Cracks surrounded the group above their heads as they looked towards the sky. Everything was now breaking apart. "Uh, I don't wanna stay here forever!" Dirk cried out as they looked around. "Oblivion makes my belly hurt!" His stomach growled and he hugged himself. "Hang in there, Hurley..."

"Hold on, Bardle! You can do it!" Quint called out in encouragement to the shining light in the sky. "I believe in you, Cool Guy 5!"

Bardle squeezed his eyes shut as he was holding onto the bit, the other monsters still engaged in battle with the wretches.

Jack gasped as everything got closer to them, Bardle gritting his teeth. Then everything stopped and Quint looked towards the debris. "It's holding! Bardle's giving us a chance to escape!" He turned to the others happily.

"Grab on!" Jack smiled and they hugged his legs. "I'm getting out of my own head for once!" He jumped up towards the sky and then smashed through the glass in front of the light.

"Wow!"

"No way!"

"Whoa!"

"Yes!" May pumped a fist as they were heading towards a bright yellow light. Bardle continued holding onto the candle as they returned to their bodies. "Okay, that was a new experience," Dirk commented once they opened their eyes. Bardle kneeled and the King Wretch also came back to life, screeching. It fell to the ground in front of Jack. The wretches saw this from outside and then left.

"Bardle, that was incredible!" Quint smiled down at him. "You really are Cool Guy 5!" The monster groaned while sitting up. "Are you okay?"

"No, I am now Exhausted Guy 5," He answered while out of breath. "But I am grateful you all escaped safely."

Jack let out a cough, getting June's attention. He continued coughing and she rushed over immediately. "Jack!" He turned around to her and she smiled happily. "I'm so glad you're okay." He got onto his feet, wobbling around.

"Oh, I feel like spaghetti," He fell back into Dirk's arms. "But even noodlier." Dirk got him back onto his feet and he rubbed his neck. "Wait, if you guys are here, where's the radio?" He looked around as he didn't see it on them.

"It's...still on the roller coaster," Dirk answered with a sheepish smile.

"I almost had it myself, but...yeah, I didn't grab it," May chuckled awkwardly at the reminder.

"You left it?!" Jack exclaimed at the two.

"We were kinda in a hurry," June smiled at him. "To save our friend."

He smiled and hugged her, which she returned. "Aww, so this is family!" Skaelka exclaimed, joining in, and they all hugged each other.

"Aww, you guys!" Jack gushed and June let out a laugh.

"No, you!"

"Friends!" Quint exclaimed as Bardle joined in awkwardly.

"Ah, it stinks like emotion in here!" Dirk called out as Biggun from outside patted Bardle's head with his finger.

"So wholesome," May commented with a smile.

King Wretch's screech interrupted the moment, and they looked up to see Rezzoch appearing from the creature. "You stopped me from crossing over, for now. But you have sealed your fate," All of them glared at her, glancing to each other briefly. "Your nightmare now becomes reality. We will destroy the town..." The wretches up above screeched and one of them left. "And all that live there."

"No, wait!" Jack spoke up while running towards the creature. Two wretches landed in front of him, hissing. He backed away a bit.

"Leave young Jack for last. I want him to suffer for the choice he has made," His eyes widened as he gave a small frown. "Until we meet again, boy..." She disappeared into King Wretch, who fell towards the ground. The other wretches approached...and then King Wretch attacked them both, engulfing them into its wings. A glow came from them as they couldn't see anything, smoke appearing.

"Wha-what's it doing to those other Wretches?" Quint asked in fear as the creatures suddenly got bigger.

"Nothing good!" June exclaimed as they looked up in disbelief.

"Oh, come on!" Dirk shouted in disbelief. "Are you serious with this right now?" They all ran away to the door, Bardle opening it as they rushed out. Quint stayed behind to look at the shelf, though.

"The comics! There are valuable first issues here!" He started grabbing them, only to be pulled back by both Dirk and May. As the three ran out, a blue glow came from the comic shop. The wretches looked up as the group stared. A large hand burst out of the ceiling, followed by another, and a three-headed wretch was revealed! They all shrieked, looking up in worry. "It's like..."

"The Ultimate King Wretch! Massive wing span, three horrific heads, claws of steel! Just messed up!"

"It's bad enough we had the King Wretch, but now an ultimate one?!" May exclaimed as the creature shrieked and then flew away. The other wretches followed to go wreak havoc. June glared up at them and then turned to her friends.

"Guys, it's not over."

"With Bardle's magic," Quint nudged him a little.

"And Quint and May's teamwork and inventivity," Bardle smiled while placing hands on their shoulders.

"And my ax!" Skaelka added in, holding it up.

"We can do this!" Jack smiled confidently, running over to the ice cream truck. He took his slicer back. "It's disco time."

"Let's teach these jerks how to dance!" Dirk punched his fists together.

"We'll just need-"

Biggun appeared carrying Big Mama, interrupting May. "Thanks, Biggun!" June called out as they rushed into the car.

"Uh-oh! It only seats five!" Quint pointed out as they looked around.

"Grab a lap!" Jack told Skaelka and May with a smirk.

"That's not legal!" Quint interjected in protest. Skaelka hopped onto the side of the car.

"Skaelka does not follow the laws of man," She slipped inside to land on June and Jack's laps. "Mm, cozy!"

"Besides, we're about to save the abandoned city, I doubt the law is gonna care," May pointed out while leaping, landing on Bardle, Quint, and Dirk. "And you shouldn't protest to me being on your lap," She winked up playfully at Quint and he blushed.

"Well...no..." He murmured and Dirk closed the door. Biggun lifted up the car and ran off.

"Whoa! Easy, Biggun," Jack warned as Biggun ran across the roofs, all of them protesting. Biggun grunted angrily and saw the wretches near the treehouse. He then threw them across, all of them screaming fear except for Skaelka. They landed on the road and Jack hit the brakes. They looked up as a wretch flew over their car, everyone stepping out. They saw all the wretches laying carnage to all the monsters, destroying furniture. All the monsters were running away, and one threw furniture at Ber. She skated away as the table broke into pieces. Jack got out of the car to join June. "I've seen how this ends." A wretch pushed them towards the ground and they landed safely. "This whole place is gonna be a waste land if we can't stop these wretches!"

One of them was flying right towards the four and they ducked their heads. Suddenly the wretch was knocked to the ground thanks to a trash can to the face. "You heard the nerd, stop those wretches!" Dirk called out as the monsters separated to attack. Jack ducked from one as Biggun ran nearby, Quint and May crawling up to the treehouse. Jack yelped as he had to dodge a table, glancing behind him to see a wretch flying towards him. He jumped onto a car and then leaped for the roof, gripping onto the ledge. He climbed up, looking up and leaping towards the wretch. He screamed as he swung, but the wretch flew upward, causing him to fall to the ground. "They're too high!"

"Not for long!" June glared while looking up. "Skaelka!"

She turned around and grinned widely as June ran up to her. June jumped and used Skaelka's axe to give her a boost. She shouted and hit a wretch, knocking her backwards. Biggun reached out a hand and caught her. She sighed in relief as he lifted her up. "Thank you, good sir!" Another wretch flew towards them, but Biggun smacked it away and sent it flying. The wretch hit the ground while landing near Chef and Bardle with a screech.

"I wish I had a chainsaw," Bardle commented to Chef, who knocked the wretch back with his pizza paddle.

"I wish I had a laser sword!" Two wretches screeched in front of them, the three-headed King Wretch flying into the sky. The Ultimate King Wretch crashed into a pillar, heading for a monster. One of the other monsters saved him by pushing him out of the way. They both glared up towards the sky. Jack was kicking a wretch in the face, only to be knocked away by another one. His slicer flew away far enough that he couldn't reach it. He glared up at the wretch.

"Hey!" Quint showed while toilet plungers hit the wretch in the face. Quint was using the zipline to fly off the treehouse, May holding onto him while holding a water squirt gun. "Eat more!" He fired a blue glowing ball while May squirted water in the wretch's face, knocking him away from Jack. The two landed as Bardle used his magic to blast it away.

"Yeah!" Jack cheered as he grabbed his slicer. Biggun was dragging a car while holding a club.

"Nice Earth magic and aim!" Bardle complimented Quint and May.

"Nice, uh...magic magic!"

"Can't go wrong with a harpoon and squirt gun," May shrugged with a smile.

A wretch flew towards Biggun, who tried swatting it with the car. It flew around and flew between some buildings. June and Skaelka shouted while jumping off the nearby roofs, distracting the creature enough for it to crash into a car up ahead. The two smiled while hanging onto the sides of the building. They slid to the bottom.

"Aw, yay!"

"Huzzah!" The two clinked their weapons together, running back into the area. A wretch flew past Dirk and Chef, the former jumping onto Chef's pizza paddle. He watched the wretch's movement, and it flew right past him.

"Yup!"

Chef jumped onto the paddle, launching Dirk into the sky. He yelled and managed to get onto the wretch to control it. "Witness the Dirk Monster!" He shouted while pumping a fist. He grabbed the wing and bent it, the wretch screeching in pain. Because of this, it fell towards the ground and crashed onto the top of a car. Dirk rolled nearby, looking up as Chef laughed.

"Eat that, you overgrown canaries!" He mocked while shaking two fists. The Ultimate King Wretch screeched, getting their attention as a mailbox landed nearby some monsters. The Ultimate King Wretch threw a dumpster towards Dirk and Chef. Both of them jumped out of the way as the thing exploded. Jack watched the creature take to the sky again, and it turned back around, firing three blue blasts of magic.

"Get down!" He warned as it fired, Biggun hugging several people to save them. The blasts flew past him, Globlet peeking out of a tin can. Biggun grunted while releasing Ber, a monster, June, Quint, and May. The wretches flew around while the five friends regrouped.

"That three-headed jerk is knocking us on our two-cheeked butts!" June exclaimed in annoyance. "We've gotta take out the leader!" Another screech got them to look up.

"The King," Jack gritted his teeth.

"New objective. Skip the mini bosses, target the final boss!" Quint told them and looked around. He saw the trophy from the Tournament they had a while back. "Grab the trophy! I've got an idea!" They ducked their heads from another wretch, June flipping past a wretch. She managed to get the trophy, hooking it to her spear.

"Sullivan, catch!" She threw it into his hands.

"To the tree house!" Quint exclaimed, but before they could reach the ladder, a wretch stopped in front of them. Dirk grabbed it from behind and tossed it into the sky.

"Me and Chef'll keep 'em busy!" He stated and they ducked from another wretch.

"Go!" Jack shouted as they continued on. Chef was holding jelly donuts with green icing on them.

"Time to serve the jelly donuts!" He tossed one into the air, hitting a wretch and knocking it down. "Did I mention that instead of jelly, I used acid?" He grinned and Dirk smiled, grabbing the pizza paddle.

"You are my brother from another monster," He stated while holding the paddle like a baseball bat. Chef laughed and tossed them. Dirk swung to hit them, all of them hitting wretches. Chef ate a donut himself...and then flinched while spitting it out.

"I forgot! I forgot!" He cried out as smoke came from his mouth. The others climbed up to the treehouse, a jelly donut knocking down a wretch. Bardle joined them as Quint revealed a giant bow attached to the treehouse.

"The Colossal Bow!"

"The most impressive mechanism," Bardle commented while rubbing his chin.

"Load 'er up!" Jack took the trophy and Quint pulled back the string. Jack placed the trophy in front of it. "Bardle, grab that cable!" Quint pointed at it across from them. Bardle rushed over, only for a wretch to fly up and head for him. He ducked, but the wretch broke the platform he was standing on, and the cable fell. May slid over as Bardle used his magic to lift it up. He threw it to Quint, and once he did so, May reached out to pull him onto the other platform. Quint plugged in the blender. "Jack, get its attention!"

"On it!" Jack grabbed a tennis ball cannon. "Hey, you hydra wannabe!" Jack fired at it, and it turned around to him. The Ultimate King Wretch screeched, flying in front of the boy. It reached out to him and he ran off towards the Colossal Bow. Quint and May clenched it and then fired the trophy into its mouth. The Ultimate King Wretch started to choke on it.

"Introducing the Wretch-Be-Gone!" Quint pulled a lever, turning on the generator. It powered up with electricity, shocking the Ultimate King Wretch. Jack, Quint, and May shared a high-five.

"Take that, you big flying turkey!"

Then the King Wretch spit out the trophy, fire appearing from its mouth as it fell onto a platform of the treehouse, setting it on fire. "Go, go, go!" Jack shouted as Quint wrapped an arm around May, and she hugged his shoulders as he went down the zipline. They landed and looked up, the zipline snapping off thanks to the flames. Bardle raised a hand to lift himself and Jack off the platform, the two landing safely. They approached the treehouse slowly, June, Skaelka, and Bellybuster ducking from a wretch. One of them came flying towards May and Quint grabbed her, rolling onto the ground as the wretch missed them. Jack walked up slowly, his eyes horrified as this was just like in his vision. "It's all happening. The nightmare! Soon I'll be dragging my friends' skulls around."

"Wait, what?" June asked in surprise as she heard him. A wretch came flying near her and she flipped away from it. "What's that about our skulls?"

"We can't let him destroy everything we've done," Jack gestured to the Ultimate King Wretch, who was getting stuff thrown at him. "Everything we've built together. We have to get him away from here!" She narrowed her eyes in determination, jumping onto the back of Big Mama.

"New goal, folks! We've gotta get this guy outta town!" She threw some rope towards May and Dirk. The two stepped up and threw the lasso at one of the heads. Both of them pulled, grunting.

"Come on! Everybody! Rope the beast!" Two other monsters helped out, pulling the three heads. Others were starting to help out, a wretch flying towards Bardle. Biggun grabbed the wretch and threw it into an approaching one. Ber and Bardle threw some rope at the wings, all of them pulling as hard as they could. A monster lost balance, but Quint came in with his Boom Kart to take the rope and tie it to the Kart. June came in with her own Boom Kart. Quint whistled to May as her Boom Kart came to her side and she grinned, jumping inside and tying it.

"We need to drag him away from here. We need, uh..." He whistled with his fingers and Rover came over, wearing some red spiked armor. He laughed in glee at this, his eyes shining.

"Hey, how did—did you make that?" Quint asked in surprise, turning to Bardle.

"Yes. Science!"

"It's really more mechanical engineering, which is more May's-" May came over and covered his mouth.

"Ah, no, please stop," She shook her head as Rover growled at him. Bardle also stared at the boy.

"But I'll give it to you!"

Rover ran forward, grabbing a rope to help out. A wretch crashed nearby, Jack looking towards Biggun, Skaelka, and Bellybuster. "We got this! Go! Go!" Jack nodded with a determined look and rode off with Rover.

"Pull!" Dirk shouted as they went down the street with the Ultimate King Wretch.

"Keep the lines shut!" Quint called out as the creature crashed into a building.

"It's working!" June said as they continued pulling with the Boom Karts.

"Not so tough now, are ya?" Quint mocked as his kart lifted up a little. The wretch struggled from the ropes, bumping into cars and buildings. It then took to the skies to try and drag them away.

"Drag him to the kitchen! I'll make Wretch burgers out of him!" Chef called out, Bardle floating above him holding the rope.

"No food item should ever contain the word wretch," Bardle pointed out in disgust.

"I am definitely not eating that, but thank you for having me vision that," May shook her head, trying to keep her nausea in.

"Where are we taking him?" Dirk couldn't help but wonder while driving Big Mama. "Nothing's big enough to hold this piece of trash."

Those last words gave Jack an idea and he smiled. "That's it! Follow me!" He waved a hand forward as he and Rover took the lead. The boom karts skidded around the corner, the Ultimate King Wretch flapping its right wing repeatedly. The rope holding it eventually came lose, lifting up Bardle and Chef in the air. They both yelped in alarm, and the Ultimate King Wretch swung the rope off its wings. Bardle, Chef, Ber, and another monster fell onto the street.

"Secure the wing!" June shouted while looking over her shoulder. The Ultimate King Wretch flew higher to loosen the grips of the ropes.

"Don't let go!" Dirk warned while holding the rope, driving Big Mama still. The Ultimate King Wretch flew up so high that it started breaking off its restraints from the Boom Karts. June reached out a hand as her rope snapped off, then Quint's, and then May's.

"No!" May shouted and then Dirk held on as tightly as he could. But unfortunately, the rope slipped from his hands.

"I...I let go!"

Jack was the only one with a rope now as he looked back in horror to see the Ultimate King Wretch flying forward. He grabbed the rope, and it lifted him away from Rover. Then the creature knocked them both into a parked car, causing them to loose their grip. They looked up as the creature flew around, screeching. Jack didn't seem fazed, though, and patted Rover on the back. "Okay, buddy. It's payback time!" Rover growled as the wretch came flying down towards them. Rover ran forward as the creature got closer, and June gasped as she realized what they were doing.

"No!" She cried out while holding out a hand. Rover jumped up, and slowly, they braced themselves as the wretch's claws scraped against the armor, not affecting the blue monster at all. He then grabbed all the ropes into his arm in one fell swoop, landing back on the road and running off.

"Yeah!" Jack cheered as they led the wretch down the road. "Run!" The wretch landed on the road, being deagged down the street. Jack and Rover crashed into the junkyard. "A little further..." He gripped his slicer behind him. "Now, stop!" Rover slid to a stop, letting go of the ropes. The Ultimate King Wretch flew into a pile of trash, landing on top of something. His friends all arrived, looking up ahead. Something shook from the junkyard and Jack grinned. "Hey, Scrapken! I brought dinner!" He announced as Dirk joined his side.

The Scrapken's tentacles grabbed onto a wing, the Ultimate King Wretch trying and failing to escape. The Scrapken's other tentacles appeared and he came out of hiding with a roar. He knocked away the King Wretch, who roared and charged at him. The Scrapken used his tentacles to fend it off, roaring as the Ultimate King Wretch flew around him.

"Oh, this is gonna get messy," Dirk grinned, punching his fists together.

"Epic giant monster battle!" Jack took out his camera to videotape it. "Mighty punches," He started narrating as the Scrapken's tentacle went across the wretch's face. "Horrific kicks!" The Ultimate King Wretch used his claws to strike the Scrapken. "Bone crushing action! Gigantic-"

Dirk put a hand in front of the camera. "Dude! Just be in the moment for once," He pulled the camera down, gesturing to the fight. "Let 'em fight!"

The Scrapken swung but missed, the Wretch flying up to him. The creature threw a fridge at the Scrapken's head, flying upwards. Scrapken used a tentacle to grab his leg, slamming the ground and grabbing a van. He used it to hit the Wretch, and it went flying to the ground. Dirk and Jack both cheered at this.

"Thank god neither of them are focusing on us, or we'd be dinner tonight," May whispered to Quint, who nodded in agreement.

The Wretch screeched and flew in to charge, and Scrapken threw something at it. The others all yelped and ducked their heads as it went over the fence. The Wretch then bit the Scrapken, who yelled and slammed it to the dirt. As he had the Wretch pinned, blue energy came from the three mouths. Then it fired into the Scrapken's eyes, distracting it as the creature took to the sky. The Wretch used this distraction to swoop down, the Scrapken getting its vision back. He reached out and grabbed one of the necks using his tentacle, roaring. Then it grabbed another neck, and then the last one. Scrapken let out a growl as another tentacle reached out, and revealed suction cups.

"That's new!" Quint shouted in alarm.

"Did he have that all this time or just developed it?" May gestured to it in disbelief. The last tentacle wrapped all around the body and they all cringed. The Scrapken brought the Wretch closer to himself, the Wretch struggling in its gripped. As the Scrapken squeezed, the Wretch's hand fell, scratching Scrapken a little. Its arm slowly stopped moving, letting out a growl as its eyes rolled up...and then slowly started to close. His arm went limp, and he clenched a fist while struggling to hang on.

"Stay out of our home," Jack growled angrily up at the Wretch. Scrapken continued to roar while never letting go of the Wretch. Scrapken growled and then dragged the Ultimate King Wretch down with him, the giant creature never to be seen again. Jack let out a sigh of relief as June, Quint, and May joined them.

"When you want something done right, you do it yourself!" She grinned, glancing up as they heard a faint roar. "Or have a giant Scrapken do it for ya."

"The best part is, without their leader, the other wretches are scattering like nerds at a football scrimmage," Dirk gestured to all the flying wretches above their heads. Eventually, though, the wretches did all separate.

"Uh, wait!" Jack shook his head rapidly. "What time is it?"

"Based on the time of year, and the position of the constellations, I would estimate-"

"How long?!" June interrupted urgently and May sighed slowly.

"30 minutes until the final broadcast," Quint revealed solemnly and she gasped.

"No thanks to the Ultimate King Wretch wasting our time," May grumbled to herself.

"We'll make it back in time," Jack assured June, who turned around with a frown on her face. She silently nodded at him. "I promise."

"Then let's go!" She pulled him away and Dirk ran past the monsters.

"Hey, monster dudes! Ever been to Funland?"

Biggun ran back towards Funland, jumping past the zombies. The monsters knocked them down as the five and Bardle were sitting in the large basket. Globlet was sitting in the drink carrier in front of them. "Come on, Biggun, you can go faster!" Jack encouraged him while standing up. "Just imagine there's uh...a...what do Bigguns like best?"

"Belly rubs?"

"Cheeseburgers," Dirk suggested with a grin.

"Other Bigguns?"

"Don't get his hopes up on that," May winced a little at Quint.

"Well, whatever it is, imagine there's a pile of them taller than your head just waiting for you at Funland."

Bardle waved a hand to make illusions of giant cheeseburgers appear in front of Biggun. The giant monster's eyes shined as he growled in excitement. "Burger!" His tongue wagged as he went faster.

"Ha ha, that's it! Go, go!"

Biggun pushed past the gate, letting the five down. They ran for the roller coaster, thunder rumbling. The radio was still right where they left it as they started climbing up. As May swung side to side, she gripped the bars as she got past her friends with ease thanks to the cheerleading practice. She ran across the beam and grabbed the radio, turning around as the others appeared. She handed it ove to Quint, who examined it.

"Is it..." June couldn't finish the question as Quint turned around...and they got static. They all cheered at this and June sighed in relief. She put the radio into Dirk's backpack and they all started climbing again. The monsters were watching them from down below.

"Good luck!" Skaelka called out to them, the others leaving. "You're on your own, now! It's all you now!" Dirk gave a nervous thumbs up at her, since they got the point. "You got this!" She finally left as it started to rain and she came back with a big smile. "Family!"

They reached the coaster car, getting into the seats. "We made it!" Quint smiled while looking at his watch. "And just in time!"

"Four, three, two, one..." Dirk counted down as they waited in anticipation. The watch beeped and they looked at the radio. After about half a minute of waiting, nothing happened.

"Could it be the weather messing up the signal?" June looked up in worry, shaking the radio a bit. "Is the storm messing up the signal?!"

"No," Jack answered calmly and she frowned. "They'll be on any minute."

"He's right, we just have to keep waiting," May said gently, crossing her arms and putting her chin onto them. It continued to rain as they kept waiting and waiting...but minutes go by without anything happened.

"Guys..." June sniffed a little, wiping at her eyes. "I don't think there's gonna be a broadcast. We should-"

"Hey," Jack placed a hand on her shoulder. "We don't know why they're late. T-They're probably climbing their own gigantic roller coaster."

"Metaphorically!" Quint smiled while holding up a finger.

"Or maybe had to fight off their own zombies or wretches," May counted off with a small smile.

"Those are terrible names for roller coasters, but they will show up!" Jack declared to them. "If we have to sleep here all night, we'll do it!"

"...Really?" June smiled softly at him and he nodded.

"But, there's no reason not to do it in comfort," He smiled and they cheered while everyone except June raided the tent. They grabbed snacks, sweaters, plushes, and the umbrella from their transportation. May grabbed some slushies from a slushie machine (she made sure the ingredients were still fresh). Dirk planted the umbrella over the cart as they were all wearing the sweaters, eating their snacks. Dirk sat down as they all smiled, Jack glancing at June. She smiled as well and they waited a bit more optimistically since they weren't getting drenched anymore.

Jack dozed off soon after, and then the next thing he knew, it was morning. He snored while laying against the plush pillows. Everyone else except June was asleep as well. May had her head rested on Quint's shoulder as they were surrounded by the plushes. Jack woke up, rubbing his eyes as June sadly looked at the radio. "Anything?" She silently shook her head no. "They will."

Then a few seconds later, static went off, alarming the three in front of them. They gasped sharply as they snapped awake, turning around.

"Hello?"

"Hi!" June shouted in excitement.

"If there's anyone out there listening, this is our final broadcast."

"It's them. It's them!" Quint's eyes shined in joy, June shushing him.

"We are a group of humans who have survived the monster apocalypse. We are in New York City, inside the Statue of Liberty."

"Ah, it's so obvious!" Dirk exclaimed, June shushing him again.

"Both of you shush, please," May gave the two boys a strained smile.

"Though we have not spoken directly to other survivors, we have intercepted signals like this one from cities around the country."

"Yes!" June shouted happily with a big smile.

"And we believe there are other pockets of humanity all over the world."

"Yes, we're right here!" June shouted, though there was no response to this.

"They can't hear you!" Quint gestured to the radio.

"We should've added a speaker to it," May snapped her fingers.

"She knows," Dirk whispered to the two of them. June shushed all three of them.

"We will be leaving New York tomorrow to start the search for others. Stay where you are, and we will find a way to all come together! We will survive," The broadcast then ended there, June turning off the radio.

"I'm sorry we didn't learn any more about your parents," Jack placed a hand on June's shoulder.

"It's okay," She chuckled happily at the radio. "I've got hope. We're not the only ones!" She stood up with a cheer.

"Whatever the future holds, I just want you guys to know sharing all this with you was great," Jack spoke up with a soft smile.

"Was? It still is great!"

"And it's gonna be great for a long time," June assured the boy with a smile.

"Because we're gonna be a bigger family!" May squealed while jumping up a bit.

"Together!" Quint held out a hand. Jack took his hand and stood up.

"Thanks, guys," He told them gratefully, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh, and there's one more thing I've been wanting to say." He picked up the plushes and threw them around in excitement. "Funland!" He cheered as the others beamed.

Quint, May, and two monsters clinked snow cones, eating them happily. Bellybuster drunk a whole keg of them and got brainfreeze. He fell to the ground while holding his head. May bent over to him, holding a first aid kit.

A monster flew past with balloons tied to his feet. They rode the Ferris Wheel, June and Jack sharing a cart with Globlet. Bardle was floating in his. Quint and May beamed while looking out to the sky, holding each other's hand.

In a spinning ride, all the monsters got whiplash.

Quint was focusing his arm on the balloon dart game when Skaelka swung at the balloons with her axe. May and Quint blinked at her before laughing together. The monster took an octopus plush to hand over to May, who smiled.

Everyone was riding the bumper cars, going slowly. One of the monsters rigged the controls so that they'd go faster, everyone bumping into each other.

Ber, Biggun, Bardle, Skaelka, and another monster all threw rings onto Globlet, who smiled.

Then everyone was riding the roller coaster, starting to go up a hill. "The feelings in my stomach. W-What manner of magic is this?" Bardle looked down at himself as he had never felt excitement...well, ever. He then gave a huge grin. "I like it!"

"Oh, no, that is so much creepier than when he's not smiling," Jack looked away, a bit unnerved by Bardle smiling.

"Indeed." Then they all went down the hill, throwing up their arms happily. A bunch of photos of them were taken from the coaster. The five examined the pictures with smiles, Dirk bringing them into a group hug as they laughed.

"Hey, Quint?" May spoke up to him and he turned to her. She held his cheeks and leaned in, giving him a brief kiss to everyone's shock. She smiled as Quint was frozen. "That's for saving me, and you deserved it anyway after waiting so long."

He giggled from her answer and then fainted onto the ground. "Eh."

"I think you broke him," Jack stated as they looked over him, the four laughing.

Later that night, the wind blew as the streets were deserted. It started to snow and a loud stomp was heard. A large shadow moved past a car, and it was revealed to be a giant light green monster walking around. He let out a roar, and a human climbed up onto his head.

"Let's get to work," She snarled while crossing her arms.

Angel: Alright, that was the final chapter, and I wish the show hadn't gotten cancelled because of the unresolved plotlines. Next thing to tackle is finishing Sonic Satam, and I'll try to throw in Sonic Boom as well. But I do work 8 hours except weekends, so I can't promise anything. Bye!
