"Traffy! We're nearing the island!"

"Alright! Raise down the anchor Arashi!"

"So, what supplies are we getting?"Naruto asked as he walked through the door.

"Food, some medicine supplies, a couple of clothes. The basic necessities."

"I gotta find a new sword. This one looks a little worse for wear."

"Why? Looks fine to me."Law asked.

"It's just… I don't know. It just doesn't suit me."

"We can stop by a place that sells swords. But don't go overboard."

"When have I ever gone overboard?"

"The time you spent almost all of dad's money buying toys for yourself. The time you made mom spend almost all of her money to buy you food. The time…"

"Ok. Ok. I get it. I won't go overboard."Naruto said.

"Traffy! We've arrived!"

"Great. Come down from there, Bepo. And call the others too!"

"Chikyuu village huh. We'll be getting a lot of food here."

"Just because it's named earth doesn't mean there's gonna be a lot of food here."

"Yes it does. Just to clear this up though, we're not buying grilled fish, tomatoes, onions, or onigiri."

"We can't buy onigiri and grilled fish. They'll stench up the whole ship. And just because you don't like onions and tomatoes doesn't mean we aren't buying them."

Naruto was about to retort when he was cut off by Arashi's voice.

"What's up captain? Why'd you call for us?"

"Ok. Here's what we're gonna do. Bepo, Yami and Arashi, you guys will be looking for cooking supplies, building supplies and clothes.I can see the farms from here so it won't take you guys too long. Naruto and I will be looking for armory and medicine supplies, exercise supplies and some other stuff. We meet back here when we're done."

"Sounds good,"Yami said.

"Can I buy some candy?"Bepo asked.

"Don't buy too much. Now, let's go."

"He was being chased by some wild pigs while covered in blue paint,"Naruto said.

"How'd he get the blue paint on him?"Law asked.

"He was trying to catch Arashi and beat him up so they both jumped out the window and boom! The funniest thing was, Arashi kept saying they were having sex with him when they were poking him."Naruto said laughing.

"You guys were…"

He stopped short when he felt a tug on his shirt. Naruto noticed and they both looked down to see a child, no less than seven, wearing rags, clutching his shirt.

"Hey little buddy. What's wrong?"Naruto asked as he knelt down to look at the kid.

"C-can I h-have some m-money to buy some food. M-my family really needs it."

He looked at Law and nodded.

"Here you go. Buy as much as you want."Naruto said as he gave him five hundred bellies.

"T-thanks mister!"The kid said smiling.

That brought a smile to Naruto's face. Reminded him of his childhood when he had that disease.

"Now with that out of the way, let's…

He felt a tug on his shirt.

"H-hey mister. C-can I have some money also."

He looked down to see five kids. Three tugging his shirt and another two hugging his legs.

"W-what?"

"Um Naruto. Look up."Law said.

He lifted his head. He was flabbergasted. The town was surrounded by homeless people. They were everywhere.

"W-what the hell?!"

"I don't know what it is but it looks like something's wrong,"Law said.

"Look kids. I'll come back for you guys later. Right now, there's something I gotta do."

He instantly regretted saying that when he saw the looks on their faces.

"Don't worry. I'll be back with some food for you guys."

Seems like what he said worked as they looked happy again. He turned his head to Law.

"Let's go."

"Captain Daichi! We've spotted a pirate ship at the port of the village!"

"Pirate ship? Not a marine ship?"

"No sir!"

"Seems like they got tired of chasing me. But I'm sure these pirates will have some fun with me. Locate them immediately!"

"Yes captain!"

"Hey old man!"Naruto yelled.

The man stopped. Oh no. He was caught. Can't they let him have some food to eat.

"What do you want?!"

"Woah. I'm not asking for trouble. I just wanna talk."

"Well get on with it. I'm in a hurry."

Jeez. What was this guy's problem?

"Do you have any idea why there's a bunch of homeless people lying around here?"

"You want to know about that?"

"Then what else is there?"

"Nothing? Two years ago, the town was rich in cultivation. The farmers here were very skilled so they produced a lot of crops. We'd always have food every day and night and provided to those who didn't have any. But then, some pirates came and raided the island of its crops and everything else."

Sounded a lot familiar to his kingdom's predicament.

"What did the navy do about it?"Naruto asked.

"Nothing. They'd come for the pirates sometimes and leave badly hurt and wounded."

Those lowly scum. They were not human at all.

"Any idea on where they're located?"

"Wait. You're not thinking of fighting them are you?"

"That's exactly what I'm thinking."

"But why? You can get hurt or worse, die."

"I can't just stand and watch as homeless people die when I can do something about it."

"But…"

"Just give the location old man! I'm in a hurry!"

"At the top of the hill in the outskirts of the town. Don't say I didn't warn you."

"Thanks for the location. You heard that Traffy?"Naruto asked to no one.

"Loud and clear."Said a voice.

"So, do we tell the others or not?"Law asked.

"I'm sure they'll realize eventually. Right now, let's focus on what we have."Naruto said.

"The farmers told me that whenever they tried to grow the crops, the soil would lose nutrients eventually and the plant wouldn't grow,"Law said.

"Seems suspicious because the old man told me the pirates came and raided the lands."

"We haven't gotten much information so we'll have to do some more digging,"Law said.

"How?"

"We go to him."

"I don't get it."

"It's simple. We'll go to him for answers. We'll fight him and ask at the same time. And by we I mean you."

"Why me? Don't you have devil fruit powers?"Naruto asked.

"That doesn't mean I'm invincible but you somehow are."

"Huh?"

"The other day you showed those three types of haki. The one where you coat your hands and everything. You can use that whenever he attacks you."

"Won't he realize it though. Punching me when I'm using armament haki is like punching metal."

"I don't think he would. I have a hunch he's a devil fruit user as well."

"If you say so. And what about the others? What would they do?"Naruto asked.

"I'll meet up with them at the ship and give them the instructions. Everything he says I'll be able to hear clearly through the earpiece. For now, you go to the hideout."

"Fine. But next time, you're the bait."

"Yeah yeah. Now go!"Law ordered.

"Captain! We've spotted the pirates on the ship. Looks like they were stocking up on supplies."

"How many were there?"

"Only three captain!"

"Oh? Then it seems like I won't get to have my fun. You can go take care of them, men."

"Yes captain! Sissy, Tobi! We've got a mission from the captain!"

"What is it Chiriku? I was in the middle of my nap."Sissy said.

"And I was setting my pranks for when he was asleep,"Tobi said.

"They're some pirates on the port and captain's given us orders to deal with them."

"Pirates? Not the navy?"Sissy asked.

"They finally stopped chasing us. Guess they had enough of captain Daichi."Tobi said.

"Just go deal with them. And make sure you deal with ALL of them."

"Oh c'mon captain. It was only one time."Tobi said.

"I don't care. Just deal with them."

"Fine. Let's go Sissy, Chiriku."Tobi said as all of them left the cave.

Silence.

"They're all gone, now come out."

"Seems like you spotted me. Not like I was trying to hide."

"And who are you?"

"Just a pirate looking for some fun. Mind lending me a…"

He couldn't finish his sentence as he was forced to dodge an incoming attack.

"Oh, so you control trees huh?"

"You're close."Daichi said as he stood up from his chair.

"Then what is it then?"Naruto asked.

"You'll find out during the fight."

"That's no…"

He fell short as he was forced to dodge again.

"Stop interrupting me!"

"Talk faster then."

"Wait. So apparently there are pirates here? And Naruto's gone to fight them?"Yami asked.

"He's just gathering information. He'll be fine."Law said.

"P-pirates are here?"

"What Bepo? You afraid?"Arashi asked.

"Of course I am!"

"Too bad for you. I'm shivering with excitement to meet them."

"You're a devil Arashi."Bepo said.

"So what's the plan?"Yami asked.

"Since Naruto's got an earpiece with him, I'll be able to get the information he's getting through them and when we've got enough, we'll head to their hideout and finish them."

"I don't think that's the case,"Yami said.

"How so?"Law asked

"Because it looks like they're coming to us."Yami said, pointing to the pirates behind them.

"Looks like they've found us,"Law said.

"Do we fight?"Yami asked.

"We've got no choice. Arashi, deal with half of them. Me and Yami will deal with the others."

"Alright! Let's have some fun!"Arashi yelled as he charged towards them.

It was getting boring just letting him hit him. He could easily dodge them but nooo, Traffy just had to tell him. This is why he didn't want him to be captain. I swear he's abusing his power.

"You're a very bad pirate. The attacks I'm throwing at you are very, very weak compared to my other one's.

"Considering that I just started, I'm taking that as a compliment."

Pow!*

He groaned.

"So, you control the earth or something since you've been hitting me with branches, blinding me with soil."

"You're smart. Yes, I do control the earth. I ate the Tsuchi-Tsuchi no Mi."

"Wait, you said that these attacks are weaker compared to your other attacks. You've been holding back the whole time?"

"Yes. I've observed you for a while and I have to say, assassination is not your best skill."

"Assassination?"

"Don't play dumb. You've been sent by the world government to assassinate me."

"U-um."

"Aha! So it's true. Too bad for you though. I'll be killing you right now. Thanks for the fun, even if it wasn't really all that fun."

"Earth fist!"Daichi shouted.

He had no time to dodge so the only solution was to take it.

Crash!* *Bang!* *Whack!*

"Crashed into three walls only? That's a little disappointing since I put half of my power on that attack. You're dead though, so that's really all that matters."Daichi said as he started to walk away.

"Now what do I…"

"Ugh. That one really hurt."

Daichi froze.

"I-it can't be. I felt my fist hit you. H-how are you alive?"

"Let's just say I'm special. Now, it's my turn."

"Can't I get a real challenge? I hate fighting weak people."Arashi said.

"We've gotten enough information from Naruto. We should head to the hideout now."Law said.

"I'm with Arashi. So far we've only fought weak people even before we've started."Yami said.

"Then you won't have a problem fighting us."

They all turned their heads to the sound of the voice.

"Who're you guys?"Yami asked.

"Were your new fighters of course!"Tobi said.

"Shut up Tobi!"Sissy yelled.

"You shut up Sissy!"Tobi yelled.

"Both of you shut up!"Chiriku yelled.

They sweat dropped.

"They don't look that strong."Arashi whispered to Yami.

"We are strong."Tobi said

"We just don't show it,"Sissy said.

"Stop dilly dallying you guys. Let's attack them now!"Chiriku yelled.

"Can't we have a little fun?"Tobi asked.

"No. Attack them now!"

"Split for now,"Law said, running off.

"Finally. A real challenge."Arashi said, running off somewhere.

"That one's mine,"Tobi said.

"Mine is the black haired guy."Sissy said following Law.

"Seems it's you and me,"Chiriku said.

"Just don't bore me."Yami said.

Clank!* *Clank!*

"You're not bad at using a sword, even though it's wood."Naruto said as their swords met in between.

"You're not bad yourself, for a rookie."

"Who said I'm a rookie at using a sword?"

"Your skills say so."

"I'm just toying around,"Naruto said.

"Oh. Then let's see you dodge this!"Daichi said as he flipped backwards.

"Mud river!"

He looked at the ground that was slowly turning into mud.

"Harden!"

His feet were stuck to the hard ground.

"Hahahaha! C'mon rookie! Get up! Oh wait, you can't! Your legs are stuck to the ground!"Daichi said laughing.

Naruto fell silent for a few seconds.

"You done? Cause I am."Naruto said as he raised his fist that was slowly turning red.

"What're you gonna do? Try and punch your way out of it? Unlucky for you, the earth is as solid as iron. You'll…"

"Fist of sage!"Naruto shouted.

Boom!*

The ground started to break, causing an explosion.

"Y-you,"Daichi stammered.

"I'm full of surprises. Shall we continue?"

"I'm starting to hate you."Arashi said.

"What? Why?"Tobi asked.

"Well, you're boring. You've shown nothing ever since we started.

"Neither have you."

"But you're the one who should show first."

"Then catch."Tobi said as he threw a ball towards Arashi.

"What's a ball gonna…"

Boom!*

"That wasn't a ball fool! It was a bomb!"Tobi said laughing.

"Oh yeah. This is what I'm talking about!"Arashi yelled.

"Y-you're alive?"

"C'mon! Let's keep going. My blood is pumping with excitement!

Clank!* *Clank!*

Nice claws."Law said.

"No thanks. I hate compliments."Sissy said.

"Oh really? Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are?"

"Stop it!"Sissy yelled.

"Wow. I love your smile. You should show it some more."

"You're dead meat!"She said as she lunged at him.

"Not today."Law said as he dodged.

"Thwack!*

"Argh!"She muttered.

"Oh sorry. Did the handle of my sword hurt your back?"

"Not even a little."

"You're really disappointing me."Yami said as he deflected the bullets with his sword.

"Then stop deflecting my bullets."

"No can do. But at least show some more abilities that you have."

"Stop mocking me!"Chiriku yelled.

"I'm not mocking you. I'm just saying you try something new."Yami said.

"That's it!"

He started shooting in his direction.

"I told you to try something…"

Zing!* *Zing!* *Zing!*

"There."

"Why'd you shoot the ground?"

"I'm trying something new."

"What are you…"

Boom!*

"Those bullets aren't normal bullets! They're bullets made of dynamite!"Chiriku yelled, laughing.

"I see."

"Huh?"

"What? You thought I'd die from that? Try harder next time."Yami said.

"You're really getting on my nerves."

"Landslide!"Daichi yelled.

"Woohoo! Now this is what I call fun!"Naruto laughed.

"Stop laughing about this!"

"How can I when it's fun? It's like I'm surfing."

"Why you!"

"By the way, look up."

He looked up.

Poof!*

"W-what're these?"

"My infamous smoke bombs. The trees you used to attack me will be on fire right about… now."

Snip!* *Snap!* These were the sounds of the crackling as the fire was lit.

"Guess this is the end for you. Make sure to say hi to my sister for me. If you meet her anyway."

Whoosh!* *Whoosh!* *Whoosh!*

He sighed.

"Now, time to light out the fire's."

"I'd appreciate if you don't. They'd be perfect for your funeral."

His eyes went wide.

"H-how are you…"

"Alive? My Shukuchi attack lets me be one with the earth. Basically, I just dissolve into the sand. That's too bad for you though. The fun… is now beginning."
