A\N: Hey guys! So, back in 2014, I wrote this story under another account name, but I love and cherish it so much that I'm going to be switching it to my main account and editing it to make it even better. I don't mind that I'll be losing some followers and stuff but I'm just happy to still have this baby that I love so much

Original A/N: Finally, I've read all kinds of fics but I've never read one quite like this so I thought I would write it myself. if you review you get 200 points for your house! :D

Disclaimer: I do not own the great Harry Potter. He belongs to J.K. Rowling.

"Good luck, Harry Potter." were the last words Albus Dumbledore spoke before disappearing.

I had been hiding behind the neighbors fence when Dumblefore, McGonagall and Hagrid had left my nephew Harry on the doorstep of my sister Petunia's home, the only sound now being the light buzzing of relit street lights and the occasional insect song.

As I stood there, silent in the dark shadows, I thought for a long moment about what was apparently supposed to happen and I shook my head, if there was one thing I knew about Petunia Dursley it was that she has always hated magic with a burning passion and anything to do with it, including my other sister Lily and her husband James. So I knew in my heart that she would not take Harry in with open arms and that if she didn't just chuck him out to an orphanage, a life with her and her little family would be one of true pain and I was not going to let that happen. Not to a sweet innocent child. Not to my baby nephew.

Walking out from behind the fence, I now took off the half invisible cloak that I'd been wearing, it's invisibility charm having started to wear off shortly before my nephew was left. I was so relieved that at the very least, it had kept me hidden because though I had known the charm on it would wear off eventually when I'd decided to bring it along, I knew I'd only needed it for tonight, so I'd hoped and was ecstatic that it had indeed lasted as long as I'd needed it to.

Picking it up now, I carried it to the neighbors garbage and throwing it away, I checked my watch and saw that it was about a half hour past two in the morning. This meant that my husband Zander would be here any minute to take Harry and I home. Without an ounce of uncertainty, I hurried from the neighbor's garbage can over to my sister's doorstep and picked up the little bundle that was Harry Potter and looked him over. Just like I'd been told, he looked just like his father had, but with the exception of Lily's beautiful green eyes. As I gazed into them, I couldn't help but feel a wetness building in my eyes, despite the smile I couldn't seem to shake.

They were gone, but he was not. Murdered by the most powerful dark wizard of all time, I knew in my heart that Lily and James and fought tooth and nail for their baby and with Voldemort seemingly destroyed, it seemed that their fight would not be in vain. I would also make sure their love would not be lost to this child. He would grow up knowing every single day how much he was and is loved. He would know that when he was scared or felt alone or needed someone by his side, I would be there. Zander would be there

He would have a family. A family who needed him, who wanted him, who cherished him.

Just then, as I was nuzzling the little bundle and whispering sweet nothings to him, there was a silent crack as Zander apperated behind me. "How is he?" The words left his lips quietly, as if they were merely a thought that I could read as strong arms found their way around my waist.

I looked up and as I did, one of his hands moved to brush away my tears, our eyes locking. "He's fine, what about Sirius?" I asked.

Despite popular belief, Zander and I refused to believe, and wholeheartedly deny that Sirius Black- True Blue Marauder and surrogate brother to James was the true spy all along and we definitely didn't believe that he would ever betray Lily and James, so Zander being the stealthy wizard that he's always been, was to go, capture and bring him back to the house where Zander's sister, Xayla would watch over him until my husband and I could question him Zander sighed but nodded all the same "He killed Peter, I think... I got him right before the ministry arrived. He's out cold and tied up in our basement."

I grinned and gave him a quick kiss before saying "That's the weirdest thing I think you've ever said, now come on let's go, there is still so much that needs to be done."

My husband removed his arms from around my waist with a nod and took my arm "Hold tight" he ordered. I held Harry tighter in my arms, nuzzling him once again as we apperated home.

We landed in a thicket of trees, the foliage tick around us, making it nearly impossible to see. Zander raised his wand and giving us light, we made our way now through the darkness, stepping over roots and ducking under branches as we went. We walked for around half an hour until finally, we were standing in front of a two story house, it's windows glittering softly in the moonlight.

Even if a crowd of people had followed us here, only Zander and I would be able to lay eyes on the home, with the exception of Xayla, as the house was under a whole slew of protective charms, including the Fidlius charm, with myself being the secret keeper. It had taken a lot of work, with Zander having built it all by himself when we'd gone into hiding many years ago, but we were proud to call it our home and despite all the blood, sweat and tears we'd poured into it, it felt safer than anywhere I'd ever lived before and it was my dream home.

Walking into the house, my husband just behind me I noticed that Xayla, the sweet girl that she was had obviously not been terribly bothered by keeping watch of our little "Crim" friend in the basement as she'd done some cleaning up, As before I had gone to go get Harry there had been some housework I'd intended on getting to, but with it already completed and loud music blasted from somewhere in the distance of the house I rolled my eyes with a smile, "Xayla!" I called as I entered the living room.

"Rose!" I heard her call from the basement and the music stopped.

"Yes hun, it's me and we have the B.W.L." Seconds later, Xayla walked in, floating behind her was a now fully awake Sirius Black, bound and with a blindfold on. The young Marauder looked disheveled and beaten up. He'd really gotten but butt handed to him, though I'm certain he'd fought back valiantly, not many could take on my husband and win.

"What's a B.W.L.?" asked Sirius bewildered, this would have been a stupid question had he not been blind folded or perhaps not- Did he know Harry was alive? He to have, right? He'd given Hagrid his motorcycle according to the half giant. So, I suppose the real question was whether he cared or not. I was positive that the man before didn't have an evil bone in his body, but we had to be careful, we had to make absolutely certain that he hadn't gotten my baby sister kill.

"It's a sandwich you moron." lied Xayla in an annoyed voice as she lightly hit the back of his head. This caused Zander to snicker as I gave my sister-in-law, the tiniest smirk. She could be sassy, but her sass was also a special brand of humor.

Handing Harry to the young woman as I smirked at her, I hugged her and whispered into her ear. "Take Harry upstairs to one of the extra bedrooms, turn the bed into a crib, lay him down, sit with him and put a silencing charm over the room just in case he starts crying." I then turned to look at my husband and waited until Xayla and Harry were safely upstairs before saying "Zander go get the Veritaserum '' Nodding, he walked over to a cupboard above a bookshelf, opened the door on the utmost left and pulled a small vial with clear liquid in it out and with a wave of Zander's wand Sirius' blindfold came off.

My husband handed me the vial, and without a word, He walked into the kitchen and came back out a moment later with a bottle of water which he also handed to me. Nodding as I took the water, I put three drops of Veritesirm into the bottle and forced Sirius to drink some. All I then had to say was "Explain everything." and he did.

He started off with their days in school, finding out Remus was a werewolf- this floored me. Remus, a werewolf? I honestly wouldn't have ever pegged that for the young man, but the more I let it sink in, the more it made sense. Remus was a sweet man, intelligent, absolutely stunning, but for some reason, he always looked shabby and exhausted, like all he really needed in life was a nice long nap. It made my heart ache and I vowed that one day, I'd help him somehow. It was absolutely horrific the way Werewolves were treated. Yes, there were some bad ones, but just like with anyone else, not all of them were bad.

I shook myself out of my musings as Sirius went on still, about how because Remus was a werewolf, Peter had convinced them that he might be the spy-- this made my blood boil with rage, but I said nothing and listened as then, we were told about the secret keeper swap and how he'd convinced James to switch at the last moment and how their friend, the rat was the real secret keeper, how he had been the unsuspected spy for so long and how he had faked his own death.

By the time he was finished with his explanation, the young Black was practically in tears, the shame, pain, sadness and regret shining clear in his once bright, mischievous dark eyes.

Now sitting on the couch as I listened to him cry, I sat back and closed my eyes for a moment. I needed to think this all through and take everything in. There seemed to be so many lies and deceit going around, that if it weren't for the truth potion, I wouldn't know who to believe.

However, we had used the true serum.

Sirius wasn't lying.

Opening my eyes, I looked at Zander and as my eyes met his, I knew we were both thinking the same thing, We knew that we were in for the journey of a lifetime.

A/N: I really hoped you guys enjoyed the first chapter! I've worked really hard on this story and your feedback, good or bad really is what helps me improve.

Anyway!

Good or bad, these are the people that read and reviewed this story last time i posted it. I'm not above Criticism, so i decided to leave in any "negative" reviews. All of these would've been public information and its also why I decided to do this. My replies from the time or current replies to these will be in bolded text, just as the Authors notes are, so you'll know its my voice.

You're welcome. :)

Interesting premise, but it seems more like a plan to the story than the story itself. And, except for Rose and Sam, really bad names.

Guest - Chapter 2 - Nov 16, 2017

No offense to your character Zander, but it would have been better if Sirius was Rose's husband instead

To my 2 guest reviewers, first thank you for your reviews, I appreciate the compliments and yeah, honestly with how vague everything originally was when I first wrote this story, thats more of what it was but now, I have so many plans and Twenty-Two chapters ready for publishing. Also, names are very subjective.they mean a lot to me.

Second, I chose the name Rose because it follows the flower pattern of the Evans' (Just be happy that Dudley's sister wasn't named Daisy like every other sister given to him. XD) and as for why I did not put Sirius and Rose together that was because that would be too easy and plus, she's much older than him and would not have been given a true chance to meet him. It is so just like what everyone does to put their character with a marauder (even if I had to choose one it would be Remus) and I didn't want to do that, that's why Xayla exists. Now if you want a fic on Xayla/Sirius, that I can deliver. But putting Rose with Sirius would never have really been an option for me.

And for these, I am NOT sorry

Thank You for your time and review

I wonder if henry could be the reincarnation of some1 or something

Interesting theory :)

Nanettez - Chapter 12 - Oct 7, 2017

At the start of this chapter you called Henry the oldest. What about Toby? Does he go to Hogwarts?

Harry and Henry are exactly the same age, Rose just considers Harry the older because she had him first. Yes, Toby is going to Hogwarts, go back and loook here. ("He just doesn't wanna make more lunch." I pretend to pout as Toby and little Relena then walked into the room, the older carrying an envelope in his hand as he did.) Toby is considered all of their child, if I were to specify who adopted him, it would have been Remus.

Nanettez - Chapter 2 - Oct 7, 2017

I remember reading this before. I can't remember how long ago.

I had written the entire story before this in early 2013 without the intent of Continuing it into Harrys Hogwarts years, but after thinking about it, the concept was just too interesting to pass up.

what? Shouldn't there be more? This really feels incomplete...

I believe at the time, the reviewer didn't know the story wasn't a oneshot.
