(Chapter Thirty-One)

(Tirdas 22nd) (Early Morning at the Cove)

The sun was barely in the sky but Sal was already awake and getting ready to go out hunting since that's the best time to hunt (A/N Not sure if that's true) at least to him it is. He was going over his belongings that he might need for the hunt.

"Where are you going this early?" just in time.

Looking behind him he saw Raven standing there still in her sleep clothes. She looks over his things that were on the floor but when her eyes landed on the bow her eyes lit up.

"Are you going hunting? Without me?" she asks jokingly.

"No, I was actually waiting for you to wake up, I was making sure that we had what we're going to need for this hunt" Sal explains.

"Good, that'll give me time to change and get ready, I'll be right back" she bolts back into her room to get changed.

A couple of minutes pass and Raven has returned with her personal bow and hunting clothes "I'm ready, lets get going" she hurries Sal.

"Grab whatever you can and we can get moving" he says grabbing what he can while she can grab whatever she can. It wasn't much thankfully since they might end up coming back with a decent haul, hopefully.

Quietly leaving the house, they make their way over to the dirt ramp that Galaxy has been making for over the past month which helped him get out of the cove. Luckly for them some of the rock, wood and dirt was used for the construction of most things in their camp/home.

Someone calls out from behind them before they reached the top of the ramp "Raven, Sal, where are you going?"

Turning around they see that it was Mikazuki "Going out hunting, what are you doing up?" Sal asks.

"Chopping wood, but I want to ask if it would be alright to go with you, I could use some help" Sal looks at Raven for approval. She shrugs her shoulders.

"Sure"

Raven quickly adds "But if you chase any of our kill away you're being sent back, got it?" Mikazuki nodded.

The siblings waited while Mikazuki goes inside and grabs his things for their hunt. While waiting they noticed that Galaxy was starying at them almost like he was questioning them.

"Don't worry, we're just going out to hunt for a bit before winter" Raven reassures Galaxy. He gives her this look that would make it seem like he was saying 'ok' or something like that.

"Come on Raven" Sal hurries.

Sal and Mikazuki was already up the dirt hill while Raven was distracted with 'talking' to Galaxy, she didn't know that Mikazuki had already returned. Sometimes she doesn't like that some of them can do that whole silent walking. It freaks her out.

Galaxy watched the trio leave the cove in a hurry wanting to get a head start on their hunt. The dragon sometimes question why they just don't just go to the village and buy the things that they need for this upcoming winter, which he's not looking forward to.

Though when he thinks about it, it probably had to do with the blonde viking that left the house yesterday. He should ask his brother about what happened but for now…

"Alpha, kolos daar bo?" Asks the Night Fury.

"Nir" he answers

The Night Fury didn't like that answer, thinking the worst "Fos los nir?"

Galaxy can sense that this bother the dark one "volglaas um por, diin los coming ahrk nust praag kip ahrk raanom" he reassures.

Calming down, the Night Fury relaxes but something was still on his mind "Alpha, un fron los imprisoned ko tol mun sahsun, Zu'u laan wah stin niin"

"Mu los ni enshar wah kropah voth jul, dii zeymah lost vorohah nii baar" he may not like knowing that other kin are in imprisoned but Draco has made it very clear to stay away from the village.

"Mu nis nunon vos niin kos ahnaar!" the Night Fury barks in anger.

"Stiildus hinmaar, I'll drun nii vok voth dii zeymah ahrk koraav fos he'll saag" he expected this from the young dragon but something tells him that he'll do something reckless if not watched over.

"Fos vust rok dreh? rok riig do un eylok nuz hi tul faan mok Zeymah"

"Rok lost nid poguk, nunon med vir vorey didn't lost poguk fod neben rel do jud" Galaxy argues, hushing the Night Fury.

The Night Fury scoffed, flying off over the other side of the pond to sulk. Galaxy could only do his own version of an eye roll before digging into the food that the dark one brought him.

Back inside the house Draco was still asleep, at least what some of the others think. Hana on the other hand was standing above his sleeping form just close enough to cast a shadow on him. She waits for him to open his eyes but he doesn't.

Now crounching down to face level, inches away from his face she can see that his eyes twitched when she got closer "I know you're awake" she says.

"How could I not be awake, with so much noise and sleeping on the ground, it's hard to get a good sleep" he explains opening his eyes.

"You could've slept in my bed" she says jokingly.

"Funny, is Hiccup awake?" not amused.

"Yea, he's been awake for a while" she moves away giving him some space to get up.

Once on his feet he walks over to his room and knocks on the door "Hiccup, it's time to get to training, meet me outside once you're ready"

There was some noise on the other side of the door indicating what Hana said was true and that he was moving around possibly getting his stuff ready.

Draco turns to see that Hana was sitting at the dining table reading a book that she picked up from somewhere. Not wanting to bother her he leaves the house to wait for Hiccup outside giving him some time to get ready.

While outside, Draco took some time to take in the quietness that now fills the cove letting the sounds of nature making him feel at peace somewhat making him forget about the world around him.

Looking around the cove he noticed that the Night Fury was over in the corner of the cove while Galaxy was eating a small pile of fish next to what use to be the fire place when they first came to the cove after landing on Berk.

Not knowing how long it'll take for Hiccup to get ready he walks over to his dragon brother to see how he was doing. Galaxy turned noticing his human brother walking up to him sensing something off about him, he spoke first.

"Atruk trun Zeymah?" Galaxy asks.

"You could say that" Draco takes a seat next to Galaxy.

"Niidro do lass laat vulon?"

"Yea, we told her she can do whatever she want's with the information but even though I said it I feel… off" Draco lets out a sigh.

"Vust nii kos tol hi lost ni nuk wah vos ek mindok un soven?" Draco shrugs his shoulders.

"Maybe, I guess I wasn't expecting her to find out so soon or at all actually, but I guess I didn't take into account that she would follow Hiccup all the way out here"

"Rek would've siiv out eventually, niido pruzaan tol rek drey Nu ruz later"

Galaxy had a point. If Draco would have kept it from her as long as he was hoping, it could've turned out a lot worse then what happened last night, probably.

"I guess you're right, it probably is for the best that she found out now then later" not having anything else to say he stands up to go check on Hiccup but as soon as he got up Hiccup comes running out of the house with his stuff that he will need for today's training.

"Took you long enough" Draco comments.

"S-Sorry, I got caught up thinking of what might happen to us"

"Don't think about it right now, focus on your training, now follow we're burning light" Draco did not want to waste any more time almost leaving Hiccup behind, but he ran after him not wanting to get left behind.

Galaxy just watched as the two leave the cove. Once they were gone, he then sensed that something was watching them and looked around the cove to find a blue and gold Deadly Nadder standing over Toothless. This did not sit right with Galaxy.

"What's going on here?" barks Galaxy scaring both dragons.

The Night Fury was quick to get on his feet but the Nadder chirped up before the Night Fury could "Sorry alpha, I was thanking the fury for helping us escape"

Galaxy slowly turned to the Night Fury, but it kept its gaze to the ground. The Nadder could not help but feel uneasy.

"This is going to cause my brother and friends trouble since they are strangers here and might be accused of being the one's to set them free and if that happens, we might have to leave which I'm not fully healed to do" Galaxy explained.

He then turned to the Nadder "How many of you were there?"

The Nadder thought for a minute before speaking "Three, plus me, so four"

"Where are they now?"

"Not far"

(With Astrid) (At the Arena)

Astrid was hoping that training the kids would have help distract her from last nights conversation with Draco and all of the stuff about knowing 'magic' and being friends with dragons but when they arrived at the arena seeing a bunch of people and the doors to the dragon pens busted open the only thing that was on her mind was the possibility of this being Draco's doing.

She could hear the chief in front of the crowd questioning if anyone has seen who or what did this, but no one seemed to have an answer. Seeing that there is no way that she will be able to train the kids today she had to cancel the season and telling them that it will stay canceled until further notice.

"Astrid?" one of the children speaks up.

She looks down to see that its Mel and says, "Yes Mel something the matter?"

"If there are no dragons then how are we going to train?"

"We'll just have to catch more" after finishing that sentence she felt bad all of a sudden.

"Oh, ok, then do you think Draco could train us until then?" Astrid did not want to see Draco right now.

"He's busy training the chief's son, but when I see him again, I'll ask ok?" Mel nodded.

The other kids call out to Mel wanting her to hurry up. Astrid hurried her to go on and catch up with them which she gleefully did. Astrid smiled as the little girl and her friends left the arena.

Astrid on the other hand did not know what to do now besides to go see what the others are up too but they may be busy or in the twin's case something stupid. She ultimately decided to just go wonder around the village and hope to find something to do.

Not sure why it took so long to sink in, but she is just now realizing that after the dragons stopped attacking Berk after the defeat of the big dragon at the dragon's nest it has become very boring on Berk even though it was not all that fun to begin with.

They did have their holidays and festivals. Snoggletog is one for example but that only happens once a year since that is when the dragons would not attack during that time. Then there is Thanksgiving but sometimes it does not happen due to the raids.

Thinking about it some more she just now remembered that the thawfest games are coming up a week from now maybe this time they can hold one. She was fired up and had the urge to go train in the woods but then remembering that Draco's house was not far from where she likes to train, her fire faded.

'Why is he effecting me so much? Why does knowing that stuff bother me so much? I could go to the chief and tell him what I know and force them to leave but why can't I bring myself to do it?' she was at total war with herself clearly not aware of her true feelings towards Draco.

"Astrid?"

Ever since last night she has been wanting to talk to someone about what she knows but something inside aches whenever she thinks about doing such a thing. Is it because of what he said? Or could it be something else?

"Astrid!?"

She is pulled back into reality after hearing someone say her name. Looking around she notices that it was Ruffnut and she was carrying two bags seeming to be having some trouble with them. Astrid rushes over to help her.

"Finally, I called you like, twice, and why are you not training the kids today?" Astrid takes one of the bags.

"The dragons escaped and Stoick with some others are in the arena trying to figure out what happened" Ruffnut looked surprised.

"Wait, the dragons escaped!? So that is what we heard last night" she whispered the last part, but Astrid still heard it.

"What are you talking about?"

"Well, Tuff and I heard a boom last night while we were setting a prank, but we did not know what it was"

"You should tell the chief because right now he is questioning people thinking that someone let them out" Astrid grabs Ruffnut's arm and begins to drag her in the direction of the arena completely forgetting about the bags.

Ruffnut pulled back stopping Astrid "Wow, hold your yaks, I still have to get these bags to my house and then we can go tell the chief"

"Oh… right…. Let us get these to your house" Astrid changed from going to the arena and back in the direction of Ruffnut's house and Ruffnut was closely behind her.

Something was off about Astrid and Ruffnut could clearly see it "Ok, what's up with you? You would not be so easy to turn away from doing good with the chief especially when it comes to news like that, it is not like you"

"I just have a lot on my mind right now and I don't want to talk about it" she actually does want to talk about it, but this is Ruffnut she is talking to and that would not be a good idea.

"Come on Astrid, this is me we are talking about I am going to find out eventually, so you should just tell me now" she is right. She will find out somehow, but this is different, and she needs to figure this out on her own.

"Does it have something to do with Draco? Did you two get into a fight?"

"No, now can you drop it" if Ruffnut knew that they got into a fight she would go to Draco herself and "talk" to him. If you can call punching someone talking that is.

"You did get into a fight, what happened? Did he do something? If he did something, I swear I'm—" Astrid had to stop her before she does something stupid.

"Ruffnut! Nothing happened, now just drop it" she sped up her pace to make some space between the two.

"If nothing happened then why are you acting as if something did?"

"Ruffnut I said to drop it" Astrid's warning Ruffnut at this point and whenever that happens it is wise to stop doing what you are doing and drop it.

"Fine, but if you don't fix this between you two, I am getting involved no matter what you say" all Astrid could do was to roll her eyes.

Though the walk was short the two stayed quiet for the remaining of the walk. Finally arriving at the Thorstons house they drop off the bags inside leaving it for the Mrs. Thorston to take them where they are needed.

After dropping off the bags instead of going to the arena like they were going to do instead she decided to leave Ruffnut and head off to the docks hoping to find some peace there, as she was walking away, she heard Ruffnuts voice.

"Hey! I thought we were going to tell Stoick about the boom I heard" but Astrid just ignored her and kept walking.

Astrid needed some time to think and being around Ruffnut, that was not going to happen. She would go to her usually training spot in the woods but with everything that has happened that would not help her either. Leaving her not with many options the docks was another spot she could think of.

Making her way through the village she could hear that the news of the dragon's escape has made it to the village which means they are not at the arena anymore and possibly going around asking if anyone knows anything about the escape.

Maybe she should just go and tell the chief what Ruffnut said but she has so much on her mind that if she was to go talk to Stoick something might slip out. It would be best if she told him though because if she does not then something might lead Stoick to Draco, his friends, and those dragons which she does not want to happen unless she is the one to do it.

Astrid lets out a frustrated groan having an internal battle with herself not sure what to do anymore.

"Why is this so difficult?"

"What's so difficult Astrid?" Astrid turns to see that it is just Fishlegs.

"Oh, hey Fishlegs, it's nothing I was just thinking out loud what are you up to?"

"I just got finished dropping off an order for some nails to Gobber and an order of lumber for my dad since the ships that've returned from fishing came back a damaged now, I'm on my way back to help out" he finished explaining.

That is one spot she can forget about "Oh then I won't keep you then, see you around Fishlegs" Astrid now has to find another spot.

"Hold on Astrid, something seems off about you is something bothering you?" she is beginning to think that everyone can read her mind or something.

"I'm fine, I just have a lot on my mind right now"

"Would you like to talk about it?"

She shakes her head "Thanks but no, it's nothing important"

"It doesn't sound like it's not important"

"Fishlegs, just drop it, please" unlike Ruffnut, Fishlegs is a kind person and would help out anyone that needs help, but this is something that only she can do.

"Ok, I'll drop it, but if you ever need someone to talk just know I'm here to listen, see you around Astrid" Fishlegs takes his leave heading back to the docks leaving Astrid to find another spot.

With the docks out of the question the only place left that comes to mind is the watch tower that Gobber used to make them meet up at when they were still in dragon training. If the watch tower is out of the question, she might just lose her mind.

The watch tower has been used little since she has taken over training the new generation, but she does use whenever she feels like the kids earned it or whenever she hangs out with her friends. But with the passing years with everyone growing up and everyone having jobs it is not used as much anymore so it is a good place to be alone.

Walking through the village for the third time she noticed people were starting to stare at her with confusion, some had worry. She guesses it is because she looks like a chicken with no head just walking around aimlessly but no one seemed to want to walk up to her and see if she was alright.

She did not mind it though being alone is what she wanted and that is what she is getting. She noticed that some of her other friends were walking in her direction, but she quickly turned down between two houses wanting to avoid them, but she instead runs into Snotlout.

This was not her day "Hello babe, I knew you could not stay away from me" he tries to be sexy, but it just made her want to throw up.

"I'm not in the mood to deal with you right now" she tries to turn around to leave but he stands in her way once again.

"Come on babe, you know you want all this" he gestures to himself as he slowly walks closer to her. She really wanted to throw up now.

"Ah, don't be like that, you came here for a reason and I don't see anyone else besides me"

"I came this way to avoid people, but it seems that is impossible because where I go someone has to be somewhere, now move out of my way" she pushes past Snotlout, but he quickly grabs her wrist.

"Oh, come on, you can stop denying it, you want me, and I want you too so why deny it" he tries pulling her in to kiss her, but she uses her free arm and punches him straight in the jaw.

The punch forces him to let go of her arm and stumble backwards leaving him stunned/shocked. He rubbed where she punched him realizing what just happened "What the hell? You punched me!" he yelled.

"Touch me again and I will do more then just punch you" she storms off getting as far away as she can, but she then felt him grab her arm "Don't you run from me!" he practically ordered.

"If you do not let go of me now, I am going to get rid of the one thing that makes you a man!" she yelled yanking her arm away from him, but he had an iron grip keeping her from getting away.

"Hey Snotlout! Let us go to the hall and get—" it was Tuffnut.

Astrid felt Snotlouts grip loosen so she took he chance and yanked her arm once again followed by another punch then a kick to his manhood. He collapses to his knees holding his manhood "If you ever touch me again, I'll make you regret it" She warns shoving pass Tuffnut leaving him confused and Snotlout hurting.

It was bad enough that she already has a lot on her mind but now she was mad. Mad at Draco for breaking her axe, mad at the people that keep on bothering her. Now she is mad that Snotlout had the balls to try to man handle her.

"Can this day get any fucking worse?!" she exclaims.

"Lass?" she jerks around to see that it was Stoick.

"Yes? Did you need something sir?" she asks.

"No, jus' noticed that ya were yellin' and wondered what was happenin'" she felt a little embarrassed.

"It is nothing, I was just trying to find a nice place to think but everywhere I went someone, or something chances my mind either it being too loud or too busy" she explains.

"Ahh, I understand that feelin' but ya need to understand that Berk is not that big of a place so there is not a lot of places to have to ya self but if ya don't mind me askin' but what got ya so angry?" he asks.

She had a feeling he would ask that just like everyone else, but she cannot just tell him what she found out, at least not yet, not until she has decided on what she wants to do. She could just tell him about what Snotlout tried to do, that could probably make Snotlout stop, or it could just make things worse.

"It's nothing sir, just having a rough day and wanted to find a quiet place to think about what is next"

"Already thinkin' about ya future aye?" he laughs.

She was confused "What?"

"Don't worry lass, it is not as bad a ya think"

"Um… sir, what are you talking about?"

"Ya and Draco, wasn't that what ya was talkin' 'bout?"

She understood, now she is blushing "Oh, that's what you meant, um… yea, kind of but not completely" wanting to change the subject she brings up what Ruffnut said earlier "Sir, did Ruffnut ever talk to you?"

"Ya, the lass explained what she heard and for now I have everyone stayin' on alert and keep a look out for the beasts"

"Do you think that'll be necessary, I mean with that monster at the nest dead don't you think the dragons would have no reason to come here again" that seemed to make him think.

"Ya 'ave a point lass but with the recent attack on the arena we can't be too careful with what might happen next, that reminds me I need to go see Gobber at the smithy before the sun sets"

Astrid nods her head "See you around sir"

After Stoick left to go to the smithy Astrid continues her way to the watchtower feeling a little bit better. Before she could not stop thinking about if she should tell anybody what she found out but when Stoick brought up her having a future with Draco (even though at first it was a misunderstanding) she started to feel those butterflies again.

She couldn't help but smile at the thought.

(With Draco and Hiccup)

While training Hiccup, making him run through some rough terrain carrying a few medium size rocks. Draco's mind drifted off allowing a couple of hours to past and forgetting that he was training Hiccup but whenever he would hear something or hear Hiccup returning, he would return to reality.

Speaking of which "Hiccup! It's time to call it a day!" he calls out to the now tired Hiccup.

A heavy breathing Hiccup walks through some brush "F-Finally" with a thud Hiccup drops the bags of rocks onto the ground.

"Go on home and rest up, tomorrow is a day off so enjoy it, I'll be busy at the forge tomorrow" Draco explains.

"Wait… didn't you say today was going to be a busy day?" Hiccup asks.

"I thought it was, but I guess I was wrong, now go home and rest and I forgot that I haven't got to explain to your father where you were last night so if he asks tell him what happened and if he doesn't believe you tell me, and I'll explain"

Hiccup could tell that Draco had a lot on his mind, but he wasn't going to pry into it too much not wanting to annoy him. Hiccup achingly walked back towards the village while Draco walked in the direction of his home.

Though they didn't go far to train but walking back while being stuck in your head feels like it takes forever to get back. He wasn't in his head for long though since Galaxy spoke up pulling him back to reality.

"Zeymah, Mu lost aan problem"

"What happened?" he asks hoping that whatever the problem is that it isn't as bad as Galaxy is making it sound.

Galaxy turns around a little letting out what sounds like a bark calling over the Night Fury who by the way looks a little afraid, keeping his head low and avoiding Galaxy's gaze.

"Thdro gein went out ahrk freaan fin other dragonne Nol tol arena tol hi talkaan do" Draco rubbed the bridge of his nose annoyed with this news.

It was already bad enough but now with the dragons freed this just might give Astrid more of a reason to tell Stoick "Where are the others?" is all he could ask.

"Nust're inside"

Draco quietly leaves the two dragons to their own while he heads on inside to talk with the others to see if any of them knows if anything is happening in the village.

As he entered the house he was greeted by Raven "Draco, took you long enough, we thought you… what's wrong?"

"Has anyone been to the village at all today?" he asks calmly as he takes a seat at the table where everyone else was sitting.

The room was quiet for a little bit before Hana speaks up "I have"

"Did anyone seem off?"

"Some but not everyone"

"What's going on?" Raven asks.

"Is this about what happened to the doors at the arena?" Mikasuki asks.

"Yes, the Night Fury freed the other dragons from the arena" the air in the room changed.

"What are we going to do?" asks Sal.

"We'll wait and see, that's all we can do"

"Shouldn't we be more worried about this?" asks Raven.

"No, if we do that then it will add suspicion on us, right now from what I saw no one was suspecting us" Mikasuki explains.

"That's correct, for now all we can do is hope that nothing happens (sigh) I'm exhausted, I'm going to head to bed" Draco stands up from his seat leaving the table to go to his room.

"What about dinner?" asks Raven.

"I'm not hungry" was all he said as the door closes behind him.

The room was quiet for a little bit before anyone spoke up "Has he eaten at all today?" Sal asks.

"I took some lunch to him when he was training Hiccup, so I assume so"

"Is that viking girl really getting to him?" Hana asks.

"Probably a little but I don't think that's what really is bothering him" Sal says before taking a sip of his mug of water.

"If it's about the dragons being freed then he doesn't need to be that worried about it, we're much stronger then anyone here, he shouldn't be bothered if anyone finds out about it" Everyone turned to Hana not sure if they should say something or not.
