Chapter 4

Death of a Konoha Shinobi

Konoha, council chambers

"What!?" Everyone shouted out. Naruto covered his ears while they all shouted, When he uncovered his ears Tsunade spoke up. "What do you mean by the dragonborn's death Naruto?" She asked the young blonde. "I mean every important dragon born died due to assassins or using a certain special technique during battle." He said simply. Hiashi Hyuga grew curious at the special technique, "Excuse me Uzumaki-San, but this technique that the dragonborns use, what does it do and can it be taught?" The Hyuga clan head asked hopefully intergrating this into the Byakugan. Naruto took a deep breath, knowing that they wanted his secrets. "It entails the Dragonborn who use it to completely transform into a dragon…but to do so kills the soul of the Dragonborn turning it into a statue of a dragon. While in this form the wielder loses sight of it's goals and destroys everything, essentially 'cleansing' it." He said, shocking everyone. "So you will eventually turn into a dragon that will rampage then turn into a statue after it's purpose is done?" Tsunade asked.

"Hmm that sounds about right." Naruto said aloud, shocking everyone on the council to their core on how callous Naruto is sounding to Konoha. "How could you think about Konoha in such a manner! We raised you demon, your whore of a moth-." Started Hiroko Nochizawa, the economic district council member. It was at that moment a wooden spike impaled his skull. Everyone looked to see where it came from and it came from Naruto who's eyes were shadowed. "Mokuton:Dashiki no Jutsu." He said. His left arm was covered in wooden spikes that could be easily used for cutting or stabbing. The whole Shinobi side of the council was shocked to their core since they saw the one thing that didn't appear since Hashirama Senju was still alive.

"Mokuton…." Inoichi murmured hiashi was also curious and yet he wanted to have it in his family he'll talk to him after everything is done.

"Naruto-San, how do you have the ability to do mokuton?" Shikaku asked the blonde dragon born. "The wood elves and Hashirama had a meeting where Hashirama had given them a sample of his cells, this was made so I can act as a fully working citizen." He simply stated. "B-but that's forbidden to do to yourself." Koharu said. Naruto turned to the old lady. "While that may be true,I am not a Shinobi, not anymore at least." He said. Which confused everyone. "Wasn't this meeting supposed to be if you can be a Shinobi or not?" Hamura asked, Naruto laughed. "There is no point in this meeting,it is just so I can tell you I'll help with the upcoming invasion. "What invasion?" Choza asked. Naruto turned to him. " The chunin exams are coming up, yes?" He asked. "Yes, so what boy?" Hamura spat out. He didn't like where this was going.

"Well to be honest,I'd much rather let you all burn while orochimaru invades during the exams." He said. The council was in a uproar, how dare this man before them say that about Konoha, Naruto raised his hands to stop them. "However the case is, I was… persuaded to come help you." He said glancing at Danzo discreetly. " I have a plan." He started explaining on how he's going to help during the exams. When he was done everyone was about to leave. "Naruto-San may I speak with you in private?" Hiashi asked politely. "Of course Hiashi-san. I will wait for you in the main hall when everyone else is gone." Naruto said to the Hyuga leader.

When everyone else left and it was just Hiashi and Naruto. " So Hiashi-san what would you like?" Naruto asked him. "I'll be straight with you Naruto-San, I want you to marry Hinata, My daughter. Will you accept?" Hiashi asked The blonde Dragon born. "Naruto thought for a moment. " And I have a question for you Hiashi-san. Why are you doing this? For your daughter or for the clan? and I travel alot you would have to let her travel with me if we're going to be wed." He said Hiashi thought this over and said. "I know Naruto-San that's why I'm asking you to bring her with you." Naruto didn't agree but he had something to say. "How about this, I know you drew up a marriage contract I will sign it however if Hinata disagrees the signature is voided?" He asked Hiashi. The clan leader agreed, so an agreement was made.

~Akatsuki base, with Nagato and Konan~

"The Ninetails has returned to Konoha, Nagato what path should we do to capture him?" Konan,the blue haired Angel as the land of rain called her now. "We leave to capture him." He said. The door to his room opened and 'Tobi' or Madara as he wanted to be called now came through and he began to talk. "Nagato, I want to capture this one. He will be different from the others, I —." he was interested by Nagato's rinnegan eyes, which terrified 'tobi' more than the real Madara Uchiha. "Konan and I will take care of the Ninetails, there is a hostage we can take, then the Ninetails will bow before the power of a god." He told 'tobi'. "Very well, Pein-sama after all Tobi will be a good boy and stay here." The masked man said. Inside he was seething. But he relented hopefully it'll work. After that Nagato and Konan left for Konoha.

~The top of the Hokage mansion~

Tsunade felt uneasy, that's when she spotted the man floating towards her. Nagato floated down to her. "Give us the Ninetails or suffered the wrath of a god." The deva path said. Tsunade signaled the anbu, who appeared next to her. "What do you want with Naruto uzumaki?" She asked the orange haired man. "That isn't that your concern, give me the Ninetails or we'll kill her. Tsunade noticed another path holding Shizune hostage, however when they met eyes Shizune stabbed the path's leg which They didn't feel so after that incident the path sucked her soul out and Shizune dropped down lifeless. "You have angered god, you shall know pain. Pein floated above the middle of the village and stretched out his hands "Shinra Tensei." He said.the center of Konoha started folding in itself till it reached the outer walls, everything was destroyed.

~Konoha streets, with Rigmor~

~a few minutes prior~

Rigmor walked around in the streets, she noticed that the villagers was staring at her and whispering. "Hey isn't that the foreigner that came with that boy?" One villager asked incredulously. Rigmor shadowed her eyes. "Yeah that's her, man I want revenge on that demon brat, but lady hokage banned us from harming him. The other villager said disappointed. "Hey what about harming the foreigner? Lady hokage said nothing about her." The first villager said. And so they followed pop rigmor to training grounds 7 although nobody realized it yet. So they threw a stone at her but it didn't hit due to it being caught by someone who jumped down. "Kakashi Hatake, why are you here?!" The angry villagers asked.

"I'm saving you a life of pain and torture and this is private training grounds…leave." He said, while drawing his father's sword. It was same as the one that he used in the 3rd Shinobi war however this one was locked up in his father's room with a note saying it's now his to wield. The villagers looked mad after this warning so they grumbled and walked away. When they were gone, Rigmor spoke up. "Thank you Hatake-san, it's better than last time we met." She said, but before he could say anything , someone else spoke up. "That's his Job Rigmor, don't thank someone for doing their job." The figure spoke behind Kakashi. Kakashi turned around and saw that it was Naruto. "Naruto how have you been?" Kakashi asked nicely, remembering the fact that he put a chidori in his chest. Kakashi never wanted to do it but he was getting in the way of the mission, now that he saw that Naruto's short was still torn he winced, because he can still see the scar that his dragon scales were trying to cover.

"I'm ok Hatake-san, I will take Rigmor home with me" he said very coldly. "Mah, mah, Naruto is that anyway to talk to your Sensei?" He asked . knowing that he will be screwed as soon as he said that. Naruto turned his head showing one of his eyes were red like the Ninetails. "Sensei? Hahahaha, I'd much rather pull out your heart and eat it after what you did to me." He said coldly. " It was at that moment Naruto realized something was off. "Come on out of your hiding spot or I'll burn this place to the ground." Naruto said out loud and went for Rigmor, but was too late because konan was holding her hostage after she got out of hiding. "Don't come any closer Ninetails, lower your weapons and surrender." The blue haired beauty said forcefully, about to cut Rigmor's throat open.

Naruto thought up a few plans however only one involved Rigmor alive. He sighed and attacked Kakashi. " What are you doing, Naruto!?" Kakashi said, however Naruto sent him directions to find help telepathically. "I'm trying to kill you Hatake." He said, however kakashi escaped with a smoke bomb. Konan watched this unfolding. "Hurry up and surrender I don't have all day." She didn't care about Hatake escaping her priority was the Ninetails. Naruto stopped and growled and stabbed the sword and trident in the ground.the burst of energy that Naruto had charged shattered both the blade of the ice monarch and his Trident. "If I surrender will you leave her here?" He asked Konan. "Only if you leave that here too she pointed to Azura's bane and stabbed it in the ground however it didn't shatter like the others. He then came forward unarmed and defenseless however Konan knew he was far from defenseless. So she threw Rigmor on the ground near Azura's bane and they left towards Konoha.

~Woods near Konoha~

Kakashi ran away he knew he had to find help however someone jumped in the way so he got ready for a battle. "Where is Naruto?" Itachi asked him after coming out of the shadows. Kakashi wasn't stupid he knew Itachi worked for Naruto. "He got captured by a blue haired woman with a paper flower on her head." Kakashi said, while trying to catch his breath. Itachi took a deep breath. "Konan… I knew they would come for Naruto, Wait here." He said. Unsealing his twin swords, and ran off to find them. Kakashi rested for a bit after that hoping that they will be alright.

~Konoha, Main square~

Sakura was shocked to say the least. First she spotted a man floating in the sky, next that happened was the village shook and everything was destroyed in a matter of seconds. She really hoped Naruto would help. Currently she was on top of a ruined building when she spotted him, Naruto in chains, walking towards the man that destroyed the village, she hoped he would be ok.

~Konoha, center of the destroyed village~

Nagato saw Naruto through the deva path and it immediately confirmed his suspicions, he would have to fight against family. "Good job Konan." Pein said. Konan bowed and left for the hideout where the real Nagato was. "Any last words Ninetails?" Pein asked. Naruto spit blood in front of Pein. "If you are going to kill Me just do a correct job, otherwise I'll eat you." He said while showing his fangs he grew from the disease. For a second pein was scared that the person in front of him was not human, however that didn't matter so he got his chakra spear and struck. Naruto had his eyes closed knowing he was about to die however when he heard that squelch and no pain he opened his eyes and was shocked.

What he saw was that Itachi was in front of him and took the blow to the heart. After pein pulled out his spear Itachi crumbled to the ground. Naruto got to where he was. "You idiot I told you to protect me in cyrodill not Konoha." Naruto said while crying. "Don't worry about me Naruto, however give a dying man his last words." Naruto nodded and Itachi whispered in his ear and Naruto's eyes went wide when Itachi took his last breath. Naruto was just sitting there with Itachi's dead body, and his body went into autopilot he started the forbidden transformation of dragonborns "Ryū no me." He said with his eyes closed and a Ball of light covered Naruto momentarily blinding Pein. Nagato never seen anything like this…this pure energy and raw power emitted from Naruto. The light grew and when it blinded most of the villagers, it faded away revealing a dark purple dragon in Naruto's spot with it's eyes closed, when it opened his eyes it roared to the skies.

~Nagato's Tree hideout~

Both Konan and Nagato were scared beyond belief whatever that Naruto turned into was going to come for them soon…"Konan prepare for his arrival please and quickly." Nagato said urgently.

~Ruined Hokage Tower~

Tsunade saw the 50 foot dragon and knew what was happening. She bent on her knees and started crying because Naruto said this would happen. Anbu and Sakura came with Hinata. "Lady Tsunade, what should we do we can't defeat that and where's Naruto~Kun wasn't he here with you?" Hinata said with worry. Tsunade turned towards them. "This is a sad day…. Naruto Uzumaki is no more…." She said and she fell down crying again. Hinata saw the beast and saw it's eyes, it's eyes reminded her of Naruto. And she knew that he probably did something drastic. So she cried with Tsunade, for she knew… dragons were not seen for hundreds or thousands of years and this was Naruto..

~Tree hideout~

The dragon has arrived at the tree and blew off most of the paper. It stared at Nagato and waited for him to speak before sending him to the bottom pits of Hell. So Nagato explained how he was in pain because of how yahiko died for Akatsuki and Konan and how he was in dispair about making peace in the world he pleaded with the dragon to answer to peace. So the dragon roared and started to alter time. When the dragon was done, the body came alive with millions of others that died in the invasion but couldn't do Itachi's life so when it finally finished he roared and started to turn to stone.
