One day, Gunvolt was finishing up a mission by destroying the Sumeragi's main server in Kyoto. Suddenly, it rebooted, followed by a snicker. Gunvolt whipped around and to his surprise, nobody was there.
'Man these missions are starting to take their toll. I guess I might have to take my vacation early.' Gunvolt thought before returning to QUILL HQ.
"Welcome back man, how'd the mission treat ya?" Zeno greeted.
"Okay I guess, something weird happened." Gunvolt answered.
"Huh? What happened?" Zeno questioned.
"After I shut down the computer it reactivated. It was strange, almost as if someone knew I was there and decided to reboot it." Gunvolt elucidated.
"That's weird, that'll definitely be something for the report." Zeno commented.
Moniqa then walked up to the two.
"So GV, how was the mission?" Moniqa queried.
"It was rather weird. I shut down the Sumeragi's main server and it rebooted right after." Gunvolt explained.
"That is strange." Moniqa agreed before walking back to the servers.
"Well, I'm going write the report." Gunvolt notified before going to his desk, sitting down and writing the report.
Back at the Sumeragi's main server, the culprit who reactivated the server to be no other than a boy of 5'10 with brown hair and brown eyes wearing a brown long sleeve hoodie.
The boy was also wearing brown jeans and brown converse shoes. The boy then pressed a finger to a com in his right ear.
"Allen here, Gunvolt's mission failed." Allen informed.
"Excellent work Allen, you may rest." Nova answered.
Allen then removed his finger from over his com and walked back to his computer downstairs on the seventh floor.
"Hey Allen." A male voice greeted.
That voice belonged to no other than Rick, Allen's best friend.
Rick was 5'11 with brown hair and green eyes.
"What's up with the new outfit?" Allen asked.
Rick was wearing a black short sleeve shirt, slim blue jeans and black Nike's with red highlights.
"I got a raise." Rick answered.
"Awesome man." Allen congratulated.
"Isn't it your fifteenth birthday today?" Rick queried.
"Yeah, why?" Allen questioned.
Rick then handed Allen a seven eleven bag which Allen then took and opened it.
"No way, it's the Primo ex nine! This phone isn't even available to the public yet! This is amazing! How'd you manage to get one!?" Allen exclaimed.
"I signed up to be a beta tester for the phone which they let me keep. I still like my old one better so I thought I'd give it to ya since it's your birthday and all." Rick explained.
"This is awesome man! You're the best!" Allen beamed before high fiving Rick.
"Anytime bro." Rick smiled.
