Jasper's P.O.V.:
It took a few days before any of us noticed Edward left town. Then we thought he went to Alaska. That was when Alice told us he went to Italy more importantly to the Volturi. With false information so now we all were being summoned the Cullen's and the Whitlock's even Bella. I dropped Bella of at home to talk to her dad about her going to Italy with us for a few days.
"She won't have to pay a dime. We will also make sure Edward stays away from her. I treat her as I would my own sister." I explained and gave the dates when asked. Charlie eventually agreed to the trip. The good news out of all this was Jack wasn't summoned with us but that means he and Emmett will be separated again until this mess is cleared up. Jack was going to be in Italy with us but not going to the Volturi with us. A few months later all of us with the exception of Jack were on a plane to Italy.
Once we landed Jack was waiting outside of the airport for us. The Volturi however had other plans since they had Jane and Dimitri waiting for us. Emmett was protecting Bella quickly since Jack left to chill out somewhere. Anyway once everyone minus Jack arrived in the Volturi castle I knew I had to smooth talk our way out. " Ah The covens Cullen and Whitlock welcome, welcome and the human must be miss Swan. But didn't I say everyone in your coven Major Whitlock? If my sources are correct you are one short." Aro stated as soon as we were in the throne .
" We do know of who you're talking about. The Whitlock coven is only four well five since Miss Hale is my mate. Soon to be six after Miss Swan is turned either by me or Miss Alice." I explained looking at Emmett hoping that he wouldn't put Jack in danger. That's when Edward walked out of his little corner. Aro then insisted on reading all of us. That's when the doors burst open wind and the temperature dropped. That could only mean one person Jack Frost.
He took his place next to Emmett. " Sorry I'm late the wind took me to Antarctica for some reason. " he joked and I then realized that the only people who can see him except for the people I came with minus Bella were Jane and Alec that was because Bella can't see Jack for some reason anymore and Jane and her brother Alec were turned younger than most at thirteen. The good news is they took to Jack instantly as a big brother figure. The bad news was Aro now thinks they snapped and had Chelsea bind them to him. Jack was worried about the two now telling me he wanted to take them with us when we leave. I agree with him I know their mates are out there but they won't find them trapped in here.
"On what charges were we called Aro?" I questioned. I knew he thought of Peter, Charlotte , and myself as chrimals since we were involved in the southern vampire wars. But we didn't want to be. So we took off when we could.
" Informing a human of our existence, separating mates and you three are guilty of participating in the southern vampire wars..." Aro started but Jack got over to Jane and asked to know the source. I heard it and asked for who told him this. That's when Edward made himself known.
" I did." He announced in a board tone. of course he lied to save his own butt. I just offered Aro my hand in return making some excuse as to why Jack is invisible.
"I see that is an interesting story major Whitlock but without proper proof that's all it is." Aro stated looking at Marcus to prove our bonds.
"There's a sibling bond between the human and the major that goes back further than she is years old. The human is indeed mated to miss Alice. I also see bonds leading to another person these ones I have never seen before they are almost made of ice and snow but there's great love and friendship behind them. All the Cullen's have this bond but Edward, All the Whitlock's have this bond and that includes miss Swan, Jane and Alec also have this bond but it's faint under Chelsea's power." Marcus smiled before ordering Chelsea to let Jane and Alec go.
I heard Jack say something about wanting to be seen and the next thing we knew he was there translucent but still seen by everyone but Edward. The strange thing is he still appeared solid to those who already seen him. I was told after by Marcus about the translucency in Jack's appearance but hey they could hear him.
" I believe I am the missing coven member. But as a spirit I don't fall under that term I'm free to come and go as I see fit. I am the cause of the strange bonds though. I'm Jack Frost mate to Emmett Mccartey Cullen, Spirit of winter. Now unless you want a blizzard I suggest you let those two teens come with us." He perched on his staff as he spoke. Aro denied the request but Marcus agreed leaving Caius to decide if they should listen to Jack or not. He sided with Marcus causing Aro to whine and order the guard to try to get Jack. Jane and Alec went to Jack to protect him.
" thanks you two but let's just leave I doubt I would be much use anyway." I heard him say before turning to leave. Aro of course wasn't done with us yet. since he still called Peter, Charlotte and I war chrimals.
" I will work it off with Marcus not you two." I said before leaving after hearing the rest of the Cullen's telling Edward to lose their numbers. He had it coming. We went back to school the following week with Jane and Alec wanting to try before home schooling. The school was talking all about them and their strange sunglasses inside. We had five years to change Bella. Alice told me it would be sooner.
The week after that Peter texted me saying he and Charlotte saved a kid off the street named Bree. The kids mother died and her dad kicked her out. Bree could also see Jack. She saw Jack as an older brother. So Jack lost it when Jane and Bree started getting close in a more than friends way. The funny thing is that Bree had a very similar face to Jack maybe they were related. Bree was too young to turn. Alice said it was going to happen eventually.
Jack talked about helping Alice getting her memory back but she refused said it would distract her from the present. She did however ask Charlie if she and Rosalie could take Bella to Vancouver for the weekend. I was upstairs with Bella talking about our past when Charlie reminded Alice that Bella was grounded and called Carlisle telling him to ground Alice. Bella and I both laughed since Alice doesn't live there she's just the friend who is always over.
The next day at school Bella made her separation from Edward public and Jane had to restrain him. I had to drive Bella home where her dad closed the door on my face but Jack was already inside waiting for her. I just went home.
Jack's P.O.V.:
I just sat there listening to Bella and her dad fight. He was trying to get her to go out with a kid on the local reservation who was younger than she was. "Dad I just dumped Edward give me a break. You were aware of the trip to Italy before hand so you had no reason to ground me unless Billy told you to." Bella hissed out.
Now I'm interested did these two adults have nothing better than to play match maker with their kid's? "He said that they are dangerous and you shouldn't be around them." her dad tried to defend himself. It wasn't working because Bella was about to blow everything tell the truth about everything so the next thing they knew there was a snow storm that blew the power.
"Thanks Jack." I heard Bella whisper before she made an escape to her room. I followed her and sat on the windowsill. She lit a candle and sat on her bed. We talked until she went to sleep. I went back to Emmett after she was asleep. We just talked all night. I was told that the next day at school Edward told everyone he was dating Bella but everyone else told him to stop spreading lies. Alice and Emmett had no choice but to come out of the closet.
" I'm gay and my boyfriend is homeschooled." Emmett told me that's what he said.
"And I asked Bella out already." Emmett told me that's what Alice told the whole school. I wish I was there I didn't know Edward came back. Edward isn't living with the Cullen Coven anymore that explains it. Alice and Bella came over for a girls afternoon with Charlotte. Rose was out with Bree and Jane. So I watched the guys wrestle. I still felt lost though. I hope that I can figure it out soon.
