A/n:So we're gonna start to get into battle training here I'm gonna skip the lunch mostly cause nothing note would have happened. Also something of note is the battle trial will probably be shorter than you'd expect mainly cause 1 this arc is kinda boring to me and second all might and Vlad king are good teachers

Now onward with the story.
Ch4 former friends clash
Class b had all settled in the lunch room sitting off to different part of the lunch room. Izuku was seated with kendo and monoma. The latter was sitting idly, not interacting too much with either of the former.
Kendo was taking a bite of her food as she looked out of the corner of her eye to see Izuku was kinda there he wasn't eating he seemed on edge.
Kendo swallowed her food before she placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder as the green haired teen flinched slightly. "Are you ok". Izuku looked away.
"It's okay if your not comfortable this kinda stuff can be disorientating"
Izuku quickly nodded his head "no no it's fine I don't wanna be a burden" Izuku took a bite of his katsudon as he pulled away from the conversation.
Kendo sighs before standing up. Kendo grabbed her tray and grabbed izuku's. Izuku jumped slightly.
Kendo motioned for Izuku to follow her. The green haired teen stood up with monoma following the duo.
After a few minutes the trio ended up on the school's rooftop. Kendo had their food placed into bags. The trio sat down as the began unbagging there lunches.
"how about this is this better less people just the three of us up here" kendo said breaking the silence.
Izuku looked over the rooftop and gulped but said nothing as much as one fear could happen. It was nice not being in the crowded lunchroom.
"Yeah this is better" Izuku mumbled with a sense of clarity in his tone.
"Well okay then so what's your quirk like" monoma asked.
The question surprised Izuku. It was normally something he'd ask others.
"Well my quirk is strength enhancement type and make me stronger."
"Well does your quirk build up energy cause your quirk reads a blank to me" monoma states.
Izuku grew curious he'd never heard the term blank before. "I'm curious what's a blank"
"It what I call quirks that need build up time I call them blanks because the they don't have anything to them when I copy them"
Izuku began writing in his notebook as he began updating his notes on monoma.
"Wait how do you know my quirk is like that I don't remember you copying my quirk" Izuku asked, confused.
"Back during the tests sensei had us do i tried copying your quirk nothing came up"
Izuku's face adopted a look of surprise beige returning to his book.he wrote down all he could about monoma's quirk.
"Well since we're talking about quirks kendo what's yours"
Kendo looked up from her food and was about to answer when the school bell went off.
"Maybe later we got heroic training soon" kendo told the duo.
The trio left quickly making sure not to leave anything behind.
Class 1-b was settled into there classroom expecting someone to come in and set up the lessons. To everyone's shock just Vlad sensei came into the room.
"Alright everyone put on your costumes and head to ground beta more information will be provided there"
That was all he said and that lead to the current scene of class b standing at ground beta.
They weren't sure what to expect. There sister class being there also in full costume was not one of them.
Before classes sat watching each other. Monoma and Bakugo both glared at each other.
"Welcome young heroes today we'll be doing battle trials" All Might announced gaining the students attention.
"We're going to test your teamwork skills as well as your indoor combat abilities" Aizawa stated while glaring at a certain student.
"We'll be doing this in teams of 2 however since my class has an odd number we'll have one group of 3" Vlad asked.
Soon the group drew lots to determine teams
Class1-b teams
Team A Izuku midoriya and Itsuka kendo
Team B kojiro bondo and reiko yanagi
Team C neito monoma and kosei tsuburaba and manga fukidashi
Team D Jurota Shishida and sen kaibara
Team E ibara shiozaki and pony tsunotori
Team F shihai kuroiro and kinoko Komori

"First up are THESE GUYS"
All Might pulled out 2 balls labeled class1-B team A and class 1-A team D.
Izuku's face sank as he turned to see Bakugo giving him a death stare.
Shinso a fairly tall young man with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head and notably straight teeth. His eyes are purple with white pupils, and are thin and somewhat triangular in shape, pointing downward, with no visible eyelashes
He wore gear that was form fitting and predominantly black
(The knight monkey suit from far from home)
"So Bakugo, what do you think of this match up" shinso asked.
"Shouldn't be trouble that damn nerd is gonna die and ponytail is gonna get her ass handed to her" Bakugo snarled.
Bakugo was wearing his own hero costume which had a black tang top with an orange X on it he had tactical pants withc had spiked knee pad and a pair of boots on his arms were grenade shaped guanlets.
"We should take this seriously dude we don't what either of them can do" shinso mutters,
"Deku breaks his bones and pony tail probably has some shitty quirk now shut up and defend the bomb"
Katsuki took off and into the building shinso sighed before venturing into the building himself.
Izuku and kendo broke out into a sprint as they entered the building.
"Okay midoriya the plan is we stick together and try to find the bomb got it" kendo asked.
Izuku nodded but his attention wasn't all there as he listened in on the building. Izuku and kendo kept there sprint as they came to intersection in the building. Izuku's mind register one thing to the left hallway explosions.
'I don't know if I can fight him but kendo has a better chance as a fighter against the other guy.' Izuku thought to himself.
Izuku pivoted as he headed for the left hallway.
"Bakugo is to the left I'm Gonna lead him away from us" Izuku shouted.
"What but the bomb" kendo retorted.
"You can take care of that kendo your the better fighter I can't do much but I can atleast lead one for the enemy away from us" Izuku responded.
"Fine but be careful" kendo relented as she took the right hallway.
Izuku charged forward as he heard the explosions grow bigger. Izuku grit his teeth as he remembered the ballon as his power flared up he jumped and threw a fist that collided with Bakugo's own attack. The two clashed before both sliding past each other and landing where the other started.
"Well well well if it isn't the deku himself" Bakugo smirked.
Izuku said nothing he needed to focus. He took a Stance as his power raised up again. Izuku planted his feet, Izuku knew he only had so much time like this he may not have broken his bones but the attacks still hurt.
Izuku ran foward as Bakugo stood there waiting. Bakugo raised his hand and readied and explosion. Bakugo threw a downward explosion which Izuku jumped over as he landed a solid blow to Bakugo's head. Bakugo staggered for moment before launching another explosion at Izuku. The green haired teen flicked his finger to push himself as landed and skidded on his knees.
"Alright you damn nerd this is it this is the day you finally die" Bakugo sneered.
"All my life you've pushed me around you treated like I'm some obstacle to your success."
Izuku grit his teeth as he get his power raise up this time from 4 to 7 percent.
"Newsflash I made it here just like you did I earned a spot here just like you did".
Izuku reared his fist as he strikes bakugo's gauntlet. Then izuku planted his heel and before kicking up to hit bakugo in the chin. Bakugo pulled back and moved to blast izuku in the stomach. Izuku was sent flying backwards. Izuku hit the floor with a thud but he quickly stood up.
Back in the watch room everyone watched the fight with intense interest. Class 1-a was murmuring about izuku since he was expelled they weren't expecting much.
Monoma sneered at the group. "You know if you have something to say about our classmate you could lot could actually say it out loud instead of talking about him like he's some mistake"
"We didn't mean" one dressed in what looked like armor with a helmet and the legs and torso being covered in what looked like car parts.
"Monoma chill dude" setsuna placed a hand in the taller boy's shoulder.
Monoma kept his sneer but relented."Hmph I'd just prefer if our sister class could show respect to our classmate especially after his showing against the brute"
"Yeah monoma's right midobro is doing pretty well against bakugo" tetsutetsu piped up.
"Yeah but bakubro is super strong too don't count him out" someone who could be described as red tetsutetsu shouted.
"As well as midoriya is doing, his quirk is destructive to himself the minute he uses it he's becomes utterly useless" Aizawa bluntly states.
Vlad smirks as he stares down his fellow teacher.
"Midoriya has developed his quirk Infact he's been using it a lot this match the moment where he stops and closes his eyes to focus is him summoning his power."
"Yeah midoriya got good control over quirk" pony stated in broken Japanese.
Shishida grimmaces over the situation as he watches the footage. On screen Midoriya kicks off and presses the attack on bakugo unlike the last few times this time midoriya blocks the blonde bomber's attack. This left part of midoriya's mask and his left sleeve in tatters.
"Unfortunately sir midoriya doesn't have as good of control of his quirk as we'd like to believe he has" shishida laments.
Everyone looks at shishida with confusion. The beast boy clears his throat and points to the camera showing Izuku on it. Izuku was panting after having just attacked.
"Right there after his attack his power drops before"
The video showed Izuku powering up again and running in for a renewed assault.
Everyone could see it now while the power was great Izuku couldn't freely use it.
'Damn it' Izuku thought himself
his body felt like it was hit by a train. he could barely stand as it was. He was losing stamina fast and his opponent was no worse for wear.
"Kendo have you found the bomb" Izuku radioed in.
On the other side of the building kendo who was ducking behind cover as looked over her shoulder trying to find the other class a memeber.
"Nope nothing yet" kendo replied,
Kendo tapped on her earpiece to silence it. Kendo immediately jumped as cloth came down trying to capture her.
The other member of class A dropped from the ceiling.
"Nice dodge, there," shinso said, trying to garner a response.
Kendo immediately took up her fighting stance.shinso grunted before taking the capture scarf and taking a stance of his own. Both fighters dashed towards their opponent and clashed against the other forearm with their own.
"What's wrong, got nothing to say." Shinso asked, still trying to get a response from kendo.
Kendo grunts as she pushes against shinso. Both parties not losing ground.
"Talking while fighting is hard don't ya think" kendo responded.
"Fair but sometimes it can net you the win if you do it right"
Shinso broke the clash and jumped back but kendo dashed forward and went for a palm strike which hit the purple haired boy in the chest she then followed up her attack by punching him in the stomach twice in a row before running and doing kick that sent the stealthy student into the wall.
Shinso groaned before picking himself.he knew he was crewed in a straight fight. He threw his capture scarf upward and pulled himself onto the ceiling. He grabbed a raptor as he pulled on his mask and started messing with the mobs on it. This was his ace.
Kendo looked up and spotted shinso. Kendo activated her quirk and her hand grew. With her hand at full size she clapped causing the room to shake slightly as shinso fell from the raptor. Shinso broke his fall by rolling into ball and rolling.shinso took a stance with his legs spread wide as the capture scarf was hanging limply.
Shinso then broke out into a sprint low to the ground as he shot out his weapon. Kendo kicked the strand away but another wrapped around her leg. Shinso heaved with his might but kendo instinctively used her quirk and used her gigantic hand to grab the surrounding wall. Shinso growled before letting Kendo's leg go and running. Kendo broke out into sprint chasing after shinso.
Kendo stopped her sprint to catch her breath. Kendo looked around her surroundings trying to find shinso. He'd seemingly disappeared. Kendo kept her guard up as she walked into one of the rooms.
The sounds of rustling alerted kendo as she jerked her head to the left. She was met with nothing before hearing someone speak.
"YOUNG KENDO are you not aware that the match is over" what sounded like All might stated.
"Wait ove-"
Kendo's body froze before her arms went limp.kendo's face went limp her mouth slightly agape and her eyes went blank and turned milk white
She felt dazed , like her brain is full of fog, but she was still largely aware of her current state of being, despite looking completely spaced out
'What's happening why can't I move'
Shinso appeared from behind a pillar in the room.
"Sorry about that my quirk's a bit tricky so had to play things smart so looks like I win this game" shinso states
Shinso pulls out the capture tape given to him by the teachers to capture the enemy team.
"Raise your hands," shinso ordered.
Kendo's body listened, much to her mind's shock and slight horror. Her horror came from the nature of the entire situation. She had no control over herself, she was prisoner in her own body. Meanwhile her body was being controlled by an outside force like a puppet.
Shinso was about to wrap kendo's arm in capture. Then something fierce shook the building. The result force knocked shinso and kendo off their feet and also dispelled the effects of shinso's quirk.
"What the hell"

Kendo and shinso's ear pierce both came online.
"Young shinso, young kendo the match is truly over this time the villain team has been disqualified" All might informed both students.
And done so this took longer than I thought sorry about that readers. Anyway so here's the first part of the battle trail and next chapter is the second part and after the time it took this is probably my least favorite thing to write about. So we had the first fight between Izuku and Bakugo and the oen between shinso and kendo
Also I intentionally tried to write shinso's quirk as being somewhat scary because let's be fair his quirk is one of the scarier ones in the verse especially when you think about it for too Long.
So the next chapter we're gonna cut back to the end of Bakugo and Izuku's battle and explain why the villains got disqualified.
Also after this I think I'm gonna skip the rest of the battle trial after this cause I really wanna get to the next arc.
