he sat the cup down in shock.
Was that...
He couldn't believe his eyes.
What was Princess Mary Tudor, Dowager Queen Of France and Duchess of Suffolk doing here?
He had thought she was still in the country taking care of her children away from the court.
Before he realize what was happening Mary was walking towards him with a smirk.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't George Boleyn. What are you doing here right now?" Mary said with a laugh.
"I..um..I..um..." was all George could say in shocked.
"Oh? Cat got you tongue, Boleyn? To shy to talk to the King's little sister." Mary said flirtatiously to him.
"Your brother asked for me to be here. My older sisters are here and Anne was just dancing with the King." George shot back at Mary.
"Oh? Little Anne Boleyn was dancing with my brother. I wished I had seen that. Oh, well. We win some, we lose some." Mary said with a laugh.
"I feel like you are just messing with me here. If you may excuse me, Princess Mary but I must take my left of you now." George said coldly before leaving Mary alone.
"Get back here, Boleyn. I'm not done talking to you!" Mary said well raising her voice.
Serval people sitting close to George turn to watch the argument before Dowager Queen of France and Duchess of Suffolk, Mary Brandon and George Boleyn that was going on.
Whispering and pointing at what was happening in front of them George Boleyn felt his face go red at what was going on around them.
With a shake of his head, George bow lowly to Mary before he left the dining room where the court was eating, drinking and dancing for the King.
Mary shook with rage.
She couldn't believe that he had just left her there has they were still having a very important conversion here.
How dare George Boleyn just left her alone just like that.
She was a Princess of England and a former Queen Of France.
He had no right to leave her like that.
She hadn't dismiss him and even through he had asked to leave he didn't have her permission to leave her sight.
She couldn't believe he uptight he had gotten well she was talking to him.
He sure was cute through.
She sure would have fun flirting and messing with him.
She would have fun with George Boleyn.
She couldn't wait for the fun to start.
She was doing all this to keep Anne Boleyn safe and her niece being able to know her real mother when she was older.
With a sigh and a smile she went back to her sit near her husband with a smirk coming over her face when Charles Brandon came nearer her.
"Hello husband. What's the matter? Did something happen?" Mary asked sweetly.
"I just passed George Boleyn and he looked very upset. Did something happen well I was gone?" Charles asked with a frown on his face.
"He and I had a different of options." Mary said softly.
"Oh. If that's all that happen, than I'm glad to see you again, sweetheart." Charles said softly to his wife.
Mary just smile back at him.
She was happy to see him but she had been bored at their home in the country even through their children were there.
She couldn't wait to see what would happen at court.
What plans she could put into place and how Catherine was doing has "Queen".
Oh she couldn't wait to be back at court.
With a sigh she turn back to her meal before she started to watch the dancing and who her brother would partner with.
Finding Anne Boleyn a plan started to form in her mind has to get the two together and destroy Catherine life and marriage.
With a laugh, she move to the music in her seat with a huge smile on her face.
With a soft kiss on the cheek, she left her husband to return to their rooms to start to put one of plans into action now.
Charles Brandon was more confused by his wife then he wanted to admit, with her actions not making any sense nowadays.
She continues to speak in riddles, being secretly with the two wards, and lying to their King.
She no longer went to bed with him, staying in her own rooms with the children or by herself.
Lady Luna and Lord Arthur were beautiful children but they weren't his.
He didn't want to raise another man children even through his King and close friend, Henry was the father of them.
He wonder who the mother was?
He had his own illegitimate children but he didn't expect Mary to raised them.
He loved his wife but he now thinks she has gone crazy.
His wife was putting them and their children in danger with her dangerous plans.
He would talk with her about this later but for now.
He would enjoy the dinner for tonight.
He would have some fun tonight and forget his wife.
George Boleyn was graceful he had got away from the Dowager Queen of France without people noticing what had happen between them.
He didn't like the way she had acted towards him.
He was glad he was able to leave without running into anyone who would kill him right now.
George Boleyn return to his room where a young girl was happy to see him.
"Uncle George." a young girl of five said to him.
"How are you, Mary?" George said softly.
"I'm fine, Uncle George." Mary said happily.
"I'm glad to hear." George said to Mary.
George then pour himself a glass of wine taking a sip before Mary asked him another question.
"When are you getting married, Uncle George." Mary asked sweetly.
George choked on the wine he was drinking.
He cough for a few seconds before he was able to get out, "What? Why?"
"I want another Aunt, Uncle George. And babies come with marriage." Mary said innocently.
George just stare at her.
"I like babies. I want a cousin or a sibling. Either is fine. Right, Papa?" Mary said sweetly.
"Uncle George." George shot back.
"You said in public I can call you Uncle George but in private I could call you either Uncle George or Papa. Your my Papa." Mary said before stamping her feet in angry.
"We have been over this Mary, I'm to young to be your father but I'm old enough to be your Uncle in people eyes at court." George said with a sigh well trying to explain again to Mary how their relationship looked to other people.
"But your my Papa." was all Mary could say again.
"I'm sorry Mary." George said with a sigh.
Mary pouted at George before a knock on the door was heard.
George got up with a sigh and opening the door.
At the door was the Duchess of Suffolk, Mary Brandon.
"Hello, George and Lady Mary." Mary Brandon said before walking into the room like she owned it.
"You- Your Highness, what's bring you to my room?" George asked nervously.
"To see my darling niece." Mary said softly.
"What do you mean?" George said playing dumb.
Mary just glare at him.
George just stared back with a nervous look on his face.
"Do you like your Uncle George?" Mary asked with a smile on her face.
"Papa." Mary said happily.
"Papa?" Mary Brandon asked confuse.
"Uncle George is my Papa." Mary said happily to the strange lady.
"No sweetheart. He is your Uncle." Mary Brandon said to her niece.
"No he is my Papa." Mary said with tears in her eyes.
"What ever you say, my dear." Mary Brandon said with a smile.
"He is my papa." Mary said angrily.
"Oh. Your so cute when your angry, my dear niece." Mary Brandon said sweetly.
"Who are you?" Mary asked the strange lady.
"I'm your Aunt Mary Tudor." Mary Brandon said happily.
"Your not my Aunt Mary. Who are you really?" Mary said angrily with this strange lady.
"This is the Princess Mary Tudor of England, younger sister to the King Henry VIII of England." George said to Mary before she became even more upset by the royal Princess and her Aunt.
"I'm sleepy Papa." Mary said well tugging on his shirt.
"Time for bed then, Mary." George said before bending down to pick up his niece.
George left the room for a few minutes to put Mary to bed.
He came back after she had changed and making sure she was laying down did he walk back into the room to speak with Princess Mary Brandon.
"What do you want, Your Highness?" George asked with a snarl once he was back with Mary.
"To see my niece has I said early." Mary Brandon said softly.
"She has been fine for the last five years. I don't know why you have come to check up on her since you left her hear with me." George growl up.
"She is my niece. You should be honor that I allow you and your family to keep her safe and sound for now."
"I have raised her for the past five years without your help. My mother has helps in the past five years. You have done nothing but leave her in my care when I was twelve. I didn't ask to be a father to her or her adopted Uncle but here I am now." George growl out to Mary.
"Yes. I understand your angry but you have protected her. She is the daughter of my brother the King and his wife the Queen." Mary said very softly.
"What of the false Princess Mary then? Who our her real parents?" George said coldly.
"That is a secret." Mary said with a giggle.
"Then leave if you have nothing else to say to me." George growl out in angry.
"I wish to get to know her." Mary said sweetly to George.
"She doesn't want to know you. She knows me because I have raised her. You are a stranger and a liar to her. Your not her Aunt Mary. Your some stranger claiming to be." George pointed out to her.
"She loves you. So cute. How adorable. Has if you ever had a choice. One way or another, I will see my niece. I'll let you in on a little secret." Mary said with a smile.
"What do you mean?" George asked quietly.
Mary mumbled a spell under her breath before speaking again to George.
"My wards, Luna Brandon and Arthur Brandon are your niece and nephew." Mary said with a giggle.
"How?" George asked in shocked.
"Through your darling sister Anne. They are my niece and nephew too has my brother Henry is their father. The Princess Mary is also your biological niece through Anne and Henry. They are triplet. All born on the same day. Mary was first, then Luna and then Arthur. All born on February 18, 1516. So much fun that was." Mary said with a sigh, thinking about the birth.
"I understand. Thanks for sharing that information with me, Your Highness." George said well staring at Mary like she was mad.
"Oh, your so adorable. So sweet. You take care of Mary. I'll see you later, George Boleyn." Mary Brandon said with a laugh before walking out of the room without a glance back at George.
George just stared blankly at the spot Mary Brandon had just been standing in.
WHAT THE BLOODY HELL HAD JUST HAPPEN?
With a shake of his head, George decide he would retire for the night.
He would think about all he had learn the next day.
With a sigh, George retired for the evening.
All he could do was hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
That was all he could do to get some sleep.
With a heavy heart, he would sleep poorly for the evening.
Catherine watch has her husband dance with her ladies-in-waiting, (once with one of the Boleyn girls), before moving onto the next women who wanted to dance with the King Of England.
She was use to this.
Her husband with his whores well his wife and Queen watch has he drew farer away from her side.
She loved him but it hurt to know he would bed other women when she still hadn't giving him a son.
An heir for England.
They had four beautiful daughters.
It wasn't her fault that God had called all their sons to heaven leaving only daughters to reign after him.
She had done her duty for England.
They had an heir.
Her beloved Mary.
Her oldest living child and daughter.
She cared for her other daughters but Mary was special.
She would make sure she became a great Queen like her beloved mother, Isabel of Castile.
She would do everything in her power.
Even if she had to go against her husband.
Her daughter would be Queen!
She would be great.
Just like her mother.
Mary was her most beloved child.
Her other daughters would be back-ups if God forgives her if something ever happen to Mary.
No one would take her place.
She was Henry's wife and Queen.
She would die Henry's wife and Queen.
No matter what happen.
The King no longer bed his wife.
He is well aware that after the birth of their youngest daughter and child she has become barren.
The birth did damage to his wife and she was unable to conceive again.
She would die if she conceive again.
The doctors had warn him not to bed her anymore or she would die if she conceive again.
Giving that she was now thirty-six, there was a very slim chance she would conceive again.
There would be no more chance for a son.
He would get his divorce or annulment.
He needed a son and heir.
He was already thirty years old.
He had been trying since he was eighteen to have a son.
They had been married for twelve years now.
All he got was dead son and weakly girls.
Most of his sons dying shortly after birth or only living for two months.
His daughters being born weakly.
Mary was healthy sometimes but she was only a girl of five.
She had been born on February 18, 1516.
She had lived but her twin had not.
Some had said it was a boy and other had said it had been a girl.
Whatever it gender it had been born dead.
Never took it's first breath and it's never would.
His twin daughters had been born early on November 10, 1518.
More sickly children.
Both had survive but they were only three.
Jessica and Elisabeth.
His youngest daughter had been born on April 22, 1520.
Isabella.
Her birth had almost killed her mother.
She was to be his last child with Catherine.
She had barely turn one.
He had a bastard son that had just turn two but who was to say he wouldn't die before adulthood.
He was to say that any of his daughters would survive to adulthood.
Who would be his heir then?
His nephews through Margaret, Dowager Queen of Scotland and Countess of Angus, James V Of Scotland, a child of eight or his younger brother Alexander, Duke of Ross, a child of almost seven years old.
His nephew through Mary, Dowager Queen of Frances and Duchess of Suffolk, Henry Brandon, a child of five.
He wouldn't let another family take the throne from him.
He wouldn't let another cousin war break out if he could help.
One way or another he was going to have an heir.
Even if he had to destroy his own marriage.
He need a son and heir.
He would do anything to protect England.
Even if he had to become the villain.
England needed a son, a Prince of Wales, an heir to become King long after he had pass away.
Many years from now.
No matter how brilliant his daughters would turn out to be or would be, he still needed a son.
He would get his divorce.
Even if he had to break Catherine's heart.
Mary Tudor at the age of five one day told her aunt she wanted to dye her hair black like Lady Anne who she had saw.
She liked the way she had acted in the pageant her papa had been in for her cousin the Emperor.
Her aunt just smiled before explaining that Mary looked pretty the way she was.
Mary had pouted at what her aunt had said.
She wanted to look like Lady Anne.
She didn't want to look like her mama.
Mary Brandon just laugh at the way her niece was acting.
"I don't want to be a Princess, Aunt Mary." Mary Tudor said with a pout on her face.
"Your so cute, Mary." Mary Brandon said with a laugh.
"It's not funny. I don't want to be a Princess and marry a Prince. I want to be a lady. I want to look like Lady Anne." Mary said well stomping her foot on the ground.
"Now Princess, we can't always get what we want." Mary Brandon said well standing eye to eye with her niece.
"I want my mama" Mary cried out then.
"Catherine is busy today." Mary Brandon said boredly.
"No. Not her. Mama." Mary said with a cry.
"I don't know who you want, Princess?" Mary Brandon said quietly to her niece.
"Mama. Mama." Mary said with a scream.
"Why are you acting like this?" Mary Brandon quietly said to herself.
"Mama" Mary said before taking off.
"Wait." Mary Brandon before chasing her.
Mary run towards Anne Boleyn, trying to escape her Aunt.
Mary Boleyn caught Mary before she tripped over her dress.
"Mama." Mary said happily towards Anne.
"What?" Anne said in shocked.
"I'm so sorry. My niece decide she had to go for a run." Mary Brandon said with a smile on her face.
"That's alright." Mary B said softly.
"Thanks for catching her, Lady Carey." Mary Brandon said softly to Mary Boleyn.
"Your welcome, Your Highness." Mary B said before making a short curtsey to her.
Anne went into a curtsey to both Mary Tudor and Mary Brandon.
"Mama." Mary said well reaching for Anne.
"What a beautiful Princess." Anne said softly well petting Mary Tudor's hair.
"Thank you Mama." Mary said with a smile.
"My niece and I need to go back to the nursey now, Lady Mary and Lady Anne." Mary Brandon said very softly.
"Of course, Your Highness." Mary B said before releasing Princess Mary from her arms.
Mary just latch onto Anne when Mary Boleyn let her go.
"Mama." Mary said very happily holding on to Anne.
"Would you like us to come with you, Your Highness?" Mary B asked Mary Brandon.
"Yes, please Lady Mary and Lady Anne." Mary Brandon said quietly.
Anne bended down to pick up the Princess, who was eager for a hug from Anne.
She didn't complain at being carried like a baby and with a stranger.
With very little sound, the group of four walked towards the nursey of the Princess.
"So, how old are you, Princess Mary?" Anne asked awkwardly.
"I'm five." Mary said cheerfully to Anne.
"That's good to know." Mary Boleyn said happily.
"And I have cousins to play with." Mary said happily.
"What are their names?" Anne asked.
"Meg, Fran, Nell, Harry, Moon and Artie." Mary said happily.
"Who?" Mary Boleyn asked Mary Brandon.
"My niece Margaret Douglas, My daughters Frances Brandon and Eleanor Brandon, My son Henry Brandon and my wards Luna and Arthur Brandon-Tudor." Mary Brandon said with a smile on her face.
"Well, that's nice to know that's the Princess has children she can play with." Mary B said quietly.
"Yes it is great for Mary to have companions besides her sisters." Mary Brandon said softly.
Anne walked ahead with Mary Tudor who had started to doze off in her arms.
"I'm sleepy Mama." Mary whispered in Anne's arms.
"We're almost to the nursery." Anne mumbled softly to Mary.
Mary nodded her head against Anne's chest.
Ten minutes later, they were at the doors to the nursey.
Mary Brandon threw open the doors with a glare at her niece and her biological mother.
All three walked in.
Luna was waiting in the nursery for her Aunt, mother figure and cousin to come back from their walk in the gardens of Richmond.
Her twin brother was asleep.
She was the only one still awake.
Everyone else was down for a nap.
She was still waiting for Mary Brandon.
She couldn't sleep without saying see you later to Mary Brandon.
The sound of a door opening made her race to the door to see her Aunt.
"Aunt Mary." Luna said happily.
Mary Brandon stop with a shocked.
"Hello dear Luna." Mary Brandon said softly.

"Luna." Luna said quickly to the strange lady here.
"What's your last name, sweetheart?" Mary Carey asked quietly.
"Brandon-Tudor." was all Luna said.
"That's a lovely last name." Mary Carey said softly to the young girl.
"What's your name? How old are you? I'm five years old." Luna said after judging Mary Carey to be a friendly person she could talk to.
"Well, has your aunt said, I'm Lady Mary Carey nee Boleyn. I'm twenty and two years old. My younger sister is the other women your aunt pointed out to you earlier and the one holding the Princess Mary." Mary Carey said softly.
Luna turn around to face Anne.
"What's your name? How old are you?" Luna asked Anne, firing off the same questions she had asked Mary Carey.
"I'm Lady Anne Boleyn. I'm twenty years old." Anne said with a laugh at Luna questions.
"Are you Mary's mama?" Luna asked innocently to Anne.
"Luna, darling, don't be silly. Queen Catherine of Aragon is her mother." Mary Brandon said with a forced laugh.

Anne just stared in shocked at the five year old girl well both Marys' laugh at what was happening.
"She's my mama!" Princess Mary Tudor declare with Angry in voice at her adopted cousin (and full sister) Luna's question.
"But Aunt Mary just said that she wasn't. Did Mama Mary lie?" Luna asked before she started to sob out loud.
"It's a game of pretend. Like when the king's has his pageants that he dance in." Mary Carey said quickly to the now crying child.
"Do you really mean that, Aunt Marie?" Luna asked softly to her new declare Aunt Mary Carey.
Mary Carey just nodded her head, too stun by the conservation going on with the young girl.

"Of course Luna. Just give me a minute with your Aunt Mary. Why don't you pick out a story you would like me to read to you?" Mary Carey said softly to Luna.
"Thank you Aunt Mary and Aunt Marie." Luna said with a smile before running off towards the nursey area.
"I'm sorry for their behaviors." Mary Tudor said softly.
"It's fine. They are very young right now." Anne said softly back to Mary Tudor.

"Arthur & Luna?" Mary Carey said in shocked has realizing blossomed in her eyes.
"I'm so glad you understand, Lady Carey." Mary Tudor said coldly.

"Oh nothing to worry about Lady Anne. Just something that happen between us when we were younger in France." Mary Tudor said with a steel tone in her voice to drop the conversation.
