The night spent at the Owl House after the trial may have been the worst one that either of them experienced. After everything they have endured the young Blight decided to stay in the Owl House to make sure her girlfriend was indeed alright. Yet, the dreams they experienced were nothing one would wish upon their worst enemies.

"Animal…" Odalia's voice echoed in her daughter's mind.

"Let me out!" Amity screamed out in her sleep. Luz, still deeply asleep, did not react to that at all. "Please! Stop!" She screamed again and her hands delicately shone with a lavender-colored glow. Her magic uncontrollably seeped away while the young witch kept thrashing in bed, mumbling incoherently, then screaming again. Eda ran into the room slipping into her bunny slippers and was shocked to see Amity losing control of her magical energy. The older witch was about to say something, to wake the girl up when a sudden distressed screech, escaping her daughter's throat, deafened her pointy ears. What surprised Eda, even more, was that it did not wake Amity up.

"Hooty!" She called the house Demon for his assistance, not really knowing what else she should do.

"Don't… touch!" Amity growled thrashing in bed. Embers around her hands ignited, she let out a long hiss, and she sent a powerful fireball at the wall in front of the bed.

Hooty made his appearance, swallowing the fireball just in time, and looked back at Eda with concern. Luz screeched again but this time her hands grew out sharp talons. She grabbed her head in panic, turned to the side, away from Amity, and cried in her sleep.

"Amity, wake up!" Eda approached the young witch who kept on screaming, tears rolling down her cheeks, and her mind still trapped in her nightmare. Luz's screech got louder and her body was slowly getting covered in feathers.

"Don't hurt her!" The human screamed with a distorted voice and Eda was dumbstruck. She had no idea what to do. "Just pick one!" She ran toward the Blight and with a moment of hesitation she touched the witchling's arm to shake her awake.

"Amity…" The older witch was interrupted by a powerful fire blast she barely managed to dodge.

"DON'T!" Amity screamed, jumping at Eda, attacking her, pinning her to the floor, and finally opened her eyes not understanding what was happening. "E-Eda?" She asked, gasping for air, looking with confusion at the witch below her, not knowing what was happening. "Ph-Philip…" She looked around the room as if she was looking for someone.

"He's not here, Boots." Eda said softly, helping the witchling off her "You're safe…" She said but was interrupted by a loud thud of Luz falling off the bed. "That's why I told them to sleep on the floor…" Eda thought when both witches and Hooty looked down at the human who struggled with her memories. They shared a look. Blight immediately forgot about her dream and quickly approached her girlfriend, writhing on the floor.

"Luz… can you hear me?" Amity asked and looked back at Eda for some support. The older Clawthorne shrugged her shoulders and looked back at her daughter.

"I won't… You can't!" Luz was exclaiming, thrashing on the floor. Her talons scratched the floorboards and her fang grew out. "She's not a puppet!" The human screeched and her body was surrounded with a golden glow of released Owl Demon's energy, its warmth lifted Amity's and Eda's hair up. "Screech!" Her voice deafened everyone in the House while the harpy's wings grew out and the magic blasted away from the human in a hot wave, pushing the smallest objects away, her eyes opened wide showing the pitch-black eyes of the Demon living inside her body. Without any warning her harpy limbs cracked and started changing.

"Eda!" Amity exclaimed, realizing her girlfriend was losing control while the Owl Beast's emotions were erupting. "The elixir!" She ordered and Luz's mother immediately ran toward her potion cabinet. "Luz, please, you need to wake up…" She pleaded while caressing the human's cheek. Another snap broke Luz's shoulder and a scream of pain filled the room. "LUZ!" She yelled and with that, the golden irises appeared in the black eyes. As soon as they did, Amity noticed her pupils shrinking down, brows frowning, and lips snarling.

"YOU!?" Luz growled and jumped at the witch, pinning her to the wall, holding her up by her throat. Amity coughed, spitting on her own chin in a struggle.

"Luz…" The witch pleaded in a higher pitch, holding onto the feathery arm "You have to… wake up!" She said and managed to draw a spell circle that turned into a powerful light spell, blinding the human who jumped away, releasing the tight grip, shaking her head just in time for Eda to come back with a golden-elixir-filled vial. Young Blight coughed hard, slipping down to the floor while she watched Eda and Hooty force the elixir into Luz's throat. A silent chirp escaped her lips and the human fell to the floor face down, calmly asleep again, her owlish features disappearing. Hooty caught her just in time to break the fall and placed her back in the bed while Amity was staring at her with shock from the floor.

"Are you okay?" Eda approached Amity with caution, keeping in mind that she too was in a fragile place, kneeling in front of the young witch, placing a hand on her shoulder. Amity looked up and let her tears flow down freely. Her breath increased and she accepted the embrace Eda had offered.

"Will she… will she always see Odalia in me?" She asked scared for the future of their relationship. Eda tightened her hold on the witchling and sighed, placing a hand on the lavender hair.

"She doesn't see Odalia in you. She was just hurt. Badly." Eda offered and started rocking slowly. "You are nothing like Odalia. Not from your looks, not from your personality. Trust me, I know. Nightmares just poison a person's mind." She explained and Amity accepted this explanation as well as the warmth and support. Yet, her sight never left Luz's sleeping figure. Her fear and desperation turned into anger and rage.

"Thank you, Eda…" Amity whispered when she calmed herself down.

"Hey, don't mention it." Eda sighed and pulled away to smile at the young witch in front of her "I know that whole trial will have a big impact on both of you but you know, you can't hide from your fears forever, which is why you gotta get the jump on them." She said with a smirk "Give 'em a whack right in the face, Boots." Amity blushed a bit thinking of how amazing and supportive Eda had been toward her in the past few weeks.

Luz moaned a bit in her sleep and Amity straightened herself up. "What do you say we try to go back to sleep?" Eda asked and Blight nodded unknowingly. "If you need me just… scream?" She said with a smile that was borderline taunting but also partially serious.

"Sure…" Amity laughed bitterly and stood up with Eda. "Thank you for being here… you have no idea… I mean… It's just…" She did not know which words would be best to describe her feelings.

"Boots…" Eda interrupted her, lifting up her hand "Don't mention it." They both knew that Amity meant having someone there for her for the first time in her life, a parental figure who was supporting her through thick and thin. "Just sleep. You need it." She added and left the room. Amity snuggled to Luz in no time and fell into an unrestful slumber, still worried for her girlfriend and the future ahead of them.

Everyone in the Owl House woke up a little bit after noon and only because Emira Blight thought that it would be good to pay her sister a visit while Viney kept the Clinic running. She was forgiven for waking everybody up, the moment she presented the food she brought for everyone. Including Hooty. The pastries smelled wonderfully and Emira had to make sure King would not eat everything by himself. The Healer was not in the Owl house for longer than half an hour when Willow made it with the cake she had baked. They both sat down in the living room, both understanding how awkward their behavior was but they knew no other way to support the people they cared about. By the time Amity and Luz made it downstairs King was done with his portion of the food the guests had brought. Amity sat down in the spare armchair while Luz just plopped down on the floor in front of the black bean brew table, setting her cane next to her, resting her head on her girlfriend's lap, barely staying awake.

"I take it you did not sleep well?" Emira asked, looking at Luz. Her hair was messy, she was missing her beanie, her eyes were swollen, and her scarred brow twitched from time to time. The human just shrugged and her shoulder popped back into its rightful place, making everyone wince at the sound.

"I don't wanna talk about it…" Luz said quietly and looked at the food on the table in front of her. She knew it was good, she knew her body needed it, and she knew it was her favorite, her stomach growled at her angrily but subconsciously she had no desire to eat. Emira and Willow looked at Amity for some explanation.

"Let it go, guys." She asked their guests "It was a rough night for everyone." She said and watched Luz carefully, worrying about her. "Luz, what can I get you?" She asked, leaning down closer to her girlfriend, hoping to get some food into her. She looked at Willow and Emira to see if it was just her or were all of them extremely worried about the human's behavior. Luz just grabbed her stomach and looked up at Amity with a sight full of remorse.

"I'm… not hungry…" She almost whispered. Amity wanted to say something but Willow rolled her eyes with a loud growl and looked at her friend fiercely.

"I knew it, Clawthorne!" The plant witch exclaimed with a bit of annoyance. "Here, I know you'd love it." She said passing the human a bunch of PB&J sandwiches. Luz looked up at her friend and with a delicate smile of encouragement, she slowly started eating. The appetite started to return with each passing moment and every next bite. Amity chuckled a bit at that.

"Thank you, Willow." Blight looked at her friend with a smile of gratitude. Park just corrected the glasses on her nose and smirked, glad she predicted the human's behavior.

The week separating the residents of the Owl House from Odalia's sentence was not only difficult but painful as well. While Amity's sessions with her Healer were going well, Luz was struggling. Eda did not understand it at first but Emira had a moment with her, explaining how the brain retains memories.

Amity had her trauma worked throughout the years and re-experiencing it during the Trial did not impact the young Blight as badly because she had those memories processed. Luz on the other hand was just found in the catacombs a few weeks ago. Everything was still so fresh to her. Too fresh. Amity knew that too hence she decided to stick around as long as her girlfriend needed.

Seven days may be considered a short time to pass by but Luz was feeling so cut off from reality she could have sworn it felt like a year. All progress she had made before the Trial seemed to be gone. Seeing Odalia, her cold eyes, smirks, reliving the torture, freezing with fear hit the Clawthorne hard.

"How is she?" Amity asked the Healer, leaving Luz's room. They looked down at the witch with a sad expression and guided her toward the living room where Eda was waiting for the session to end.

"Sadly, she regressed…" The Healer spoke softly "She will get through it though, she's really strong but…" They took a deep, heavy breath "Be patient with her, try to make her feel normal. Just keep in mind she can be easily triggered now."

"Do you know what can trigger her?" Eda asked, her voice filled with worry. She recalled Luz's panic back at the Clinic and it broke her heart all over again.

"It can be really everything." The Healer said in all honesty "We don't know what happened… what was done to her." They paused, noticing Amity's gaze "It can be anything from a hold on her wrists to a sound of a creaking door." The silence surrounded the room and even Hooty did not dare to interrupt it. He moved his long neck to sneak a peek into Luz's room with worry in his brownish eyes.

"Luz?" Amity popped her head into the room just to find her girlfriend still sitting in the armchair where the Healer had left her. She was scratching her right wrist, leaving marks on her skin. The witch sighed, knowing all too well the need for painful stimulation, looking for something to bring her back to reality. She squatted in front of the human and looked into the eyes transfixed on something in the vast emptiness. "Luz, can you hear me?" She took a delicate hold of the hand to refrain it from scratching. The human trembled, clearly shocked by the sudden presence.

"A-Amity?" She looked so confused and scared but the witch just smiled warmly at her, trying to comfort her. "I'm sorry…" She added in a whisper and Amity took hold of Luz's second hand as well.

"What do you say we'd go for a walk?" The witch said softly "Maybe we can walk by the stables, see how Puddles is doing?" She offered, hoping to pet the favorite griffin would help.

"Y-yeah… I'd like that." Luz managed to crack a smile, trying to hide her distress, not wanting to worry her girlfriend more than she was already worried. Slowly, fighting the shakes of her body, Clawthorne managed to get up. Amity passed her the cane and they slowly made it downstairs. In the end, that was a good day.

Then there were bad days.

A few days before the sentence, at the break of dawn, Amity was woken up by a loud shriek coming from the bathroom across the hall from Luz's bedroom.

"Luz?!" Amity mumbled waking up and sitting up in the human's bed just to realize she was there alone. Another shriek made it to her twitchy ears and she finally got up, following the distressed voice. "Luz?" She knocked at the door "May I come in?" She waited patiently but could hear the distressed sobs from the other side of the door.

"Amityyyyy." She heard a whisper by her ear and was surprised to find Hooty staring at her.

"So you can whisper after all, huh?" She asked, surprised by his sudden change in behavior.

"I think you should go in…" He said enigmatically and the witch did not question him. She knew better than that by now.

"Get Eda. I'll do my best to help." She said and watched the Demon disappear. She then turned toward the bathroom door "Luz, I'm going in. You have three seconds to tell me not to." She informed her girlfriend and when there was no objection by the end of the third second she opened the door. She did not expect the sight that greeted her.

Luz was slouching on the bathroom floor with her back resting on the bathtub. Her right leg was curled up slightly, hands were shaking, holding her lower abdomen. Amity noticed a pained expression, lips parted with shallow, rasp gasps, and drops of cold sweat beading on the human's forehead. Her hazel-brown eyes were hollow, staring into the void while her scarred brow twitched in distress.

"D-d-don't…" Luz whispered in a higher pitch with panic seeping from her voice.

"Luz?" Amity whispered, kneeling by her girlfriend, trying to figure out how to help her.

Luz woke up in the middle of the night, feeling sick in her stomach. She slowly slipped from underneath the covers, leaving her cane by the nightstand, hoping to be as quiet as possible, not wanting to burden Amity with her issues. It was enough the witch was staying at the Owl House instead of arranging her new studio, spending time with her sister, and enjoying freedom. The human felt guilty knowing how much her state worried her girlfriend. Luz was grateful but felt like a burden every time she needed to be calmed down, brought back from a panic attack, clothed, fed or reminded about hydration.

She closed the bathroom door behind her and walked over to the sink. She washed her face with cold water, hoping her stomach would calm down. After a few calming breaths she managed to get herself under control. She took a few sips of cold tap water and then sat on the toilet.

"Great…" She murmured looking down at the toilet paper. "I wondered how late I'll be…" Luz sighed heavily, understanding her bad mood. She got up, cleaned herself up, and returned to the sink. She was drying her hands when a sudden cramp paralyzed her, forcing her right leg up. "Fuck!" Luz gasped and suddenly paled down. She looked at her reflection and noticed a flash of black-golden eyes. "No, no, no, no… It's not real, it's not…" She was trying to convince herself but a sudden memory flashed before her eyes, blinding her from her surroundings.

"Wake up, human." Odalia said sweetly when she entered the chamber she kept Luz in. Said human did not know if it was day or night. She had a hard time keeping track of times Blight left her alone just to return with new ideas to torment her.

"Five more minutes…" Luz smiled at Odalia's expression of disgust. "What? You don't like what you see?" The human teased with a maniacal grin, trying to regain a bit of confidence while she felt broken, hurt, exposed, half-naked…

"Oh, human…" Odalia whispered "I just did not expect you to start your cycle during our time together." Luz paled and looked down at her beat-down legs. A trickle of blood was slicking down, wetting her ripped trousers, painting her legs red. The witch's chuckle surprised her. "You humans are truly disgusting!" She cut her laughter and approached the metal trolley. "I guess that only makes sense that the abomination witch fancies you…" Luz's scoff surprised her.

"Wasn't Alador the abomination witch as well?" A metal rod connected with her stomach, making her gasp and growl in pain.

"Aren't you funny, human?" Odalia growled in anger. She hit Luz again and the menstrual blood squirted down. A powerful cramp took hold of the human's abdomen, making her legs curl up while she hung from the ceiling.

"Mmmmrrrrrr…" Luz tried to control her body but she failed miserably. All she wanted was to go home, curl in her bed with a sack of warm water Eda always prepared for her, and sleep it off with King in her bed. "Fuck!" A sudden tug on her ankles surprised her, straightening her legs, sending painful waves across her body.

"Oh, human. I can't let you get too comfortable, now can I?" Odalia hissed, correcting the hold on the rod. Luz forced herself to look down and realized that Blight summoned shackles, forcing her legs onto the floor, and hurting her contracting muscles. The witch walked over, rested her chin on the top of the rod, looked into the hazel-brown eyes, and smiled with sick satisfaction. "You truly are a disgusting animal, human." Odalia said with weird amusement and punched Luz in the stomach.

"D-d-don't…"

"Luz…" She heard a familiar voice "Can you hear me?"

"Luz, come back to me." Amity whispered, cupping the human's cheek, caressing it delicately. The hazel-brown eyes managed to focus and started roaming the bathroom. "That's progress…" The witch closely watched her girlfriend's reactions. "It's all right, Luz. You are safe." Amity whispered reassurance but Luz tried to crawl away.

"W-w-where…"

"It's okay, Luz. You're home. At the Owl House. You are safe here." The witch continued but the brunette seemed to be confused, still partially trapped in her nightmare memory. "Do you recognize me?" Amity asked and with that Luz's eyes looked into the golden ones, halting their frantic movements.

"A-Am… Amity? What are you… How…" The human was clearly confused "D-don't hurt me… P-p-please…" She begged and started crying, scared for her life. The look in her eyes, usually so full of life and joy, broke Amity's heart. She would have preferred Luz attacking her, fighting back but this… Whatever happened broke Luz.

"No, no, no, Luz… Nobody will hurt you. You are safe now." Amity assured her, trying hard not to cry. She placed her hands on the human's shoulders and rubbed delicately, trying to calm her down.

"I… J-just wanna go home…" Luz was sobbing uncontrollably, her tears rolled down her cheeks, eyes were changing color from brown to black while her breathing increased.

"It's okay, Luz… I will take you home." The witch's hands moved down and took hold of tan hands, still keeping a strong hold of the human's abdomen. Luz suddenly held her breath and looked into her girlfriend's eyes with hope, her lips quivered.

"Promise?" Amity's heart skipped a beat.

"I promise, Luz." She squeezed the human's hands and did her best to smile softly in a show of support "Come with me." She added and gestured to Luz to stand up. Slowly they managed to their feet. The brunette was slouching, clearly in physical as well as mental pain. Amity watched her girlfriend and realized that even though Luz was still partially trapped in her mind, she was following the witch's instructions, trusting her.

Slowly and very carefully, Amity walked Luz back to her bedroom where she tucked the hurt woman in bed. The lavender-haired witch was making sure the human was comfortable when she noticed Eda in the corridor gesturing for her to come over. Once Amity made sure Luz was calming down in the warmth and comfort of her bed, she quietly joined Eda in the corridor.

"What's wrong? I really don't want to leave her side now, Eda." Amity whispered with noticeable impatience. Clawthorne smiled warmly at that and handed the young woman a sack filled with warm liquid, confusing her.

"I inspected the bathroom after you left. It would seem she's got her period." Eda explained quickly "Sack with warm water, painkillers, and sleep always helped her through." She added and Amity accepted the sack. "I placed a spell on it so it won't turn cold. I just worry…"

"What exactly triggered her?" Amity finished the thought and Eda nodded. Blight sighed heavily and her sight traveled back to Luz's sleeping figure when she peeked into the bedroom. "I understand your worry… I really hope it was the pain… I don't even want to think what that psycho did to her…" The touch of Eda's hand on her shoulder surprised the young witch. She looked back at her girlfriend's mother and stared in slight shock.

"Don't think about it now. It won't change anything now." Eda spoke softly and Amity smiled a bit. Luz's quiet groan of pain got their attention.

Amity returned to the bedroom and helped her girlfriend relax despite the pain. The water sack worked wonders while the witch's embrace, caressing the brunette's hair, finished the job. Luz was asleep in no time.

The bad days were the hardest.

The longest week of their lives was finally over and Odalia's sentence was about to be announced that evening. Everybody was nervous but it was as clear as day that Luz and Amity had it the worst.

"I have a really bad feeling about this…" Luz murmured, sitting down, letting her cane next to her, and taking hold of Amity's hand.

"Calm down, Luz." Eda said from behind them "You had a rough week and this whole ordeal is a peak of Knee Stress." She said while she tried to support the women in the front row.

"Eda! Luz! Please! Please, stop… I just… please…" Young Blight suddenly snapped while she clenched her fists. Both Clawthornes looked at her, missing the point. They shared a look and looked back at the lavender-haired girl.

"You Clawthornes can be so dense…" Willow commented from behind. "Don't you get it? Amity is about to find out if her mother, her first bully, first abuser, her closest person, birth giver yet worst enemy will be petrified." She said and Amity balled the hem of her tunic with her fists. Both Eda and Luz looked down at the young witch and felt terrible. "Yeah, now you get it."

"Amity, I'm so sorry…" Luz started but her girlfriend interrupted her.

"It's okay Luz. I know she deserves it. She has done a lot of bad things in her life but still… It still hurts…" She explained but she could not continue. The Oracles came into the court and took their place. Within a few minutes, the Coven Scouts brought Odalia in. After her behavior the other day she was already cuffed in the shackles blocking her magic.

"How do you like the Blight Industry invention now…" Luz murmured angrily, recalling Odalia's words while Amity squeezed her hand in a show of support. Willow was right, this whole situation was challenging for Amity but she was all too aware of how difficult it must have been for people who were not used to the abuse from their earliest memory.

She felt guilty for dragging Clawthornes into her horror show but she was also grateful they helped her out. She looked up at her mother. She seemed tired but she was also confident, proud, keeping her head up. Amity did not like it. Maybe Luz was right to have a bad feeling about it. Last time the human had a bad feeling she was kidnapped. "Well, technically harpy-napped but still…" Amity thought and her brows frowned in suspicion.

"Jury has reached the verdict." The Oracle Coven Head said while he stood up, letting down his cowl. All the murmurs and whispers died down and the Coven Scout forced Odalia to stand up. Amity squeezed Luz's hand even more. "Odalia Blight, based on the careful analysis of your daughter's memories we find you guilty of physical abuse, guilty of child neglect, guilty of economical abuse, guilty of sexual abuse, and that is in regards only to your youngest child, Amity Blight." He said and turned the page of his notebook. Odalia was having a hard time hiding her anger which was slowly turning into fear. "In regards to Luz Clawthorne's memories we find you, Odalia Blight, guilty of kidnapping and torturing the human."

"Objection!" Odalia's representative, an older Plant witch, yelled out. "Based on the regulations of the Boiling Isles the human is a subspecies and does not have the same rights as witches!" She explained and Amity had a hard time not reacting to that statement, keeping her expression calm and contained. Eda, on the other hand, stood up and was about to start yelling at the attorney when one of the Jury took a stand. It was the Oracle teacher from Hexside.

"Those regulations are outdated and do not take into consideration that humans are too able to do magic." He stated and then looked at Luz with fondness. "I have been teaching Luz Clawthorne at Hexside School of Witchcraft and Demonics for over three years. Not only is she the first human to learn magic but also she was the first multitrack student and she managed to get the highest scores on all nine of her final exams. She may be a human but she's a more skilled witch than you'll ever be, Attorney Snapdragon." He finished and looked back at the witch representing Odalia. Luz blushed heavily, despite her distress, exposed in front of numerous people, and Amity felt pride at her girlfriend's accomplishments.

"Yeah, that's my Kid!" They heard Eda whispering loudly with pride, crossing her arms.

"Overruled! That means your objection is overruled and your client is guilty, Attorney Snapdragon." The Coven Head said and returned to his notebook and cleared his throat.

"This is it…" Willow whispered and placed a hand on Amity's shoulder while Eda did the same for Luz.

"However…" The Coven Head said and everyone froze, knowing what 'however' usually brought. "Everything before 'but' is irrelevant." Luz thought and felt her body going stiff. "Considering the positive impact the Blight Industries had on the society over the years we decided there will be no petrification."

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Willow lost her patience, standing up, hollering at the Jury. She shared a look with Lilith who then looked at Eda with a similarly outraged glare.

"Please, calm…"

"Don't you fucking dare to calm me down! Odalia had no positive impact on society. Those were the inventions of Alador Blight. Witness' father who was found murdered in his workshop!" Willow was not stopping, her eyes started glowing green while she clenched her fists in fury. "I knew it! I should have killed her!"

"Scouts! Calm Miss Park down!" The Coven Head ordered and within seconds Hunter was by her side. "Now if you don't mind…"

"It's all right, Willow…" Hunter offered her his support and decided to not leave her side unless it would be deemed necessary.

"Odalia Blight, you are hereby sentenced to death by electrocution." Sudden murmurs and whispers echoed throughout the courthouse while Amity, Luz, and others sat silently in shock. "The sentence is to be carried out immediately." The Coven Head stated and the Coven Scouts went forward to Odalia. The stage designed for the witness was taken apart and the electric chair was brought to the stage. Luz's mouth parted in shock when she noticed the Coven Head looking at her with warmth.

"Objection! This is too harsh a punishment!" Snapdragon opposed again but the Jury just stared at her with shock and amusement. The Hexside teacher stepped forward and glared angrily at the witch.

"Weren't Odalia fascinated with the human death weapons?" The teacher asked maliciously, the desire for vengeance visible on their face "The decision has been made, the arrangements are done." They said with a fierce voice and then looked at Luz with kindness in their eyes before going back to their bench. The whispers and murmurs erupted from the benches in the courthouse even further.

"Coven Scouts, please bring forward the defendant." The Coven Head said and sat down as well. The Scouts grabbed Odalia harshly and rushed her toward the execution stage.

"Last words!" Terra yelled out and unfortunately, Jury had to take it into account.

"Oh, this is a farce… Fine!" The Coven Head groaned "Amity Blight, please come forward." He said softly and then turned to the older Blight "Go ahead and let's get this over with." He said.

Amity felt Luz's palm getting sweaty in her hold. Her breath stopped for a few seconds and then she let go of her girlfriend's hand to grab her cane. They shared a look, nodded at each other, and stood up at the same time. "You're not doing it alone, Blight." Luz did as promised. They slowly made it to the middle stage and both looked down at the older Blight who was now being prepared for the electrocution by two masked Coven Scouts. Amity took a stand on the left side of Luz to have a hold of her hand. They looked down at the person who hurt them with emotionless expressions. Odalia on the other hand was smirking all the time. "What is she planning?" They both thought.

"Oh, Amity…" The older Blight said in a sickly sweet voice as if she had never done anything wrong. "Your life is like one of the Titan tales." Her daughter felt sick just by hearing her speak. "You do know I love you, right?" Odalia said and Luz could have noticed the conflicted feelings coursing through her girlfriend's body while a quiet growl escaped her lips. "Goodbye, Amity." She added with a full smile, showing off her fangs.

Suddenly, everyone could have sworn the time has stopped still. Amity glared at her birth-giver when felt a sudden push on her right side that made her fall to the floor and she noticed Odalia's face being sprayed with a red substance. Before she could have processed what had happened the young witch heard Luz's cane falling to the floor, echoing hollowly. She looked up at her girlfriend's body and noticed Clawthorne's chest being impaled with an icicle. Luz looked down at it in shock and chuckled in disbelief.

"Huh…" Luz smiled maniacally, showing off her silver-colored fang "Funny…" She added and a sad chirp followed. The ice broke, warmed up by the body and the human fell to her knees with a loud thud. Blood oozed from her full, quivering lips, she looked up and froze for a moment. Her mind flashed memories from the day she freed Amity, the last time she was impaled. Her hazel-brown eyes flickered with golden energy but they remained human.

"LUZ!" Voices from benches behind them raised up, followed by the sound of multiple footsteps. Eda with King, Lilith with Hooty, Gwen, Willow, and Emira with Viney made it to the execution stage. Hunter gathered his troops and raced after the assassin who was quickly apprehended. Meanwhile Amity… She froze, watching how life was slowly escaping the body of the love of her life. "Why… Why is she always taking away people who REALLY care about me?!" Her mind offered but she could not think of anything else. Amity could only feel anger, confusion, and magic seeping from her body. Luz looked down at her little brother who just made it with Eda to her side.

"Hey, King…" She said with her dorkiest smile that everyone loved and missed so much, her teeth painted red "I guess… I'm toast." She said with a chuckle and King started sobbing. He could not respond to that while his golden-red eyes were tearing down.

"It's all right, we'll help." Emira's voice was calm and stern, she placed her hand on King's furry shoulder in support while Viney helped Luz down to secure her wound.

"You…" Amity growled in a weird reverberating voice when she slowly managed to stand up, she was shaking uncontrollably, encircled with a gust of magic swirling around her body, and her irises glowed in greenish color while her whites started turning darker until they finally were pitch black like the eyes of abomination. "I've had enough of YOU!" She hollered, taking a step forward while the magic aura flew up her body, pulsating along with the witch's heartbeat, in a threatening manner. Abomination goo crept from between the floorboards of the scene, surrounding her and slowly engulfing her whole body, making her tower above everyone while her own body seemed to disintegrate and merge with the fluid. Her right arm has elongated into a sharp sword-like spike, she rose above the stage with the slime's assistance, and her whole body became an abomination with green glowing eyes and Amity's features. The young Blight glared with hate and desire to kill her… mother.

"Ooooh… she's toast too…" Luz managed to whisper with amusement, hiding fear behind the humor. She did not see how everyone surrounding her looked at Amity. While Luz was watching her girlfriend with pride, love, support, and awe, everyone else was scared of the young witch. There have been only a handful of abomination witches who were able to merge with the sludge but Luz did not know that. She had no idea how scary-powerful her girlfriend was.

"I've had enough!" Amity yelled in a deep voice "You have been controlling me, abusing me, killing everyone I care about or making them disappear! Like Edric, like Dad, like AUGUSTUS!" That last remark made Willow cover her mouth in shock. "I'll make sure you'll never hurt Luz, or anyone else ever again!" She screamed frantically and her spike-like hand shone with greenish light when Amity slimed over to her mother with an incredible speed. She grabbed her by the stomach, reaping her out of the chair's restraints, and looked into her cold pale blue eyes with all fury she held in all those years. Young Blight squinted and forced the slime to start entering Odalia's body through her skin. The older witch whimpered in pain, feeling the thick liquid stretching her pores, and entering her system until the purple slime trickled down from her eyes. No one dared to stop Amity. No one was brave enough. Everyone stood still and watched.

"You really want to kill your mother, Amity?" Odalia asked, a smile never leaving her lips, mocking her daughter, despite the paralyzing fear "You are no mother…" A pained scream made it to Amity's sensitive ears, interrupting her thoughts.

"You're better than her, my Love…" She heard Luz's whisper followed by a grunt of pain. Amity blinked rapidly, realizing what she was doing. Within moments, she removed the slime, and let go of Odalia, throwing her to the floor like a puppet she wanted her daughter to be.

"You're not worth it…"

"Pathetic!" Odalia barked, interrupting Amity "You are no daughter of mine!" Young Blight looked at the pathetic figure that used to scare and intimidate her so much "I made you! I gave you life and you will obey me, you pathetic excuse for a witch! Fornicating with an animal…" A sudden abomination grasp on her throat silenced her. "Give'em a whack right in the face, Boots." Amity recalled Eda's supportive speech then took a deep calming breath, and looked down at her birthgiver with glowing eyes.

"Death is too merciful for you, Odalia." The young witch hissed with venom and looked at the Oracle Coven Head. He in return nodded in agreement, knowing what to do. Amity faced her mother again and was tempted to squeeze the pale throat, making the older witch pay for everything she has done. "No! You're not like her!" She thought and with another deep breath she calmed herself down, letting the abomination slime off her mother's body, even though she wanted to end her life so very much "You're dead to me." Amity said and the coldness of her voice could have pierced her mother's chest "Take her away!" She gave an order to the closest Coven Scout, who gulped heavily, obeying without a second of hesitation. No one argued with her. "And I thought Odalia's scary…" Lilith thought while she did not say anything about ordering her soldiers around.

"Boots?" Eda asked in a whisper filled with worry when the young witch approached everyone gathered around Luz. "Are you feeling…"

"I'll be okay, Eda." Amity said with a surprisingly cold voice "But thank you. For everything." She looked up at the older witch. "Thank you for being a mother I never had." Youngest Blight added softly and hovered above the human, prepared on the gurney. "Luz?" She asked with comfort in her voice, surprising everyone with a quick change of her behavior, and got a hold of the tan hand. It was cold. Too cold in the witch's opinion. The hazel-brown eyes locked with the golden ones.

"Hey, Amity…" She whispered in a shivering voice. The witch caressed her girlfriend's cheek and the human leaned into the calming touch. "Love those cold hands…" Luz whispered, closing her eyes.

"Em?" Amity asked with worry in her voice.

"Nothing she can't handle, Sis." Emira said, breaking her focus a bit, looking at her sister.

"Nothing she hasn't been through, Amity. Everything will be fine, it went clean through, don't worry." Viney confirmed and Amity felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and noticed Eda's look of support.

Odalia's scream made it to their ears when the Scouts dragged her away but it did not matter. They had themselves. It was all they cared about. All Amity cared about was that Luz was safe and the other way around. The human squeezed the witch's hand and smiled.

"Don't worry…" She looked up from half-lidded eyes with a weak smile. "I'll see you later…" She added feeling her consciousness slipping away. "I… love…" She tried to say but the blood loss and pain interrupted her confession.

"Luz!" Amity leaned forward cupping her face a tad harder.

"Don't worry, Sis." Emira repeated in a calming manner "It's okay. She'll be fine." She said and looked up into her sister's eyes "You'll both be fine now." She added and smiled faintly and they continued to patch the human up.

When Luz started to regain her consciousness she realized her chest was pulsating with dull pain. She groaned, trying to regain control over her sore body, and finally managed to move her hand toward her diaphragm. The rough material of the bandages let her know she was safe. At least she was patched up. The sound of voices made it to her ears. After a while she finally managed to open her eyes and her pupils immediately shrank down in response to the bright light. She blinked a few times and realized she was back at the Clinic's recovery room. Though it was a different room than before. The sun was engulfing everything in warm light. Luz smiled a bit. "It's over…" She thought and heard a silent, yet supportive hoot in her head. Her smile faded when she realized Amity was not here with her as she usually was. She sat up slowly, and grabbed a robe and her cane that was prepared for her. Another hoot echoed in her head. "I have to make sure she's fine." She explained while slowly, yet steadily kept walking toward Emira and Viney's living quarters, hoping to find her girlfriend there. The Healing staff ignored her while she walked by the corridor and finally made it to the stairs leading to her destination.

"Well, I don't want to talk to him!" Amity's voice sounded irritated.

"Come on, Sis. You should at least consider his tutelage." Emira pleaded while Luz slowly sneaked into the living room where she noticed two Blight sisters arguing about something. Amity's hands were tied on her chest while Emira gestured energetically, clearly frustrated.

"Can I have like one week of normalcy? Go back to school, take Luz on a date, and not worry about death threats, tortures, magical anomalies, trauma, murder, and stuff?!" Amity exclaimed, throwing her hands in front of her. Emira groaned in defeat, letting her hands down, understanding her sister's point of view. Nonetheless, she was still worried.

"Amity…" Older Blight was suddenly interrupted.

"I'm totally on board with that date thing." Luz said, smiling brightly through the pain, showing off her silver fang. Both Blights were shocked to see the human out of her bed and away from the Clinic's recovery floor.

"Luz!" Amity exclaimed and immediately threw herself at her girlfriend with a tight hug. The human groaned, hurt by the affection but she was not about to complain.

"I missed you too." The human whispered into the witch's ear, returning the loving embrace.

"Why are you… How are you…" Emira was once again interrupted. A loud stomping sound was heard from the staircase, approaching the living room.

"Luz's missing!" Viney yelled when she made it through the door. She stared at the young couple in shock, noticing her patient.

"Found her." Amity said with a smile and Luz chuckled at that. Viney frowned her brows and angrily walked toward the couple.

"Luz, you shouldn't be out of bed! I'm not even sure how you got out of bed, really." The brunette Healer said angrily.

"I just wanted to find Amity…"

"Well, you found her. Can you please go back to the recovery room? Now! I really need to check your very fresh wound." Viney said and Luz hung her head in defeat.

"Go ahead." Amity encouraged her girlfriend "I'll be with you shortly."

Luz winced when Viney removed her bandages. The brunette Healer frowned, tying her brows, and shot her patient an angry look.

"What?!" Luz asked innocently, not understanding her friend's expression.

"Of course, you overdid it, Clawthorne. You always do. If you wouldn't be my patient I'd smack the shit out of you." Viney said, presenting the blood-soaked bandages.

"I'm sorry, I just…"

"Missed Amity," The Healer mocked. "Yeah, I know." Viney rolled her eyes. "You'd kill yourself over her…"

"You know it!" Luz sent her finger guns and clicked her tongue.

"Not that I blame you." Viney sighed "You had it crazy for the past few months…" She looked up to her friend's eyes "Just please, take it easy now, okay?"

"Can't promise anything. You know me." Luz laughed and then winced in pain as Viney applied healing ointment to her wound. "Ouch, you did that on purpose."

"Noooo, meeee?" Viney said with fake innocence and slapped the wound with a Healing Glyph, making Luz gasp for air. "I'd never hurt my stubborn patient on purpose!" She said with a wicked smile.

"Mmmm!" Luz groaned in pain, wincing "I respect your cunning but I also hate you for it." She said, looking at Viney's wicked smile when the Healer stood up.

"Any time, Clawthorne. Just feel better." She said and returned to her duties leaving Luz alone with a pulsating pain in her chest. Said human groaned a bit again and replayed the execution attempt in her head.

One moment she was there supporting her girlfriend, the next moment she thought she was about to die, pierced with an icicle. Seeing her girlfriend all gooey and abomination-ey sent a chill down her spine but she felt… Flattered? "Dang, she's powerful…" Luz let her head lay on her pillow, feeling the Healing Glyphs working on her body. It was not long before she felt her smiling expression fade and fell asleep.

Just as she was standing in front of her abuser, watching her being prepared for the electrocution, something shining caught her eye. A sudden hoot echoed in her head, and the human could have sworn her body moved on her own, pushing the lavender-haired witch aside. An unexpected, cold sensation paralyzed her in the mid-step. Luz looked down to the source of pain and noticed a large ice spike sticking out of her chest, piercing her diaphragm while her mind raced a hundred miles an hour. "How… Why…" Her mind went blank when she looked down at her girlfriend who looked up at her with shock and fear for her. "It was meant for her heart… If I wouldn't push her away…" The human fell to her knees.

"Funny…" Luz said, chuckling. "Our height difference let me save her…" The thought, smiling but struggling to take a deeper breath. The coldness of the ice was spreading across her body but at least it was blocking the bleeding.

Everything was slowing down in her mind. She noticed King with a worried expression standing next to her along with the rest of her family. Luz thought she said something but was not entirely sure what. It shocked her to notice how her girlfriend was engulfed in an abomination. She watched Amity take hold of her mother in an act of righteous anger. Strangely, unlike the rest of her companions, it did not scare Luz.

Odalia's scream made it to the human's ears, reminding her of the torture she endured. The pain in her chest. Amity's golden eyes looking down at her with fear for her and care were the last thing she recalled. The smile on the human's face triggered her maniacal chuckle. She had no idea if anyone could hear her but she could have sworn that she heard Odalia growling with anger while the older Blight was hitting the human body hanging from the ceiling. The memories from the catacombs flashed before her.

"Luz…" She heard a voice ringing around her massacred body.

"Luz…"

"Luz…" A voice made it to her ears and her hazel-brown eyes opened slowly. She was not sure if she was still in the cell, the Clinic, her home or just in the middle of a dusty field, mauling everyone she knew. She was only certain that her body ached. The human blinked a few times and her eyes roamed the room to understand where she was. A feel of a chilly palm on her face helped her come to her senses. A pair of golden eyes shone brightly with happiness.

"Amity…" Luz whispered and the witch smiled brightly showing off her fangs.

"Hey, Luz." The Amity said with a soft voice "How are you feeling?" The human just groaned, frowned her brows, and squeezed her eyes shut in pain while she tried to move up.

"I may have overdone it." Luz admitted "Don't tell Viney she was right." She added and was surprised to hear her girlfriend chuckle. The human opened her eyes again and noticed how Amity was… Bright. "Is she really that relieved that her abuser's… Yeah, dumbass… She is finally safe!" Luz thought, angry she did not understand her girlfriend's emotions.

"I'm just glad you are safe…" The witch said and placed her hand on her girlfriend's bigger one.

"Do you want to tell me what that was all about?" Luz asked about the argument she witnessed earlier. Amity rolled her eyes and sighed deeply.

"Emira is worried about what happened… She's worried about the way I…"

"Slimed out?" Luz assisted with a proper label.

"Yeah… Good expression, though." Amity said not knowing how to deal with her emotions. "Anyway she wants me to meet with the Abomination Coven Head who's apparently the only other witch capable of that…" The human crooked her head in surprise.

"And why would that be bad?" Luz asked, not really understanding. She felt Amity's hand squeezing her palm in a nervous tic.

"Let's just say that I just got out of one person molding me into their image…" The witch explained and Luz facepalmed herself to her girlfriend's surprise.

"Titan! Amity, I'm so sorry! I did not connect the dots!" Clawthorne said, hoping for forgiveness. "Everything was so crazy I did not even think about it that way."

"It's okay Luz. You have enough on your mind." Amity said and squeezed her hand again, this time in support "Like saving me again." She added with a smile and a long silence occurred.

"So…" Luz smiled mischievously at the witch "About that date." She wiggled her eyebrow and Amity snorted.

"You're such a dork."

"Your dork!" Luz confirmed and they leaned toward each other. "But if you want to kiss me you need to come closer because I can't move any further than that." The human explained, pointing at her chest, and Amity leaned in further with a small chuckle. Their lips met in a long longed kiss. "Finally…" They both thought and Luz's hands slowly traveled to the witch's back while she delicately moaned into the kiss.

"Don't get too excited, Luz." Amity purred, smiling "You need to heal." She said in a low voice while letting her hand caress the human's waist, enjoying the tremble she caused.

"You're such a tease." Luz whispered with a heated voice and looked into her girlfriend's eyes, tone darker than they were a moment ago. Amity was about to say something in return but they were interrupted by Eda and Lilith's appearance. Young Blight sat back in her chair a bit too quickly and Luz smiled widely, noticing her mother and aunt. "Hey, guys!"

"Oh…" Eda grinned wickedly, noticing Amity's embarrassed reaction "Good to see you feeling better. Boots helped, I presume?" She winked at the young witch loving how easy it was to fluster her.

"How are you feeling, Luz?" Lilith asked, looking at the bandages on the human's chest.

"All is good, don't worry. It's nothing I haven't been through before. Just chill, please." She said with a weak smile. "Where's Hooty?" She asked, noticing that the demon was not with his best friend.

"Oh, I asked him to help around the precinct. He's to keep Odalia company until her banishment will be processed." The red-headed Coven Head explained "I almost feel sorry for her…" She thought and then continued "Then he is to prepare the house for your return." Lilith added while she shared a smile with Eda.

"Yeah…" Eda confirmed. "I guess, your living arrangements will need to be sorted out, what do you think guys?" She was more asking Amity than Luz. Young Blight smiled and nodded.

"It's about time I move the rest of my belongings from the Manor to the loft upstairs." Amity then turned toward Luz and squeezed her hand. "I hope you don't mind… but I'd really love to live with Emira and Viney." She said and was shocked by Luz's reaction. She smiled widely with tears in her eyes.

"Amity…" The human started "I wouldn't have it any other way." She planted a kiss on a pale hand "Besides the fact that you need your own space, do you really think those two are ready to get rid of me?" She said mockingly trying to hide her guilt, thinking how Amity stayed with her, sacrificing her own comfort.

"Ey!" Eda opposed but everyone else laughed and Lilith embraced her sister with one arm in support.

"We all need to adjust to the new reality and we can go forward from there. What do you say?" Luz proposed to her girlfriend and she loved that idea. "One day at a time?"

"One day at a time, Luz." Amity agreed with a warm smile.

In the next few days, Luz was released from the Clinic and finally made it back home. Back to the Owl House. No more running between Gwen's home, the Clinic, the Manor… She was finally back. Body and mind. King and Hooty were so happy to see the human living back in what they considered her rightful place. With Odalia out of the picture, the Healing sessions were bringing desired effects, helping Luz process everything that happened. She has not had a bad day since.

Knowing Odalia was banished to live out her life in shame, never to be seen again, helped with Luz's leg phantom pain and further recovery. Knowing Boscha was sentenced to a few months in prison and social work made it even better. The fact that her permanent record was tainted and she would never play professional Grudby was a cherry on top of the vengeance dessert. Scratch that. The fact that Willow was interning at the Conformatorium and was assigned to guard Boscha was a cherry on top. In the meantime, Skara was promoted to be the Grudby Team captain in the next semester since Amity declined the offer.

The human was so happy to be back she was so energized she actually cleaned her room. Though Eda thought it might have had something to do with the fact that Amity was often coming over without any announcement since Luz was not able to have a Penstagram scroll and the young Blight hated crow phones and crystal balls. "And that would be just weird if Amity would message Eda that she's coming over." Luz thought so after an initial discussion about it, they promised to never speak of it again. Ever.

As for Amity, she finally moved to the loft above the Clinic. The apartment was amazing considering it had an enormous balcony which Luz used to harpy-sneak in to visit her girlfriend. However, she did it only when Amity asked her to do so. Considering the situation Luz still did not want to bother her girlfriend. The human kept it in her mind that the witch's mother attempted to murder her just a few days ago. Especially, since Amity was still too anxious to go back to the Manor to fetch her belongings. It seemed like something she was putting off for way too long. There was something that scared her in that place. No one blamed her and no one pushed her. This whole situation was stressful enough and Amity was already known as a person who had trouble with handling and confronting her emotions.

Emira stopped nagging her about meeting the Abomination Coven Head in regards to her newly discovered abilities but Amity could have sworn her own sister was scared of her since the electrocution attempt. She was just glad Luz was not. On the contrary. She noticed Luz stopped being so overprotective. As if she finally realized that Amity was not only a strong person but also a powerful witch who can handle more than anyone else. And she loved it.

Unfortunately, not everything was going smoothly for the young couple. Their absence at the Academy was causing them significant trouble. They needed to study day and night now to even have a chance of passing the exams and graduating the next semester. Amity was stressed about it as she has never had a grade lower than A but Luz was bouncing off the walls, literally freaking out.

Amity had one major - Abominations. Luz on the other hand had three. While Willow helped her catch up with Plant magic and Viney offered to help with Beast Keeping, the human was certain she would fail Potions. They had one month to study before their summer exam session. "This is going to be so much worse than Scabuary…" Luz thought, tapping her pen on her potion textbook while she studied in the middle of the night. She groaned in frustration and frowned when she noticed how the letters got blurry for a moment. Except for studying for theory on proportions of specific ingredients in specific potions she also had to prepare a Scrying Potion as proof of her abilities. She was already panicking and her body was not helping her by getting tired too quickly. "Hoot…" An Owl's voice seemed to urge her to go to sleep but Luz just slapped her face and returned to taking notes.

"No time for sleep! We slept for almost a month in the Clinic!" Luz exclaimed, got up from her study desk, and jumped a bit in her room to get some adrenaline in her system. Little did she know that Eda, extremely worried about her daughter, was listening in from behind the door.

"Eda?" King whispered worried about his sister as well.

"Drastic times call for drastic measures, King." The Owl Lady said mysteriously, summoning her scroll. "Oh, I just hope I won't regret it." She murmured, walking downstairs, King following her quickly.

"What did you do?" He asked, wondering what drastic measures the witch had in mind.

"Pack yourselves. We'll be staying at Lilith's tonight." She said addressing both King and Hooty who obeyed without any question. Not even ten minutes have passed when the doors to the Owl House flew open with a thud. A golden-eyed, lavender-haired witch with a very tired expression, and twitchy ears, wearing an oversized shirt stood in front of them.

"How long has she been like this?" Amity asked in a very grumpy voice. She hated being woken up, especially in the middle of the night, but there was nothing she would not do for her girlfriend.

"About a week I guess… But I'm almost certain the last time she slept was about two or three days ago. It's not like I'm constantly watching her." Eda said, trying to hide her relief and gratitude that Amity responded to her plea for help. The young witch groaned with frustration, rubbing her face.

"Why would she ask me to help her with her schedule if she ignores the sleep blocks I planned?" She massaged her temples and finally noticed that Eda, King, and Hooty were packed. "Are you going somewhere?"

"Yeah." Eda confirmed sheepishly "We're going out for the night. And most likely the whole tomorrow." Amity looked at her with parted lips and confusion on her face. "Just so you can use 'any means necessary'..." She used air quotes. "To get Luz to sleep." She added and winked. Amity closed her mouth with teeth snapping, immediately understanding what Eda was insinuating, and she responded with the brightest tomato blush Eda had seen on the Blight's face. "I see you understand what I have in mind. Let's never speak of it again!" She said hushing King toward the door "Byeeeeee!" She yelled from her staff as she flew away into the night. "Well, it takes two to dance, Eda…" Amity thought when she considered Clawthorne's idea. The chill ran down her spine, making her ball the hem of her shirt with her fists when she started to really consider that idea.

"No sleeping, focus!" Amity's dirty thoughts were interrupted when she heard Luz's voice coming from her bedroom. The witch rolled her eyes and followed the voice. "While brewing a Leadfoot Potion during the half-moon the ratio of Blackroot Quills to Iron Ash is… Come on! You just wrote it down!" Luz growled at herself and a hoot echoed through the room "No helpsies! It's two to one mix during the waxing moon and four to one during the waning moon… In your Owl face!" She said and did not even check her answer. She moved to the next card, not noticing her girlfriend standing by the door frame, leaning, and watching the human pace, limping slightly, around the room while she went through the memory cards. "Okay, what's next? Blabber Serum!" She looked at the card and pulled out some feathers that popped from her neck, ignoring her stressed state. "Time to interfere…" Amity felt that was enough.

"Luz?" The witch spoke up to make her presence known to her girlfriend, making Luz scream and jump in surprise. A bunch of new feathers appeared on her body with a delicate poof.

"Amity? What are you doing here?" The human asked and Amity could not believe her eyes. Luz was pale, malnourished, the black circles underlined her eyes, and in general, she looked like she was on the verge of collapse.

"Little birdie told me you ignored the study plan I made for you." Amity said, approaching her girlfriend. Luz looked at the witch with confusion "Eda messaged me, Luz." She explained. "Please, take a break." Amity asked but Luz took a step toward her desk.

"I can't, Amity!" She exclaimed stressed out "I still need to go through those two tomes of potions and these…" The witch approached the human and stood dangerously close. "W-what are you doing?" Luz asked, realizing how close Amity was. The human's heart rate increased when she smelled the witch's sweet scent.

"You know how stubborn I am, Luz." Amity said, took the memory cards away from Luz's hand, and put them on the desk. The human gulped, noticing mischief in the golden eyes. "I will get you to sleep one way or another. If you don't rest none of this will matter." She gestured to Luz's notes "Your mind will not retain any of the information." She took another step forward and Luz had nowhere to run anymore, blocked by the desk.

"But…" The human tried to oppose.

"Good study session needs some time to relax, you know?" Amity added, placing her right hand on Luz's shoulder. The human's eyes roamed her girlfriend's face as if she was uncertain of what she should do.

"I worry…"

"About this?" Amity asked, retrieving a few feathers from Luz's neck, and letting them fall on the floor. The human nodded in confirmation. "Time to stop worrying about it, okay? We can work with that." The witch's hand returned to the tan neck and traveled up to the scalp, taking hold of soft curly hair while her left hand pulled Luz's shirt in, tugging the human closer, they could feel their bodies pressing against each other. Their breathing quickened and soon their lips were hovering so close to each other, almost touching. The tension was tortuous. "Do you want this?" The witch had to make sure and the vigorous nodding was the only reply she received "Then please… don't hold back, Luz…" Amity whispered in a heated voice and the human moaned as just the sound of the witch's voice sent painful chills down her spine and to her loins.

"It's been too long…" Luz said quietly, placed her hand on the pale cheek, and pulled the witch in, closing the remaining gap. Their lips finally connected, clearing their minds of any thoughts or worries. After a short moment, they pulled barely an inch away and shared a hesitant look. Then they kissed again with more vigor, the pleasure the action sent to their brains was overwhelming and soon they started to devour others' lips. Once their tongues have met in the first hesitant touch, they have moaned and mewled to the feeling. "Titan, how I've missed this…" Luz in her impatience started pushing Amity toward the opposite wall while she discarded her own shirt revealing no bra and all the new scars she gained in the past few months. Amity was not holding back as well, helping her girlfriend to discard her purple oversized shirt. The witch gasped in surprise when her back was impacted by the wall. "I'm sorry!" Luz pulled back to check on Amity. The witch let out a low purr, her eyes clouded with animalistic lust.

"Don't be." She replied with a fanged grin of satisfaction and turned Luz toward the wall, pinning her, and assaulting the breasts she longed for so long. "Tell me if I'm too rough." She added and sucked the hardened nipple, Luz almost screamed in pleasure. "I don't want to hurt you…" The witch nibbled the breasts with her fangs, giving a new scar on the human's chest a long lick while she worked on her girlfriend's shorts. It was not long when Amity's hand made it in between the lean tights. "Oh, Luz…" She moaned, realizing how wet and ready her girlfriend already was for her. The witch looked up at the human's face, Luz closed her eyes and cried out in pleasure when she felt her girlfriend's hand finding its way to her swollen, sensitive clit.

"Please!" She moaned when Amity stroked her bundle of nerves once again. The tan hips bucked up, searching for more, needing more. "Y-y-yesss…" The witch loved the view of her strong girlfriend, melting to her touch. A scratching sound distracted Amity and she noticed that Luz's hands had talons on the owl-like claws, marking the wall behind her. She did not mind. She reveled in the realization she was making her girlfriend lose control.

"'Please' what, Luz?" The witch almost growled in heat into the round ear and she licked it. "What do you want me to do, Luz?" She asked again, feeling unspeakable satisfaction when she felt a tremble underneath.

"Please fuck me, Amity!" Luz said in a demanding tone, finally opening her eyes, and looked down, noticing widely blown pupils in the golden eyes filled with desire. Amity purred when she looked up into the black eyes with golden irises. The view made her stop her ministrations. "You are right, I need a break. I need you to fuck me hard, I need you to take me however you please, just please…" She leaned in and slowly licked the spiky earlobe, enjoying the moan escaping the witch's lips "Don't you dare to stop… Aaaaaagh! YES!" She stopped, feeling Amity's three fingers entered her with ease, spreading her deliciously, sending wave after wave of pleasure "Yes! Ah!" She let out a high-pitched moan while the witch pulled out and pushed in again, curling her fingers, hitting all the right spots. Luz's head lolled back while she moaned loudly, her hips bucked forward on instinct. Once she got used to the feeling she wanted to touch Amity as well but the witch drew a spell circle and an abomination slime pinned her hand to a wall, surprising the human. The witch felt a sudden squeeze around her fingers.

"You like that, don't you?" Amity asked with a fanged smile and Luz could have sworn she had seen the green glow in her golden eyes. The human nodded and tried to caress her girlfriend's cheek, finally realizing her hands transformed.

"Shit!" She panicked and pulled away. Amity quickly but carefully retracted her fingers and forced the human's face to look at her.

"Luz, calm down. Everything is alright." The witch said calmly, seeing her girlfriend's distressed expression. "Do you trust me?" Luz nodded with visible hesitation "Then calm down and let me help you relax." The witch said with a wicked smile, letting the human know, she was plotting something. The witch drew a spell circle that removed the remaining clothes and Luz's gasp of surprise sent a satisfying chills down her spine. A pale hand grabbed the human's neck and she pulled her into a deep, heated kiss. Luz slowly started relaxing again, leaning into the touch. "Do you want me to continue?" She needed to make sure, keeping in mind that Luz has been through so much since the last time they were intimate.

In all honesty, so much has changed, Amity could have sworn it felt like their first time. Yet, she had no time to explore the tan body, learn every new mark, and make sure her girlfriend felt beautiful just the way she was. This time she was on a mission, driven by lowering levels of Luz's energy and her own carnal desire.

When the human nodded and moaned in agreement. Amity drew another spell circle and the abomination slime moved them toward the bed, placing Luz on her back. The witch removed the abomination and leaned toward her girlfriend's chest, slowly kissing, licking, and sucking every inch of the tan body.

"Please, don't…" Luz whispered, surprising her girlfriend "I'm not…" She looked away, embarrassed.

"Luz…" Amity moved up and hovered above the human's face, brushing a strand of hair "You're beautiful." She said and kissed the tan cheek "And pretty." She placed another peck on the neck "And handsome." She nibbled the round ear "And gorgeous." She continued her assault and then looked at Luz, enjoying the sight of her face engulfed in pleasure. "If you want me to stop at any time do not hesitate to tell me, okay?"

"Okay…" Amity took hold of Luz's feathery hand and kissed the palm. Luz was confused but she felt so loved and wanted. "How can she want me so… broken?" Her intrusive thoughts offered when they intertwined their fingers. It was such a weird and frightening feeling - the concept of unconditional love was still foreign to either of them.

The deformed hand was so much bigger but Amity liked the smooth touch of feathers. She kissed the palm up the forehand where there were no more feathers and up to the human's shoulder, nibbing the smooth skin. The witch placed the human's hand above her head, never letting go. She used her right hand to travel down again and find a heated core. Luz almost screamed, arching her back up, when she felt cold fingers on her oversensitive clit once again. Golden irises shone brightly in the black eyes while they looked up at the witch with desire.

"Do you trust me?" Amity asked again, stopping her ministrations, scared to hurt her girlfriend.

"With my life." Luz responded and moaned, falling further into pleasure. "Please, I need you… Amity! More!" She added and that did it for Amity. "Okay, you can do it, Blight!" She thought, removed her hand from Luz's body to the human's surprise, and drew another spell circle, focusing hard on the spell. Within mere seconds an abomination slime crept into her loins, taking the shape of a purple, dildo-like shaft. The last of the slime sneaked into the witch's body, settling by her G-spot, sending jolts of pleasure. Luz could not believe her eyes but she nodded eagerly, spreading her legs wider, when noticed Amity's hesitation.

"Tell me if you want me to stop at any time." The witch repeated in a whisper, kissed the full lips of her girlfriend, and slowly aligned her member with her girlfriend's entrance. The spell she mastered made Blight feel everything. It took all of her self-control to not just slam in a slick-dripping cunt. "Oh, she doesn't need any lube…" Amity thought and with Clawthorne's comfort in mind, she took her time, slowly entering and going out, letting Luz adjust to the feeling, letting her get used to the stretch before going deeper in.

"F-f-fuck! Y-yes!" The human screamed and writhed underneath the pale body when Amity finally filled her in fully and their pelvises met. The witch trembled and watched her girlfriend hesitantly. When the human nodded in encouragement, Blight slowly moved out and pushed in again.

"L-Luz!" Amity cried out, shivering, feeling the pleasure spreading across her whole body. "It works better than I imagined!"

"D-do you…?" Luz tried to ask. Amity lowered herself, supporting her body on her forearms and knees, kissing her girlfriend with passion.

"I feel… Everything…" She whispered in a heated voice "And you are so deliciously tight." Amity added, trying to control her urges, and slowly made a decent rhythm, pleasuring Luz.

She closed her golden eyes for a moment and when she opened them again she was surprised to see Luz's tooth had grown into a sharp fang. For some reason it turned on Amity even more, bringing out her primal instincts that were so very hard to control. Her rhythm became faster, wilder as if all the emotions and desires she was holding in for years finally were set free.

"D-don't! Don't stop!" Luz growled and the witch could have sworn that her mind was floating. The human tied her legs behind Blight's lower back, pulling her in closer with her heels, kissing her neck, leaving a long lick on her pointy earlobe, sending the witch's desire-driven brain to an overload.

"Yes! Luz! F-fuck! Don't hold back!" Amity yelled, feeling approaching orgasm, taking hold of her girlfriend's hair with one hand and shoulder with another, keeping her in place to enter her as deep as possible. The human could not control herself as well, she needed the witch closer, harder. "MORE!" She grabbed the pale back, forgetting for a moment about her talons. The pain spread across the witch's body but she did not care nor mind at that moment.

"A-Amity… I-I'm…" She was delirious.

"Yes! Luz! Come with me! Don't hold back!" Amity yelled, unable to delay her orgasm any longer. With each next thrust her edge was approaching. "With me?" Echoed in Luz's mind and that did it for her. Her walls tightened around Amity's abomination, clenching hard, and the orgasm flowed, causing her to scream out in pleasure. The witch was not far behind. "Y-yes! L-Luz! YES! I'm… I'm g-gonna-" She screamed, moving her loins frantically, when the tension in her abdomen snapped, letting her reach the peak. Amity curled, shook, and moaned in a low voice, riding out her orgasm, shaking hard, holding Luz's hair tighter, exposing her neck, wanting to bite in but resisting the urge. She could feel the spasms of Luz's body and if she did not realize her sex-starved girlfriend was reaching her edge again her lips were not hiding it.

"A-Am… P-lease!" She writhed underneath "Don't stop! Fuck! Fuck more! Aaaaaaaaa!" The human was not able to hold back. She came again, closing her black-gold eyes, throwing her head back, arching her spine, and baring fangs.

Amity was not about to stop until the love of her life was satisfied. She kept on going, motivated by the feeling of her high approaching again. The witch could not stop herself and since Luz did not ask her to cease the movements, Amity closed her eyes in pleasure and kept going. The touch of feathery palms cradling her face made her open eyes again and look into the human's black-golden ones. Luz nodded in approval, her need growing once again, and she pulled the witch in for a deep kiss, caressing the pointy earlobes with her long, smooth, feathered thumbs. Their rough actions were lined with gentle feelings creating a perfect equilibrium they both yearned for so long.

"Titan!" Amity yelled, closing her eyes again, breathing heavily. Luz adored the sight of the witch's fangs peeking out from underneath her pink lips parted in pleasure. "AAH-A!" She cried out and realized she was being pulled in closer. Amity placed her lips on Luz's neck, falling deeper into the ecstasy of her ears being taken care of while she kept rolling her hips into the human. The urge to renew the bite was overwhelming but with the last ounce of self-control, she kept her fangs to herself.

"A-Amity!" Luz whispered in pleasure directly into the witch's sensitive earlobe, she kept on caressing. "Yes! Fuck me hard! Just like that!" Her words sent chills to the Blight's core, causing her to whimper and moan "AH! You feel so… AA! So good!" She added, encouraged by Amity's reactions who moaned wildly into her neck. "You fill me out so… AH!"

"L-LUZ! Mmmmm…" The witch's mind was floating, unaware of her surroundings, the feeling of feathery touch on her ears made her drunk with pleasure, while the pressure in her core was ready to snap. She dug her black nails into her girlfriend's shoulders and increased her speed, taken over by her instincts.

"Y-YES! M-more!" Luz gasped loudly, feeling her edge approaching again. Amity mewled, feeling smooth, slick walls clenching around the abomination extension of her clit. "MORE!" Luz yelled, pulling in the witch, never letting go of her ears, chasing her high "YES! A-AM-GONNA-AM-"

"A-A-L-Luz! FUCK!" The tension in Amity's abdomen shuttered to a million pieces, sending her into a powerful orgasm at the same moment as Luz. The witch kept going, her body curling down, shaking with waves of ecstasy, letting them ride out the pleasure, and finally began to decrease her tempo. Time lost all meaning. It may have been months or hours since they last pleasured each other, it did not matter. Amity lifted herself up and hovered above Luz. They shared the longest look now filled just with love, ignoring sweat on their bodies, and labored breathing, feeling nothing but devotion and care.

After what seemed to feel like an eternity, Amity slowly and carefully exited Luz, watching her girlfriend's reactions, discarded the spell, making the abomination disappear. When the witch refocused on her girlfriend, she realized the owlish features receded and Luz breathing was calming down. They shared another look and the smile Clawthorne sent her girlfriend was definitely out of this world.

"I have to admit…" Luz panted, cracking a small smile "I love your creativity." Amity chuckled a bit, exhausted but happy. She laid her head down on the human's chest, exhausted, closed her eyes, and snuggled, completely enjoying the calm beating of the human's heart. She felt a small peck on the top of her head and felt Luz's body going limp, falling asleep immediately. "Mission accomplished." The witch thought with the faintest smile and fell asleep as well.

The exams approached faster than Luz would want to but she finally felt ready. At least she felt ready enough that she was certain she would not fail. Even with her learning difficulties, thanks to the help of her family and friends, she managed to master a semester's worth of knowledge in less than a month. Viney helped Luz with Beast Keeping, Willow studied with Luz about Plant Magic, and Eda was delighted when her daughter finally asked for her help with Potions.

Amity was relieved that since the midnight incident, Luz was obediently following the schedule she had prepared for her. Luz was surprised to realize the schedule included literally everything. Her girlfriend understood her needs perfectly and the roster included time for fooling around with King, relaxing with friends, and some quality date time with Amity. Not so surprisingly, those blocks were the longest in comparison to the others.

"I'll be right there!" Luz yelled from her room the day Amity came to pick her girlfriend up to walk with her to the written exam session. Eda approached the young witch while she sipped her morning Apple Blood.

"Lilith would be proud of your planning skills, Boots." The older witch complimented and Amity blushed, ears slanting down, knowing that being compared to Lilith was an amazing compliment. The witches' focus turned toward the stumbling sound coming from the first floor. Luz almost fell down the stairs hurrying to get down, still experiencing some issues with her leg from time to time. "Overslept?" Eda mocked her daughter and the human blushed heavily.

"Nope." Luz lied and Amity laughed at that. She looked at her girlfriend and felt warmth spreading in her chest. The tan girl's shirt was buttoned up but she missed one button while her hair was wildly sticking to every possible direction. The lavender-haired witch walked over to her girlfriend, fixed her button, and straightened down the collar.

"Better…" Amity said with a smile making Luz blush again while she looked down sheepishly.

"Don't forget your good luck charm, Luz." Eda said and handed her the red beanie. The human smiled fondly and hugged the witch.

"Thanks, Mum." She said, pecked Eda on the cheek, and put on the cap. "Now I'm ready." She told Amity and they finally left toward Hexside, walking hand in hand since they still had time.

"Awww… they grow up so fast." Hooty whispered with a sob.

"They sure do…" Eda said with a fond smile and walked back inside once her daughter disappeared in the forest, and sat on the couch next to her sleeping Titan son. "But they deserve something nice." Eda thought and an idea popped into her head.

"Weh?" Kind asked, noticing The Owl Lady's expression from underneath half-lidded eyes.

The week filled with practical exams preoccupied both Luz and Amity, giving Eda plenty of time to prepare a surprise she hoped both young women would appreciate. After all, with the Academic year they experienced a nice summer vacation would do them good. Luz's mother wanted to do something nice for her daughter and even though it seemed too sweet for her own taste, she was certain her cheesy Kid would appreciate it.

"Oh, you've changed Owl Lady…" Eda muttered when she crossed off the last item from her list. Well, the list Lilith prepared but still. Said Owl Lady stopped in her tracks and smiled softly when she entered the living room in the Owl House where Willow, and Emira were already waiting for her. "It's worth it." She whispered and hid the list in her fluffy hair.

"Are you sure it's not a mistake?" Willow asked with a hint of nervousness in her voice, surprising the older witch. "I mean… there's a reason she never went back, right?" Emira watched the two other witches, not fully understanding the topic at hand.

"Oh, come on, Tweedledum!" Eda said jokingly "If she won't like it, she won't go. You should know better than that. You can't force her into anything." She explained and Willow had to agree.

"Ding, dong, ding! Hooty, hoot-hoot! They're coming back!" The house Demon announced and the witches took their places, getting ready for the surprise. "Just a moment more…" Willow thought nervously. "She shouldn't be angry, right?" Eda worried after another moment had passed. "I hope Hooty remembers to protect us…" Emira prepared to fight, scared for her life.

"Eda! We're-"

"SURPRISE!" Witches exclaimed while Hooty popped the confetti. "Bad idea!" Willow had a last-minute realization and her expression faded.

"Oh, no…" Luz whispered when she noticed a moment too late what was happening. The sudden yell, a loud pop, and an unexpected scenario in a supposedly safe place, was a recipe for disaster. Before the human could have reacted in any way, she noticed Amity jumping in fear, ears slanting down, fighting away the pain of a sudden sound, and the pupils in the golden eyes shrank in a feral way. The lavender-haired witch took a step in front of her girlfriend, shielding her from harm, and sent an enormous fireball toward the source of the pain-inducing ruckus. "Fuck…" Emira thought, gulping nervously, but Hooty managed to protect the Healer just in time, eating the spell with a satisfied munching sound. "Amity, it's okay." Luz finally managed to react, hugging her girlfriend from behind, helping the young Blight to comprehend her surroundings.

"Wha-" Amity whispered in a shaky breath while her eyes roamed the room. She noticed her sister smiling sheepishly, Willow right next to her with a blank expression, and finally Eda, standing next to the couch with a dumbfounded expression. "The hell?" She choked out, letting her hands and guard down.

"My thoughts exactly." Luz agreed, surrounding her girlfriend with her right hand in a protective and supportive embrace. "If you guys have a death wish you should have said so!" Eda gulped, noticing her daughter's expression and twitching brow. "Yeap, she's angry, alright." A longer uncomfortable silence occurred.

"Ugh! I can't take it anymore!" Willow exclaimed, being the first one to break, and took a step toward her friends "The idea was noble but somebody didn't listen to me when I said no sudden sounds!" She glared at Eda and Emira and then faced Luz and Amity who finally started to relax a bit, realizing they were in no danger. "Those agents of chaos came up with a really great gift for you." Luz and Amity shared a nervous look "Both of you."

"A gift?" Amity whispered hesitantly, her expression lightening up a bit.

"Yes. A gift awesome enough I decided to help them pull it off." Willow said with a teasing smile, noticing a change in the atmosphere in the room. "So what do you say? Will you give them a chance to explain? I mean, if you still want to fry them, I'll gladly help." She added with a chuckle. To everyone's relief Amity and Luz smiled happily and joined Eda on the couch.

"So, Mum?" Luz started teasingly "What is it that you planned?"

"Actually…" Eda said a bit too loudly, making Amity flinch a bit "Sorry, Boots. I'm so excited." She explained with a grin yet an apologetic look in her eyes "Lilith did the planning. I just followed through." That information helped Luz relax. "I remember that many months ago when you were both still so in denial…"

"And sneaking right under my nose." Willow added.

"And making lovey-dovey eyes at each other… Ew…" Eda's comment made both Luz and Amity blush heavily "I remember specifically how Boots was so super hyped about every piece of information about the Human Realm." Young Blight blushed even more, realizing how weird it must have been to watch her and Luz from a side "So I, WE, thought - hey, why not organize a vacation in the Human Realm?"

"WHAT?!" Luz and Amity exclaimed at the same time. The latter one felt a tinge of excitement and desire to learn new things but the human by her side suddenly fell quiet. The younger Clawthorne looked at her girlfriend, trying to read her mind. "I mean sure, bad things happened but it was years ago and it would make Amity happy…" She struggled internally, noticing the excitement on her girlfriend's face. "Hoot" Echoed supportively in her head. "Yeah, I have changed and it's not like I'll be alone… Not anymore…"

"I mean, you deserve a break after all that happened. So maybe a change of scenery would do you good and help you heal." Emira finally spoke up and smiled softly at her sister "I'm certain there's nothing that you both can't handle."

"She's right!" Eda said and then addressed her daughter's anxiety "You've grown up and changed so much. Maybe it will give you the closure you deserve." She added and Luz thought about the vision she experienced in the Clinic. "I'm so proud of you, mija." Her mother's voice echoed in her head and despite the pang of sadness, she smiled.

"Soooo…" Amity watched Luz's expression carefully, not sure what the human had decided. The witch did not want to force her girlfriend into anything but she would be lying if she would say that the idea of visiting the Human Realm did not excite her. Luz just laughed quietly at the hopeful gaze piercing through her soul.

"So let's pack, Amity." The human confirmed and the lavender-haired witch squealed loudly in joy, surprising everybody with her expressiveness, and then threw herself at Luz, trapping the human in a powerful hug. "Wow…" She whispered returning the hug and sharing the shocked look with Willow who smiled smugly. "This is making you this happy?" She queried and Amity pulled back and shook the human while holding her shoulders.

"It's gonna be great! Titan! I need my journals!" Amity stood up in excitement pulling Luz up with her, still holding the human's shoulders. "You have to show me EVERYTHING!" She added and cackled the way no one had seen before, smiling excitedly, ears slanting down and perking up again while her mind rushed.

"So I take it, you like it?" Eda needed confirmation, Amity immediately looked at the older Clawthorne, and smiled the widest smile the gray-haired witch has ever seen on the Blight's face. Luz laughed at the sight of Amity's joy, recalling their 'Book Club' meetings when she first saw the witch's ecstatic expression. The human could have sworn she could see stars shining in the golden orbs.

"I guess she does, Mum." Younger Clawthorne confirmed with a chuckle and then cupped Amity's cheek in an affectionate gesture.

"I'm so sorry, Luz. I don't want to pressure you into anything…" The lavender-haired witch started but her girlfriend cut her off with a chaste kiss.

"Ew, emotions…" Eda murmured but everyone ignored her.

"Don't you ever apologize for being happy." Luz said once their lips parted "I mean, I am a bit anxious but I agree with Eda. I need closure and I really, really want to show you where I come from." She added and Amity locked the human in another crushing embrace. "Besides… we can't let all their hard work go to waste, now can we?" Luz added making her girlfriend chuckle in a high-pitched cackle.

"You have no idea how relieved I am." Emira said with visible relief and plopped in the armchair with a sigh.

"So you were afraid Amity would not want to visit the Human Realm but you thought she would like a loud, unexpected, popping, and flashing welcome after the most Academically exhausting week?" The human pointed out making the Healer blush once she realized her incredibly flawed logic.

"Now that you point that out…" Everyone laughed at that and Luz and Amity finally parted looking at each other with fondness and love.

"As cute as that is…" Eda pointed to the young women still holding each other "You'd better start packing. King is wrapping up the last preparations as we speak and there's still a lot I need to tell you before you go." She added, making both Luz and Amity a tad nervous.

"Oh, don't worry." Willow butted in "It's just some information to make your vacation as safe as possible." Willow explained and put hands in the pockets of her long, yellow jacket "But I can already tell you that Hunter and I will be joining you halfway through. That is if you don't mind…" She added with a sheepish smile. Amity let out another squeak of joy she could not contain.

"It's gonna be SO great!" Young Blight jumped toward her friend and hugged her tightly, surprising everyone even more.

"Oh, shucks…" Willow whispered, blushing heavily.

"Thank you all for doing this…" Amity added, her gaze roaming the people in the room once she let go of the shorter witch.

The realization that it only took a few short months to turn her life upside down made her head spin. When she returned to Bonesborough at the beginning of the Academy year she was still scared, trapped under her mother's influence, frightened to even consider rekindling her friendship with Willow. But today? Today she was free. She may have lost her mother and family home but in return, she gained the friendship of her long-lost friend, the love of the most amazing person she has ever met, the affection of her girlfriend's mother who she now considered her own, and finally rekindled a relationship with her disinherited sister.

In the end, she met her sister's wife, her girlfriend's family, and her best friend's partner. She found a new home. Her own home and her own family. To think it all started with a mysterious cursed human whom she followed in the moment of need. Everything seemed to happen in the right place and right time. It was perfect in its imperfection. Amity would not change it for the world.
