Author's Note:Welcome to Game Over! This is just a fun little idea I wanted to write. Hopefully I'll actually finish it.

Since this is a crossover between Danganronpa and Doki Doki Literature Club, you already know what you're getting into, but I'll warn you anyways.

WARNING: THIS FANFIC CONTAINS DEATH, THEMES OF DEPRESSION, MENTIONS OF BLOOD, SUICIDE, AND OTHER POTENTIALLY DISTURBING TOPICS. ENJOY THIS FANFIC AT YOUR RISK.

Now, with that out of the way, let's begin!

"HEY!"

From down the street, Shuichi Saihara could see a girl running towards him, her blonde hair flowing behind her. She wore her usual school uniform and was currently slinging on her white backpack.

That girl was Kaede Akamatsu, Shuichi's next-door neighbor, and childhood friend.

To be honest, how the two became friends would always be a mystery to Shuichi—their personalities were so different. All he knew was they clicked, and now they walked to school together everyday. Or, well, usedto.

You see, when high school started, Kaede claimed that she lost track of time while playing her piano, causing her to be more and late for school. Shuichi had to leave her behind on more than a few occasions, as a result.

However, it seemed like she managed to keep track of time better than she'd been doing, as she now stood next to Shuichi, trying to catch her breath.

"Sorry...for being late...I was...playing my...piano!"

"Ah, no," Shuichi replied, waving a dismissive hand, "you're fine."

Kaede blinked. "Really? Are you sure? I know you have a thing about being late, so..."

"Yeah, no. Like I said, you're fine."

Kaede giggled. "You're such a good friend, Shuichi."

She then flashed a bright smile and Shuichi could feel his cheeks heat up. "I-It's no problem... But, we should probably get going. Don't want to be later than we already are, right?"

"Oh, right. Let's go!"

And so, the two crossed the street and made their way to school. As they drew closer, it became increasingly speckled with students also making their daily commute.

"By the way, Shuichi..." Kaede spoke up. "Have you decided on a club to join yet?"

"...Club?" Shuichi thought on that for a moment. Then, he remembered. "Oh, um... S-Sorry, I forgot..."

"Seriously?" Kaede pouted. "You told me you would join a club!"

Shuichi could only rub his arm and avert his gaze from Kaede's. Eventually, her gaze softened.

"Hey, I'm not doing this to be mean. It's just.. Your happiness is important to me, you know? I won't be around forever, and I want you to have a life outside of just me."

Shuichi decided to ignore the very bit of what Kaede said replied with, "I know... Okay, how about this? After school, I'll go and check out some clubs. Today."

"Really?" Kaede's eyes lit up and her smile seemed to grow wider. "Thank you for trying, Shuichi."

"Ah, y-yeah. It's no problem...

As soon as the school day started, it ended. The final bell rang, signaling that school was offfically over for the day.

However, instead of packing up and leaving like the other students, Shuichi stared at the ground, lost in his thoughts.

Clubs...

Kaede wanted him to check out some clubs. But, where would he even start? It's not like he's ever done this sort of thing before...

"Hello?"

A familiar voice snapped Shuichi out of his thoughts, and he realized Kaede had walked into the classroom. That's when he looked around only to sew that he was the only one left in the classroom.

"Are you okay?" Kaede asked. "I waited for you by your locker, but you never showed up, so..."

"Ah," Shuichi replied, "you don't need to wait up for me if it's going to make you late for your own club."

"Actually, that's what I wanted to talk to you about! I was thinking that..."

"That...?"

"Well, that you join my club!"

So, yeah. Kaede was the Vice President of the Literature Club—not that Shuichi was ever aware that she had any interest in that in the first place. Since she was the first one to show interest after the President, she inherited the title "Vice President."

Now that Shuichi thought the offer over, hedid have an interest in literature. Plus, he'd be able to spend more time with Kaede—they haven't been able to do that in a while, thanks to her joining the club.

"Okay," Shuichi finally spoke. "I'll do it."

"Well, let's go!" Kaede exclaimed, gripping Shuichi's arm. "They're waiting on us!"

Two floors plus three doors down later, the duo found themselves standing in front of the classroom where the Literature Club was held.

Pushing the door open, Kaede exclaimed, "Hey, guys! I found a new member!"

Shuichi trailed in afterwards. He glanced around the room, which looked like a typical classroom you'd find anywhere in the building; grey walls, wooden floors and chairs, and the big green chalkboard in front.

"Welcome to the club, man!" a guy with spiked-up violet hair and a matching goatee exclaimed.

"Seriously?" a girl asked. She had long, dark brown pigtails and piercing red eyes. "We don't need anothermember."

"What a nice surprise," a second guy spoke. He had messy olive green hair and a noticeably laid-back aura than the other two members. Welcome to the Literature Club."

Any words that Shuichi tried to form died in his throat. Only one thought was on his mind.

All of these people are incredibly attractive...!
