A bus pulled up at an empty film lot with all fourteen contestants; then one by one they got off the bus. After spending one season of Total Drama, they were not giving up the one million dollars so easily. They waited at the entrance of the film lot, waiting for Chris to show up. Beth had gotten her braces off for the new season and Heather started wearing wigs after she got her head shaved.
Chris finally showed up in a trailer cart with enough seats for everyone. Everyone got onto the trailer cart then Chris started driving into the film studio. Izzy arrived in the cart a little late since she liked being called Kaleidoscope.
Chris: "Welcome to the set of "Total Drama Action". This season's hottest reality show will be shot here, on an abandoned film lot."
Lindsay: (gasps) "Does this mean we're gonna be in the movies?"
Chirs: "No, it means you're gonna be on TV. And don't interrupt me. Ever. You'll be spending the next six weeks here, competing against each other in challenges and for rewards, all for the chance to win some monster cash."
Owen: "Yeah, baby! I'm gonna win me some moola!"
Chris: "Shush! Like last season, one team will win, and the other team will watch one of their own make their way down the dreaded Walk of Shame to the Lame-o-sine."
Chris rolled up the windows only on his side as they passed the Lame-o-sine which was backfiring a lot of smoke. Everyone coughed.
Trent: "Couldn't you have spun for a better ride?"
Chris: "No. Now, since we don't have the outhouse to dump your deepest darkest secrets in, you'll dish the dirt in our new make-up confessional. To your left is the craft services tent, catered by Chef."
Chris drives up to a dumpy old theater.
Chris: "If you survive Chef, you'll have to make it through our dramatic awards ceremony, where all but one loser will receive a Gilded Chris Award."
(Confessional)
Gwen: "The Gilded Chris? Ha! What a narcissist! Don't get me wrong. I still want one."
(End Confessional)
They drove onto different sets until they stopped at a set for a monster movie.
Chris: "A few months ago, this lot was home to a high-budget monster movie, until the star began experiencing some, uh… difficulties."
Lindsay: "Oh, no! Did she have like, a mental breakdown?
Chris: "Actually, the star wasn't a her. It was an animatronic monster!
Everyone saw that most of the set was destroyed by the monster.
Gwen: What happened to it?
(Confessional)
Gwen: "In retrospect, I shouldn't have asked that question.
(End Confessional)
Everyone suddenly heard a loud monstrous roar then someone or something knocked over a fake cell tower in the road. Chris stopped the cart just in time. Chris explained that all the challenges will be based on movie genres hence why today's challenge was a monster movie. The mechanical monster stomped by scaring everyone, well DJ fainted from fear.
Chris: For your first challenge, everyone must get from here to the cast trailers, while our state-of-the-art monster prevents your every move. Someone very special has kindly offered to control the beast. I can't say who, but they will be revealed at the end of the challenge. And… action!"
Everyone just stood there looking confused until Chris said that action meant go. Soon all the contestants were running for their lives from the monster. The monster seemed to like the game of cat and mouse, it only caught DJ after he had hidden in fear. The monster dropped his prisoner into a bouncy house. It also caught Izzy and even Bridgette and Geoff during their make out session. When the monster caught Harold and Leshawna, it was gentler with them than the other players. Even when it caught Justin the hot model, it wasn't fazed by his looks.
But the monster found it easy to catch Linday, the dumb blonde and Heather, the mean girl wannabe. It even caught Beth, Trent, and Gwen when they ran into a fake building.

Della: "Ok, when Chris asked if I wanted to be on the show, I thought I would get to be a part of the challenge. Being a monster and hunting down easy targets? Not exactly a challenge."
(End of Confession)
The final contestants were Duncan and Owen. Though the monster was able to capture Duncan, it couldn't even lift Owen because of his weight. Because of Owen's weight, the suit controlling the monster was short circuited and the monster was shut down. It took Owen at least ten and a half hours to find the cast trailers but he also freed the others from the bouncy house prison. Though the monster did get revenge by squishing one of the trailers. Chirs came out of the non-squashed trailer along with a girl with platinum hair, a dragon tattoo and a nose piercing.
Della: "Man, I get I lost the bet."
Heather: "And just who is this?"
Chris: I did say that someone was controlling the monster. May I introduce our new contestant on the show and Chef's niece, Della Winters.
Heather: "What?! That is not fair! She'll get special treatment!"
Della: "Relax princess, I requested to be treated the same way as you guys. Besides, I believe one of you at least knows me."
Leshawna: "Hold up, El? Is that you? Dang girl, I hardly recognized you!"
Gwen: "You two know each other?"
Leshawna: "El and I go way back. But I didn't know you were related to Chef."
Della: "Chef's an old friend of my dad so I consider him my uncle."
Chris: "If this little reunion is over, the monster was just a warmup. Good news is your next challenge is a reward. It will be the boys against the girls, with the winner getting the first pick of the trailers, where you'll be living for the next 42 days."
The next challenge was in the craft serves tent where Chef had brought out the most amazing food that looked right out of a commercial. But before Chris could explain the challenge, Owen thought it was an eating challenge and devoured the whole thing within minutes. The food was fake; props that were made from foam core, silicone, sawdust, and wax. The challenge was to find the key in the fake food, Owen burped up the key.
(Confession)
Della: "This guy can't be human."
Leshawna: "You know what that boy has? Guts. Guts full of foamcore and rubber, but guts just the same."

The trailers were fixed up then each group went into their trailers. Della was dreading bunking with the rest of the girls since Heather was making things difficult. Della couldn't take it then she grabbed her stuff and slept outside of the trailer. At least she was getting some peace and quiet.
