"I'm surprised King Rhoam didn't execute you, you must've really impressed him." Boto said adding sticks to the the blazing fire.

Everett sighed. "I was still in shock after fighting Gonbick, and to top that I was caked in dirt, my face was a little fucked and the mixture bruises and dried blood didn't help as well. I'm pretty sure etiquette was out the window."

Olas sneered. "Etiquette is never out of of the question when it comes to the kingdom, Rhoam has put men's heads on pikes for less!"

Everett shrugged his shoulders. "If the King wanted me dead, I wouldn't be talking to you." Everett sighed before looking into the fire. His body ached, and his mind rambled. Olas had given him some weird potion for bruises and injuries, it tasted like shit and he could almost feel the unwelcome taste in his mouth still, but it was evidently working as Everett looked at his reflection through a bucket of water. The bruise on his face has been almost reduced to nothing but a red spot.

"Fellas I think it's time we celebrate. Everett thanks for the 50 rupees," Olas with a shit eating grin said. Everett raised an eyebrow before watching the older of the group pull out a cigar and a little baggie filled with green substances. "Anyone want to do the honors?"

"What the-" He instantly knew what it was when Olas had opened it. Everett couldn't stop the devilish smirk that had washed over his face. "I-man where did you get that?"

"Faron's finest," Olas began opening the bag and the smell of marijuana had smacked Everett across the face. His brother used to smoke weed and got Everett into smoking during the last years of his last life, teaching him how to roll and how to use it wisely. He'd admit the first couple months he smoked weed he couldn't not smoke, it wasn't until Aston had confronted him about it. "Don't tell me you're against it."

"Not at all, I just...it's been awhile since I last smoked. Is it even legal?" Everett asked.

"Not in all regions of Hyrule." Olas said. He began to unwrap the cigar, releasing its nicotine and tobacco from the leaf, scattering it in the grass. "Especially here of all places." Everett smirked. He'd had only known Olas for a week and a half and could tell he could make trouble.

"So where is it legal?"

Olas paused, he had been in the middle of rolling before he began again. It had been a couple seconds before Olas had rolled a perfect blunt, setting it to the side. "I get mine from Faron so it's legal there."

"So it's legal in different regions?" Everett asked.

"Faron and Akkala is where it's usually grown and harvested. I know some people who sell. Other than that, it's illegal everywhere else. Especially here in Central Hyrule." He explained.

"So if I were to get caught with some, what would happen?" Everett questioned.

Olas picked a glass of wine up. "Confiscated, thrown in a cell for a couple days. Those same people who confiscate it usually smoke it."

Everett's eyebrow raised. "So, people in the kingdom smoke?"

Olas almost spit the wine out hearing a preposterous question. "Do they? I use to watch so many soldiers try and keep they're cool after a long night at the bar. You'd be surprised with the amount of incompetence at that castle."

Olas lit the blunt before puffing out a cloud that had visibly covered his face for a second or two before he blew out smoke. He coughed. A lot when he blew the smoke, he held it out to Everett as he coughed up a lung. Chuckling, Everett had taken the blunt out of his hand, pulling it himself.

He didn't cough nearly as much as Olas, in fact he had only heard himself cough four times in comparison to Olas's...who evidently was still coughing. He felt the buzz of cannabis flow through his blood as he hit it more.

"Hey, don't waste it," Boto said with a furrowed eyebrow. "I need some of that too."

Olas chuckled. "You don't need weed man, for all we know you would start singing love songs to the horses."

Boto shot him a look. "Dude for all we know you would get your ass fired from the castle a second time." Olas emitted a laugh that Everett had yet to heard, Boto's joke obviously didn't offend Olas who had still been booming from his laughter.

"That was a good one," Olas stated. "I however, at least I made it to the castle whereas someone is still cleaning shit from the horses."

Boto scoffed blowing out smoke. "Rather clean shit off horse's hooves then blow a chance working for the royal guard assface."

Olas chuckled before staring into the fire. "You know I told Rhoam I'd rather be dismissed from duty then to be stationed at Tabantha right?"

"Yeah," Boto responded passing the cigar to him. Olas had took it from his fingers taking a hit from it and blowing out smoke. Boto threw a stick in the fire to reignite it, he used a longer stick to poke and prat at the fire, it wasn't long before he got it to start up decently again. "I don't blame you. Father would've had your head on a pike."

Olas looked up to Everett before curiosity washed over your face. "I don't usually like calling people liars, but I have to ask man," Everett raised his eyebrow before Olas continued. "You told me you have no family. I just can't believe it, everyone has ties somewhere."

Was telling the truth an option here? Whose to think they won't think he's fucking crazy or something? Would they laugh at him? Everett thought long and hard about what Olas was gonna say next.

"So, what's your really story man?" Olas asked before blowing some smoke out and putting the blunt out. Everett pondered. He could say millions of lies flooded his mind and he couldn't chose which one to pick so he just blurted out:

"You guys may think I'm crazy after I tell you," Everett let his gaze from the fire look up at Olas and Boto who looked at him intensely. "I have or had cancer, if you don't know what it is it's a disease that eats away your body until you die. Is possible to survive it but I didn't." Everett looked at brothers who nodded for him to continue. "I died."

Boto raised his eyebrows before furrowing them. "You died? How? Your right here!"

Everett sneered. "That's the thing. I wasn't kidding when I said I said I'm not from anywhere. This is not my home. Hyrule is not my home."

"Bullshit." Boto said.

Olas held his hand up. "Wait a minute, so your...not from Hyrule?"

Everett shook his head. "No man I'm...I'm from New York ." Boto and Olas looked at each other with confusion painted on they're faces. Boto looked at Everett.

"New York?" Boto sounded it out.

Olas looked back at Everett. "Is that a kingdom?"

Everett shook his head again and chuckled. "No, it's a place far far far away. I'm sure you couldn't even get to it if you wanted to." It was quiet after that, Olas and Boto processed the information at hand while the fire cracked away and began to be nothing more than an orangish glow under some firewood.

"Well, I can't say I believe you," Olas seas the first to talk after a couple minutes. He looked up towards the much stronger man across the fire with a hint of curiosity in his eyes. "But I can't say I don't believe you."

Boto looked up at Olas. "Hold on, your buying this shit?" Boto looked towards Everett again before snapping his head back towards his older brother. "For all we know he could be a Yiga!"

"Idiot boy," Olas muttered with his face in his palm. "Why would a damn Yiga mess with the likes of us? Plus I have a pretty bullshit detector for Yiga."

Boto snorted. "Yeah right, and how can you tell a normal person from a Yiga?"

"They're terrible actors." Everett almost chuckled at Olas's remark.

"Look man I'm not asking y'all to believe me, you could take me all around this land. Not a single person would recognize me." Everett said confidently.

"And if they do?" Boto challenged.

Everett shrugged his shoulders. "Then I must be truly insane."

Boto chuckled before he laughed. He shook his head before looking at Everett. "I guess we gotta make it a challenge one day." Everett nodded. "Well it's late, I've enjoyed this. Everett, I'm not saying your liar, but I'm just saying it's hard to believe. But I'll give it some thought and I'll get back to you." Everett nodded and Boto left the two older men at the now extinguished fire.

"So you really just woke up in Hyrule Field?" Olas asked.

Everett slowly nodded his head. "Really did. What would I gain by lying about something like that?"

Olas sighed before looking at the younger man. "Well, at least I can tell your not Yiga because they are complete idiots. You on the other hand have something special about you, and it's not just how many tons you can carry."

"What do you mean?" Everett asked.

Olas stared at him with a fire in his eyes. Not a angry fire...but more of a determined fire. "Back at that competition when you were going against Gonbick, not once did I see falter in any way, cower in anyway. I've seen a share fair of hylians who would never challenge a goron. But you? You stood toe-to-toe with who is possibly one of the strongest people to live and manhandled him."

Everett didn't know where this was coming from. In fact, he didn't really think about being afraid of Gonbick despite him having a size advantage. He wasn't worried about how hard the fight against Gonbick would be. He was worried about failing.

He had failed in one life, he didn't get a second for a reason.

"Well, I say it's time for me to check in. You seem pretty tired after today and you sure deserve a good nights rest. Take whatever bed you need man, don't worry about the pay either." Olas said with a sincere smile.

Everett chuckled and nodded. "Appreciate it bro."

"Get some rest man, goddesses know you need it." He turned away and disappeared inside the stable. Quiet horses snoring and frogs croaking was what was left of Everett's night as he lingered outside to ponder for a bit. Where would life take him from here?

He dusted himself off before standing up and walking towards the stable. He nodded the desk guy goodnight before heading into a random bed he selected. He practically flopped face first before turning onto his back and staring at the ceiling.

It wasn't long until sleep overtook him.

"I have news Princess." Sheikah advisor Impa bows to her friend with grace. Zelda looked up from her desk and the paper she was currently writing on, she put the feather back in the quill before nodding for Impa to continue. "The knight who pulled the sword is expected to meet with your father tomorrow morning, as he expects you to be there with him on time."

Zelda sighed. Great, another reminder of why I'm a failure. "Yes, thank you very much Impa." She responds deadpan.

Impa notices this. "How are your prayers going?"

Terrible. "Fine."

"Any progress?" Impa pried harder.

"Of course not!" Zelda threw her hands up. "I'm getting no where and having to be by Father's side while he's in the room is even more infuriating!"

"Maybe it's best if I tell the King that you're unable to attend?" Impa asked with a hint of comfort in her voice.

"No," Zelda said firmly. "He won't let me, and I need to be there. I will not run from my duty even I dread it." Impa came closer to the desk where she sat on the edge of it. Zelda didn't look up at her as her gaze stared out her window. The morning sun had rose hours ago as it had been turning into afternoon. Meaning that she would have to join Father tomorrow to meet this knight that pulled the sword. It had only been two days since he had pulled it and she couldn't dread see that dammed sword enough. She didn't know the story of the knight who pulled it, she's seen him around before and all, but she doesn't know his name, know his voice or anything about him yet absolutely detested him.

"Did you enjoy the competition the other day?" Zelda almost didn't hear it because of how quiet the question was from Impa.

"It was refreshing to be out of the castle, yes. But I wasn't exactly intrigued by the show." Zelda said massaging her temples with her index finger and thumb. "It was surprising to see a hylian win for once. I don't think I've ever seen one win a strength contest."

"It was surprising and I've been wanting to bring him up." Zelda stopped massaging her temple to look at the Shiekah. "Your father formally invited him to the ball tomorrow night he expects Sir Everett to attend, he's already sent the invitation letter was sent last night. He is expected to meet with him today as well."

"And what would be the reason for this?" Zelda asked quite annoyed. She already had to deal with one annoying non talking knight she didn't need to deal with a muscle headed brute. "I think one nuisance is enough."

"It's a formal dinner where all the higher ups come, it wouldn't be surprising for the man who beat the reigning six year Goron champion to appear at a formal dinner. He plans to ask Everett's help in the calamity."

"Of course he does, because we are so desperate for help." Zelda added a hint of sass behind that last sentence. Impa picked up on this. She didn't know his story or wanted to. She wasn't interested in having amends with these two people she could already feel a hatred growing for any reason. They would be reminders of why she's such a failure.

"Your father thinks he could change the outcome of this battle."

"So the man fights in one tournament, and all of a sudden he's our next savior?" Zelda asked with more sass.

"His strength," Impa countered. "He has shown potential to be stronger than even the mightiest of gorons, and he seems to be trained with a weapon." Impa stopped before she continued again. "Me Purah ran into him a couple weeks back when we came to surprise you."

"And you didn't tell me?"

"It wasn't anything to miss Princess relax," The older women said. "He showed his skill by beating a monster to death with a tree branch. A tree branch. I've never seen anyone deal that much damage with a branch no less-"

Zelda grimaced to herself. "Impa I'm fine with not hearing about anyone else's accomplishments." Impa had quickly shut her mouth after the statement and Zelda almost immediately felt guilty. "I'm sorry, it's just so much has happened lately."

"Purah and Robbie are currently in the courtyard with the new sheikah guardians. Would you rather be with them instead? I know much you enjoy being around them."

Zelda smiled at the idea but had a little bit of paperwork in the way before she wanted to go out in the courtyard with the two sheikah scientists. "I would love to, but I have some work to do and it'll be some time before I'm done."

She went to pick her quill back up but Impa had grabbed her wrist and seized her hand. Zelda's eyes went and they snapped back to Impa who had silenced her. Zelda you are overworking yourself. You need some time to yourself, and if being around us is your peace then I'll help you achieve it."

The Princess looked at her work before looking back up at her dear friend. She nodded and scooted herself out of her chair. Following Impa who had opened her bedroom doors for her as they rounded and turned every corner of Hyrule Castle and only thoughts clouded her mind. Is this really what she should be doing right now? Should she be praying to Hylia so she could unlock her powers within her? Instead she going to study ancient technology with her dearest of friends instead of devoting herself to her training.

It had been a couple minutes and several steps later before they finally made it to the courtyard where it had bustling with royal guard, knights, shiekah scientists and guardians. Her mood lightened when she saw Robbie and Purah with a slate in their hand overlooking a certain guardian. The two made their way to the scientists before being noticed by the two.

"Zelda!" Purah exclaimed before jogging over and hugging the Princess. Zelda returned it with a giggle and wrapped her arms around Purah. "So glad you could join us, come take a look at this." Almost childlike, she quickly scooted to where both Purah and Robbie were posted in front of the live guardian.

"These machines can listen on command," Purah explained. She took the slate out of Robbie's hands before backing ups sn looking at the guardian. "Hey! Come forward!"

The guardian's long legs took a few steps before it had stopped in place a couple feet away from the group of four who where inspecting it. Zelda's eyes brightened with curiosity at the machine when it had moved it's head around in a swift circle inspecting its surroundings before it had settled on her. It had been a settle few moments as the guardian's eye just stayed in place focused on Zelda before it moved away.

"These things are amazing!" Robbie said with excitement. He had walked almost complete circles around it.

"I heard your powers still haven't awaken yet Princess," Purah says which almost immediately makes Zelda's mood darken a bit. She wasn't particularly thinking about it until Purah brought it up. "What more do you have to do?"

"Father has requested that I visit each spring to pray. He says he will assign me a guard for the trip." Zelda answered.

"I'm sure one of this springs will help you unlock your power Princess, do you know who he will assign to be your guard?"

"No. I'll know in due time who." She simple waved off the subject before focusing on the guardian. "Yes, if certainty seems to listen to our voices."

"Hopefully they will aid us against the calamity?" Impa questioned.

Zelda almost bit her cheek. "They can aid us, I'm sure they can."

"We certainly need all the help we can get-" All of a sudden a scream had interrupted the conversation and all the group had snapped they're head back to a guard that was going nuts and shooting lasers all over the place.

"Purah what's going on?" Impa demanded.

Purah flipped through the slate frantically in an attempt to have an answer for her younger sister. "I'm not sure it's not listening to any of the commands or our voices!"

"Shut that thing off!" Impa yelled at one of the scientists. He looked at her with horror in his face before he was running off towards the guardians. He went under it to deactivate it but was immediately flung away from under it by its long spider legs. Out of its eye it began to shoot lasers at everyone and everything. Castle walls broke down into pieces as the guardian's beam gone completely through it. Zelda watched in horror as Purah and Robbie pulled her away.

All of a sudden it aimed it's beam at Zelda ready to fire...

"There's no way this is real," Olas said as him and Everett walked towards what Everett was told is "Castle Town" to grab him a nice outfit for the dinner the King invited him too. He had been awakened early by Boto who stayed back at the stable when an letter had been delivered to him by the castle. He examined the letter, carefully flipping and looking all around it. "Doesn't seem like a fake, seems like the ones Garland use to write out."

"So it's real? Not a fake? They actually want me to attend this dinner?"

Olas huffed. "Looks like it. This can't be fake, this is Garland's handwriting. Not a single soul in Hyrule would be able to copy such messy handwriting like this."

Everett sighed before he kept walking towards the gate of the town, and just above it was the castle itself. It appeared in the background visible no matter how tall the castle town buildings were which weren't very tall. They took a couple turns before they stopped at a shop. Olas opened the door and beckoned Everett to come in who hesitated before stepping in the shop. It was a heavy smell of wood and perfume as it appeared empty. There were racks of clothes all around, and some items on the wall.

"Dayru? You here?" He called out. "I know your around here."

Everett moved closer towards Olas. "What is this place?" He muttered.

Olas looked over before smirking. "Only the best tailor in Hyrule, anything you need clothing wise she's the one you go too-"

A small lady appeared from the back with confusion on her face before it was painted with joy upon seeing Olas. She had jet black hair with a gorgeous face, she had a very curvey body as the dresses that she worn had hugged her in all the right places and Everett tried his hardest not to notice. Her eyes widened at the sight of Olas. "Well I'll be damned, if it isn't a certain guy that I hate."

Olas's grin didn't falter from that insult. "Of course Dayru, I could never miss that sharp tongue of yours." Dayru's chilled smile didn't leave her face, and it almost seemed like the two had history with each other. Everett coughed in his hand to break the tension making Olas remember why he was he here. "Right, Dayru this is Everett. Everett, this is Dayru."

Everett held his significantly larger hand out to the much smaller lady who took it with her own.

"Everett has been invited to the Hyrule Castle ball, and we've come here to get him nicely touched up." Before Olas has the rest of the sentence out of mouth, Dayru had already been walking circles around Everett. Inspecting him, she began to look him up and down before grabbing measuring tape wrapping it around his waist. Then his neck, the she slid it down to his length of his reach.

"These are some huge biceps," She took notice. "Out of all my 15 years of being a tailor I've never seen someone more defined then you, mind letting me on your little secrets?"

"Oh I-well genetics I guess." Everett answered. "I lift a lot of heavy stuff as well."

Dayru giggled before taking more measurements of his body. With each measurement, she'd write it down on a little paper that was taped to the wall that had clearly been used for this type of thing as old pieces of tape splattered the wall. She took her final measurement before writing it down again.

"I think I know just the outfit," Dayru said before she smirked. Trotting back into the back Everett peered over towards Zola's who had been quiet the whole time drinking a cup of liquor he had somehow found.

"Let me guess man, ex?" Everett asked with a grin.

Olas finished the drink before letting it drop with a thud. "Later."

Everett scoffed. "C'mon man. Lemme get to know a thing about you."

Olas sneered a bit. "I said later, I'd rather not talk about when she could be in ear range." Everett could understand that and so the room went quiet. Everett stared at the wall for a bit. A random thought made him miss the technology of his old world, and how he could just pop some headphones in and forget about time. Or how he could kick back and watch a movie on a tv screen. They didn't have neither here in Hyrule and it was hard to get accustom too. But it was working as he had learned to be without any type of technology within the last couple weeks.

Dayru appeared again with folded clothes in her and, and a pair of black leather boots that looked like they hadn't been worn yet. She had handed him the clothing and he took it with a nod. Taking them into a little dressing room that had been sitting in the dark corner he changed into them. They were a little tight but hopefully she could adjust that. It wasn't until he finished dressing.

He had a long sleeve black lace up that had shown his cervix and the beginning outline of his pectoral muscles which had poked out pretty nice to his liking. The long sleeves wrapped around his muscular arms nicely, hopefully with some tweaks it could be the most comfortable thing he's ever tried on. The dark brown pants that had tightened around his calf area had spotted him nicely and the black boots weren't bad to top it off. Dayru had given him a hair tie of some sort that bundled his hair up so that it was standing up on his head and acting as a hairstyle. He looked great.

He stepped out before letting Dayru and Olas examine him. Dayru eyed him up and down giving a nod of approval with a lick of her lips. "It's the shirt doing it for me, all the ladies are gonna flock to you."

He almost blushed as Olas chuckled. "How much do we owe you?"

Dayru gave him a look that Everett swore could've killed Olas, but she quickly smiled devilishly as she turned towards Everett. "Well since I know you, I'll give it to you half off. Hundred, including the tweaks I'll make for you. I'll have it ready by tomorrow afternoon just in time for the ball."

"Deal." Olas said dropping two purple rupees in her hand. Everett nodded before getting out of the clothes and giving them back to Dayru. Olas had muttered something to here before turning around and walking out the door with Everett following. His eyes readjusted to the beaming sunlight that had caked Hyrule.

"Now what?" Everett asked.

"Now we make our way to the castle. The letter stated that the King wanted to meet with you today even though the hall is tomorrow, maybe he just enjoyed talking to you at the coliseum." Olas guessed. Everett slowly nodded before following Olas to the gates of Hyrule Castle.

Everett's mind don't stray away from the fact that Olas knew that woman Dayru well. "Who was that lady?"

Olas paused for a second before looking at Everett. He cringed before looking towards the gates of the castle that had been within thirty feet. Olas looked back up to Everett then sighed. "We a fling back when I was stationed here. I'd sneak off duty to go to her place sometimes when I was on shift."

When didn't continue and kept walking towards the gate Everett jogged up to him. "C'mon man, there's a reason why she was giving you death stares."

Olas huffed with annoyance. "Who cares it was in the past Everett, let's just focus on getting you to the King."

Everett raised his eyebrow. "Your allowed in the castle? I thought you were fired."

The older man looked back. "I was, I still get free reign to roam the castle. I used to be a royal guard here."

"I know, but aren't you angry about it?" Everett asked. "Losing your job?"

He scoffed. "Man I lost that job fair and square. I showed up intoxicated half the time, the only person I'm angry at is me." Olas admitted. They finally made it to the castle gates before one of the guards stepped in front of them. The guard was dressed in some armor with a helmet that covered most of his face. "I know this guard, total asshole. Let me handle this, I'll have us in the castle quicker."

The two men walked further up the path that led to the gigantic gates with the . "Well if it isn't the one and only Anju."

The man who was named Anju perked up before squinting his eyes out the helmet and his posture had relaxed from being a cold guard to a sudden cold vibe. "Olas? This can't be good, what do you want?"

Olas handed him the letter as Anju inspected it. "I am Sir Everett's representative as the King requested to meet with him today."

"Representative?" Anju scanned the letter for some odd seconds before suspiciously looking up at Olas. Olas had the same shit eating grin that he always wears. Anju peered back over to Everett with a raised eyebrow. "Do you really know this asshole?"

Everett chuckled and coughed to try and hide his laughter. He looked to Olas who had a grin before looking back to Anju. "Yeah man, I know this guy."

Anju sighed before reading the letter once again, making it look like he didn't finish. It was kind of a lengthy letter. He folded it before putting it back into the envelope. "Well you have permission from the King to meet with him so this guy must be really important. I hope this isn't another one of your stunt-"

Huffing, Olas ripped the envelope from his hands with annoyance. "Yeah I get it, if I didn't have business here I wouldn't be here. Now please get out of the way."

Anju sneered before forcing himself to step aside. Everett and Olas had waited at least a minute before the gigantic doors had slowly began to open. The Hyrule crest began to split in half as the gates of the castle had opened revealing the large structure. Olas had been the first one to make steps towards the castle passing the gate, Everett had snapped out of his trance to catch up with Olas.

The two made the long walk that wrapped around the castle until they were at the entrance and walking in. Practically shoving the envelope in their faces as every guard let them pass with little to no qualms. They were eventually deep in the castle before Olas spoke.

"The King's office should be right past the courtyard." Olas informed. It wasn't until numerous guards had rushed by them almost bumping them out the way even. Olas raised his eye brow before hearing another group of knights clammed the halls when they ran past them. Olas stopped of them. "What in Hylia's name is going on?"

"One of the shiekah machines went rogue!" Not a second later and the knight was already sprinting down towards the courtyard entrance. Olas and Everett heard multiple screams, yelling and orders from commanders to get the guardian under control. The two men sprinted down the castle hall before almost missing the courtyard entrance. The machine had been walking around, destroying everything it touched as its head spun around frantically as it were checking for it's surroundings.

"Shut that thing off!" He heard one of the shiekah say who happens to turn out to be one of the women he encountered when he first woke up here in Hyrule.

"Someone's gotta do something," Olas muttered loud enough for Everett to hear. Suddenly the guardians eye had landed on the Princess and a dot had emitted on it. Olas almost choked on air as he pointed towards it. "Shit! It's gonna blow the Princess to pieces!"

Everett frantically looked around before he spotted a sword and shield. Ripping it from the rack, he put his arm in the shield and tightened his grip around the sword. Olas couldn't get out the words he wanted to say because of how fast the situation was unfolding right before their eyes. "The eye. You have to aim for the eye!"

"What!?"

Everett began to rush towards the machine with inhumane speed despite Olas's shouting, he almost thought he wouldn't make it time as the guardian's beeping came to a halt and was ready to fire. He pushed off the ground and jumped higher than he ever had clearing the four people that were in front of the machine. Shield up and sword ready to stab, the guardian spotted him at the last second. Fuck.

It fired, luckily Everett had raised the shield high enough so that it wouldn't blow him to pieces but the outcome was not any better. What the hell. he thought. These things fucking shoot lasers?? The blast from the guardian was so powerful, he flew back through a empty wooden weapon rack. He felt the wood pile onto him and his arm that the shield had protected felt like it was on fire. He felt his vision blur and felt his rage began to build up. He wouldn't let it because he didn't need it in this situation. He needed find the solution as coherent as possible, and not when he's all juiced up on rage.

He swiftly got up holding his arm watching the guardian began to wreck havoc. Luckily it had only fired at Everett and just had been chasing people around scaring them away and throwing them with its long legs.

Long legs. Everett thought. That's it! Everett swiftly ran towards the guardian who had spotted him, it wasn't quick enough to fire its beam at him so it simply went to fling him with it's long legs. Everett latched onto it's legs with his arms before getting a good grip around them. The guardian flung it's leg around in an attempt to wiggle Everett off but it didn't work, He dug his feet into the ground and began to overpower the leg. It began to shake and not long Everett had completed ripped off it's leg entirely.

"No!" He heard a feminine voice in the distance. "Don't break it please!" Everett completed ignored it taking the time to swing the giant leg at the guardian that landed with a loud crack disrupting it almost entirely for a second when it began to shoot out random beams. Everett dodged one and one of the beams had been ricocheted by something when a sudden beam had flew back hitting it right in the eye. He fell to the ground with a huff before looking back. He saw an blonde headed boy with nothing more than a pot lid and a fancy sword strapped to his back. The boy dropped the pot lid before Everett heard numerous steps before looking up at a furious Zelda. "You absolute fools! I ordered you not to destroy it, you destroyed months of research!"

Everett's eyes had widened. The nerve of this women, royalty or not he will not be talked down like this. Standing up to his full height which he had towered over the Princess, he didn't drop the guardian's leg to make a point. "Listen lady, me and this man just saved your life. I think you owe us a bit of gratitude."

Zelda gasped. Who was he to talk to her like this? She was the Princess of Hyrule destined to rule it one day and she will not be talked to a peasant like this. "We had this situation very much under control. Thanks to both of you, months of hard work was destroyed in a matter of seconds!"

"Ah yes, the situation you had "in control of" is the reason why you see all these knights and scientists on the ground asking for medical help," He threw the leg at Robbie who had nearly fallen over with how heavy it was in compared. His death glare that had been aimed for Zelda didn't falter. However, Zelda's glare had been more angrier than him it seemed and he'd most likely be dead on spot if looks killed. "Keep your projects from murdering people, how about that?" He turned towards the blondes haired boy. "Nice shot kid, someone has to appreciate you for that."

The boy nodded. He turned before holding his limp arm when he made his way back to Olas who had a worried stricken expression on his face. He simply walked past Olas who had ran up to catch up with him they had rounded a corner before Everett had slid down the wall and checked his arm. It was beet red and soaring with pain, luckily his instincts told him to pick up a shield. And he was glad he did or he probably wouldn't have a left arm at all.

"We still have to meet with the King," Olas said to break the tension only for it to be met with a glare from Everett.

"King can wait, I almost lost my left arm dealing with that stupid shit man." He scolded harshly.

"You've got a big pair of balls talking to the Princess like that," Olas said with a darkened expression that washed over his face. "I hope that doesn't get back to Rhoam."

Everett huffed annoyingly. "I don't care about what the hell they think. Maybe this wasn't a good idea man, we should head back to the stable."

Olas's expression made it clear to Everett that he took offense to that. "No. You've made it this far I'm not going to let you throw it all away." He helped Everett to his feet before Olas spoke again. "I know an infirmary close by, we can get you patched up-"

Before he could finish the sentence, a group of knights had stopped them in they're tracks.

"The king has summoned you to meet him in the sanctum at once."
