A/N Alright guys here it is. Sorry this took as long as it did I really couldn't deal with this chapter being mediocre but since you waited long enough I won't keep rewriting it. I hope you enjoy it I did my best.
I do not own glee, characters or storylines.
Quinn stared at herself in the mirror and couldn't believe the day she's been waiting for since she was five is actually happening.
The blonde's hands trembled as they lightly brushed down the fabric of her wedding dress.
A Vera Wang to be exact.
She couldn't believe in the span of a year and half how her life has changed.
She is now a mother of two; about to marry the woman of her dreams and finally has her family back. Her family that became bigger the moment she chose to be honest about her feelings.
All the pain and tears over the years and hardships they had to overcome together has led them here.
Quinn would be lying if she said she wasn't afraid that she was actually in a coma somewhere and her mind was just dreaming this up as a way to cope.
She's marrying Rachel literally in 20 minutes.
She couldn't believe it.
"Nervous?" Judy asked softly.
Quinn's eyes cast to her mother and she still couldn't believe the woman was there helping her with her hair as her sister put the finishing touches on her make up, with Grams preparing her veil and Beth staring at her with wide eyes of enchanted awe.
Marisol, Santana, and Britney were doing their best to help in anyway possible.
Quinn had gone through nine months of pregnancy alone.
She had given birth to Beth alone.
She had painstakingly endured Beth's first years of life with the late night wails, sleep deprivation, swollen breast, aching body in general.
Alone.
Quinn had experienced the biggest life altering moments alone.
Not this time; this time they are here. Every important person that means everything to her is here to witness one of her greatest dreams that she had predicted as a child.
They are here to witness her marry her best friend Rachel Berry.
"More like ready." Quinn replied with sparkling eyes, rosy cheeks, and a blinding excited smile to match.
"Then let's get you married!" Judy replied.
All the women cheered.
"Oh my-look at you!" Shelby gushed.
"Honey you look gorgeous!" Hiram followed.
The two already crying; Shelby doing her best not to ruin her make up.
Hiram and Shelby had helped Rachel get ready along with Alison.
"Thank you." Rachel replied as she blushed.
The brunette turned to the mirror with awestruck eyes still in disbelief that it was actually happening. That she Rachel Berry, school pariah was going to marry Quinn Fabray. It's her wildest dream come true.
"How do you feel?" Shelby asked.
"Like this isn't real life. I can't believe it. It is real isn't it? I'm not still in a coma, am I?!" Rachel asked as her eyes took on one of desperate horror.
Hiram and Shelby chuckled emotionally.
"Yes, honey it's real." Hiram assured.
"You look beautiful, Rach." Alison said.
"Wow..." Rachel said softly in disbelief. "I'm getting married." The brunette began to giggle in emotional excitement. "I'm getting married!"
They all cheered and hollered in happiness.
"Then let's not keep that formidable woman waiting." Hiram added.
"Can you believe it? Our girls are getting married." Russell said in awe.
"No, honestly I can't." Leroy replied. "It's crazy to think that years ago they were just gurgling babies with missing teeth fighting over a plush toy."
Russell bellowed in laughter.
"Oh man, you remember the screaming match they had over your keychain when they were ten months?"
"Oh yes, vividly!" Leroy cackled.
"It's been one hell of a ride but I'm glad they've made it."
"Same, through thick and thin."
"Through thick and thin." Russell agreed with a nod.
"Places everyone!" They heard the wedding planner call out.
Soon all the murmurs in the aisles settled. The ceremony was held outside in the courtyard of Quinn and Rachel's elementary old school.
They were to exchange vows under the tree that Rachel first purposed to Quinn when they were five and where they also shared their first kiss. The entire street had been closed down for the occasion.
Leroy walked to the tent Rachel was waiting at so he could walk her down as Hiram took his seat up front as did Judy, grandma Beth, and Marisol. Russell walked to Quinn's tent and soon the music began
Beth Began her walk as the flower girl then took her place on Quinn's side of the alter.
Slowly the bridesmaids and Man of honor began marching down.
Santana and Britney.
Alison and Jade.
Shelby and Schmidt whose holding Asher the ring barrier.
Rachel stepped out first.
The moment Leroy's eyes landed on her his throat constricted and he chocked on a sob.
"Babygirl." He whispered in awe. "You look extraordinary."
Rachel smiled doing her best not to cry. "Thank you, daddy."
Leroy held out his arm and with a loving smile and soft eyes said: Allow me.
"Always."
Rachel slipped her hand into his arm and the two made their way down the aisle.
All the faces that had helped she and Quinn make it to their wedding day blinded her with the amount of love and support shining in their eyes.
It was overwhelming for her because she didn't have this not even a year and half ago. She felt her heart overflowing with joy. The two made it to the end of the aisle where Leroy kissed her cheek then released her.
Soon the music cued again and Rachel felt her body jolt with excitement.
Quinn stepped out of the tent and Russell lost his breath.
The man could not stop the overwhelming emotions. He could have lost this moment.
Because of his choices and behavior he could have lost his chance to walk down the aisle with this beautiful woman he helped to create. He couldn't believe he was blessed to witness her on her wedding day.
Quinn wasn't fairing any better she reached out and cupped his cheek.
"Oh dad... please don't cry."
"How can I not, my princess is getting married." He whimpered.
"Dad."
"I'm so proud of the woman you've turned out to be and I am honored to be your father."
Quinn whimpered and he pulled her into a hug.
"I love you daddy."
"I love you too princess." Russell cleared his throat then released her. "Now, let's get you down that aisle before Rachel has a panic attack."
The two chuckled at that knowing Rachel would think Quinn ran away.
They took the necessary steps around the tent and it was Quinn's turn to lose her breath.
Rachel looked stunning in her floor length dress. Quinn almost forgot to walk at the sight of her.
The blonde knew the moment Rachel saw her. The brunette's eyes rounded out and her mouth parted in awe.
Rachel gasped at the sight of the blonde as she lost all function it took to think, breathe, and speak.
Quinn looked devastatingly gorgeous. Rachel swallowed thickly as her mouth went dry at the sight of Quinn in her ballgown off the shoulder wedding dress. She looked like royalty at it's finest. All the brunette could think is how is she this blessed to have her?
The entire walk the two only had eyes for each other. The tears reflected on both of their faces as their lips trembled to hold in their emotions as the distance closed between them.
Quinn and Russell reached the front and turn to one another as he kissed her cheek then Rachel held out her hand and Russell released Quinn to her.
Finally standing before each other the two stared with unadulterated awe and unconditional love shining from within toward one another.
"I'd like to take this time to..." The minister began.
That's all Rachel heard as she stared into Quinn's eyes, lost in the depths of swirling color that made her feel like she was floating through a starbursts of multiple galaxies.
It wasn't until Quinn squeezed her hands did sound return for the brunette.
"Now it's time for the brides to recite their vows. Quinn?"
Quinn swallowed thickly with nerves. The blonde cleared her throat then began to speak and all Rachel could do was wait in desperation to hear her favorite voice.
"Rachel, I've been thinking for weeks how to write my vows. I honestly had difficulty because expressing my feelings for you is so indescribable."
"I didn't know how to say all that I wanted to say, so I wrote my vows in the only way I feel it could do justice to what I feel for you. I wrote you a poem. I hope you like it."
Rachel's eyes shined as her smile beamed. Quinn chuckled nervously as she cleared her throat once more and took a deep breath before staring into the eyes of the love of her life.
"Sometimes I wonder if I'm dreaming... This life with you leaves me disbelieving."
"Everything about you just doesn't seem real. Then I hear your laugh and melt at it's peals."
"Every time I look at you I just can't help but stare. I'm always captivated by the shine of your eyes and soft of your hair."
"I never thought that I would ever know what it feels like to be loved so unconditionally."
"It goes beyond anything physically."
"You've reached deep within my depths so viscerally."
"I never thought my heart would ever discover it's remedy."
"There are so many of those 'never' thoughts that seem never ending. The cycle continues because with me you're never pretending. It seems the only thing your love is ever doing is constantly extending."
"I know this as nothing but factual truth. Because everyday I feel something new and it always has to do with you."
"The first time I listened to you sing when we were five. I felt like I was floating and touching the skies."
"The first time I felt euphoric laughter was when we played. We ran across the school yard for what felt like days."
"The first time I felt intoxicated you were reading to me, then I said I loved you even then it wasn't easy."
"I ran off in tears and you chased me pleading. Your strawberry ring pop, I swear, I cherished before eating."
"So many of my firsts belong to you... I know for certain deep in every fiber of my being, that every last will too."
"I can't express what having you love me feels like perfectly but I can tell you what loving you does to me."
"It makes me happy, it makes me sad, it makes me annoyed and it fills me with joy. It makes me worry and it makes me weep, it makes sigh contently and it helps me sleep."
"Loving you is a constellation of what makes life so unique. Every part of you lives within me, the way you kiss me I'm rendered weak."
"I'll never let go of your hand in this life and beyond the grand of heavens light. I'll never give us up without a fight."
"Our love goes beyond anything mortal and I promise you baby... You and I are eternal."
"If there's one thing I hope you will take from what we share is this, that for your family... By my words you can trust. Despite the world's opinion, you... are enough for us.
Rachel's eyes over flowed heavily. After everything she's been through.
After all the people she tried to give her heart to, she never felt good enough. She never felt seen or heard.
She always accepted the mistreatment because she had always felt unworthy of those who claimed to love her and thought their opinions of her being a freak were true but here in this moment Quinn has shattered that belief.
"Oh baby please don't cry, I'm here." Quinn whispered.
Rachel bit her lip to keep in the small sob and the blonde gentle as ever reached out her hand to cup her cheek, wiping away the tears.
There wasn't a dry eye in the aisle. The minister cleared her throat. "Rachel?"
Rachel cleared her throat and took a deep shuttering breath.
"Lucy... Some might say that I stare too much but when you're near me I can't help but to."
"Not only because to me you're beauty is beyond words but because I still can't believe that this is real, that you are real and that you've chosen to love me."
"I constantly relive the moment you first stood before me. I still remember the way my heart felt like it was released from my chest and attached itself to you."
"It took some time to figure out how at five years old it felt that way but I did..."
"I loved the way you were so shy but some how still brave. I loved the way you were kind. I loved the fact that you read instead of played, I loved the way out of every other kid you made me feel like I existed."
"Because I always felt like a ghost among the living even as a child. I only knew of cruelty by the world around me but you..."
"You took my hand and gave me such an amazing gift that was so pure and full of acceptance. A gift that my battered and withered heart never realized it needed."
"I felt revived because of you and I found that as adults you've resuscitated me once again. I found that I love you in new ways with new reasons."
"I love the way you love our children so patiently, gently, accepting, and full of understanding. I love how even when it seems like there's no time, you somehow make the world stop for us."
"I love that when you are near I feel so safe, like, because of you darkness doesn't exist. Because of you I feel peace within myself that I didn't know I could feel."
"Because of you I never have to wonder if tomorrow will bring a better day because it already is with you in it."
"I sometimes wonder to myself how out of everyone in the universe it's me who gets to love you and be loved by you?"
"How out of everyone in the universe I get to experience all of you?"
"Every habit."
"Every tick."
"You're eyes fluttering open in the morning. Your deep exhale as you just begin to fall asleep."
"I literally still can't believe that I get to stand beside you when you brush your teeth."
"There are so many things that I can list that I still can't believe that I get to bare witness to and every piece of it is all part of you."
"It makes me strive more to be everything you need but I know chasing perfection is futile."
"I know everything won't always be a good day. I know there will be mistakes."
"I can't promise that I'll be able to be everything you want and need because I don't know."
"I don't know if I'll always know how to love you. "
"I don't know if I'll always know how to make you smile."
"I don't know if my hugs will always make everything better."
"I don't know if my words will always be the guidance that you need but what I do is I'll never stop trying."
"I'll never give up because I know you and I are meant to be."
"I love you with every ounce of me and nothing and no one will change that."
"I know that everyday you and I will evolve but I still look forward to it because everyday you change I get to meet you all over again. I get to learn the new facets and pieces that make up you. I get to fall in love with you for the billionth time."
"No matter what happens on our journey I promise you, you will always be accepted."
"I promise you that I will never leave you."
"I will always forgive you."
"I will always cherish you."
"There is no point of me without you and I know this deep in my soul because when I envision myself old on porch, rocking in my chair. I'm not staring out at the vastness before me. I'm still staring at you because still to that moment I can't help but to."
Quinn stared in awe as her tears fell silently. Her lips trembling dangerously. The minister sniffled as she smiled.
"The rings please."
Even as Rachel and Quinn were passed their rings they did so blindly because they couldn't stop gazing into each others eyes so deeply.
"Quinn repeated after me, with this ring, I thee wed."
"With this ring I thee wed." Quinn said as she slid the ring onto Rachel's fingers with shaking hands.
"Rachel repeat after me, with this ring I thee wed."
"With this ring I thee wed." The brunette said breathlessly.
"By the power invested in me I now pronounce you wife and wife, you make kiss your bride."
"Finally." (Quinn)
"You don't have to tell me twice. (Rachel)
The two spoke simultaneously before their lips crashed together with passion as the crowd burst with cheers and applause with some saucy wolf whistling for the tongue down that was happening at the alter.
Literally it seemed like they weren't going to stop.
"THERE ARE CHILDREN PRESENT!" (Jade)
"Babe I don't think they care." (Alison)
"THAT'S RIGHT GET YOUR MACK ON Q! SHOW THAT HOBBIT WHAT SHE'S IN FOR!" (Santana)
"THAT'S SO HOT!" (Britney)
"Are they even breathing?" (Schmidt)
"Probably not, Rachel's got my set of lungs." (Shelby)
"I'm very happy for them but must they scar me?" (Hiram)
"I don't think they actually care." (Leroy.)
"That's definitely your daughter up there. You remember our wedding, your father couldn't look at you for a week!" (Russell)
"What can I say, like mother like daughter." (Judy)
The rest of the crowd consisting of the rest of the team as well as extended family and friends all laughed that the two who seemed oblivious to everyone around them. Finally the twoo parted breathless with blinding smiles. They turned to the crown lifting their locked hands.
"I DID IT! I BAGGED THE HEAD CHEERLEADER!" Rachel bragged.
Quinn burst with laughter as she blushed a pretty hue. The two descended the stairs together as everyone clapped as the music cued their exit. Their reception their next destination before their honeymoon.
"I knew I made the right choice when I five." Quinn said with a smirked. "You're the one."
"Well it isn't complete without this." Rachel said as she pulled out a strawberry ring pop."
Quinn melted whilst simultaneously bursting with laughter and a shake of her head. "God I love you."
"I love you too."
