"A-are you sure this is t-this is the island Naruto?"Yami asked.

"Yeah why?"

"B-because it's c-cold as fuck here!"Arashi said.

"It's not that cold,"Naruto said.

"Of course you're not feeling it. You're the only person with a jacket!"

"Don't be salty Arashi. I told you to buy one and what did you say? 'What will that help me with.'"Naruto said, mimicking Arashi.

"Ah whatever! The cold's got nothing on me anyway."Arashi said.

Yami laughed.

"Arashi, the temperature's are frigid so just keep covering yourself unless you want to get frostbite."

"Look. The house is just up ahead."Naruto said.

"Traffy, look! Naruto's in the newspaper!"

"The old man already showed me Bepo."

"Oh."Bepo said with a sad face.

"I can read it again with you if you want to,"Law said.

"Yay!"

He chuckled. Same old Bepo.

Knock*

"Someone's at the door, old man!"Law yelled.

"Get it yourself you lazy ass!"Wolf said.

Yup, the old man hadn't changed a bit also.

"What do you wa…"He stopped short as he observed the people at the door.

"What's up with the crazy look? You thought I was dead or something?"Naruto asked.

"Just didn't expect to see you this early. By the way, who're those guys?"Law said as he pointed to the two people standing near the door.

"N-naruto. If this guy doesn't get out of the way, I'll knock him out asap!"

"No one's knocking anyone out Arashi. Let them in, they're with me."

He opened the door wide.

"Blankets! Blankets! Where the hell are the blankets!"

"Up stairs. Now quiet down!"Wolf said.

"Yo old man! You haven't changed a bit."Naruto said.

"Neither have you, you disrespectful bastard. Now can you quiet down. I'm trying to read."

"Naruto!"Bepo said as he landed on Naruto's back.

"Woah Bepo. You've gained a lot of weight over the years."

"It's been eleven years Naruto. Of course I've gained weight."Bepo said.

Naruto chuckled.

"Right. Silly me. Now back to the old man. What're you reading anyway?"

He was met with silence.

"He's ignoring you. Just leave him be for a while. He'll tell you later."Law said.

"So what happened? Why are you and Bepo the only ones here?"Naruto asked.

"What do you mean?"

"I thought you'd recruit some people for our crew."

"Didn't tell me to. Plus, the people of this island hate pirates."

"And a ship."

"Left it somewhere in a cave. The old man over there tried to use it and almost drowned in the process."

"And a hug?"

"The hug is… wait what?"

"C'mon. Don't I get a hug? It's been eleven years."

"So what?'

"C'mon. I know you want it."Naruto said, opening his arms wide.

Law just stood there for a few seconds just looking at him with a look that he could well read saying,'Not here.'

"I know you want it."

"Oh fine."He said as he drew nearer, hugging him in the process.

"Knew you couldn't resist,"Naruto said.

"Yay hugs!"Bepo yelled as he jumped on both of their heads.

"Get down, Bepo!"Both said.

"Aw, you guys are so mean."

"So warm and comfy."Arashi said as he and Yami entered the room.

"You still haven't explained who these guys are."Law whispered to his ear.

"Oi you chumps! Introduce yourselves!"Naruto yelled.

Law sweat dropped.

"My names Yami and I'm the smartest of these two idiots. And Naruto, don't ever order me around."

"I'll be doing it the minute we step on the ship. Arashi, your turn."

"Names Arashi and I'm the strongest out of all of us here."

"He's not."Naruto whispered to Law's ear.

"I heard that!"

He was about to retort but was cut short by the giggling sound. He turned back to see where it came from and looked at everyone.

"Not me."Both Yami and Arashi said.

"Not me either,"Bepo said.

"And it isn't me and Law. So that means…"

They all turned their heads towards the kitchen to see the old man, replaying the giggling sound they heard earlier.

"Hahahaha! Did you guys hear that? The Old man's a pervert!"Naruto said.

The whole room burst into laughter.

"H-hey! I am not a pervert!"Wolf yelled.

"Then what's that book you're reading?"Arashi asked.

"None of your damn business! Now, why don't you guys go outside and leave me alone to my reading?"

"Will do. Take us to the ship Law."Naruto said as he walked out the door.

"Law? I thought his name was traffy."

"Hahahaha. Ya know what, we'll call him that from now on."

"Call me whatever you want, fishcake."

"I knew it meant fishcake!"Arashi said.

"It was obvious,"Yami said.

"It's maelstrom you idiots!"

"Close the door before you get out you idiots!"

Wolf sighed. Good thing they'd be out of his ass from tomorrow.

"This. Is. Awesome! Where the hell did you get this traffy?"Naruto asked.

"Found it wrecked on some island so I fixed it."

"How do you even fix something like this? Must've taken weeks,"Yami said.

"No kidding. It took me five months to get it done."

"Five months? This looks like it could take even years!"Arashi yelled.

"For someone like you who's dumb enough, it could take you your whole life."Yami said, examining the ship.

"Why's there death written on the ship…oh."Naruto said.

"Yeah. Why is it there? Or was it there when you found it?"Yami asked.

"Story for another ti…"

"It's okay Naruto. I'll tell them."Law said.

"But…"

"It's just a brief explanation. Relax will ya."Law said.

Law turned to them.

"It's just something to remember someone special to me. No big deal."Law said.

"Full explanation?"Yami asked.

"When we get to sea,"Naruto interrupted.

"In fact, why don't we all get death written on our hands? It'll be cool."Naruto suggested.

"Yeah! Sounds epic!"Arashi said.

"I really don't care,"Yami said.

"Yay tattoos!"Bepo exclaimed.

"Um Bepo? I don't think it's gonna be possible for you."Arashi said.

"Smartest thing Arashi's ever said,"Yami said.

"Why you!"

"Anyway. Sorry Bepo. We can write on your boiler suit instead."Naruto said.

"No biggie."

"Great! We'll do it tomorrow."Naruto said.

"It's really not…"

He stopped as he felt someone's hand on his shoulder.

"Yes it is. He needs to be remembered."Naruto whispered.

"Now why don't we check the inside. Best rooms mine!"Naruto exclaimed as he jumped onto the ship.

"No. It's mine!"Arashi yelled as he followed.

"Hey. Wait for me!"Bepo yelled.

Yami just shook his head.

"Idiots. So, you coming?"Yami asked.

"I'll be up in a while,"Law said.

"Alright."

He laughed. Yup. Just as he thought. His idiotic brother hadn't changed a bit.

"So Mr Yellow Death. What happened before you got here? Heard you were caught by the navy."Law said as he lay in his bed.

Night had come by very fast and with the things they did today, a good night's sleep might be the best for all of them.

"Oh that? Totally forgot about it."

"So what happened?"

"I just let myself be captured to teach the navy a lesson. Wasn't that big of a deal."

"Wrong about that. It's all over the news. Everyone in the North blue's afraid of you know."

"Isn't that how it should be?"Naruto asked.

"Yes and no."

"What?"

"It's good for your pirate status but your social status will just go down hill. Imagine we're going to get supplies and the store owner see's you. There'll be chaos everywhere."

"Leave it to you to point out my flaws."

Law laughed.

"Isn't that what brothers do?"

Naruto chuckled. Then a silence fell. It was good for Naruto only because he wanted a night's sleep and not being bombarded with his brothers' questions.

"You know, I've seen a look on your face earlier when you were looking at me. What's wrong?"

Can't a guy just have some peace.

"I was just thinking of something."

"Naruto."

He sighed. Sometimes, his brother could be a really big asshole.

"In a village I was staying in five years ago, I was kidnapping bandits and those people who hurt the people in the village. Some regarded me as a hero while some were just scared of me. I didn't care what they thought as long as all of them were safe."

Law listened. He'd finally hear a glimpse of Naruto's past.

"Then one day, a gang was trying to hurt this girl and her mom so I beat them up and saved them. When I was just about to leave…"He stopped.

Why'd he stop? Did something bad happen? Did he see something?

"When I was just about to leave, this strange guy appeared outta nowhere and started muttering, 'You're my ticket to freedom," and, 'Get stronger so that you can face me in the future.' I was scared shitless even though he didn't show it."

"And what happened. Did he do something to you?"

"He just left. Just disappeared."

"So why are you worried about me? He basically said you're his target."Law asked.

"I'm just scared that he may try something with you, maybe Arashi and even Yami. Who knows? Maybe he's even watching us right now."

"He's given you, Naruto. Time to train and become strong. He may be watching us but I don't think he'll attack any one of us. Not yet anyway."

"So we're safe for now."

"For now at least. Maybe not for a few years but for now."

"Alright. With that out of the way, I can start my training."

"Maybe when we get to sea. The old man will kill you if you destroy his house. Not to mention the people of the village hate pirates."

"Sure. But first, you gotta show me your new devil fruit powers. I've been dying to see them all these years."Naruto said.

"Only if you show me that new power you went to train for with that red-haired guy."Law said.

"Deal."

They both laughed at that. Even though they were separated for years, it seems like they've both still got each others' back.

"Touchy reunion and I hate to spoil it but can you guys go to sleep already?"Wolf said behind the door.

"You really want us out of your ass real quick old man."Naruto said.

"Yeah I do. And if you don't sleep, I'm afraid it'll be years before you're out."

The three of them laughed at that. It brought back good memories from all those years.

"Hope you have a bad night Naruto,"Law said.

"You too, traffy."Naruto said.

"Out you all go."Wolf said as he carried all their belongings to the ship.

"You've got good muscles for your age old man. Sure you don't want to join us."

"No. I'm good staying here."

"Suit yourself,"Law said.

"Got the camera!"Arashi yelled.

"I can't believe you talked me into getting a picture with you before you leave."Wolf said.

"We really didn't talk you into it. We just threatened to light your perverted books on fire and stay here forever."Yami said.

"You remind me of Naruto when he was young,"Wolf said.

"Is that a compliment or an insult?"

"Insult."

Bonk.*

"Why'd you hit me you brat!"Wolf said, rubbing his head.

"For saying that."

"And me?"Yami asked.

"For asking that stupid question."

"Can you guys get over here! I wanna get out to sea asap!"Arashi yelled.

"Are we all here?"Law asked.

"Yup. And Bepo, get down from my back."Yami said.

"But you're so soft,"Bepo said.

"Just take the picture,"Wolf said.

"Three, two, one!"Arashi yelled.

Shutter.*

"I'll go hang it up on the wall."Yami said as he carried Bepo on his back to the ship.

"I'm coming too!"Arashi yelled.

"So, now it's only us three,"Law said.

"Let go, Traffy. Leave the old man alone as he wanted."Naruto said teasingly.

"Give me a hug before you go, you brats!"Wolf yelled.

"Two hugs on two days. I'm never doing this again."Law said as he and Naruto hugged Wolf.

"Such an emo. Guess this is goodbye old man."Naruto said.

"Make sure you send some treasure!"

"Will do!"Naruto yelled.

"We aren't doing that are we?"

"Of course not. Maybe one or two but that's it."

"So, are we all ready?"Yami asked.

"Wait. What are our, you know…"

"What are our what?"Yami asked.

"Like, positions."

"You mean roles,"Yami said.

"Yeah that!"

"Well I'm the sniper."

"You've never even used a gun,"Naruto said.

"I've been using a gun since I was twelve. You guys just didn't notice because you were busy pranking Kodachi and Sanada sensei.*

"So where's your gun?"Arashi asked.

"Right there,"Yami said, pointing to a barrel beside them.

"W-when did you put it there? I didn't see it there yesterday."Law said.

"I put it there when we left the ship. Now, since we know I'm the sniper, what about you guys?"

"Bepo's studied navigation before so he's the navigator."Law said.

"I can be the cook!"Arashi exclaimed.

"You sure you know how to?"Law asked.

"Even though he has a small brain, he still can make delicious meals."

"That's why I was Sanada sensei's favorite."Arashi said.

"Naruto was her favorite. Now with out of the way, what about you two?"Yami asked as he pointed at both Naruto and Law.

"I'm the captain. No I am!" Both said simulateniously.

"How can you be a captain, Traffy? You can barely contain Bepo."Naruto said.

"You can't even tell the time Naruto. And I know you're not talking. You can barely contain Arashi and Yami."

"That's true."Both Yami and Arashi said.

"Can't you idiots have my back for once?"Naruto asked.

"You just called us idiot's. How can we have your back when you do that?"Arashi said laughing.

"Just leave it to Law Naruto. He's smarter and he's got more experience."

"How does he have more experience than me?"

"Didn't you tell us he sailed with this guy called Doflamingo for two years?"Arashi asked.

"I've sailed with Shanks too ya know?"

"Yeah. For only like a month. And you've stayed on an island for almost two years. Your brother on the other hand has been sailing left right and center."Yami said.

"But…"

"Just leave it be Naruto. You can be the first mate instead."Yami said.

"So if he's gone, I'm in charge?"

"Yeah."

"Hmm. Ok. Being captain is too much work anyway."

They all sweat dropped.

"And he wanted to be one."Arashi mumbled.

"Right. So, where are we heading first?"He said as he looked at Bepo.

"I-i don't know. The captain should be the one to decide."Bepo said.

He looked at Law.

"We need supplies first. We'll stop at an island nearby."

"Great. Now, let's set sail. I smell an adventure!"

They all laughed. Looks like they were pirates now and there was no turning back.

I decided I'd replace Shachi and Penguin with Yami and Arashi since I've written about them more. Hope you enjoy this one. Kaiokenika out!
