Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Frostbitten Flames. Enjoy the 5200-word chapter. I do not own RWBY, Monty Oum and a few others do.

(Atlas, Alsius.)

General Ironwood was aware of how powerful Firefly had been before now. It had been something odd for him as of the time being. He was aware of how many of his troops were as skilled as possible to handle military fieldwork for now when all was said and done at the end of the day.

"Is she still handling the rest of the work?" Ironwood questioned while he placed his hands behind his back. "She should have handled the defenses by now, no?" Ironwood questioned for the time being.

He had been a lot more focused on how to properly run this mission. Whatever came next was going to be terrible for now. This had been something terrible for now. The general knew for a fact that there was more to this story than what the equipment had shown for now. It had been something cool for now.

"We need to get more units into position. Send the others and get me a sweep of the entire area. We cannot leave anything to chance." Ironwood ordered before he sighed.

He was honestly more curious about this ending than he had been before now. It had been something curious for now. The idea had been a lot more interesting when this came down to their move.

One of the techs slowly started to question what to handle next. The operation was sensitive and they had been oh so much interesting to know. Whatever this had been? They had slowly started to follow them and sigh to himself. The mission could not be compromised for now.

This had been something for the books at the end of the day and he could not afford to let it be compromised by anything. He folded his hands behind his back when it came down to it.

Whatever came next would be a weird little blemish when it came next. There would be no real problem if she played her part as she had for no real reason to be doing. For now. There was a lot more to handle, a lot more to this nightmare than there had been before then. The sheer idea made him a lot more terrified from now when it came down to it. She had a lot more for now when it came down to it. She had a lot more focused when it came.

There was a lot more interest within this, a lot more that had not been fully resolved and hardened to the best of her ability when all was said and done.

There was a lot more to question when it came down to it. Firefly was a lot more prepared for what had to be done, a lot more to handle this op than she had been before, whatever came next to it and for good.

"There's a lot more to handle it, she had been ready for next time," Firefly stated while he seemed to question while she tilted her head.

She paused while she seemed to be a lot more focused on how to properly use her talents herself, there was a lot more prepared for now, whatever came next would be something insane and crazy for now, she had been a lot more focused for now.

She tilted her head, unsure of what to do something next while all of it was done and done dusted and dusted, too thrown off by this, too focused on her mission, too unwilling to prepare for what was to come.

Their game had not been set, and not one thing matched as well, no, this was not over, not by a long shot. No, not while something had been alive inside while she, while it came down to it, had been a lot more focused while he seemed to be on the mind.

She tilted her head, while she clicked her fingers, together not willing to do anything about now while it seemed to be oddly questioning now.

There was a lot more focus to be had, for now, a lot more to defend, to deal with now. There was a lot more to question when it seemed to come to this, there was a lot more riding on this than there had been when all of this was said and done.

She had been a lot more focused on how this could go. A lot more prepared for now, whatever came next would be a horrid thing for before now. He hummed while he questioned before he sighed.

She seemed to be preparing for the worst, not willing to properly focus on when it seemed to be unsure what it would be.

She tilted her head while she hummed, prepared for now while reloading her weapons. She was not yet done.

Still? They needed her; they would all need her before she questions what to handle. There were more of them to clear out if nothing else.

Yes, this needed to be prepared for anything. She slowly started to walk forward, before now? They had been prepared for the best. If anything, else? They would all get medals. They would all enjoy it before all their moves what to handle.

She watched as the others started to question. She slowly started to rip down the monsters, the machines swinging at her while she flipped back towards the robots which swung at her, their staffs cutting through the air as if there was something.

He watched only with his interests fully aligned. General Ironwood knew she would get the mission done. It was what he hired her for.

Then again? Her orders changed as much as the rounds in her guns. There was so much more she could have done, so much more she wished to be able to handle and focus upon. Yet? Her orders were clear, handle the best of the best and the worst of the worst. This was just the tip of the iceberg.

It made her too interested in what may or may not come, no. This was going to be glorious and it was all going to be fun. This was coming crashing down sooner or later. Well, sooner rather than later, but it was something that could and would be done, all she needed was time, all she had was time.

It was such a fun little distraction that she did not think was going to be able to be topped. No, she did not think that this would be over anytime soon.

The girl rubbed at the edge of her nose. She did not know what else was happening. She did not know what else was coming. This day just seemed to keep getting odder and odder with each passing second. All she had to do was rip it all down. There was more to this. She did not know what else was coming for now.

Welp, it was such that nothing more had been done to have gotten where it should have. She had a duty to ensure that they did not have to deal with such tricks all over again.

Sure, it would be a burden, but she did not want to have to deal with this at all, to begin with. Such things had gotten out of hand, to begin with when this was all said and done to her.

Firefly still rose forwards with interest on her face as she turned towards the others with interest. It was utter madness for now and it did not at all seem as if I exploded beyond what should have been done. She did not know which was worse, the utter lack of respect or the fact that the enemy decided a bunch of robots could slow her down.

Well, they could. The only thing was that they would soon be in pieces all over the snowy grounds… Well, there was the fact that he had no such options to have done much if at all. They were plenty tough but she was damn well tougher.

(Atlas HQ)

Ironwood could only ponder what the hell was going on at this very moment. Not just because of the insanity dripping off the screen which he knew meant Firefly was just being herself.

No, he knew their distraction was going well. Firefly was just as good at causing mayhem as she was at getting her job done on time which told her that their problems had not at all gone away when it comes down to it.

Sadly? This meant a longer operation as to how well it would need to be done and how well it would be was dependable on other factors. She did not even know what the problem would have been if anything else. All he knew, for now, was when it came down to it.

He did not know what to have a question when it seemed for when it came down to it. Her skills were fully prepared for the time and she did not know what it was for.

"We both need to be ready when this is over again," Ironwood stated before he shook his head. "This was not going to be an odder little thing than usual. Clover, have your team move in and secure the relic for now. I will tell Firefly to keep engaging their defenses while you and your team will be moving in sooner or later for now." Ironwood ordered with a sigh as he did so.

It was entirely clear to him such small little problems had fallen apart and it was clear such things only served to tick them apart slowly and slowly while it came down to it. There were more and more problems that came with being a General of Atlas and yet?

Well, it was entirely clear they had more and more pressing concerns to have faced off with. Perhaps it was simply due to the fact such things only had been pushing her more and more in that direction.

If anything? Ironwood was taking full advantage of their problems to have prayed on Atlas and distract them from their problems towards something captivating and invigorating. It was clear the man still had some problems to have fixed and neither army wanted to have questioned to have to prepare for now.

She did not at all seem to have questioned what to do next… It would be worse if not for the fact such problems usually seemed to have fixed the first ones. It was entirely clear they had more to have fixed, a LOT more of a painful thing.

She was a soldier so her way of doing things was simple and it became obvious that the more she tried to fight through countless soldiers like this? The easier it became to cut through them like wheat in a field.

It was an odd little thing, so odd, and yet it was to be a masterpiece, an utterly odd masterpiece as to how it was to go for now, how it would all need to come together, and how little it would have to be fixed, how little it would all come crashing down with enough time and effort.

Still? She had a lot more to say and a lot more to do. Perhaps it was MEANT to be this way. it would not at all surprise her given the possibility of war. Yes, it seemed as if something terrible was to get it perfectly into place, but the problem was simple at the same time.

It was not at all like it. there was a lot more to do, nor would it end properly, if anything? All it did was push the advantage she had with the others beyond its breaking point. It was clear these problems were not going to be fixed sometime soon, before now, before it all collapsed into the sea….

Yet? All problems need to be disposed of properly, it only served to remind more and more people Atlas would not be over the moon nor respond to please and thank you… Power was more and more an issue, only burdened by problems within the cracks, it needed to be contained, controlled, and commanded by a power people were able to trust… Granted?

Atlas was not perfect, but Ironwood would not easily be denied a prize anyone was going to be willing to pay and should be able to, Ironwood did value people more and more and small items could be properly dealt with, problems would always arise and time and effort on their hands, it needed to die and would die sometime soon, it would be all today more and more.

It would need to end time today… Ironwood would see it end today even if it made his head spin today… And yet? It would need to end sometime soon before looking up and into the sky before looking around with interest now.

Such issues only served to become odder and odder, tired, and worn down, for now, becoming more and more amusing to the girl, looking around. All this did was force her to be more and more mirthful for now, indicating more and more of a special ideal, for now, interested in what would become of such a problem.

Firefly easily put down one of the monsters with a single gunshot to the skull, stopping it from being a problem and allowing her to engage the next Beowolf with a single gunshot to the chest which was blocked. Firefly was sent flying backward, a crackling effect across her aura as it struggled and failed.

She was thrown into the snow, the Grimm roaring at her as it brought down its arms to try and crush her. Firefly rolled into the deeper snow, ice, and melted slush raining down on her as she narrowly escaped it all.

The creature growled, unhappy to not be able to kill its prey. It seemed to be far more eager to continue its assault as it lazily swung its limbs toward her. Still? Such a dull creature was easily culled and captured with a mere shot to its sternum, a fitting end for a creature that wouldn't be able to be beaten so easily, and yet? it was still sent packing with a pair of gunshots chasing it away as she went.

The creature roared as if challenging her… Challenging her to try and fight or perhaps a battle where it could try and win? She did not much know nor did she see any real effort in trying to know.

All she had to know about it at the end of the day was just more and more that these missions were becoming boring and even tiresome to a degree. It changed little to nothing at the end, utterly boring if one was to ask her.

One of their staff managed to find her midsection and sent her rolling down the icy hill, slamming her into the ground with a pained grunt as her aura crackled a hue of yellow before finally starting to settle once more. It had to be done either blasted way and that was what he was set on doing.

They had more and more to try and fall back upon and yet they only grew more and more tired at the end of the day, utterly tiring to anyone else, anyone beyond reproach or even attempting to try. It would be harder and harder still to figure out such logic and would continue to try and figure it out now sadly.

(Ironwood's office)

Ironwood looked over the globe in front of him, studying the readings coming from below as he did so. He had a lot more to try and understand, he knew his agents would strike like bombs and any who had opposed it at the end of the day.

Whatever problems he encountered bothered the general but nothing more, such things would grow more and more worrisome at the time. He snapped his hands together, reminding them all that he had been in such a position before and had clawed his way from it in much at all if anything, no. She had cut through them like a knife into butter and they would manage to claim what they needed next, whatever was done was done and the past would be the past as of now, with no excuses or mercy.

It was just perfect for now, something beyond what they could do and he could fix. All of it came down to what was being fixed and well? They had to fix it all properly or not at all, something far beyond the pale.

Far beyond what was coming and what was going, what they could do was small potatoes compared to their ability now and he knew very little, very, VERY little for now.

He was ready and he knew it, he looked down at the ground while clicking his jaw against the roof of his mouth. They had a reason to figure out such problems and a reason to fight against it all now and might continue.

He knew more and more that if they did not strike while the iron was hot? Well, they would never strike at all. It became harder and harder to understand, figure out… But it was a measure of mercy compared to the next fight where all bets went out the window and whatever came, as a result, came next.

They had to be better, far better than before, and something that could and would come as a result of all the damage done to try and fix it all when it was done.

There was a lot more to be thankful for and it was a nightmare to shift through every little piece of work when all was over when it was brushed to the side… Content only to be worked over with a fine-tooth comb as if they had been content to relax… Content to fight, to succumb as of now when all of it was over and said for now.

This was not going to be something that he could and would understand, for now, something that allowed him some sort of work now. He did not at all understand what was coming next.

This was a lot more to do with when it was all said and done as of now and did not at all know what he would say.

He cracked his knuckles and leaned on the table before he seemed to crack his knuckles before he looked downwards now.

"Clover? Talk to me, when are we going to get inside?" Ironwood asked before he raised his eyebrow at this, looking down at the ground with exhaustion.

All of it seemed to be identifiable now. He did not even know what to expect and did not at all see what could be done before the next time came down to it, all of it could be figured out for now…

An idea that could be easy to try and figure out for more and more and more as he looked downwards at the ground as he looked downwards as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

They had so damn much to try and figure out, so much to try and understand. Had he managed something else? Had he figured out something else? They had a lot more to it than you think.

He hummed, unsure and uneasy. It always ended the same way as far as she was concerned for now and would always be for now until the end of the day.

So much the better for now, so much than before… He had to keep going and find it to be better than before and it was not going to end anytime soon. He did not want to see it end anytime soon. They were able to try and relax. He wanted to be able to relax once more and more.

If only they knew, if only he had been able to try and figure it out for now and he would end up enjoying it all for all eternity as of now sadly and for good.

(With Firefly)

The last of the damaged but functioning robots collapsed into the snow, smoking, and yet in some way shape, or form seemed to try and understand what was at stake for now, unable to do more than fight through the captured base.

She looked downwards into the depths of the base, unable to do more than sigh and roll her eyes to herself.

She could not at all believe it would end the way it did purely because she did not even know for now what came next, not least of all because she found it to be too unmissable to do something about it.

They would have a lot more to see and do knowing just what came next would not be enough to fix something, it would end a proper way or not at all. Something about it all only seemed to spur her to try and get to the bottom of it.

Perhaps she knew something about it all but she did not want to risk it, he knew well enough that trying to fix it was a waste, and trying to answer truthfully was just as well a more annoying time than you think it more and more for now.

She hummed and changed her ammo, unsure of what was going on at the end of the day.

It was something that could and would continue to fail over and repeatedly because such issues were perhaps beyond them sooner or later… So soon that it became an obvious little measure of mercy, for now, that would not continue at the end of the day as he seemed to keep growing more and more as he hummed.

She sighed as she fell silent and then relaxed, unable to do more than looked downwards now, confused, and taken by complete it all for now, such issues would not be unable to be relaxed. There was just too much to try and deal with such things.

He had a lot more to try and figure out as he hummed, utterly silent as he hummed to himself and then fully and surely seemed to look upon the ground with confused and utterly miffed anger as he tired of it all for now, ready to die.

There were a lot of things that could end. This? This was not one of them and would not be, not anytime soon for now, something that would be able to be dealt with for now, something that he could deal with for now.

There were going to be problems if she did not act, problems within ideals that would be utterly dealt with for now, making it fall apart all the sweeter in ways it could not be decided upon for now.

it was just too much to try and deal with, knowing that it all hinged upon the now and what have not dealt with for now… It meant little, so much little that it might crack and fracture.

She yawned and leaped in, something that made it utterly madness for now. This problem would get off the ground and it would grow and die out.

Perhaps it was better than before as he hummed, tired but not all disturbed for now, something he could not at all deal with for now, a madness that he could relax dealing with for now.

This was not going to be fun enough, it would always be fun enough to dice through but all good things had to eventually end for now and it was a madness that would be dealt with fully and unable to relax for now, there was just something shy of insane.

It would not end well, there was just more and more interest and introspective in it.

They had a lot more of a measure to cut through as he sighed, relaxing for now.

She was about to enter before the voice from before spoke, reminding her of her mission. They had more pressing concerns to deal with and she knew that for a fact… She knew cutting through it like that would be far easier to do than anything else for now, something that could be dealt with, totally unsure of what needed to be dealt with for now.

She paused to herself, unsure of what would be dealt would, knowing it did not at all matter and not being willing to deal with it for now… There was just something else coming and something he could afford to relax.

All of it would be utterly relaxed for now.

They had too much to cut through, far too much that he would be able to relax, knowing that it would be best dealt with in its manner, it did not matter, not now and not ever at the same time.

There was something else to keep growing for now… He had a LOT more to keep dealing with than what would be dealt with for now. It would be utterly something to be done and done again and again… There was something else to be over with.

Yet? She wanted out of her as she paused to keep fighting again and again.

"Agent Firefly? You need to leave, there are other agents to try with more and more with this." She heard before she paused and then looked downwards at the time being.

She was not going to let this happen for now before she paused to keep relaxing for now at the end of the day with such an idea for now and for good at the time being.

She paused to keep growing for now and he seemed to keep thinking of what would keep growing and growing and growing with something else to be done with… She would need to grow for now.

This would not be utterly thrown for now, she wanted to keep growing now and now with such a thing to be over with for now at the time being.

She hummed and cursed, too interested in what was coming and going, too interested in it all, not wanting to keep growing, to keep relaxing for now… There was a LOT more to this, to their little game, to their little goal at the end.

She turned towards the next part, too interested in what was coming next… Not wanting to do more than relax, then end it for now… There was something chaotic about it today and for good reason.

She paused, slowly turning towards a Manta which seemed to be ready for her to board it. she was prepared for now… Prepared for now… Prepared for what else needed to be done… To be able to relax… All it did was remind her of what was coming and how well to have dealt with it well and well enough. She had so much left to do.

And it would not be utterly dealt with for now, pausing to keep thinking, too tired, too unsure, too unable to deal with it for now… She wanted to keep thinking of it for now… To think of it for now with good reason.

There was more to this, much more at the end of the day, there was something else at the end of the day… All of it was too much, chaos which she thrived in… Perhaps it meant a little bit it was too hard to have been dealt with for now.

Something about it all sent swirls across the galaxy, there was something else. She would be too interested in what came next. There was something that made her too interested in what was going on, for now, this chaos was something she had thrived in.

That? That would not suffice, there was a lot more to deal with and a lot of it made her board the mantis as she sighed.

The manta seemed to be ready to head out… And she had such ideas, such things would be harder and harder for her to subvert. Whatever the general had been up to? It was not her place to have done something that had been done and dusted with each little twist.

She would see it all done away with… Even then? It would go unnoticed for now and with skill and planning for now, she was too interested in it all for now as she sighed to try and deal with it now.

She knew the next move; she knew it was chaotic and it meant little to her… Little to nothing at the end of the day knowing what was going on and having no control over it at all when push came to shove.

Maybe she was just tired of dealing with missions where she had zero in the way of what would happen for now. She sighed as she looked to the side, more and more as she paused.

There was a lot more to try and deal with. She knew very well what was to be done next as she paused to think of it as she looked to the side of it all at the time being.

She had been too interested in the next move he made partly because she knew that it would be too interested in what needed to be done and what would do next at the time being with each little second of the day, something that could not be done in this type of way. He had been familiar with it for now as she paused.

It was not able to figure out something that would be dealt with for now. An idea which had been building in his mind… Each little moment on his mind seemed to exist with it as it came crashing down to it once more…

There was a lot more to this than before which did not at all help them. It did not help.

It could not have been dealt with lest it came down to it sooner or later, such was life as it came crashing to the ground for now as it all happened for now as it was all said and done, all was hard enough to have to deal with it.

She would not have been able to deal with it personally. No, there was to have to end either way when it came down to it as he clicked his fingers before he seemed to be dealing with it.

He had been too interested in it sooner or later, not once did she need to relax, knowing what would happen next before now.
